Description
You can almost tell how innocent Lottie is, just by looking at her. She has big sky blue bambi eyes, that are usually the first things people notice about her. They are bright, and stand out against her ivory coloured skin. She has pale blonde waves, that spiral down to her elbows. Her skin looks perfectly even and untouched to most, but hiding benieth her clothing are brutal scars that mar her ribcage. She is very self conscious about her scars, and is always trying to completely cover them. She's quite petite, standing at a mere 5'1" and weighing in at 110lbs. She has a delicate frame and an hourglass frame, that she often shyly covers up. She isn't one to show off.
{"I'm certainly not perfect."}
Personality
{Shy, Outgoing, Intelligent, Loving, Selfless}
Lottie is often known at the school sweetheart. She's quick to flash her shy smile, and often is quite easily flustered. She can be shy meeting strangers, especially in large groups, but she warms up quickly. She is generally very polite, and just has a way of making everyone feel special. Perhaps it's her easygoing nature or her gentle demeanor, but her presence generally is very soothing. She holds herself like a lady, although as she gets comfortable she's quick to let out a witty remark. She is very kind, even to perfect strangers. Even though at first she may seem a little reserved, she would be the first person to give you the shirt off her back. She will happily give, and ask for nothing in return. She is often viewed as being quite noble, although she would never be a snob about it. She just wants to make people happy, is all. Although this isn't always a good thing- she really doesn't know how to tell people 'no' and will essentially let them walk all over her. Yet still, she will smile at them and offer them just the same warm, maternal affection that she does every other person. She is hard to upset, and seems to be able to take anything in stride. She seems to have a kind thing to say about everyone, and is definitely someone to come to if you needed to talk of just vent. She would listen for hours, with no judgments or a single cruel thought. In her friend group, she is often called 'the moral one'.
But when Lottie is with Derek, Marius, Lucas, or (Girl 5) she is much more open and bright. She loves to tease them, and engage them in witty banter. She enjoys pushing their buttons, but would never go far enough to actually hurt them. She just loves making them smile. She shows them the same affection that she does to everyone else, although with them it is more intense but not overbearing or suffocating. After all, she loves them both with all her heart- although obviously in completely different ways. She would do anything for either of them, and is quick to remind them just how much she loves them. With Marius, she if often like a mother to him even though he is older than her. Since he often tries to suppress him emotions, she is often the only one who can coax them out with little to no effort. But with Derek, she is head over heels in love with him. She loves and accepts every part of him- she would never ask him to change for her. She is very tender towards him, and although she loves to push his buttons if he told her to do something she wouldn't think twice. She trusts him completely. She does not tolerate people trying to break them up, or start things between them. She definitely isn't one to pick a fight or hurt someone, but she won't hesitate to put Marius in his place if he dares speak ill of Derek.
As many are quick to notice, Lottie is also very intelligent. She remembers things very easily and figures difficult things out with ease. She picks up on little things that other would overlook, and once she is on a problem she won't give it up until she's figured out every little detail. Once she's absorbed in something, she throws everything that she has into it. She loves challenging puzzles, and really anything that stimulates her intellectually.

History
Charlotte Beatrice Damron was born in a wealthy British town. Her father was a wealthy, yet down to earth man from a very wealthy family. Her mother was one of the most well-known ballerinas in the nation. They were madly in love when they married, and had Marius. Their love never faded in the slightest. They raised their children right, and did their best to expose them to other social classes at their equals, sure to stress that they were not above anybody. This gave both of their children a sense of humility. They also grew up next to an equestrian farm. Even as a child, Charlotte would go over and interact with the horses as much as she could. She always seemed to have a way with them. Marius would often tag along, mostly to make sure she was safe. Although he could barely watch as she would fly by on a beat that could easily break her spine with little to no effort. By the time she was eight, she was part of their elite riding team. She had grown quite close to the woman who ran the farm, who had taken a real liking to Lottie and Marius. Whenever they were upset or needed to talk, they would go to her. She was always like a second mother to them.
Their house was always so full of love. Sure, Marius an Lottie would play fight and argue like siblings and sometimes their parents would get frustrated but they did an amazing job raising their children. Sure, they were privileged but those kids had to work. If they wanted something, they had to earn it. But you would never find a family that was so close knit and loving. They couldn't see it at the time, but Marius and Lottie pretty much had a dream life. They had everything going to them.
But one day, that all changed. In just one second, it was all gone forever. Lottie's parents had been driving her to a riding competition. She was quietly reading in the back, while her parents affectionatly spoke to each other. You could just hear the love that they had for one another in their voices. She was so at peace. But out of nowhere, a car crashed into them head-on. She didn't know at the time, but the other driver was drunk. Her parents were both killed on impact and her body was a wreck. She had a collapsed lung, and her body was covered in gashes and bits of glass. Her ribcage had essentially been crushed. She was in intensive care, and her chances of survival were very slim. Her brother, only fourteen, spent every waking hour by her side. Although he would probably deny it now if you asked, he was sobbing violently pretty much the whole time. He lost both of his parents, and now he was going to lose his little sister. Sweet, innocent little Lottie. Why would this happen to them?! He gave her blood transfusions and she was in the hospital for months, but Charlotte survived.
The siblings pleaded to be placed with the older woman that they had bonded with, the owner of the horse farm that they had pretty much grown up on, but they were forced to move to America to live with their aunt from their mother's side. She lived on some isolated island, and neither of the children had been to America for long than a week but now they were being forced to live there. Their aunt took one look at them, and turned her nose up at them. "Pretty little things, just like your mother. You won't have to work a day of your life- everything will just be handed to you on a silver platter." She pretty much spat at them, looking rather disgusted. For the four years that they lived with her, it was filled with a lot of fighting and anxiety. Their aunt seemed to hate them- simply because she was bitter at her sister for the easy life that she had lived. They were never really given time to grieve- they were forced to shove it all down and live in a house where they were absolutely hated. Marius and Lottie grew even closer, and Marius grew impossibly protective of his little sister. She was all he had left, and there was not way and hell that anyone was taking her away from him. As soon as he turned eighteen, he was granted custody of her and they moved out together.
Lottie always got perfect grades, and had no trouble finding a job with horses when she moved. She joined the orchestra on cello, and really did her best to really get involved in her school. She wanted to get into a good collage, and really do something important with her life. She because best friends with Lucas almost immediately, due to their similar personalities. Once she befriended him, (Girl 5) just sort of came along as a package deal. The three became inseparable, and (other than Marius and her aunt) they were the only ones that knew her entire past. Sure, people knew that she was from Britain from her heavy accent but other than that nobody really knew much about her. When her teacher pushed her to tutor Derek, she was quite hesitant. She was doing to well- and he had trouble written all over him. She didn't like to judge, but when she first started tutoring him she half expected him to try to start something with her or sell her drugs or something. But he was... just a person like her. In fact, he was better than her. He had a heart of gold, he just didn't show it to everyone. She fell for his smile, and the way he talked when he put down his mask. When she saw the real him, she couldn't help but fall in love.

{"Character Quote Here"}
If I fell in love with you
Would you promise to be true
And help me understand
Cos I've been in love before
And I found that love was more
Than just holding hands
If I give my heart to you
I must be sure
From the very start
That you would love me more than her
If I trust in you oh please
Don't run and hide
If I love you too oh please
Don't hurt my pride like her
Cos I couldn't stand the pain
And I would be sad if our new love was in vain
So I hope you see that I
Would love to love you
And that she will cry
When she learns we are two
Cos I couldn't stand the pain
And I would be sad if our new love was in vain
So I hope you see that I
Would love to love you
And that she will cry
When she learns we are two
If I fell in love with you
