β™ͺ This is my life: [Bio/history] "You want to be in it? ;p"

Drea was born to a wealthy family in the heart of Portugal. When she was very young, she was born very ill, which limited her in what she could do, including going outside. Although she was never feeling the best, that still didn't stop her from doing what she loved. She loved to go exploring new places, spending time by the lake near her house when her parents assumed she was in bed. She often spent her nights there, having a jam on the guitar, writing songs and daydreaming, which I suppose is where her tendency to be a night owl originated from.

Don't get me wrong, just because she was wealthy did not make her happy. Her illness limited her in many ways. She could not stay outside for prolonged periods of time, (The sunlight gave her head spins and made her pass out), she could not pick up sports, play with the other kids and therefore, struggled to make friends. Her parents were also far from happy, seemingly perfect from the outside, but only Drea knew the true power behind their pretty faces. They were manipulators. Terrible, terrible people that took pleasure in others' pain and suffering. Because of their sinful nature, their ability to walk over anybody in their path without a shred of guilt or humanity, Drea was often caught in the middle, having to follow a life she did not wish to follow, never quite being treated like a daughter, but more like an item to use. When she grew old enough to say the word, "no," they were quick to lose their temper, earning her a black eye and a few broken ribs. Needless to say, she did not try to go against their word again. Sure wealth was all and good, but it came at a very steep price for the daughter of a notorious Mafia leader.

When she was a little older, life started looking up. She met a girl named Divine. Divine was like a big sister to her. They were best mates and Drea was happy that she had finally met somebody she could trust. But all of a sudden, she disappeared, and Drea has been wondering what happened to her ever since.

β™ͺ Sometimes I act like this: [Personality]

Drea has a very... complicated personality. It's like she has been literally torn in two parts, something that not even Drea can understand. For the most part, she's quiet and cute. The shy girl in the corner, too sweet to so much as even look at a fly, let along hurt it. She freaks out around guys, can not even look at them to save her life, one smile making her want to run away, dig a hole, crawl into it and die.

In saying this, Drea isn't all flowers and candy. Drea, to put it quite simply, is a curious person. If something happens to catch her attention, it'll bug her and bug her until she eventually gives in and learns the math behind it. This can often be rather risky, as she'd wait 'til all is asleep before sneaking out and finding out exactly what she was searching for. She tends to do most of her detours in the light of the moon, waiting until the early hours of the morning before making her adventure down the little pathway of that she calls life. She is always careful when she does such detours. Shy, daring and naturally kind, she had never had a good mix of attributes for learning how to best survive.

Because she is quiet, Drea has also gained a rather "second nature" when it comes to other people. She is very good at reading others, paying particular attention to tiny details that others would often look past. She has a good view of the world around her, often basing her decisions off the bigger picture, as opposed to personal emotions. Judgement is not something that plays in her head, and understanding others is just another silent talent that she holds, but is very rarely recognized. She is not very good at defending herself, always seeing the best in the people around her. This alone makes her an easy target to take advantage of.

The second half of her is the shallow half of her, or the half that she chooses to show others. Although she is a sweet girl at heart, she fears that revealing this would make her vulnerable. So she hides her nerves and often deeper emotions under charm and wit, in hopes that nobody will ever dive any deeper than the surface.

Drea felt incredibly manly today.

And I'm not talking, "woke up with terrible bed head, scrunched clothes and sleepy eyes" kind of manly either. I'm talking legit, man. She dared herself to glance in the side mirror as she pulled up the black GTO into a spare space in the car park. The reflection staring back at her almost scared herself, her thick row of dark lashes hidden under layers of temporary dye~ it was the best she could do to cover her rather ahem, Feminine eyes, the tussled, red wig doing a fair job at covering her hair, taking how much hair she actually had.

"I'm going to kill dad for this."

She thought bitterly, climbing out the car. It was her father's idea, after all, that she attended this school, as a sort of "spy" amongst the fellow students. Apparently his next target was one of the teacher's in the school, some guy that owed him money and was trying to run away.

"The poor guy..." Drea mumbled, fingering the gun under her pants. She really did feel bad for him, knowing the awful power that her parents did hold. Not only that, but she hated doing this for them, not that she really had a choice.

Gently, she fingered the bruise on the top of her cheek as she gingerly stepped out of the car. Last night, she had been stupid enough to argue with her dad about attending this school, which in turn had landed her with a rather impressive strike to the face. The swelling had gone down at least, and she had covered the bruising with make up, but by god, it stung like a b****!

Grabbing her bag from the back seat, she slammed the door shut, locking it behind her, as she clambered up the stairs of the entrance. She struggled her way through the cafeteria, trying to locate exactly where she was going, whilst also hiding the fact that this bag was damn heavy and she felt like it was going to push her over. Men were always strong enough to carry their own stuff~ she didn't want to come off as a pretty boy on the first day of school.

Checking her watch and realizing she still had some time before her first class, she plonked herself down at the nearest table, leaning against the back of her chair.

Well, at least everybody would be still unpacking their stuff at their dorms.

She could rest and recover for a little while...

Zechariah Jepthah Nehemiah[/center]

Zechariah walked on over to the Admisssions office to check in. He knew he was admitted just before the year began, but better late than never. "Excuse me, sir? I am Zechariah Nehemiah. I was admitted late, so I hope I did not miss too much."

The man at the front desk checked the files. "Oh, no! Not at all! In fact, you have plenty of time to unpack! Welcome to Beauchamp!"

"Thank you!" The blonde man smiled at the good news.

"You are dorm 2B."

Zechariah nodded and took the key. There were supposedly no young ladies on campus, which meant he did not have to worry about a love life, just yet. Or, so he thought. He did not know it yet, but there were a few young women disguised as men who were within the dorms. Once he finds out, it will be a total shocker.

Dorm 2B was not hard to find. He would normally open the door. However, he knew a man -well, supposedly a man- named Phoenix was his roommate. Where there is a roommate, it would be prudent to behave politely. Therefore, he knocked on the door, instead.

Drea just reached her dorm with a few minutes to spare. Okay... so she had over stayed her welcome in the cafe, lost track of time, and ended up having to run to her dorm. Unlocking the door, she grabbed her bag and threw it on the bed. Drea, being as into sports as she was, was not usually too bad at running, but she discovered the hard way today that apparently a few Kilograms of luggage certainly slowed her down.

Wiping a piece of hair from her face, she just turned to go check the place out, when there was a knock at the door. A familiar lurch hit her stomach as the realism of the situation suddenly hit her. She was at a boys school. Dressed as a boy, and... she had a room mate. Crap. She forgot about that. Swallowing hard, she adjusted her wig, being suddenly paranoid that the red mop was going to fall off even if she tilted her head slightly. Despite using 3 packs of bobby pins, clips and hair ties, it suddenly didn't feel like so much anymore.

Straightening her shirt, she forced herself to walk to the door. Hand hovering over it for a brief moment, she took in a breath, reminding herself that if she made him wait much longer he might think she was rude or had some sort of problem with opening doors... And besides, it wasn't even definite this was her room mate. It could be the principal or the teacher coming to check on her. Um. Him.

"Here goes nothing..." She opened the door and stopped.

He was young. Like her age, or maybe a few years older young. Blonde. Either he was her room mate or a ridiculously youthful teacher. She crossed her fingers. She really hoped it was the latter.

"H-Hey..." She tried to sound brave but friendly at the same time, which was hard when you're an imposter and find guys as foreign as an alien species, "Um... is there something I can do for you?"

Zechariah noticed how nervous (or shy) Pheonix was. Maybe he has not been around people much. "Hello. I'm Zechariah, your roomate? Sorry for the short notice. I was admitted late." He could not help but feel he should try and help with something. Rasing an eyebrow, he made the query, "Did I come at a bad time, Phoenix? Is something bothering you?"

He did not know what was going on. It could be stress-related, or possibly just social awkwardness. Either way, he wanted to help. This was his first time as a college student, and he would rather start on a good note. Of curse, beng twenty years old, he felt out of place, knowing he was probably one of the oldest college freashmen on campus. It was kind of embarrassing to enroll so late.

Oh no. He was looking at her. Damn it she hated being so shy. Shuffling her foot slightly, she looked at the ground, trying to ignore the way he rose his eye brow or the fact that he just announced he was her room mate. Her fears were confirmed.

"Um, that's alright. I was a bit late myself, actually." She stepped aside to let the boy in, holding the door open so he could carry in his luggage, "Do you need any help carrying in anything? I know from this morning it's not so nice trying to juggle a few suit cases all at once"

She knew she wasn't going to be much help, but she could try at least. Maybe discreetly pick up the smaller bag? Hopefully it wouldn't take her out in the process.

Zechariah shrugged. "If you could bring in that smaller bag with my baking utensils, I'd appreciate it." He wondered if Phoenix was just shy. That was the only possibility he saw. The poor young man did not even suspect he was actually a she. After all, what reason would there be for a young woman to risk getting in trouble by enrolling in an all-male school? Once he came in, Zechariah began unpacking, placing his things where he knew he would find them, including his Bible, which he placed on one of the shelves. "I hope you're not Anti-Theistic. That kind of bigotry does get annoying after a time. Just saying."
