The 'Ghost' of Sherwood Forest, sworn enemy of the king and his allies, sworn defender of the people of Nottingham.
Robyn is wispy at best, perfect for flitting through the trees and hiding in small crevices. Life in the woods has given her arms and legs some definition of muscles and her palms rough callouses, but her skin is pale from a life spent mostly out at night. She wears clothing that is warm but not bulky or loose enough to catch on twigs, as well as the infamous Lincoln green hood. She sports straw-colored hair and green eyes that suggest some mixed Northern heritage.
Robyn is as light-hearted as the spirit of generosity which she claims to be. Some mistake this for a lack of care for what she does, but Robyn sees it as her greatest duty to keep her follower's hearts light in order to find the strength to carry on the battle. She has also been known to be a bit of a show-off, and perhaps her weakest trait is her great pride.
Robyn is a master archer, and as such carries with her at all time a bow. She prefers the longbow, but will make do with others if maneuvering is an issue. She also carries with her a long dagger, and has been taught somewhat how to use a sword, but prefers flight to fight when in close combat and is useless without at least some weapon to aid her.
Very few have come into close enough confidence to even be aware of Robyn's gender, much less her past. But those who have earned her complete trust have each been told varying stories; some swear she is the daughter of a nobleman, unjustly being removed from his lands. Some say she fled from an unhappy marriage. Some swear that Robyn Hood is the rightful heir to the throne, a distant cousin of the king.
All that is known for certain is that Robyn began her crusade alone, and welcomes any who wish to join her.
