A strange young woman with "clear" blue eyes. She is resident Healer of Galra Outpost.
Riviana has long, straight, black hair down to her waist. Standing 5’6”, she also possesses a slender frame. She looks almost fragile. Her eyes are “clear” which makes them look like an endless blue, just like the rest of the women in her family. She usually dresses in long, flowing, blue robes that bring out the color of her eyes even more. Her face possesses a soft and natural beauty. She looks much younger than her 22 years if you can manage to avoid looking at her eyes. Her eyes seem to hold the wisdom and experience of hundreds of years of life.
Riviana is soft spoken and almost constantly on the move. Oddly enough, she never seems busy due to a strange calmness that seems to constantly surround her. On the rare occasion that she is at rest she usually seems detached, but when talking to people she is always fully engaged in the conversation. Riviana is kind to everyone she meets, regardless of how they treat her. There is something mysterious about her that either draws people to her or pushes them away in fear.
(Actually powers):
Riviana is an accomplished Healer. She can use either a traditional method of healing using herbs, bandages, powders, etc, or she can heal using magic. She must be careful if she uses magic, because her body will take on the injury she healed for a moment before vanishing. The more serious the wound, the longer it takes her to recover. Some people say she must have some type of regenerative power, but any wounds she receives normally heal at a regular speed.
Riviana also has minor psychic abilities. She is able to read the emotions of people around her with 100 percent accuracy, though she cannot tell why they feel that way. She is also able to see into the future. This power is limited however. She can only see what will happen to herself and the people who will be around her and she can only see up to a week into the future. Riviana has not yet learned to control her clairvoyance well.
Born in a small village of Forbidden and Despised (though they were not called that yet), Riviana grew up in a matriarchal society. The Cleareyes family had gotten their surname due to the strange fact that every female born to a woman of the Cleareyes family had blue eyes that seemed clear and also seemed to possess some level of psychic ability.
Riviana had a happy childhood. Although she lived in Rinsehld, her village was so remote and so small that it took years for the negative effects of King Vrakis to infiltrate it. However, when she turned 13 everything began to change. She was now old enough to begin working and was sent to be tested by the village priestess. Found to be an adept healer, she began her work. Later that year, guards of King Vrakis arrived to help ensure that the village was “productive for its King.” Riviana’s task as town healer became difficult as the guards would beat villagers for any reason, sometimes just for sport. She could not heal them with the guards around or she would risk the same treatment and eventually be of no use to anyone, so she began making her rounds at night. Eventually she was caught and beaten for her efforts. As a result, she moved out of the village, residing alone in a nearby forest. She had her mother spread the word among the villagers. The villagers would come to her for healing and bring food as payment, though Riviana never asked for it. Sometimes she would venture back to the village when word would reach her of someone who was too sick or injured to make the journey to her. When Riviana was 16, it was decided that the village was not productive enough and everyone was sent to different towns to live. Riviana left her place in the woods, looking for her family until the magic laws were passed a year later. Although she was human, it drew too much suspicion for her to ask for her family and she could think of no other reason to be traveling. Instead, she began to search the forests for any Forbidden or Despised that may have been hiding from the Hunters. She was not quite 18 when she stumbled upon the Galra Camp which later became Galra Outpost.
