A rough-riding, hard drinking, sharp shooting woman who works with her four brothers in the old west.
Lavender hails from a long line of pale-skinned, red-headed rough housers. Her own red hair reached past her shoulders and is usually stringy with sweat and dust that come from racing around from one sort of trouble in the desert to the next.
Her eyes are brown, and almost always laughing. She wears shirts with billowing sleeves and vests that have enough pockets to carry spare ammunition. She also wears a battered hat to protect her skin from painful kisses from the sun, two belts, handed down trousers and leather roping cuffs.
Lavender is loud, charismatic, and cocky. She honestly believes that there is not a thing in the world that she cannot do--at least, while she's in the company of her brothers. She believes strongly in living in the moment; the longest she has ever spent premeditating an act on her own is roughly thirteen minutes.
For all her bravado, Lavender sports a myriad of flaws. She hates being alone, even if the only company she can find is boring. She has a tendency to act childish and, in regards to all others save her brothers, can be quite selfish.
Lavender is the sharp-shooter in her familial band; she has been known to spin and shoot a coffee can from (depending on how drunk the braggart is) 100 feet-100 yards. She carries with her no less than five pistols and bullets enough for each. She wears leather riding chaps and gloves; the only things in her outfit that match.
Lucas, Leon, Lucien, Levi and Lavender Smith lost their parents, one being an infamous bandit (Lucas 'Rex' Smith) and the other being his fiery wife, when Lavender was still an infant. The five of them were deposited in a dusty, crowded orphanage. Until Lucas turned old enough to take himself and his siblings out, they worked as a group to ensure that none of them were solely adopted.
Once they were out in the world, the 'Smith Five' went about causing ruckus and dishing out disaster wherever they could. They did whatever they needed to make money enough to eat; sometimes exploiting Lav's natural talent as a sharp shooter, sometimes using Lucien's natural charisma to sell snake oil, sometimes laying flat a counting house.
Through it all they have maintained a solid loyalty to one another, and no others. Lavender might wonder what she would do on her own, were she to ever consider it.
