Introduction
A year ago, an empire called the Geshtalian Empire began taking over the world. Opposing them was a group named the Returners. The empire's main goal was for them to harnest the power of magic and take over the world. The Returners fought back, with their Esper leader, Terra. Geshtalian's right hand man, Kefka, went and found the Floating Continent, where magic resides in. The Returners went to the Floating Continent, only to witness Kefka killing Geshtalian and him rearranging the three statues thats keeping the entire world in check. At that moment, the appocalypse happened.
The world then came to be known as The World of Ruin, where it's questioned why there's even a soul living. New monsters roamed the land, Returner member Shadow died, Celes, a former general of the Geshtalian Empire was ill and on a solitary island. Wha happened to the rest of them? They've all became members of the Cult of Kefka, however, Banon managed to escape and reform a new Returners before getting striked by Light of Judgement from Kefka, who had become God of Magic. He rules the world with an iron fist, but there's only one group of people to stop them.
And one of the people in the group is YOU!
To get accepted, your character must be of a Final Fantasy class. You can either be a Neo Returner, or a Kefka Cultist. It's your choice.

OOC Notes
The shop was quiet, Hyper felt tense. Outside, it was raining, luckily not the usual acid rain. Hyper got up from his chair, and walked to the door, and flipped the open sign to closed. Hyper then proceeded with covering up all the windows in the shop. "Just precautions." he thought. After making sure no one, anywhere, would come to the shop, Hyper opened the secret back door and descended into the city of Tzen.
Today was going to be another meeting of the Neo Returners. They're leader, Cid, never usually shows up, but he sends instructions by carrier pigeons. Usually, the leader of the meeting would be the one who owned the place.
After making sure that there was no one on the street, Hyper knocked on a wall three times. Then, a door that was disguised as a wall opened, welcoming him to adventure.

Class: Gambler
Weapons: Razor sharp cards and heavy dice
Personality: A bit air headed, he likes to leave many things to chance in battle. Thinks of everything as one big game.
Affiliation: Neo Returners
Bio: Rinku, for the most part, grew up in ignorance of the dangers of the world around him. He always played games and never really worried about anything within the cushioned life style of a noble. His parents always had whatever he needed, whenever he wanted. Of course this didn't necessarily make him pompous or conceited. He was simply innocent of the darkness spreading and growing through the land around him.
'Till one night, the apocalypse happened. Wave after wave of monsters attacked everything in sight, the Garsin manor was no exception. Few people survived, and the buildings had been left in ruin. Rinku was 15 at the time. Much of the manor still stands, in fact many people take shelter there now. But supplies were few and survival seemed impossible. Over the years, Rinku learned to play cards, more specifically scam the cult members of Kefka to have enough food and supplies to make sure everyone at his mansion survived.
He heard of the group known as the Neo Returners who were rebelling against the great King Kefka to try and over turn his rule. Rinku was very interested. Because if there was anything he learned over these three long years of hardship, it was that if you gamble big, you could win big. And to him, risking it all to save the people he cared about was all the reason he needed. He now travels to seek out this group.
