Personality:
Shirogane is a hard worker and strives to achieve top skills. Of course, one shouldn't be fooled by his personality on the training field. Away from fighting, he's a pretty easy-going guy... unless you make him mad. He holds a good grudge and doesn't forgive so easily. Those who don't upset him find that Shirogane is a good listener and very trustworthy, even if he doesn't always trust others (ninjas shouldn't trust many in his opinion).

He can be very stubborn, and doesn't quit. He'll work all night if he has to.

History

Background:
Shirogane was born in a small, unnamed village in Japan. His mother died shortly after he was born, and Shirogane was raised by his father and his grandparents. When he was 4 years old, his father left, hoping to come back some day rich. He never returned and it is still unknown if he is alive.

Then, when Shirogane was 6, he announced to his grandfather he wanted to be a swordsman. His grandmother was outraged, convinced that young Shirogane would surely die if he followed such a ridiculious dream. His grandfather, however, allowed him to go and study under a teacher in a nearby village.

Several years later, Shirogane decided to leave and join the Shifting Shadows. Before he was allowed to leave, his grandfather gave him the family sword: Ryū Kōtei (竜皇帝 which translates to "Dragon Emperor") as well as a sack of coins. Ever since, he has been training hard so one day he can become one of the best swordsmen in the world.
