This is one of the most dangerous places in Japan. Here nothing but criminals, mercenary, and fugitives reside. You would think a place like this would have been run out by the authorities by now, but on the contrary. Even though this is criminal safe haven and allows organizations like The Kraken to set up HQ, it keeps those criminals out of civilian filled cities.

Although this village is allowed to exist, it is still not in the public's eye; it is hidden within an old mining cavern.
Akusho is a place that doesn't care about health codes; it is mostly made of slums. A lot of the buildings are poorly constructed, since they are made with makeshift materials. It is pretty much what you would expect from a village founded by low life criminals.

((OOC: Just a reminder to everyone: please remember to post where your character is located. Though most can tell where you are, just to be sure select it or just go to the area and post there. And if you happen to go to a lot of places in your post, then just choose the place you end up as where you are. Or if you are in no specific place, then choose Feudal Japan. Thanks ^^))

"I wonder where everyone is?"

Wanting to celebrate the mastering of his latest technique, Ken was on his way to Kyoujin Tavern. He didn't have any money of his own, so he had stole a bit from his fellow Kraken. He wore a small smile on his face as he thought of this. Saito won't miss it anyway... Flipping a gold coin in the air, he continued on his path.

"Nice coin there kid, why don't I hold it for you?"

A sigh escaped Ken's lungs as his good time was already being ruined. It seemed a rather impudent man had been watching Ken and his gold coin. And when Ken passed him and flipped it for the third time, the man snatched it from the air. He was a burly fellow and his friends were about the same size, all much larger than Ken. They were all now laughing, saying how he was an easy mark.

"And they wonder why I stay home..." Mumbling he slowly placed his hand on the hilt of his katana.

"Ha-ha! What was that little-?"

Before the man could finish his sentence, Kenny had unsheathed his katana and in an upward slash he had cut the hand that held his coin. He re-sheathed his blade before the severed hand could hit the ground. The man stood in shock as he held his wound, watching the blood spill out.

"I said: I am sorry for your ignorance. Maybe if you could have recognized me as the third arm of The Kraken, your hand would still be intact."

The men stood baffled before him, in shock of who he was and what he had just did. They were all lucky, seeing as the only reason they weren't returned to their gods, was because Ken didn't want to get blood on him; he had just changed. He knelled down to pick up the lifeless hand and remove the coin that remained clinched in its fist. "You're welcome." He casually said after he tossed the hand back to its owner.

Hmmm... I guess the saying is true: do not do to others, what you would not like to be done to you. But, I guess that just applies to the weak.

Smirking, he continued on his path and flipping his coin.

"Showing off again, are we Ken..." A deep female voice came from an alley he passed by on his way. Daishisen came out to meet him on the street, fluttering an ornamental fan before her, beating cool breeze over her face. Her skin was still damp and had the smell of fresh spring water still wafting around her. "It's a pitty you can't seem to keep a lower profile. It might make a bigger psychological impact if you didn't cut the limbs from every wandering weed you met." She glanced with a devious little smirk to the group of men and the new amputee.

She walked at his side for a while, wondering if he were just going to the tavern. For the life of her, Daishisen could never understand why he wasted money down there, the Sake was horrid and the place smelled fo farm-hands. It really wasn't the best place to celebrate anything, in her opinion.

Asuka walked through the suspicious streets of Akusho village with indifference. She had no pride or shame in her stride, nor was she looking to fulfill some sort of purpose. She had no business in those dangerous parts and was simply there looking for something to do. She had taken the guise of an elderly man so as not to catch any special attention. Even though her appearance had taken the opposite effect, she did not change and didn't seem to care either.

Asuka caught the eyes of every person on the street, not making any eye contact with anyone. She stared straight ahead and walked forward as if she was in a park, having a nice stroll. A skinny scruffy looking man approached her, knife in hand. "Hey old man. What are ya doing here?" he said, his words slurring together. Asuka could barely make out his words. She ignored him, still walking forward. "Oi, stop ya geezer!" Asuka kept walking until he stepped in front of her, waving his knife in her face.

Cackling, the man smiled smugly. "I oughta knife you fer that, but since yar an old fart, I'll let ya go. Give me yer money, old man," he said, stabbing the air in between them. Asuka stood silently before bringing out what appeared to be a wooden walking stick. "Move," she said once in the voice of an old man's. The man cackled again but his smile disappeared. "I'm gettin' impatient. I said, give me yer money." When she said nothing, the man attempted to stab her but was disarmed with a clang of metals as she sent the knife flying upward with her walking stick.

The man froze, dumbfounded for a moment before recovering when Asuka asked in the man's voice, "You have tested my patience. Now, you must answer this: Do you wish to live? ..Or die?" The man gave her an unbelieving look before swinging at her as she dodged. Asuka murmured, her voice and appearance slowly changing back to her original form, "Death? So be it." The walking stick's facade faded until it revealed to be a katana. The man's eyes widened as he witnessed this transformation, unaware that she had been disguised all this time.

It was Lily Asuka, a notorious member of The Kraken. This brought genuine fear deep in his heart. She swung down but the man dodged successfully. Shocked and relieved he had actually dodged, he dropped his guard which was a big mistake. "I did it .. i did it! I actually dodged!" He laughed in relief looking at everyone with pride. Asuka put the katana in the inside of her coat, the sword disappearing as it came in contact. She walked away from the scene, hearing the sound of the man falling to the ground as the sword she had sent flying into the sky earlier dropped down and pierced his heart.

"Kimuio-dono. What a pleasant surprise," said Asuka, bowing down in respect. "And if I may ask, what business might Akusho Village have with yourself? If you need any assistance, I am at your service."

Saito stopped and looked at the town that lay before him: Akusho Village.
"Ah...I'm finally back. It feels like ages since I last came here...and from what I heard, Daishisen is here as well. I'm curious to see what she has planned..." He gave a small smirk. Saito was waiting for the moment he could attack the Tokugawa, and out of respect for the Kraken Leader, he paitiently awaited her orders. If it were anyone else he would have probably already attacked the Empire City.

He made his way into the cavern that housed the city. In all reality, Saito hated this place almost as much as Empire City. Akusho Village was a place that lacked terms like "honor" and "strength" and replaced them with greed and weakness. However, this was where the Kraken resided, so he made a point to try and think of it as home. After walking a ways he came across an elderly man being harrassed by a thief. Saito could see through the guise though.
"Oh boy, this will be messy..." He said as he watched Lily dispatch the thief. "Ha...As lethal as ever..." He said to her as he walked past. He then saw Daishisen up ahead. "Hello there...so, have you any orders for me?"

"Good afternoon Lily-kohai, how are you?" She looked back at the grubby thief who'd been pierced and smiled a little devious grin, tightening her lips. "Well, at least you're keeping active." She laughed a little and continued beating the air about her face with the fan. Suddenly, she heard the footsteps of someone else. Preparing to step aside a little, she heard Saito comming.

"No," in response to his question. "I haven't anything yet, but fairly soon, I'm sure. There's something going on a little later, but we ought not to discuss it here. Just in case you know." She nodded solumnly to the two of them, knowing they understood. "Well, I thought I would simply look in and see what things were happening within the town. I see there is little to be concerned with and I shall return to the manor. Good day." She made a graceful bow and turned away from the three, passing gentley through, like the breeze, and returning home.

Re: [OOC] Feudal Moon

LOL

Y'all do know this is the old thread?

Re: [OOC] Feudal Moon

I had to copy and paste

Re: [OOC] Feudal Moon

I don't really know how to submit a pre-concieved character to an rp. Does anyone know how to do that?

Re: [OOC] Feudal Moon

Of course Soni, that's only expected.

Re: [OOC] Feudal Moon

Hey fly,

Since I'm already in the new feudal moon, is it okay if I drop from this one? I just wanted to check with you before I hit the 'Abandon this character into the unknown' button. Thanks!

-Soni

Re: [OOC] Feudal Moon

I just re-posted the RP.

So carry all OOC chat from this thread to this one.

And here is the link to the new RP: Feudal Moon: Eclipse

So if you are still in this RP, please re-submit your character and they will be accepted without question. And if you would like to obtain a new role, submit that new character. Or if you think your charter can have two roles, then PM me or say so within the new OOC.

Re: [OOC] Feudal Moon

Ok thanks Soni, but I wouldn't want you to RP so many characters. It makes a person very tired as and it will make your posts suffer.

So I will re-post this RP.

That way it will attract some new roleplayers, as well show who all will be staying in the RP. Since you all will have to resubmit your characters.

Re: [OOC] Feudal Moon

Well well, you go Sonora.

I'm sure you will be a vital asset to the team of roleplayers that have assembled here to put this thing back in motion.

Re: [OOC] Feudal Moon

Hello All,

This is a post to officially offer to assume whatever roles need to get filled to start this rp. Im working on a profile for the master of the school now, and if you need a rival I can do that and maybe double as the evil one??? Just let me know what you wan't me to do, I'm willing to rp up to 5 characters, but I already have two.

Discuss.

Re: [OOC] Feudal Moon

I'm fine with whatever you do Fly.

Re: [OOC] Feudal Moon

It shouldn't be that hard to get you a rival.

And glad to hear that Soni.

You, know...

If y'all wanted I could Re-Post this RP. So that way you all would have a fresh start, with the chance of new people joining. It wouldn't take that long, all it is is a lot of copying and pasting, then y'all could just pick up after the time-jump.

Re: [OOC] Feudal Moon

I'm still waiting on a rival.= (

Re: [OOC] Feudal Moon

I'm here!! oh, and if writers block is an issue for people, I can post the introduction to both the Kraken meeting and the Shifting Shadow's, as I have two characters. But only if I'm needed to, i'm not trying to take over or anything.

-Soni

Re: [OOC] Feudal Moon

I havne't yet, I was waiting to see how many people were interested. I don't exactly know how to do that without people comming in or at least posting entrances.

Re: [OOC] Feudal Moon

Ok so that's two people and I think Kira is in too, so really that's 3.

I think 5 will be a nice number, along with people taking on multiple roles.

Re: [OOC] Feudal Moon

I will help in some way shape or form, Apple have you posted the introduction to the Kraken meeting?

Re: [OOC] Feudal Moon

Uh... me I guess. Although I'm not entirely sure how I became Kraken leader. Then again, I'm not complaining considering it's like, the first position of power I've ever held in an rp. :D

Re: [OOC] Feudal Moon

IDK how I missed Neon's post...

But how many people are still willing to keep this RP alive?

Because I am willing to uphold my responsibility as GM, but only if people still mean to carry this RP out.

Re: [OOC] Feudal Moon

Well, to me the rp was dead and so I was going to declare it as so. But as long as people are posting and enjoying my rp, then it is alive. However I will be dropping out. It was my original intention not take place in this rp, but after I made such a amazing character, I just had to use him...

So just treat my characters as NPC's because I might decide to re-join later... Since they will be Important NPC's, you are still allowed to have interactions with them and god mod a little bit. I will still remain the active GM, so I will always be watching over the rp.

Even though I never made the initial post, I would like everyone to continue as if the time-jump has happened. So it is a month later. All the Krakens are supposed to be reporting back to the leader, you all posts should begin there. As for everyone else, y'all should start off in the school and preparing to go on a mission that you have heard rumors about. Whenever Neon returns I will help him develop the post to contain the necessary info about the mission.
