Introduction
The Gypsy Caravan is meant to gather a group of similar characters within the Multiverse, implying a preexisting relationship between members. Characters created here can be used anywhere in the multiverse or the chat. There will also be scheduled, group-wide chat activities to partake in on an occasional basis.
The notion of Gypsy Caravan is based loosely on the idea of Irish/Scottish travelers with a romanticized skew. Characters should follow a stereotypical model (this IS fantasy, after all) of "mystical powers...[and] supposed irascible or passionate temper paired with an indomitable love of freedom and a habit of criminality".
Please submit a character profile (or a link!) here for review if you wish to play a part in our subculture. ^_^ They can include as much information as you wish, but require a few particular tidbits of information:
Name: preferably of Celtic, Gaelic, Irish, or Scottish origin
Profession: Everyone has their place in a gypsy caravan, what's your character's talent? A few suggestions:
* dancer
* musician
* acrobat
* fortune teller
* magician
Magical Ability: Completely optional. Gypsies have a love for the earth and nature, and magical abilities should reflect that. Some suggestions:
* basic elemental (fire, air, earth, or water)
* shaman (spirit) magic
* summoning magic (-1- animal companion)
All Gypsy characters share a few traits: small weapons proficiency (knives/daggers/etc.), a knack for pickpocketing and thievery, and an above-average knowledge of flora and fauna.

Flinn Abelli danced into the fairgrounds smiling to himself as he looked around at the various townsfolk. Slipping two knives from his belt he would spin them in his hands absentmindedly, before skipping and flipping forward and turning his head slightly to wait for some of the other members of the caravan.

Cassier Corrigan slips through the crowds, freeing the purses of some of the townsfolk and keeping them for his caravan. He makes his way to Flinn and hails him with a raised hand. "Flinn! Will we be working together today?"

Branwyn Gallagher smiled at Flinn's antics, herding a few goats over to a spot in the shade where she could milk them. The remains of a shirt thrown over her shoulder, thread bulging from various pockets she had sewn in her clothing, including a few spools she tucked into her shirt.

Flinn Abelli stopped his mindless fooling dropping into a bow his hat falling to his hand as he whips it off another knife falling to his hand from it. Grinning he looks up and tosses it towards Cassier "catch Cassier!" He would shout a warning and stand back waiting for the other man to get the idea for them to juggle the knives together.

Cassier Corrigan laughs and catches, drawing his own knifes and adding them to the fray. He tosses the knife back to Flinn, readily showing off. "Always Flinn!" He replies, enjoying the juggling.

Branwyn Gallagher smiles, watching the knife throwing begin. She knew that Cass and Flinn would never knowingly hurt an gadje, but she felt she had to warn them just in case. As she sat down next to one of the goats, the rest clustering around her, she shouted out, "Beware you don't knock an eye out, or hit a 'visitor'", putting emphasis on the last word.

Flinn Abelli begins to catch his own knives tossing Cassier back his knives. Smiling he slips the three knives back into his hat and belt, before turning to Branwyn smiling keeping the knives going behind his back "yes ma'am."

Cassier Corrigan laughs and begins throwing the back from underneath his leg. "Now beautiful Branwyn, would I ever hurt a guest? It'd be a shame!" He grins at her, cheerfully juggling knifes with his friend. "And if I injure myself, I am sure I could count on you to kiss it better."

Branwyn Gallagher chuckled, her deep brown eyes lighting up. "Tha' ye could, Cass. Would be a shame though, to have to resew that new patch on your shirt though." A brown curl escaped from under her kerchief, which she promptly tucked behind her ear. One of the goats baa-ed, causing her to jump, and laugh. "Right, almost done then." Reaching for the pail, she let the milk fall in, the other two pails already full with milk from the other goats.

Flinn Abelli seems distracted for a moment as he turns back flinging in his own knives again slipping a few from his sleeves as well adding seven more to the total and watching them fly through the air in a slight daze, a smile dancing about his features.

Cassier Corrigan focuses on the seven knifes now, not doing any fancy tricks as he does so. Flinn was the superior juggled here, and they both know it. He grins at Branwyn. "Ah lass, are all you worried about the patches on my shirt? I'm sure my heart is broke from your cruel comment, love. Just sure of it."

Branwyn Gallagher giggled, having just finished milking the goat. With three pails full, she patted the most recent one on the rump, causing it to trot away, the other two following. "Nay, Cass. O' course I am worried abou' more then your shirt. There is also possible holes in the skin that would need to be sewn up. And tha' would cause much heartache throughout the caravan if ye were to be hurt."

Flinn Abelli turned about in a small circle as if testing Cassier's skill as he would whip a knife up and juggle it in his off hand and then flip it back to him smiling while continuing. He would pay attention to their words he knew he didn't want to be the one to injure the other so he slackened up his tosses toning them down so they wouldn't whip so fast through the space.

Cassier Corrigan grins at Flinn and catches each of his knifes, sheathing them even as he sends Flinn's knife back towards him. "If your that bored, let's go into the fair proper, Flinn!" He teases the other gypsy with a smile.

Flinn Abelli grins flipping up a hand and doing a carefully calculated flip forward weaving into his own knives as he began to pluck them from the air and conceal them on his person again "but you should practice some more...you seemed worried by seven knives only" he would grin teasingly and step forward "what'd you have in mind anyway?"

Cassier Corrigan shrugs, and starts heading into the fair proper. "I don't know yet. I got a bit distracted by fair Branwyn." He says with a sigh. "Ah, I do love the ladies. And I wasn't worried. I was flirting with our oh so fair Branwyn"

Flinn Abelli attempts to hit Cassier over the head with his hat. "Man you and your girl chasing" turns and wolf whistles as he see's some cute girls pass "where was I?"

Cassier Corrigan laughs and throw an arm around his shoulder. "Girl watching. I love new places. The new, unsuspecting ladies, so curious about being one of ours." He grins and eyes some of their victims.

Cassier Corrigan grins and drops his arm. "Ah, but if I didn't try them, I might not be able to even catch fair Branwyn's attention. Besides, who'm i to choose between her and Raelin. Both are such fine woman, I'm afraid I must play with the non-Rom until I decide. Or one decides for me!"

Flinn Abelli hits at Cassier with his hat again "ah ye' young rouge stealing all the pretty women for yourself, I'll be left alone ...again" he sighs and spins his hat back onto his head "and if you break there hearts I break your legs...alright?"

Cassier Corrigan looks innocent. "I fear the breaking of hearts is all I'm good for when it comes to our guests. But for Raelin and Branwyn, no doubt htey'd break my legs before I could break their hearts!"

Flinn Abelli laughs again and does a cartwheel before stomping on his heels and turning about looking at the fair smiling lightly. "Ah I hope so" he grins teasingly and looks about for something fun to do.

Raelin's picture for the Gypsy Caravan picture is ready. If you're interested in being included, you have to get in contact with me over a messenger sometime!
For those of you who don't know I volunteered to do a picture of the entire caravan, each and everyone of you, and combine it into a mass picture. The likely background (or the one bouncing around in my head) is a night scene by firelight with all the wagons in the background and the characters in it too. But that's just whats in my head now. by the time it comes to the actual finished product, there never really is any telling.
I'll need a pose reference pic, preferably full body, and several over reference pics as well, so I can pin everything down. First come, first serve and it'll take me from anywhere between two-five days to finish each picture depending on that dratted stuff called line art and my schedule (and motivation). WARNING: I may not like the first picture. In that case, I will take liberties with your character to do a second one that I feel looks better and captures your characters awesomeness better. Maybe.
If you have any suggestions for the background other than my first thought, let me know. I'm flexible.
