Surprisingly, Gemma is five feet tall, the same height as her sister. Gemma is slender. Not necessarily a stick, but slender. She's certainly got curves, especially when it comes to her chest. Gem forever has guys staring at her, especially her chest, and she's not happy about it. Her breasts certainly aren't the biggest some guys would of seen, but apparently, they are just as pleasing. Gemma is a fairly tanned girl, and truthfully, sometimes, she's gone to a beach just to tan. But, her skin's is closer to tanned then pale, anyway.Gem has lovely brown breast length hair, and yes, the highlights are natural. It's just her hair and the way it grows. With her lovely chocolate brown eyes that are framed by long lashes, Gem loves her eyes, a lot. Moving down her face and past her nose, your eyes would flicker onto her light pink lips, or as she puts it 'rose' colored. Gemma loves fashion. She won't go on and on about it, but she's got a very big opinion on the do's and don'ts of it. gem actually makes some of her clothes and doesn't like it, when people don't believe her. She's more then happy to give advice but when it comes to horrible fashion, it just makes her laugh.

But now, that she is taking drugs, Gemma falters a bit. She's become much skinnier and her chest looks even more out of proportion. Her cheeks are almost always unhealthy flushed and she has massive bags under her eyes, regarding her lack of sleep. She normally wears fairly stylish clothes but now days, especially since her sister's in a coma, she'll throw on a baggy shirt, a pair of jeans and whatever shoes she can find. She's not in the mood to care and when she does care, it doesn't improve any more at the moment. She'll wear a nice t-shirt and skirt or something, but to be honest, she's not really in the mood to care.

Personality
The normally quiet and shy girl, sitting in that corner over there, is Gemma. She's fairly honest and you won't catch her arguing with people a lot. Gemma's a sweetheart and it takes a while for her to trust people. And once she does trust people, she'll start being a little confident. She's no stranger to stuttering, it's just her shyness taking over every now and again. If something she doesn't like to talk about, comes up in conversation, she'll change the subject, straight away. No if's or buts. She hates awkward silence, and does anything to step around it, and move on.

But that was Gem, before she started doing drugs. Now, Gemma is different. She's defensive and relies highly on drugs. Hell, she couldn't afford the Drugs, so she started sleeping with a Drug Dealer, just to get dugs. Pretty silly isn't? Not to her. She wants her drugs and if she wants them, she'll get them. No one can stop her. Apart from the drug dealer..She's very grumpy and extra tired, when she doesn't have any but when she does, she's sort of the same old Jem, Just in a fake way. But now that her sister's in a coma, even on drugs, she get's emotional very quickly. But apart from that, she's still the same old drug using Gemma.She's just debating if she should drop hope for her sister. After all, it's not like Jem's going to live very long, especially if she keeps up her drug use.

History
When Gemma Simone Peterson was born on the twenty-third of October, at 3:10pm, parents Greg & Christina were very grateful. Gemma was born around two weeks early. She was meant to be born on the 8th of November and when Christina went into labor, they started panicking. Until they realized that she was perfectly healthy, just a little small. So after Gemma had to stay in hospital, for a few extra days, Christina brought her home on the twenty-eight of October, Gemma was welcome into the loving family. Alex was the perfect big sister but Heath, didn't exactly pay much attention to her. See, he was eight when she was born, so she was just a little baby and he was a 'big' boy. But Alexa was four, and Gemma loved her sister. A lot.

When Heath and Alexa fought sometimes, Gemma could do nothing apart from cry in the corner and beg them to stop. Some of the time, she was ignored because they were so obsessed with fighting. But sometimes, they actually stopped for her. When Gem was around the age of six and seven, her brother would come home, dragged by police, and Gemma was terrified. Why did those men keep on bringing her brother home? Did he do something wrong? But no one would answer her questions.

Surprisingly, Gem didn't have a lot of friends. She had some but not many. When she continued onto school, she found some friends. But she was known as Rob and Alexa's little sister. Which annoyed her. But she got through school, with a couple of friends. Gemma had her first kiss, when she was sixteen with someone who filmed the kiss, then quickly dumped her, breaking her heart when he had gotten a good video of it. Leaving Gemma to run home sobbing to her mother. But, she got over him. She's had two boyfriends since. One, lasted two months, and that started when she was seventeen,But the most recent one, lasted for two years, and she wasn't exactly shocked when it ended, just a couple of days after she turned nineteen. They weren't 'connecting' as some people would put it. They promised to still be friends, and they still are.

Until he died. They were very close friends, almost best friends. He was driving her home from work one day, and a truck crashed into the car. He got hit the hardest, and she was left, with a bleeding forehead, a bruised back and a broken arm, in the ruins of the car. She went to the funeral and sang a song for him, which ended in her sobbing her heart out. When she was fully healed, she headed out. She was on a mission. She wasn't happy. So Gem was going to try drugs. And they made her feel better. So she kept on taking them. She can't even afford them. Gemma pays for them by sleeping with people. Not that she likes to admit it of course, but a usual night for Gemma is partying, getting drunk and then sleeping with someone, which ends up with drugs in her pocket and a look of satisfaction on the man's face. But now that her sister is in a coma, her habits have gotten worse. She started to visit her brother more, and told him what she was doing. But she refused to get help, which he wanted her to do. And now here she is, almost losing hope for her sister and herself.
