Hkari sighed, she was told she had won something from that online contest thing. She had just done it out of boredom, not expecting to win or get anything, but one week later, which was yesterday, she got a call saying that she had won something. So, now she was sitting on the curb waiting for the mailman to came so she could see what exactly she had won. There was a different mailman then usual today so he didn't say anything to Hikari, he just gave her a pile of papers and drove away. Hikari pushed the hood of her coat off of her head as she walked over to the porch to look through the mail. "trash, trash, tr-" Hikari sat on the steps and put the pile of trash next to her and took the paper that had gotten her attention, it was addressed to her. "what the" Hikari muttered and opened it quickly, giving herself a paper cut in the process "kuso" she muttered, putting her finger in her mouth. She opened the letter the rest of the way and took out the paper. On the paper it said:

Dear Ms. Hikari Shizuka,
Online you took a drawing contest, the prize was not specified. We want to inform you that you have, along with some others from other subjects, won an all expenses paid trip from Tokyo, Japan to London, United Kingdom.
The only expenses left to you is your transportation to Tokyo and your belongings. The cruise could take up from one year to eighteen months depending on how long you choose to stay at each destination. In exactly two days, Monday, your cruise ship, the Yangzi Explorer, will be taking off. You will get as many more details as you wish when you call the number below.

Hikari's eyes grew wide and she ran into the house to call her cousin, Alex. She ran into the kitchen, dropping the letter on the kitchen table as she went. She picked up the phone and quickly dialed his number, "Alex, guess what?!" she asked the twenty two year old. "What?" he asked, laughing a little at his cousins excitement, "I won a trip for a cruise!" she said, happily. "Cool! where to?"
"It's to all over the place!"
"Nice! I'm going over to Canberra Australia tomorrow, the band has a concert over there"
"What?! that's the first place we're going!"
"Well, we can stay for a bit and I can see you, I haven't seen you since the beginning of the year!"
"okay! maybe I'll have made some friends and they can come too!"
"sure"
All of a sudden the sliding door slammed
"I gotta go, dad just got home" Hikari said grinning
"Alright, see you in a few days" Alex said and hung up
Hikari put the phone back and ran over to her father, "Dad! I won a cruise! can I go?" she asked, pretty sure he would let her since he had been saying he would take her on a ship for months. Hikari's father sighed, "Yeah, but be careful and take your phone" he said, and patted her head. "thank you sooo much daddy!" she said and hugged him quickly, then ran up stairs. She threw a few things into her black suit case and then put it next to her bed. Hikari went back down stairs and called the number they gave her. She found out that the port were they were going to take off from was an hour away.
She ate some Miso soup for dinner then went to her bed, quickly falling asleep.
