Introduction
Girl 1: She thought he was her father. She trusted him with all her heart. But now, he is the father of the child growing inside of her; Now, he is sitting behind bars as she prepares to have a child and become a single mother. She feels frozen.
Boy 1: His little brother looked up to him. His little brother idolized him. But he was a dare devil, and had to bring his brother along. His brother died in the dare, and now he feels like it's all his fault. He feels frozen.
Girl 2: She was devastated when she found out the news. Only a few months after her boyfriend took her virginity, she learned he hadn't told her of his illness. She has been diagnosed with aids. She feels frozen.
Boy 2: He had always thought cars were safe. But when the drunk driver forced his parents to drive into a tree and off a steep ledge, they both died and he became handicapped and will spend the rest of his days in a wheel chair. He feels frozen.
Girl 3: She's been bullied her entire life for so many things. She dresses dark, she isn't as skinny as the other girls, and she has a family with a not so good past. They send her death threats, they shove her against lockers. She feels frozen.
Boy 3: He can't ever forget the burns, the pain. His house was burned down in a fire, and his whole body except his face is covered with burns. He lost his family in that fire, and lives with his aunt and uncle. He feels frozen.
These six teenagers have been suffering from traumatizing experiences, living in Redwood Maine, and now, their guardians want to get them help. They send the teenagers to a therapist group three times a week, to meet with one another and talk about the problems they've had. One teenager might know another from school, another might hate two more... two might be dating, the other two might be best friends. But they are going to become a group, a family. Whether they hate it or like it.
They are going to try to become unfrozen.
The Therapist: She's worked with kids all her life, but these six special kids who have gone through hell have touched her. She is going to try her hardest to help them. She is going to try her hardest to make them feel unfrozen.
