STORY:
This is a ninja RP if you haven't guessed by now. It will be about the ninja of one specific school, Shifting Shadow. The setting will be in 17th Century Feudal Japan, but most of the RP will take place in the areas I designate. There will be multiple stories, but one underlying one: the take over of Shifting Shadows.
We will do this in episodes, the first will be about downfall of a criminal empire known as The Kraken. I plan on it being at least three episodes, but who knows, things will change as we go along and as people give the input of their creative mind.
But one thing is for sure, this will be a action RP. There will of course be dialogue, but I wanted the greatest moments of the RP to be in it's fight scenes. Though this doesn't mean I want everything else to be half-assed, I'm just saying I want everyone capable of text fighting. I would like to keep things pretty realistic though, if you have heard of or played Jade Empire, then nothing out of their realm of fantasy.
THE KRAKEN:
Almost all of the Blackguard and their family, has been hunted down and killed. Those left alive, now are filled with rage and anger and seek revenge. They have turned against the empire and seek to overthrow it. They have setup HQ in Akusho Town and ave already assembled a small, but blood thirsty army whom have already claimed the surrounding area as their territory. In doing this, they now go by a new name: The Kraken; given to them because of the eight remaining members, who were also the leaders of the Blackguard.
ROLES:
These are not necessary for people to have, but if you do choose then please act it out well. These roles will help shape the story and events of the rp. When you choose one of these roles, put it in your character sheet and also PM any ideas you have about the role concerning the story. These roles also come with ranks, which are the minimum of years you have to attend the school or the maximum you can start off. They also give you effects concerning your skills; it possible to combine some of these, just ask.

NINJUTSU:
To help decipher everyone's skill, you will pick 6 of the skills listed below. If you can think of any others, then you can add them, but 6 is still the max and I will still have to accept it. By picking one of these you are automatically proficient in them, but you can choose 2 to master. There are classifications and a few other things that go along with the skills, so I will tell you what they mean below:
Offensive Skill- skills that will help you offensively.
Defensive Skill- skills that will help you in matters of defense. Though they can be considered secondary, these will always be there without the help of weapons or equipment.
Secondary Skill- skills that cannot strictly be considered offense or defense, but they can still kill or help defend you against enemies.
Support Skill- skills that require either mental or physical training.
Kill Strike- a move that kill those that are weak and without training or unaware with one swift movement.
Specialist- one that has trained in a specific field of an skill, until they have mastered that area. Becoming a specialist won't affect the 2 master skills.
Auto-Mastery- means that upon choosing this skill, you automatically become a master of it. This will not subtract from the 2 skills you can master.
Master Trait- the reward gain for mastering a skill.
Below are the actual skills, remember you can choose up to 6 and you can master 2. The only way this can change will depend on if you have a role.
~Offense~
Sword Fighting: Skilled with wielding a sword.
Master Trait: Can wield two swords; Kill Strike
Stick and Staff Fighting: Skilled with wielding a staff.
Master Trait: Can dual wield staffs. Can also strike nerve points, therefore paralyzing the enemy.
Spear Fighting: Skilled with wielding a spear.
Master Trait: Can wield multiple spears; pinpoint accuracy when throwing them; Kill Strike.
Spear Fighting: Skilled with wielding a spear.
Master Trait: Can wield multiple spears; pinpoint accuracy when throwing them; Kill Strike.
Tekagi-shuko Fighting: Skilled with wielding a Tekagi-shuko. (clawed weapon)
Master Trait: Can wield them on your feet; Kill Strike.
Kusarigama Fighting:Skilled with wielding a Kusarigama or any chained weapon. Examples:
Kusarigama- Chained sickle
Kyoketsu Shoge- Chained Kinife
Manriki- Chained Weights
Manriki-gusari- longer version of nun-chuks
Master Trait: Can successfully wield two of these weapons without getting tangled or hurt.
Unarmed Combat: Skilled fighter, trained in the art of taijutsu. Cannot use any other Offensive Skills if you choose to master this.
Master Trait: Master of Taijutsu (or any other style); Kill Strike; also by mastering this, you gain full knowledge of:
-Koppojutsu: Breaking bones.
-Koshijutsu: Striking nerve points, muscles, knowledge of the human body, etc.
-Taihenjutsu: Evasion, postures, ukemi (rolls/falling), etc.
-Dakentaijutsu: Striking patterns, fist formations, conditioning, etc.
-Jutaijutsu: Throws, joint locks, pins, etc.
~Defense~
Disguise and Impersonation: Can copy the last person they have killed or disguise themselves as a: priest, samurai, merchant, craftsman, performer, puppeteer, or farmer. Though you can be caught.
Master Trait: Can successfully mimic anyone. Can also change within seconds.
Stealth and Entering Methods: Can move around while making little noise and break into most places with little trouble.
Master Trait: Master of the 5 methodologies:
-Nyukyo no jutsu - Correct use of timing to enter an area.
-Monomi no jutsu - Discovering the weak point in the area's defenses.
-Nyudaki no jutsu - Using a psychological weakness in the guard
-Yoji-gakure - Distraction. (For example, throwing an object to distract a guard)
-Joei-on jutsu - Erasing light and sound. (For example, keeping a light between themselves and a guard in order to distract him, as this would also make it harder for any guard to see them.)
Escaping and Concealment: Can escape any situation without the aid of others; can conceal anything within reason.
Auto mastery
~Secondary~
Spiritual Refinement: Ninja magic in other words; basic element manipulation. Minor manipulation of elements.
Specialist: Can choose one element to master.
Master Trait: Use of greater magic, can even heal others. Also gains the ability to use all elements.
Throwing shuriken: Pinpoint accuracy with throwing shuriken
Master Trait: Will have pinpoint accuracy when throwing multiple shuriken; Kill Strike.
Kunai Fighting: Skilled with fighting with a Kunai or throwing it.
Master Trait: Will have pinpoint accuracy when throwing multiple Kunai. Also proficient with using it as a knife. Kill Strike.
Pyrotechnics and Explosives: Skilled with items such as firearms, gunpowder, and explosives.
Master Trait: pinpoint accuracy; greater explosion; can prepare explosives or reload in a snap; kill shot or no escape from explosion.
~Support~
Horsemanship: Can ride and instantly tame any horse.
Auto Mastery
Water Training: Can swim and breathe shortly in water.
Master Trait: Basically you are a fish; you can also run across water.
Auto Mastery
Tactics: Simply said, you are a mastermind. You can also read your opponents moves, basically giving you a slight foresight, just enough for you to block any incoming attack.
Auto mastery
Espionage: Master of gathering info, sabotaging, and spying. Instant knowledge of any equipment, building, machine, etc.
Auto mastery
Meteorology: Can foresee weather changes.
Master Trait: Will be in-tune with nature: By knowing nature's changes, animal behavior, or atmospheric signs, one could use rainy weather or a hot sunny period; can even use animals to aid them.
Geography: Can tell where you are based of your surroundings; basically you are a walking map-quest.
Auto mastery
NINJA RANK:
This is your status in the school. Make sure your rank matches your role (if you choose one) or the years you trained at the school. The earliest you can start advancing through ranks is age 14, but you can start training at any age. Special ranking can be acquired by proving yourself, which takes a lot seeing as your average ninja can accomplish the most inhuman of tasks.
Sapphire Star: Trained for 1 year.
Emerald Star: Trained for 5 years.
Sacred Star: Awarded to those ninja who commit selfless acts; not only for their comrades, but civilian as well. Must at least be Emerald Star.
Ruby Star: Trained for 10 years.
Sapphire Moon: Trained for 15 years.
Emerald Moon: Trained for 25 years.
Blood Moon: Given to the heartless of ninja, known for their lethal ways. Must have trained for at least 20 years.
Heavenly Moon: Given to elite ninja for accomplishing god-like tasks. Must be of Emerald Moon rank to acquire.
Ruby Moon: Trained for 50 years.
Oni Eye: Given to ninja who have acquired the ranks of Heavenly and/or Blood Moon plus Ruby Moon.
Divine Eye: Sacred Star + Blood Moon + Heavenly Moon + Ruby Moon + Oni Eye + 70 years of training.
Shadow Eye: Master only. Requires 70 years of training.

GUIDELINES AND RULES:
1. This rp is about as Adult as it can get while staying within RPG rules, so just remember that.
2. Quality over quantity.
3. I want only serious, dedicated, experienced rpers only. I feel I have those skills, so it is only right I ask for the people of this rp to have the same.
4. Your char can and might die, so really keep that in mind when replying to post. Even mines can, though I don't want him to :'(
5. Be familiar with text fighting. It isn't necessary for you know how to text fight, but it will be appreciated in fight scenes.
6. Just because this is a fantasy rp, doesn't mean your char is a one man army. I will want one hell of a post if your char is pulling off stunts like that.
7. A tad bit of common sense is required here. Not to be a jerk, but I'm just saying...
8. Once your character has died, they are forever gone from the rp. Unless, they are brought back to life; which the method will have to be discussed first.
9. You can have more than one character, as long as you can proficiently rp them.
10. Also please DO NOT POST anywhere EXCEPT the OOC, until I say otherwise
11. READ EVERYTHING! Not just because I spent hours of my life writing it, but just because it explains a lot of the rp. And will save a lot of time.

I know this is childish and dumb, but there a lot of people who don't read anything and just post chars and there are a few rules that need to be followed. Hyugan watched as Deacon neutralized then repelled the orbs of water in piercing droplets from a young prankster, neither surprised or dissatisfied. At least he'll be a better warm up then yesterday.
They entered the training grounds where several students practiced all forms of katas, armed and unarmed. He lead Deacon to the center, mildly stretching and loosening his joints in the process.
"Unarmed combat. Three rounds." Hyugan said aloud, paying no mind to the students who stopped their training and swarmed around them. He closed his eyes, taking slow breaths as he briefly went into a meditative state. Remember, this is a sparring match, Hyugan mentally noted, check-listing all the things his teachers would instruct him to do. No Koppojutsu and only secondary Koshijutsu. I don't want to be responsible for another crippled ninja.
He turned to face Deacon in a casual stance, calm with a slight grin. "Ready when you are."

Reina took a deep breath then closed her eyes, focusing on making a body image on the tree she had been training with. She throw three senbon needles. One hit where the person's neck would be. One in the heart. And the last, would hit a lung. The points were major but also predictable. She had been training for hours and was becoming tired. She opened her eyes, gathered her things and took off.
Her tube top slid over her head, her short tight shorts slide down to the soft grass that her feet stood in. A ribbon was pulled out of her short red hair, letting it fall straight down around her slender face. Her eyes opened and looked at the water that fell from the waterfall a few feet away from her. Her eyes were a soft green. Nearly a teal. She took a deep breath then slowly walked into the water. The cool breeze chilled her naked skin but as soon as she mild temperature of the water covered the majority of her body, she began to smile again. She dove under and began to let herself relax for a few seconds.
It was a hour later before Reina got fully dressed, gathered her weapons and amour, and appeared at the Shifting Shadow school. She spent her regular three hours cleaning some of the dojos, cleaning weapons, and putting things up. The next two hours were spend sparing with some of the lower students.
When Reina had a moment to herself, she set out to find Deacon Frost. Somehow, it never took long for her to find him. She watched one girl who had had her eyes on Deacon walk towards the eating area. Then her eyes caught the sight of a child. She walked past both of them and headed to the training grounds. Before Deacon would notice her, she scurried up into a tree where she could watch the battle and would be out of the way.
"Good luck." she whispered then smiled a little, waiting for the match to start.

The sound of the tegaki-shuko slashing the coarse bark of a tree echoed in the deep forest.
Look at you! You're a girl.
The metal of her weapons collided with a sharp clang.
You belong in the kitchen, you weak girl.
Nao screamed. With a final stab, her tegaki-shuko was embedded halfway through the tree, her head facing the ground. Sweat and tears dripped from her face, hidden by her loose auburn hair. A nice breeze blew, causing the hairs on Nao's neck to raise and her hair and tears to flow away from her. Nao could still hear her father, criticizing and laughing at her coldly. The thought made her blood boil, her eyebrows furrow and always made her feel like being violent. It had been 6 years since she had last seen him.
He wasn't concerned about her one bit, she could tell. She bet that, right at that very moment, he had probably even forgotten he had a daughter. Or even if he did remember, he would only reminisce of her failure to him as a daughter. Nao grunted as she pulled out her weapon, falling to the ground in a heap. I want to grow stronger .. I want to make him want to take back his words and wish he died instead of saying that! She closed her eyes and wiped them tiredly. I should go clean myself up.
Nao got up and started walking towards Amai Springs, a wonderful place which was rumored to be able to heal your wounds. She reached a boulder where she decided to undress. About to take off her clothes, a shadow in front of her caught her attention. Nao walked ever so carefully so as not to startle the shadow. As she reached closer, she could see the women in the springs but also see what the shadow was.
If she wasn't mistaken, it was most probably a student from Shifting Shadows. She reached up from behind him and covered his mouth and brought him down into the bushes. "What do you think you're doing, pervert?!" she hissed, looking expectantly at him. "If you think you're going to get away with peeking at girls while they're bathing, you're dead wrong. The least you could've done was put more effort into it! Like, disguising yourself or something!"
Now that she had a better look, she saw it was Shirogane.

Nao got up and started walking towards Amai Springs, a wonderful place which was rumored to be able to heal your wounds. She reached a boulder where she decided to undress. About to take off her clothes, a shadow in front of her caught her attention. Nao walked ever so carefully so as not to startle the shadow. As she reached closer, she could see the women in the springs but also see what the shadow was.
If she wasn't mistaken, it was most probably a student from Shifting Shadows. She reached up from behind him and covered his mouth and brought him down into the bushes. "What do you think you're doing, pervert?!" she hissed, looking expectantly at him. "If you think you're going to get away with peeking at girls while they're bathing, you're dead wrong. The least you could've done was put more effort into it! Like, disguising yourself or something!"
Now that she had a better look, she saw it was Shirogane.

He pulled away from her, out of her grasp. "I know this doesn't look good," he whispered, "but it's not what you think, I swear!" He knew it didn't look good, and that he probably didn't sound very convincing, but his grandparents had raised him to be respectful... for the most part. Hoshika made her way to the mess hall, where the cook was stirring a large pot of less than mediocre dumplings. No matter, they would give her the nutrition she needed to start the day. She took a wooden bowl from a shelf, and handed it to the cook. The man didnt speak, only ladle the steaming dumplings into it and hand it back to her. Hoshika took the bowl and grabbed a pair of chopsticks from the urn containing them, leaving the mess hall. No, she would eat somewhere calmer. She wished she could of followed Deacon and Hyugan, but taking food into the training hall would be unwise. She traversed the halls until she reached her room, seperated by screens from the other ninjas rooms. Slowly and smoothly, she moves over to the window, looking out at the treetops. The feeling of being up so high is magical, a feeling like being a bird and flying above the world without even having to move. At least thats what Hoshika thought as she speared the first dumpling and brought it to her lips.

"Looks like the little duckling is all alone.." I feel strong arms on my shoulders, another man is behind me. I feel my muscles tense, preparing to kill or be killed. I am a ninja, it is what I was born to be. I dont know why, I dont know how, but that I know. The other thing I know is that these men are making a very big mistake. I try to jerk away from the man holding me, covering my face in intense fear and shock. A act I've perfected over the years, usually for less noble purposes like playing tricks on people. I feel the strong arms pull me back, and then I feel a knife on my throat. Strike one. The other man still stands in front of me. I frown, spitting out the words.
"Little duckling says leave while you still can." I growl in a low voice, and the men laugh. Strike two. One more and they both pay. The one in front of me steps closer, lowering his face to mine. His breath reeks of tobacco, and It takes all my strength not to gut him in the stomach. But what can I say? I dont like killing people that much. He's missing teeth, and his face is dripping with sweat.

In an instant my elbow was into the man behind me's abdomen, sending the stale air from his lungs with a whoosh. My other hand flies up, grabbing the knife and twisting it from his hand. I jump back, warily facing the two. The one who had the knife is on his knees, gasping. The other man growls softly, pulling out what looks like a black egg from his bag. I arch my arm and throw the knife at the man, and before he can dodge it hits his ribs, embedding inbetween two of his ribs. He goes down gasping, and by now the other mans coming towards me. I pick up a handful of dirt from the ground and throw it at his face. He jumps back as the dirt gets in his eyes, and in that instant im gone. I run away fast, not because I cant take them but because I dont want to try. After a minute I stop, hearing the pounding footsteps of one of them in the distance. Heh. How stupid it is of him to give chase. I grab a lowhanging branch and pull myself up, using a network of branches and shimmying to climb higher and higher into the sky. Then there I am, dropping down onto the platform in front of the looming gates of the shifting shadows.
"Could you open the gate please?" I smile sweetly at the huge guard, and he only nods. He knows me, I leave the shifting shadows to meditate often, and the easiest way back in is through the gate. He pulls the heavy door open, and I dash inside. First Il go to the weaponry, and then make my way to the training grounds.

Hyugan prepared himself before Deacon as students surrounded them, sure of a spectacular spar. The rules were stated clearly by Hyugan: 'Unarmed combat. Three rounds.' Which was fine by Deacon, despite the fact Unarmed combat wasn't one of his areas of special study.
"All right." He said, turning and reaching into his Kimono. There was a loud clunk and clanking as chains fell to the floor, two kusarigamas had made the noise. Deacon removed his sandals then, keeping his back turned on Hyugan put out his right arm, bending up up and making a fist. With his left arm he straightened it out and pushed out his palm, his hand completely vertical and still, fingers alinged and ready for action. Following this, he bent his right leg and pushed out his leg, creating a balanced stance.
"I hope you don't mind this. I'm not used to using hand-to-hand. This stance is from a defensive style native to the north. We can begin whenever you're ready, Hyugan. Though, I want to make a bet on this... If I win, I want you to meet me at the Amai Springs at midnight. If I lose, well... I won't." He smirked, but it was an obvious phaux expression, with no real feeling behind it, displayed purely for the eyes watching.

Nao blushed furiously, wiping her hand vigorously against her shirt. "I was training, okay?! And I find that hard to believe. I came here, wanting to relax and clean myself here but I see you, creeping in the bushes, watching the other girls bathe!" She got up with an annoyed look on her face. Grabbing him by the collar, she dragged him out to a safe distance, thrusting him away when she stopped. "You're lucky! If it weren't for me, you'd have been seriously put into intensive care by the other girls. So stay here, and don't peek!"
She turned on her heel and was about to walk back before a thought crossed my mind. What am I thinking? It's like I'm asking Shirogane to go against his stupid male instincts! She turned around, her hands on her hips. "So what was your excuse, huh?" she asked, starting to circle him. "So you really weren't going to be ecchi and peek on us girls?" She stopped and crossed her arms.
Nao wasn't going to budge until she knew Shirogane wasn't going back.

He hoped it would cause him to flinch and break guard, but to no avail. Good...
Hyugan pivoted off to the right and ducked low to strike at his opponent's ribs but it was swatted away by Deacon's left elbow. Rotating with the block, Deacon shot a piercing right toward Hyugan's jaw putting his whole body into it to generate full power. Had the blow connected, Hyugan would be laying on the mat unconscious. To his fortune, he read the move well. The Blood Moon ninja spun out of danger as Deacon's blow hit air then countered with a swinging right fist that hammered onto his shoulder blade, knocking Deacon off balance. Hyugan wanted to continue the next chain of moves but to dart straight under him and unleash a jolting elbow from below, aimed at the throat, would be an instant kill strike.
Instead, he watched as Deacon momentarily stumbled before spinning back to his defensive style. He's not bad, considering unarmed combat isn't his forte. Since I took this round, I am sure he'll come at me more aggressively in the second.

The morning air had warmed, driving the thick mist to the ground as dew by the time that Oda emerged from his quarters, dressed in black robes and trousers with tabi on his feet. He intended to head down to the ground level to walk in quiet amongst the trees while most other young men and women were training. Oda did still train, unwilling to let his lifetime of hard work fade away, but only every other day or so, to remind his body what it could do, rather then drive it to new heights.
He and Shuurin had spoken long that morning, he had a mission for her..or a errand as it were, he wanted to send her to Empire City, which was a strange request coming from the frugal man. He had informed her that he wished to commission a piece from their finest smith and had written explicit and exact details on a scroll, which he gave to her. He asked that she start out in the morning, for it would take her all day to get to the city, even if she made good time. He also asked that she keep the scroll unopened , he said that it was a surprise that he did not want to be spoiled before it was time.

Hours had passed and Kemuri's weapons were finished. The blacksmith finished early with Master Yamamoto's things, but his swords took an extra hour each.

Trees were brown blurs, obstacles were merely just steps; Kemuri was moving like the wind itself. It would probably be another twenty or thirty minutes before he arrived back home, which was incredibly fast since it would take your average runner a couple of hours. Despite his age, he was one of the fastest ninja among Shifting Shadows. His love to run had gotten him this title. When he was younger he would literally run for hours, with no destination in mind. After the Master found this out, he made him run with weights to raise his endurance, which paid off.

Three Kunai heading for Kemuri had interrupted his thought process. Skillfully flipping in the air, Kemuri dodged the Kunai, and then picked his pace back up as he landed. A loud sorry could be heard in the distance behind him. Yea, I'm definitely home now.
Coming to a stop, he prepared himself to make his ascent to Shifting Shadows. Before he did so, his eyes caught someone moving by the Tree of Decisions. Master? A smirk spread across his face. Someone challenged him to duel, huh? Kemuri knew that wasn't the case, but he still had to deliver the package, plus he planned on going there himself later.

Wanting to celebrate the mastering of his latest technique, Ken was on his way to Kyoujin Tavern. He didn't have any money of his own, so he had stole a bit from his fellow Kraken. He wore a small smile on his face as he thought of this. Saito won't miss it anyway... Flipping a gold coin in the air, he continued on his path.
"Nice coin there kid, why don't I hold it for you?"
A sigh escaped Ken's lungs as his good time was already being ruined. It seemed a rather impudent man had been watching Ken and his gold coin. And when Ken passed him and flipped it for the third time, the man snatched it from the air. He was a burly fellow and his friends were about the same size, all much larger than Ken. They were all now laughing, saying how he was an easy mark.
"And they wonder why I stay home..." Mumbling he slowly placed his hand on the hilt of his katana.
"Ha-ha! What was that little-?"
Before the man could finish his sentence, Kenny had unsheathed his katana and in an upward slash he had cut the hand that held his coin. He re-sheathed his blade before the severed hand could hit the ground. The man stood in shock as he held his wound, watching the blood spill out.
"I said: I am sorry for your ignorance. Maybe if you could have recognized me as the third arm of The Kraken, your hand would still be intact."
The men stood baffled before him, in shock of who he was and what he had just did. They were all lucky, seeing as the only reason they weren't returned to their gods, was because Ken didn't want to get blood on him; he had just changed. He knelled down to pick up the lifeless hand and remove the coin that remained clinched in its fist. "You're welcome." He casually said after he tossed the hand back to its owner.

Akikaze had heard ruckus in the background. She wasn't really studying with the young kunoichi when she was in the springs, but once the kunoichi got out, another voice was heard. A young male voice. Akikaze immediately jumped out of the water, still soak and wet, with a little steam surrounding her body. Immediately grabbing her tanto, she snuck her way around the two, moving to the male ninja's back, grasping her tanto, and holding it parallel to his neck.

Nao softened her expression a little but suddenly pointed her nose in the air, her actions also portraying annoyance. "Hmph! Let him do what he wants. If I catch you there again, I swear, I will hunt you down. Got it?" Turning to the direction of the Amai Springs, she started to walk. God! Guys and their uncontrollable urges. She walked to the flat stone which she had approached earlier and continued to take off her garments. Even though Shirogane was with Akikaze, she didn't let her guard down. Once she was sure no one was around, she sprinted before jumping into the water.
The young woman surfaced with a satisfied sigh. "Ah! The springs are so nii~ce," she cried in pleasure, absorbing the warmth from the spring. She could tell Akikaze was one of the girls who was in the spring and only one was left. I wonder who it is .. I hope it isn't a guy.. She looked around and saw the person who was in the Spring. .. Hoshika finished eating and stayed where she was. The air was cool, wafting over her with its gentle hand and making her feel truly magical. She slipped out the window, using both hands to swing herself around and onto the roof. Silently, like a cat, she scrambled up the roof to the point. In a move she had perfected over the years she swung the point of the roof down by the hidden hinges, forming a flat ledge. She had installed it soon after she had arrived here, by need of a suitable place to meditate and study. She loved practicing the one square foot arts, moving through her katas on a one foot square of ground. Shd stood on the platform, closing her eyes and breathing deeply. Then without warning she launched herself into the final seven techniques of her own personalized version of the koshiki no katas. She launched herself into iwa-nami first, or wave on the rocks. She grabbed the imaginary opponent and flung him over her back with full force, keeping her balance through the moves. She moved into sakatoshi next, practicing the moves with expert precision as the gentle air whirled around her.

I walk through the halls, making my way to my room. I slip in and close the curtain, unwrapping my armor after taking it from the shelf. I carefully buckle the straps on the left side of my chest and back plates, then swing the two around and buckled them on the right. They were made special for me, fitting perfectly against my body. I do the same with the arm and leg guards, but dont wear my helmet today. After all, all I want to do is spar. I flip open the wooden box on the end of the shelf, pulling out over a dozen kunai and placing them in locations strategic for a fight. I let my eyes float closed, thinking deeply about where I should go to spar. Then I stand up, looking around and walking wherever my heart tells me. I pass the training grounds, pass the courtyard, pass the classrooms. I keep walking, and finally I come to the end of the hall, a flat wall where the sun shines in from where the roof is missing. I grab onto the rocks, pulling myself up onto the ledge. Its hard to explain, but I just know where to go. I have no reason to go where I am, and I dont really even know where Im going. I only know which direction to go and when I make a wrong turn. I look back over the roof, seeing the really quiet girl.. Hoshika.. vigourously go through advanced katas I dont know. Huh, I didnt know the point of the roof flipped down like that.
"Ach!" My voice gets drowned out as I rush towards the ground, having fallen off the roof. I call on the element of wind and it slows my fall, but I still slam into the ground with a resounding 'oof'. My ribs and back burn, but I still get up. I walk through the woods a short ways, and stop at a tree I know all to well. The tree of desicions. I climb the trunk, using the branches to pull myself up and the wind elements to keep me from falling again. After a good few minutes of climbing I pull myself over the edge of the platform, panting. I look up and see Master Oda looking at me.
"Good day, Master." I manage to get out through my pants.

Shirogane snarled. If there was one person in the world he would most like to fight, it would be Akikaze. For some odd reason, the two had never quite gotten along. Shirogane trained for countless hours just so he could beat her- which was no easy task. As he had found out more than once over the years at Shifting Shadows, this girl was tough.
And now, here she was, just asking for a fight. Her single question was enough to get the boy ticked off. He wasn't sure what Nao thought of her, not that it mattered much to him, but it became somewhat evident she didn't think very highly of Akikaze either. Of course, that could just be Nao taking out her annoyance on her... He watched silently as Nao walked away, her nose in the air. Why girls would make such a stupid gesture remained a mystery to him.

Walking slowly through the forest Blanc comes upon the Amai springs. A smile creeping across his face as he hears a conversation between two people.

Looking out of a thicker part of the forest Blanc spots the owners of the voice Akizaze and Shirogane. Sighing under his breath he puts his hand on his face. Taking his hand off his face Blanc quickly scans the springs for anything else of importance. Seeing two more shapes in the springs Blanc creeps forward straining his eyes. Having wrapped her towl around her again, Daishisen growled to herself; too much noise for some place that was said to be restful and peacable. She stood, cloaked in the steam. The ivory skin soaked it in like a thirsty sponge. She walked back towards where her clothes were kept, and began to let the towl loose, when she heard a stick outside the gates crack. Obviously, there was someone trying to sneak up, but apparently their stealth needed a bit of work. She let the towl fall to the stones and pulled on the ornate kimono she'd come in. Fastening her obi, she snuck back through the gap she'd come through the first time, comming face-to face with Blanc.
"Well hello," she mused. "I hardly heard you comming." This was more of a taunt than a gentle lie. She figured she'd just pass by, but wasn't sure how much resistance the boy would pose.

Hoshika sighed softly, flipping the roof back to its normal point and sliding down it. Her sandles made a soft whir was they slid down the roof, and then she vaulted to the nearby tree. She cuaght it, the momentum swinging her around a full turn and having her end up hanging from the tree by both hands, hundreds of feet from the ground. She sighed, pulling herself up onto the branch and sitting, panting softly. After a few minutes she stood on the branch, looking over the closely woven net of branches. With a sigh she leaped from the branch to the next, it bending with her weight precicely as she had calculated and allowed her to launch herself to the right side, catching another branch and swinging to a stop, a good thirty feet from the school.

Well, to me the rp was dead and so I was going to declare it as so. But as long as people are posting and enjoying my rp, then it is alive. However I will be dropping out. It was my original intention not take place in this rp, but after I made such a amazing character, I just had to use him...
So just treat my characters as NPC's because I might decide to re-join later... Since they will be Important NPC's, you are still allowed to have interactions with them and god mod a little bit. I will still remain the active GM, so I will always be watching over the rp.
Even though I never made the initial post, I would like everyone to continue as if the time-jump has happened. So it is a month later. All the Krakens are supposed to be reporting back to the leader, you all posts should begin there. As for everyone else, y'all should start off in the school and preparing to go on a mission that you have heard rumors about. Whenever Neon returns I will help him develop the post to contain the necessary info about the mission.
