Description

Slim yet tall with very definite feminine curves, Scarlet is a woman with a bit of a swagger in her step. Her long blond hair is usually kept in a ponytail, and her sun kissed skin attest to her preference for the outdoors and love of horse riding. Normally, Scarlet dresses more conservatively in her long skirt and blouses, or in frilly dresses but when she goes riding, she usually does so in a pair of brown trousers and a flannel shirt (most often barrowed from one Jesse Cameron).

Personality

Deep down a kind and good natured soul, with know to have a sneaky and at times even manipulative streak, Scarlet above anything else, loves to laugh. Scarlet likes to have her way, and isn’t keen on hearing the word no. Usually, she can use her pretty face and charm to get her way with most people, but on the occasion that it doesn’t, she’s also known to simply ignore the authority figure telling her no to begin with.

Witt, charm, and a pretty face as Scarlet's most effective tools, though she'd also pretty handy with a pistol (not a sharp shooter by any means, but had decent aim) after swindleing lesons a few years back from Jesse Cameron.

History

Scarlet Henson is the only child of Green Hallow’s local Doctor, “Doc” Henson. As such, Scarlet had always been on the receiving end of pampered attention and over protectiveness. As Green Hallow’s only doctor, along with a small inherited family fortune, the Hensons have done quite well for themselves financially, leaving Scarlet without need of a job, and a painfully boring amount of free time. Scarlet’s one true passion, is horseback riding, a pastime her overprotective father does not approve of, and limits as much as possible. When Scarlet’s father knows she’d riding, it’s usually with two escorts from her father’s group of friends or picked prospective beaus, she plays the part of charming respectable young lady, even riding sidesaddle. Most often however, when she rides, it’s on the Cameron property with Becky Cameron, and her father has no idea.

Oddly enough, despite the four year age difference, Becky and Scarlet struck up an uncommon friendship, sharing a love for riding and horses. Her relationship with Jesse Cameron however, is far more complicated. Long time childhood friends, Jesse is completely immune to Scarlet’s manipulative charm (usually), and will most often be seen bickering with each other like cats and dogs. When questioned about each other, there is usually nothing but insults flung, though they won’t stand for anyone else doing the same. Usually swinging between wanting to kill each other, and dogged protectiveness, the two friends are almost siblings in spirit, if not in blood.
