Zaira is 20 and 5'5". Her right eye is covered by her hair and freaks out if anyone tries to move it out of the way. She is a half-breed Al-Bhed, getting the brown hair from her mother's side and the blonde from her father. Although she is half-breed, she still received blonde hair with light streaks of brown. Her left eye, which is shown, is an average aquamarine colored eye without the Al-Bhed swirl pupil. Her skin is very fair(unless tanned from the Bikanel Desert), but after working and inventing, her body gets covered in grease and she doesn't really care about it. She hates wearing a lot of clothes, so she limits herself to them or loosens her halter top because she complains of how hot it is.

Personality

Zaira is usually reckless and carefree. She loves to fix and create things out of her tools and anything she can get her hands on. She is a tom-boy and loves to play blitzball whenever she can. She can be questionable and possibly rude towards others at first until she "get's used to 'em" or she becomes friends. Zaira is loyal and will more than likely go out of her way to make others happy. She is also very loud and when she becomes hyper, it is bad for others around her's sanity.
Zaira has a weakness for cats, refusing a challenge, and missing out on arguments. Zaira loves to pig out when she gets the chance, and she's a heavy sleeper.

Equipment

She always has a wrench, a small container of oil, potions, scrap items or metal she found, old rags to wipe her face or hands on, and little trinkets. She loves to collect random things. Like she says, "One dude's crap is mine now."

History

Zaira's father was an Al-Bhed mechanic who inspired her to be who she is today. She doesn't remember her mother because her parents became divorced when she was a toddler. Her sister told her that her mom was killed by Sin a little while after. Since then, even if it might not be true(Her sister fibs a lot to her), she wants Sin to eternally die. She moved various times after she moved away from her dad who lived in Bikanel Desert when she was 18. She stayed in the Calm Lands for a year, traveled, and finally settled in Besaid. At some point, she dyed her hair a darker brown color so that the blonde would drain out. She most likely dyed it in the Calm Lands.
