Name: Fade (He adopts the name Brody in social situations.)

Role: Flock member 1

Skills: Fade doesn't really know how to do much- infiltrating and gaining knowledge was his department.

Discovered Power: Phasing- Fade can literally move himself (and whatever he's touching) through solid objects at will. Of course, he doesn't have the best control over it, so he's prone to sink into the floor every once in a while (especially in his sleep). For this reason, he doesn't like to sleep on the first story of houses.

Undiscovered Power #1: Disruption- By phasing part (or all) of his body through something electronic, he can disable/inhibit it.

Undiscovered Power #2: Projection- By this point, Faze would be able to (sort of) project his original power upon another object or person in order to make it solid or, well, not solid without him actually having to come in contact with them.

History since escape: Since the escape, Fade has been really bored. At the institute he had something to work on and better himself at, but now that they're free he doesn't know what to do with himself. He generally just sits about trying to get his feet to stop phasing through the floor whenever he gets distracted.

Personality: Shy, sweet, and fearful are three traits that Brody could easily be described as having. He absolutely loves music, but that's mostly because that's really the only time he can forget where he has been and what happened in his past. He isn't easily scared, but when he is, he will conceal it to the best of his abilities and fight back. He's very self-sacrificing and would do anything for the few people he cares about because he doesn't want to lose anyone.

Appearance: Standing at 4'10" tall and weighing around 110 pounds, Fade is insanely small compared to most people his age. Even though he (being an avian mutant) physically ages faster than the average human, his growth seems to have been stunted, leaving him looking little older than he actually is. His thin build and childish features gain him no points to prove his age and worth, and the fact that he looks confused most of the time doesn't help in the least. His dark hazel eyes are lit by auburn highlights that spike around his pupils. White-blond hair always seems to fall messily in his face, but he doesn't seem to mind. Although he may seem frail and useless, Fade is very agile and flexible and surprisingly strong.

Equipment: iPod (pilfered from a random teenager he came across), notebook, various pencils, a pencil sharpener, a travel sketchbook, and some art supplies. He keeps these within a black drawstring bag.
