During his career as a pilot he did aquire a few scars: One runs across his front from the top his left shoulder towards his hip on the right side. There are about five other scars from bullets scattered across his back though are barely noticeable in comparison to a much larger bullet scar on the bottom left of his back. The scar on his front is from a machete much like his own. Those on his back are from a civilians pistol and a military sniper.
Physical Description
Samuel, despite his rather lean build, is quite strong: stronger than might be expected by a man of his weight and size. He tries to maintain a clean lifestyle, spending alot of time tidying himself up every morning and yet his silver grey hair is always in a mess. As far as fashion sense goes Samuel hasn't got much, he often wears the same clothes day after day, only taking them off each night to wash them.

Whilst Samuel often portrays himself as an timid loner he does enjoy company, especially that of good friends and Alice. He never says much though, preferring to keep his own problems and thoughts to himself rather than give others reason to worry. This is why he lies frequently, not for his own benefit but out of his concern for others. Around the agency and on missions he tries to keep a plain face, forcing any guilty or negative emotions to the back of his mind. However doing this doesnt eliminate the feelings and this causes Samuel to lapse into periods of emotional instability every now and then. This is one of the several reasons for his occasional disappearances. He always to make sure to keep in contact with Alice though, knowing its his job to make sure he's there when she needs him, both as a teacher and a friend.

History
Samuel was raised by his grandfather, a gun loving scottish man whom taught him everything he knows about guns and the world. He still had to go to public schools though; to learn about mathematics, English and everything else whilst being teased by other children for the colour of his hair. Then he moved onto secondary school where he joined the local gun club, the school chess club and the soccer team. But by the time Samuel was halfway through his secondary education he had ditched all the school clubs, finding them too easy, and focused on the gun club. This might have been why that upon graduation Samuel enlisted in the army as a pilot. And for some time this was fine. But after a few years of airborne combat and squad drops the job became dull, they stopped sending him out as often despite his fantastic records and when he was sent out on missions it was only ever reconnaissance. This is what led Samuel to leave the army and commit himself to freelancing for some time. He went through a variety of jobs such as cleaning, cooking and even construction before the agency found him and recruited him into their cause. Samuel knows alot about the agency, having done much research since joining, but pretends to be ignorant. He doesnt like what they do but can accept it as being a important step forward in both the scientific and military communities.
Thoughts on Other Characters
Alice - "A good kid"; Thats the easiest way for Samuel to describe his assigned cyborg. Theres all lot to like about her, shes honest, sociable and cheerful. If she weren't running around slitting throat and back stabbing her foes then theres no doubt she could live life as a normal kid. Unfortunately Samuel knows thats slowly going to change, maybe she doesn't notice it but he does: the conditioning she goes through changes her little by little every time, nurtures the seed of violence inside her. Theres the other kids too, Alice being around them worries him, leave him pondering as to whether they might rub off on her in the worst of ways. Alot of the time he doesnt know what to do for her, having never cared for a younger child or trained a fellow solider. He tries to be nice to her but also strict, though often he comes off in a way he didnt want to.
Max- A perfect solider and prime example of what this whole project aims to create. She scares Samuel, To him shes proof that the agency can make things happen. He doesn't hate her, he pities her. But he wouldn't dare reveal this to anyone especially Wes, he treats her just like his own kid. Samuel doesnt mind Alice and Max playing together though. Aslong as Alice isnt late for her own training or getting herself into trouble she can do as she wishes.
Seiren - By far the strangest cyborg. Theres something about her that makes her stand out, something Samuel can quite put a finger on. Theres also her figure, the smallest and most unnatural among the cyborgs and yet still the most feminine. She seems friendly enough though, not the most sociable of course but still smart and confident. Theres also her odd tendencies and her personalities but they don't bother him. You might even say that the reason Samuel likes Seiren is because she is something the agency might not ever be fully able to control. Samuel even sees her as a valuable ally.
Beth - An odd kid, Shes almost always smiling and so leading Samuel to believe shes either crazy in some way or actually enjoys everything she does, even the killing. Samuel thinks it might even be a bit of both. Yet aside from the creepy smile she seems okay. Samuel doesn't keep as much of an eye on her as he does the others though so he cant say much else about her.
Wes- Wes is very different from the others at the agency. He friendly when he's around the base and knows how to act on the battle field, Samuel doesn't speak to him often though so doesn't know much more than what he sees of him. Samuel doesn't really doesn't understand how Wes deals with his cyborg or whats even left to do with her when it comes to conditioning.
Chris - When it comes to Chris he seems like the complete opposite of his cyborg, Beth. Samuel likes him, He's hard to read and doesn't show a lot of emotion but seems kind enough. Sometimes Samuel speaks to him, but only every briefly and about official business. He's the youngest and most likely strangest handler amongst them.
