Description

Image
~ Darcy Smith ~

The Basics.
Any Nicknames: No proper nicknames, maybe someone might call her Darce, or Dee now and again, but in general, just Darcy.

Age: Sixteen

Gender: Female

Grade: Junior

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual, though would be willing to go bisexual for the right person.

Clique: She doesn't have a clique, really, she tends to just hang out with anyone she likes.

Appearance.
Height: 5'6

Weight: 109lbs

Fashion Sense: Darcy's usual outfit consists of high waisted shorts with tights or skinny jeans, a simple top and a hollister jacket, as well as some converse shoes. She doesn't really have a specific label to her style; She'll just wear whatever she considers nice. She wears a bit of make-up; Concealer, lip gloss and mascara as her daily routine, adding in eyeshadow, foundation and eyeliner when actually going out somewhere special.

Scars | Tattoos | Etc: She has a tattoo on the back of her neck of the infinity sign, and it was one of the most painful experiences in her life. That being said, she didn't really go through many painful experiences. Her friends cousin was a tattoo artist, and agreed to give a tattoo to the fourteen year old girl.

Overall Appearance:
Darcy would probably be considered quite pretty. Her skin is quite pale, but has an almost soft look to it, making her seem fragile. She is slim, which is surprising for how much she eats, but her fast metabolism really helps, as one look at her will tell you she does not play any sports, as she has absolutely no muscle. Well, that being said, she has a good aim, and also enjoys badminton. Her hair is naturally brown, though she has dyed it so many times no one can really remember anymore, her hair colour ranging from black to a blonde so bright it's almost white. At the moment, it is a fiery red colour, and falls to just below her shoulders in neat waves, though it is rare you will see it like this as she usually curls or straightens it. She has stormy green eyes and full lips, and her face could be described as either heart or oval shaped. She has C Cup breasts and little freckles.

Personality.
Habits: Darcy has a few habits, though she is unaware of them herself, which are fidgeting with her hands when anxious, impatient or nervous and playing with her hair when bored.

~ Being Broke

Favourite Subject/Why: Probably Art, simply because it's mostly practical and so you can walk around and speak during class, and it's also one of the only subjects she's good at. She also enjoys computers, because she already knows everything, and so she just spends her time surfing the internet.

Least Favourite Subject/Why: French. She's terrible at it, and the teacher made it clear from day one that she hates Darcy. Why is one subject not enough?

Hobbies:
~ Reading
~ Surfing The Internet
~ Texting
~ Drawing
~ Writing
~ Eating - Yes, she considers this a hobbie.
~ Badminton
~ Listening To Music

Overall Personality:
Darcy is a friendly girl, though sometimes a bit too chatty to the point of being annoying, and her loud mouth can often get her into trouble. She is not very good at most subjects because she is too lazy to pay attention in class, and spends her time talking, making her not one of the teacher's favourite students. She loves to come up with great come-backs and witty remarks, and uses sarcasm 90% of the time, the other 10% being swear words. She is trustworthy in most cases, but if you tell her your crush, she won't tell anyone, but she sure as hell will tease you about it. She isn't that sensitive towards insults, and tends to brush everything off, unless she hears more than one person say it, as then it may be true.

Background.
Friends: Mike Ignate, Lacey Holden, Cara Williams, Rosalynd Sorbie.

Best Friends: Mike Ignate

Relationship Status: She's a single pringle that's ready to mingle. < Ignore that I'm weird.

Family: An older brother, Josh (19), an older sister Cora (19) and a younger sister, Bella (12), as well as her mother and father, Annie and Phil.

Enemies: Demi, and,uh.. she wouldn't say she hates Dehlilah but..

Overall History: Darcy had a simple, happy childhood. She was born July 2 to Annie and Phil Smith, a nurse and teacher, meaning that they had enough money to raise the child properly. Her house was about a mile from the city, but up a small hill, so it was away from all the constant traffic noise. It was a nice home, a two storey house with a garden at the side, three storey if you included the top floor, which was just one big room with a low roof. This was later converted into a giant playroom for the children, when Bella was born. She had two older siblings, twins Cora and Josh, who were three years older than her. They each had a room on the second floor, Josh's painted blue, Cora's green and Darcy's green. For the first few years of her life, Darcy looked up to Cora, before making her own way in life. When Darcy was four, Bella was born, the fourth and final Smith child. Bella and Darcy had to share a room, up until last year when Darcy finally decided to get out of the house and go to boarding school, where she was paired up with, of course, a roommate. How typical.

~ Darcy Smith ~
13:30 - Canteen

Darcy sat down at the table, biting into her chicken wrap, which she had gotten from the school shop. The tables in the canteen were rectangular, and were like picnic tales, with the benches attached to them, though most students sat so that their back leant against the table, facing the table beside them, eating the food off their laps. Which is exactly how Darcy sat, facing a group of about six girls, biting hungrily into the chicken.

She didn't even know the group very well, they were just girls in her year. Her closest friend, Jessica, had moved to a different school last year when her parents said they wanted her close to home, so Darcy was left without a best friend for the time being. She did have Mike, but of course, he couldn't be seen hanging out with her.

It made her feel annoyed sometimes, knowing that he almost felt ashamed to be friends with her. But she understood it, in a way. She had never been high enough on the popularity ladder to actually care about falling down, but Mike had obviously tried for a while to build his reputation, and wasn't going to let it fade away just because of Darcy. That didn't mean it still didn't annoy her, though.

She flicked through her phone as she ate, ignoring the other girls who were complaining about how much homework they had in French. Someone must have said something funny, because they all burst out laughing. Darcy ignored them though as she finished off her lunch.

OOC: You may now post! It is 13:30, meaning all the students should be in the canteen. I shall be the one to decide when lunch is over, but if you wish for it to end, or keep going for a while, then you can add something to the end of your post (an OOC comment) to tell me, or post in the actual OOC. That's it, I think, any questions let me know! Oh, and they only figured out their room mates that morning, before that they were all staying in separate rooms, because the freshmen only arrived yesterday (Monday). So, they haven't met them yet, or if they already knew them, haven't shared their room yet. They will go to their rooms after school.

Dehlilah stood at the counter of the school shop she smiled warmly at the cashier who's eyes were currently glued on her sheer top. She sighed in slight annoyance but never lost her winning smile. She ordered her a turkey and cheese sandwhich and a latte, and after paying for it and adding vanilla powder and extra sugar, just the way she liked it. She took a sip and smiled as the warm liquid warmed up her whole body instantly. She picked up her phone and texted Mike:
To: Mike <3
From: Dehlilah
Message: Hey Baby, I'm at the canteen I didn't know what you wanted so I picked up a turkey sandwich with cheese (That's still your fave right?)
Love Ya

She slid her phone back in her pocket and looked for him in the room. As she searched she waved at a few friends. A wave here, a smile there, a point here, a wink there; the usual. She twirled her hair around her fingers, which she curled that morning, since she knew Mike loved it when she curled her hair. She found a seat dead smack in the middle of the cafeteria with the jocks and cheerleaders. She smiled and chatted with her friends. One of the girls gushed about how much she loved her outfit.

She looked across the canteen and saw Darcy there and smirked. One of the girls said a joke about her and Dehlilah laughed lightly. She looked around for her best friend Demi. Demi and her had been best friends since freshman year and were inseparable even though they constantly argued. She shrugged and continued to look for Mike.

Cara Williams

Cara paid the cashier for her Caesar salad and bottle of water and turned to face the lunch room. She narrowed her eyes slightly, scanning the lunch room for a familiar face. She spotted Dehlilah. She wasn't planning on sitting with the Popular's... but if it came to sitting alone or sitting with the Popular's, she would choose the latter. She wasn't an outcast, and she even got along with most of the Popular's. Plus, sitting alone would be a new low for her. She liked other people, and hated being alone.

Cara walked over to the condiment counter. She poured a little dressing onto her salad and grabbed a fork from the silverware bin. She turned back to the lunch room, and continued searching. She screwed the cap off her water bottle and took a sip. And then... she spotted Darcy. She smiled to herself, she liked Darcy. She walked across the lunchroom over to the table that Darcy was sitting at.

"Hey Darcy." She gave her a friendly smile. "Um...you wouldn't mind me sitting with you, would you?" She asked her. She hoped she would say yes. She thought she would, she knew Darcy was a nice girl.

Ashley sat quietly on the floor in the corner of the lunch room, one knee up against her chest, game-boy in both hands. She wore an over-sized black t-shirt and old looking sweatpants, and sat almost perfectly still, aside from the slight movement of her thumbs and a steady, nervous breathing. She kept her head down slightly, letting her long hair drape slightly over her eyes to hide her face from the intimidating group of students that sat in front of her, enjoying their lunch.

Being a freshman, and having just drove in this morning, Ashley didn't know anyone, and defaulted to her reclusive nature with the hopes that she would be able to ignore the huge crowd of strangers she was supposed to be a part of. Despite her desire to escape from reality, Ashley couldn't help but keep glancing up every couple of minutes with her eyes.

Hearing the group next to her burst into laughter at someone's apparently humorous comment, Ashley looked up again, and was about to look down again when she spotted a face she thought she recognized. After a few moment of staring, Ashley realized it must be that Cara girl who was supposed to be her roommate or something. Ashley had only seen a picture but figured it was probably her.

Ashley had never had a room-mate before and kind of disliked the thought of it... ever since she found out the boarding school her aunt was sending her to made her share a room. After a few more moments, she sighed, getting up slowly, and decided she probably ought to meet her at least, considering she had to live with her and all.

Silently she walked over and sat down across the table from Cara and the other girl she was talking too. She wanted to say something, but wasn't sure what, and ended up just focusing back down on her game-boy and letting her hair drape back down once again over her face.

Rosalynd Sorbie
Rosa shoved her notebook in her locker and made her way to the canteen. So far school hadn’t managed to put her in a shitty mood, which borderline impressive. Though this probably had to do with the fact she had ditched her two first classes; maths and english, choosing sleep over her two least favorite class. She had shown up just in time for PE, being well rested of course. Though when she decided to sleep in she hadn’t realized that everyone would be finding out their dorms today. Also that she’d miss hassling the new freshmen in morning. Back to the main point though, she wasn’t to worried about not knowing who she was rooming up with. She’d just ask around, someone would know.

Arriving in the canteen, Rosa got herself a chicken and lettuce roll before choosing where she’d sit. She nodded and gave a blunt hello to Darcy as she passed both her and Cara sitting together, moving to the outskirts of the Canteen. She didn’t care all that much for Cara, and well, she wasn’t all buddy, buddy with Darcy. She saw the populars, jocks and whatnot, sitting together, she could have easily joined them. She didn’t though, she was friends with a lot of them, but there was a reason she wasn’t a part of their clique. Besides the two people she knew the best in that clique were Mike and Dehlilah, but that seemed to be a having a couple moment. That and she wasn’t nearly self-conscious enough to worry about how people would look at her if she sat alone.

She ended up choosing a seat at an empty bench, where her back was facing the way and see could watch everything going on. Unwrapping her lunch, she ripped off a bit and popped it into her mouth. She watched everything going on in the canteen, waiting for something exciting to happen and hoping that lunch didn’t pass too quickly.

Jacob Preston
Jay was lounging on a couple of steps he had stumbled , quite a distance away from the canteen and the business that usually surrounded lunch. The sun that was shining down on him had made him lazy, he was pulled from his daydreams by his phone in his back pocket though. He briefly looked at the text he had received from Lacey, his best friend, before somehow managing to pull himself up off the steps. He didn’t bother replying though, he’d just go see her in person. Walking into the canteen, it didn’t take him long to find her, she was the one sitting at an empty table, writing in a notebook with earphones in.

Walking towards her though he passed Cara and Darcy. “Hey you two,” He said to them as a friendly greeting, before giving a friendly wink to Cara. He and her were fairly good friends, who hanged out from time to time. Not to mention she was gorgeous, hey, he was a guy, he couldn’t help but notice. Looking across the table he saw, a girl that he presumed was a freshman. Freshmen weren’t exceeding hard to pick out. As a general rule of thumb, they were people Jay had never seen before, which was obvious because he knew almost everybody. Not that he a busy body, or was friends with everybody, he was just a friendly and open guy. They also generally looked uncomfortable and out of place. This is normally where Jay would have made a friendly introduction but the girl was hunched over her game-boy. She also looked to be concentrating on what she was doing and he didn’t want to distract her. Giving Cara and Darcy one last smile he continued walking towards Lacey, he trusted the two girls to be friendly enough with the freshman.

As he approached Lacey’s table, Jay opened the packet of chips he was holding and put them down on the table in front of her. “Sorry, It’s not gourmet, it’s all a had and I can’t be stuffed getting up and getting anything else.” Jay said grinning at his best friend. He had seen her in the midst of writing a poem on her notepad, but he didn’t try to read it over her shoulder, if she wanted him to read it, she’d say so. “So, how’s school treating you so far?” He asked as he reached for one of those folded type chips from the packet he had laid on the table. “Snag a good roommate?”

Jay had gotten Mike, the soccer dude. Jay didn’t mind all that much about who he got roomed with though, he had the ability of getting along with just about anybody. Even though it seemed like he was that odd number student who got roomed with someone from another year level. Him and Mike hadn’t talked much lately but it wasn’t like he was pining for conversation with the boy. Besides, Mike was always much better conversation away from his jock friends anyway. He looked over at Lacey though thinking of the girls in her level that she might have gotten roomed with. Now Jay doesn’t claim to understand the ways of girls, in any way shape or form. He did figure though that he knew Lacey well enough to assume she wouldn’t have of been bothered that much by who she was roomed with.

Cara turned as she heard a familiar voice say "Hey you two." A grin appeared on her face when she saw that it was Jacob. My God, he is sexy. She thought to herself. At the moment, she was pretty sure she and Jacob were just friends, but she was going to have to change that. She gave him a slight wave, and he shot her a friendly wink. Her heart skipped a beat and her smile got even wider, as she tried to hide her blushing cheeks.

After Jacob walked away, she noticed a girl sitting by herself at the table next to Darcy's. She was totally absorbed in her Gameboy, and it was hard to see her face. But she did look a little familiar. Where have I seen her before? She wondered to herself. Realization hit her, this was one of her new roommates. She bit her lip, wondering if she should talk to her. She didn't want to disturb her, but she didn't want to be rude. She debated the issue in her head.

Dehlilah watched Mike and his friends throw food like little kids and lightly chuckled. The cheerleaders quickly fired back though. She decided to stay out of it because 1. she didn't eat lunch and 2. she was wearing a sheer top. She smiled as she ducked behind Mike. Not that that lasted long which was expected because the boys always came before her and she was used to it.

And just as she ducked behind him the girls dumped juice on the boys, and her. She gasped as the cold juice hit her.
"What the hell?!" She screamed, not caring if the whole cafeteria heard her. She watched mike keep laughing and throwing food and her annoyance hit the roof. He just laughed and ignored it . Her top was soaked and her bra was totally showing through now.

Mike stopped, still unaware of the damage done and joked around about her clothes and how they should run. All the jocks stopped suddenly, now that they realized how much damage they did. One of the boys, Keith, walked up to her and said "Oh gracious captain take pity on my soul and forgive me for what I have done." Then he kissed her hand and Mike started laughing. Dehlilah just glared at him and rolled her eyes. She almost forgot about her shirt until one of the girls gasped loudly "Oh My Gawd your shirt is see through."
Dehlilah blushed brightly and covered her chest. It wasn;t that she was ashamed, I mean she was very well endowed but it was embarrassing nonetheless. She suddenly realized everyone's eyes on her and blushed even brighter as she spotted familiar faces.

Cara watched as Jacob and Lacey left the Canteen, and Jacob had his arm around Lacey. Her heart sank. She wished that was her. She sighed, biting her lip sadly. Cara ran her fingers through her hair, set her salad down on the table, then turned and headed off toward the bathroom. Once in the bathroom, Cara walked inside the stall and locked it behind her. She leaned against the stall door, shutting her eyes. She took a deep breath. She was roommates with Lacey, maybe she could to talk to her about Jacob later that night, and find out whether Lacey liked him. That sounded like a decent plan to her and she began to calm down.

Cara unlocked the stall door and went over to the sink. She looked at her face in the mirror, applied a coat of lip gloss, then exited the bathroom. She walked back over to the table Darcy was sitting at, and glanced again at the girl playing Gameboy, before sitting down.

Despite all her efforts to appear to be focused on her game, she couldn't help but remain fixated on the room around her, especially now that she was actually sitting at the table next to some upperclassmen. Also, the game she was playing was some really stupid game on a game-boy color that she hadn't touched in years, and was the only console she was able to dig out of her still unpacked car. Intentionally keeping her head down, she fixated her eye's through her hair, watching all that went on around her. Some guy walked by, and Cara seemed interested in his noticing her for some reason, and stared in his direction for a suspiciously long amount of time.

Ashley sighed. She knew she would have to speak up and initiate a conversation with this future roommate of hers. She finally decided to say something when Cara suddenly got up and went to the bathroom, leaving Ashley awkwardly alone with this other girl at the table. Ashley slouched further in her seat and pretended not to have noticed anything.

Finally, Cara emerged from the bathroom, looking at Ashley before sitting down. Now she had to say something. Without pausing her game or even getting the nerve to look up, Ashley spoke, in a nervous half-whisper.

"Who was that guy? You know him or something?"

Immediately she regretted the statement, not only was that a completely awkward way to start a conversation, but it also revealed that she had, in fact, been watching Cara the entire time. She turned her attention back on her video game, kind of hoping Cara hadn't heard her over all the noise in the room.

13:45 - Canteen

"Hey Darcy." Darcy glanced up, where Cara was standing. "Um...you wouldn't mind me sitting with you, would you?"
"No, of course not," Darcy grinned at her, moving over to make some space on the bench. She finished off her chicken wrap, smiling at her friend.

“Hey you two," a male voice said. Darcy glanced upwards to where Jacob was passing, giving Cara a wink as he walked by. Darcy teasingly nudged Cara's shoulder, grinning at her, who seemed to be glancing over at a girl on her gameboy, sitting by herself.

Some commotion started over by the popular crowd, and suddenly Dehlilah was covered in juice. "What the hell?" she screamed loudly, making the majority of the students in the canteen turn to face her. Juice covered her top, making it pretty see-through. Mike, after laughing for a few seconds, took of his sports jacket and wrapped it around Dehlilah before escorting her from the hall. Darcy shrugged off the aching in her chest, smiling brightly at Cara.

"Anyway, do you know who you're rooming with?" she asked, smiling cheerfully.

Dehlilah watched with surprise when Mike stopped laughing and glared at his friends. She smiled and blushed at the same time as she watched him rub the back of her neck. She smiled, since usually Mike would never yell or get upset with their friends because it was bad for his rep. She hated to admit it but usually his reputation came before her. Their friends seemed equally surprised since Mike was super easy going.

"Its ok babe," She said leaning on him for support. She let him put his soccer jacket on her as they left the canteen. She sighed, knowing he would blame himself for her shirt. "Thank you," She whispered as they left. She bit her lip, to no evail hoping it would hide her blush.
"Um babe can we just go to my room," She said in an innocent voice. She knew he would agree so she led him back to her room. She glanced back in the canteen to raise an eyebrow at Darcy when Mike wasn't looking.

Cara glanced over at Darcy, smiling slightly at her. "I'm rooming with Lacey and...some girl I've never heard of before. She must be a freshman. Her name's Ashley." She looked over at Gameboy Girl and wrinkled her nose, deciding that the girl was probably Ashley. She shifted her gaze back to Darcy. "What about you, who are you rooming with?"

A sound came from Gameboy Girl's direction, and Cara snapped her attention to her. Her voice was quiet, but it sounded as if she asked Cara "who was that guy" and if she knew him. Cara wrinkled her nose. "Oh, Jacob?" She asked. Cara wondered if she had made her attraction to him completely obvious, and her cheeks blushed a reddish pink. "Jacob is..." she bit her lip. "Just a friend of mine." For now. She thought to herself. Cara looked back over at Darcy, wondering if she too had noticed her looking at Jacob. Thinking it about caused her blush to deepen, and she bit into her lip harder.

14:00 - Canteen

Darcy's heart froze for a second as Dehlilah turned her head and raised her eyebrows accusingly at her. She looked down immediately, feeling her cheeks burn red. She knows. She knows that I like Mike.

"-rooming with Lacey and...some girl I've never heard of before. She must be a freshman. Her name's Ashley." Darcy looked up as Cara answered her question. Lacey was nice, and a freshman would be easy enough to ignore. Darcy would trade room mates any day. She noticed her gaze turn to the girl playing on her gameboy, before adding in, "What about you, who are you rooming with?"

"Err, Dehlilah.. Dehlilah Dane." Darcy bit her lip as she said this, looking down at her purple converse. She kicked her legs back and forth awkwardly. She wasn't looking forward to sharing a room with a girl who seemed to hate her.

When she looked up again, Cara was talking to the girl with the gameboy, blushing about something. Darcy focused her attention, trying to hear what she was blushing about. "...Just a friend of mine." Damn, she must have missed the start of the conversation.

The bell rang, signalling that everyone was to go get their books for their next class. Darcy stood up, brushing up her ripped jeans and purple lace top, before grabbing her bag and getting ready to leave.

The bell has rang, meaning finish up your conversation in your next post or so, and then go get your books for the next class, depending what grade you are in. Junior and Senior lockers are downstairs, Freshman and Sophomore are upstairs.

Cara grimaced slightly when Darcy mentioned that her roommate was Dehlilah. She then gave her a sympathetic look. The bell rang suddenly and Cara stood up from the table. She grabbed her salad and threw it in the nearest trash can, but kept her bottle of water, which she hadn't even opened yet. She slung her purse over her shoulder and sent a friendly "See you later" wave and smile in Darcy and Gameboy Girl's direction. Then she turned and headed to her locker.

Cara opened her locker and crammed the books from French, History, and Geography into her locker, then grabbed her stuff for business, art, and science. She sighed slightly, wishing the day would go a little faster, then she closed her locker and locked the lock. Just two more hours left of school today. Cara reminded herself. She turned and walked in the direction of her next class, business.

Dehlilah giggled at Mikes comment as they walked. She nodded occationally at Mike's friends. But as Delilah was walking down the hall to her room when she heard Demi's motherly scold.
"here she comes" she said giving mike a sympathetic shrug knowing Demi would blame him? And she was right. Soon Delilah was being dragged away by Demi and diced into a shower. She smiled at Mike and shrugged before entering her room and taking a shower.
"Demi nobody did it we were just goofing off," She said rolling her eyes as she showered. when she got out she applied light makeup and straightened her hair so it was pin straight and hung down to her waist. She changed into a park pink dress and threw on a jean blazer and some nude heels. She loved that outfit since it Was sexy yet sophisticated. She sighed as she put her hoops on and flopped on her bed. Which was currently decked out in layers if covers and pillows and stuffed animals.

"Your so mean o Mike by the way," Dehlilah said throwing a penguin stuffed animal at Demi, from her and Mike's date at the aquarium.
She glared at Darcy's stuff across the room. It all seemed generic. Her and Darcy's stuff seemed to clash completely. She couldn't understand why mike even noticed her when he was dating Dehlilah.

14:01 - Lockers

Everyone slowly dispersed from the canteen, Darcy trying not to get crushed by the swarm of students making their way to their lockers. She walked along the corridors, smiling at a few acquaintances every so often, until she reached her locker.

The girl crouched to reach the bottom locker, which was just below a tall senior, who's name she wasn't certain of. She glanced at the time table she had stuck to the inside of her locker, notifying her that business, art and science were next. She almost groaned aloud as she stuffed the books into her bag, the weight almost too much to ear. One week into school, and she already had a ton of homework.

The boy who owned the locker above her, which according to the slip of paper telling her who the locker belonged to was named Eoin, was leaning against his locker, talking to a couple of his friends. She stumbled past them, accidentally bumping into one of them who replied with, "Sorry, didn't see you there." She opened her mouth, about to say, "It's okay, no one does. I'm practically invisible," but let it go.

She really felt like talking to Mike now, though of course he as probably hanging out with Dehlilah. If one thing could benefit from sharing a room with her, maybe she would get to see Mike more often. The thought of him made her blush, and she kept her head down. She felt so lonely now that Jessica had moved. No one ever considered her feelings - she was always the go to girl when you're upset, who would listen to you, but who was she supposed to go to when she was upset? She would be too shy to talk about her 'problems' anyway.

She followed a few girls she recognised from her year to business, and patiently waited outside the classroom for the bell to ring.

Demi quickly glared at Mike's back as soon as the boy left with her best friend, she groaned in frustration. If only she could open her best friend's eyes and show her how incompetent her current squeeze is. Besides, who wants to date a guy like Mike? Not her. Definitely not her. If he wasn't as good looking he definitely wouldn't be hanging around the in crowd and often times she suspects that he just dates Dee just so he could be on top of the chain.

She rolled her eyes and went straight to her locker, her presence was enough to cause paranoia on other students. All of them moved sideways, as if she was Moses parting the Red Sea, while she made her way to her locker. She pulled out a few books and shut her locker closed and strutted towards Business Class. The very first for her since she missed the first few classes.

Demi was about to walk inside the classroom just in time as the bell rang, signalling the rush of students to head straight for their assigned classes, when she saw Darcy by the hallway. She rolled her eyes at the girl and intently bumped her shoulder into the girl's as Darcy's books dropped on the floor as she feigned an apologetic look and mockingly whispered under the noise of the hallway, "Ooppss... Sorry" She gave Darcy a pout and continued walking towards her classroom not looking back nor helping the poor girl with her things.

As she entered, Demi quickly roamed her gaze to find a good seat for the semester and since she was doing exceptional in all her classes, she decided to take a seat at the back, where she knew more people who can keep her occupied and refrain from getting into the boredom zone. A few wanna be's smiled at her, squeaking small hellos and a little wave as Demi went pass through them. While a few boys winked at her, all of them getting the same cold glare from her. Soon she was able to find a suitable seat just in the smack of the middle aisle and as she took her seat, her gaze went straight to her right where Lacey Holden was sitting.

She gently shook her head, she doesn't get why these girls continued to exist in her classes. She then returned her attention to her things and arranged them like the OC that she is. When she wondered where could her best friend be? She should have arrived earlier than I did, Demi thought silently to herself. She quickly pulled her cellphone from her satchel and sent Dehlilah a message:

Dee! Where are thou? This class is being filled by losers! I need you! xo Demi

14:06 - Business Classroom

Darcy almost groaned aloud as she spotted Demi walking down the corridor, looking as smug as ever. She rolled her eyes when she spotted Darcy, as if Darcy were just a piece of dirt. Demi made her way to the business classroom, but not without forcefully bumping into Darcy's shoulder, making her stumble forward and drop all the books she hadn't bothered to fit into her bag.

"Ooppss... Sorry," Demi said in a sickly sweet voice, smiling smugly as Darcy bent down to pick up her books. She glared at Demetria's back as the girl entered the classroom, quickly throwing her books in a messy pile in her arms.

The bell rang, signalling that class was starting, and Darcy quickly hurried inside. She managed to sit down, unfortunately at the seat right behind Demi, before Miss Toban walked in.

"Time of the month much Demi," a familiar voice spoke up, sarcasm dripping from her voice. Darcy smiled to herself. Add that to the list of reasons why she liked Rosa: She wasn't afraid to stand up to Demi.

Demi replied by complaining about the smell, or something like that, as Darcy had lost interest now that it wasn't Demi being insulted. Maybe a little mean, but Darcy didn't really care. Demi was a bitch, full stop.

Demi then walked up to the front of the class and presented Miss Toban with a gift, though Darcy wasn't bothered to see what it was. She picked at the white crackle nail varnish on her thumb, waiting for class to start, or rather class to end.

Destery Knight

It had been a long morning for Destery, since he'd registered late. His father signed all the papers, and said his goodbyes. So his senior year would be in a new place. A place he knew no one, and no one knew him. It was a weird reason why he moved, he was sick of the town on top of the fact that the people were as boring as the town. That's not to say that Destery himself was exciting, I guess that was really a matter of opinion. Nevertheless, this new boarding school promised something new and adventurous, and something he was always up for, was indeed adventure.

After getting his schedule, he found his way to his classroom. The bells had already rung, so he sauntered in a bit late. The teacher stopped what she was doing, and he handed her a note. He glanced around the class dully, and rubbed his jaw. His rough stubble brushed against his hand. There was an empty seat towards the back, which he guessed would be his.

"You must be the new student." She said, catching his attention again. "Everyone, this is Destery." she introduced him. He lifted his hand a bit as a little wave, and went and took his seat. He sat beside a dark haired girl, behind her sat a bright red haired girl, and in front of them sat another dark haired girl. He glanced at each of them, and opened up his notebook.

Cara laughed as he was sarcastic about how much he played guitar. She'd heard that he was always playing guitar, and whenever she saw him he usually had his guitar. "Yeah my favorite band plays a lot of acoustic," she explained to him. "Oh my God seriously? You would teach me? I would love that!" Jacob said that he had made her late and apologized. Cara hadn't even realized that the bell had rung. "Oh shoot," she said, but with a laugh. She smiled and waved as he walked off. "See you later!" She said with a smile. She made a right and headed to the Business classroom.

She slipped inside. "Sorry I'm late," she muttered to the teacher, then picked the only available seat in the classroom. She laid her books down on the desk. Her phone buzzed and she pulled it out of her pocket. It was a text from Jay. Involuntarily, a smile spread across her face. She glanced up at the teacher and then, with her phone hidden under the desk, typed up a reply.

To: Jay
From: Cara
Hey! Totally serious. I've always wanted to learn! :)

She stuffed the phone back in her pocket and looked up at her classmates. Demi, Darcy, Lacey, and some kid she had never seen before. Who was he? New student maybe?
