Introduction
After the Elric brothers went through the Gate of Truth, destroying it with the help of Roy Mustang, the land of Amesttris began to rebuild itself. The military had alot to answer for, and for a time they were afraid of a revolt. But things finally setteled down, and peace fell over the land once more, with Roy Mustang being premoted to Fuhrer in the place of Bradley.
But that was fifty years ago, and since things times have changed. The knowledge of alchemy has spread further and wider than expected, and some people who should have never known such and art have begun to use it for evil. In the deserts beyond Reole a group of people have gathered, created and underground laboratory, and are doing experiments on humans. Not only are they trying to create the philosiphers stone, but they are creating an army of human chimera to ensure that no one stops them before their task is complete. They have begun sending their human chimera into the small towns and the downtown parts of the cities to snatch up more people for their experiments. If they are a good physical specimen, they are recruited into the army, otherwise, they are sacrificed in attempts to create the stone.
And, as if the threat of evil doers with an ever expanding army seeking out the ultimate power of the philosiphers stone wasn't bad enough, there are rumors circulating of a new batch of Homunculi have been reported. It seems that, even after the years of lecturing and the new laws put in place, people have still been attempting human transmutation. It is, at the moment, unclear weather or not they are in league with those already seeking the stone or if they have their own motives.
In any case, the military is recruiting new State Alchemists to place in a special unit. This unit will be sent out to find the base of the army and any information they can about it, as well as hunt down the Homunculi. These alchemists have been put through a rigerous test unlike anything they've experienced before. And some of those that survived still were not good enough to be accepted into the group. Now those alchemists dubed good enough have been placed on a train, bound for New Reole, where they will be staying at a hotel while they search the city for any clues.

OOC Notes
It was a warm summer day and the light shown in on Ben as he sat by one of the several windows of the train which was hurtling the other members of SUSA to New Reole. Outside ciry gave way to small towns, then farms and fields of crops and cattle, and finally all of that began to give way to sand and stone. But Ben noticed none of this, because, as usual, he had his nose in a book. This particular novel was written by Roy Mustang himself, in his later years. Here, he recounted his time with the military, as well as the events he was involved in with the Elric brothers.
There was a knock on the door of small compartment he was in. It was meant for two people, but so far he was alone.
"Yes?" Ben asked, closing the book and setting it aside.
"Cart service." came the voice of a woman outside before the door opened. "Would you like anything? A drink or a snack? The military eats for free on this train you know."
"Oh, a drink please." Ben said with a small smile, taking out a few coins and giving them to her as he takes his drink. When she tries to refuse he only smiles again. "Please, take them. A tip, if it makes you feel better. I don't need any money."
"Oh, well, thank you dear." She says with a smile as she closes the door and heads off down the hall of the car.
Ben laughs a little to himself. The military controlled everything, especially the trains. It was their main means of travel, so the tracks were like veins, the trains like blood. If you thought about it, Amestris was a living thing. In this context, Ben felt like some sort of antibody. Looking out the window he winced, then touched his hands together and wiped his eyes, which became covered darkness as the glass of them tinted, making it easier for him to gaze out now at the scenery as it whipped by outside.

He walked in and sat relaxed closeing his eyes, To anyone walkin past he would've looked to be sleeping but he wasn'y he was listening to everything going on around him, He smiled and opened his eyes, Looking out the train window. As the grass rolled past them he smiled once more and closed his eyes again.
