Introduction
"The World"...the most poplular MMORPG to have ever been released. Now, three years after the AIDA incendent, C.C. Corp has covered up the fact that anything had happened. Players returned to the game, and everything returned to normal. However, Moon Tree, Kestral, and many other guilds have disbanded. Now, two major guilds have been formed, seeking total supremacy in "The World". Grand Soul, a guild made to enforce law in the world, and dealing out punishment as they see fit, and Rosenvein, the guild who seeks freedom from the rules of the game. Tensions between these two guilds are constantly rising, and the two have begun to wage war. However, the turmoil in "The World" does not end here. People have begun to fall into comas as a new anomaly appears. Called VYNE, this program has randomly appeared, absorbing characters. Any player who has had their character absorbed has fallen into a coma. VYNE also creates copies of any player it absorbs, and these new characters are called Harbingers. These Harbingers have been attacking players, and these victims have also become comatose. Now, certains players have been showing certain changes in their character data, giving them the power to defeat these Harbingers. Deemed Phase Blades, named after the powers of the Eight Phases of Morganna that they weild, these characters are the only ones who can stand up against VYNE. However, the two main guilds have been seeking out the power of these characters, seeking to use them to tip the war in there favor. The path they take is up to them, but in end will they find their destination?
Classes
Adept Rogue: This class can weild up to three weapons, yet have low attacks.
Blade Brandier: This class uses blades, with great speed and decent attack.
Macabre Dancer: This class dances around the battlefield using bladed fans.
Edge Punisher: This class trades speed for immense power, using massive broadswords.
Flick Reaper: A class that has low power, but a massive attack range. They use scythes.
Harvest Cleric: Mostly healers, they can also weild offensive magics. They wield staffs.
Lord Partizan: Another class with good range, the have high defenses. They use spears.
Shadow Warlock: A class that specializes in offensive magics, they use spellbooks.
Steam Gunner: Has the best range, attacking foes from a distance. Uses guns.
Tribal Grappler: A class that brings the fight close to the enemy, fighting with gauntlets.
Twin Blade: The fastest of the classes, they weild dual swords.
Guilds
Grand Soul: A large guild who has taken it upon themselves to be the protectors of "The World". They also punish those who choose to break the laws, making them at arms with Rosenvein. Led by a three Guild Masters, they have their own area.
Rosenvein: The other large guild in "The World", they strive for freedom and wish to play how they wish, be it PKing or what not. They are seen as rebels, but that is what makes them popular. They also have there own area.
Divinagga: A small guild with only a few members, they are a mystery. It is rumored that they are trying to find out more about VYNE. For some reason, they have their own area as well.

Phase Blades
Characters who are infused with the power of one of the eight phases. Each one has special abilities, along with Data Drain, the only way to stop a Harbinger. When their power is activated, they are encircled with digital armor similar to the avatar summoning state.
Rules:
1. Keep things PG-13. Romance is fine just don't go overboard.
2. No Godmodding. No character is immortal.
3. Post regularly. At least every other day.
4. Enjoy yourselves.

OOC Notes
Xeraph stood on a small strip of land, surrounded by endless ocean. The land was empty, save for the warp gate located at the south tip of it. The moon was full, as it always was. Xeraph called this place Eternity Isle. It was a hacked location, created by Xeraph himself, in order for his guild Divinagga to meet in private. As he stood their, he waved his hand and what appeared as a system command prompt appeared.
"Access files: VYNE victims." He said. The screen flashed and files ran across the screen. "Hmm....it seems that the number of victims is growing. VYNE is becoming much more active, and the Harbingers are growing. This is a problem." Suddenly, the screen beeped, then a location shown on screen. "Hmm, there is Harbinger activity in Delta Graceful Honor Gate. We must act." He turned and paused for a minute, sending a flash mail to the members of Divinagga:
A Harbinger has appeared. Please come to the @HOME immedietly.
"Simple and to the point. I do hope someone is online to get this. I hate fighting these things alone." Xeraph stood on Eternity Isle, waiting for the other members of Divinagga.

VYNE is becoming much more active, and the Harbingers are growing. This is a problem." Suddenly, the screen beeped, then a location shown on screen. "Hmm, there is Harbinger activity in Delta Graceful Honor Gate. We must act." He turned and paused for a minute, sending a flash mail to the members of Divinagga:
A Harbinger has appeared. Please come to the @HOME immedietly.
"Simple and to the point. I do hope someone is online to get this. I hate fighting these things alone." Xeraph stood on Eternity Isle, waiting for the other members of Divinagga.

(Sorry but you don't have very many areas that you can go to so I'm going to add some in my post. I hope you don't mind.)
Raidon had loged in arriving at the Eternal City, Mac Avenu. He walked threw the town to the shoping area as he usally did. He walks over to a NPC that sells healing items and buys healing items. He then when to the warp gate in town and warps to Glaceral Plains. This is where he went to kill time and help some of the newer characters. PKers seemed to lurk around Glaceral Plains. Not very many seemed to be around lately. He sits down near one of the few trees on the Glaceral Plains. He had been sitting there for a while when the screen flashes letting him know that he has a flash mail. He opens the flash mail and it reads A Harbinger has appeared. Please come to the @HOME immedietly. At the bottom the sender ID is Xeraph. Raidon quickly stands up and runs to the Glaceral Plains' warp gate and warps to the hack created home that Xeraph had made for his guild members to meet in private. He just wondered how the administraters didn't know about this area. He quickly walks up to Xeraph and says "I came as soon as I got your message. Where have the Harbinger appeared at sir?" Raidon had a tendasy to call Xeraph sir since he was the guild master. He stands next to Xeraph waiting for an answer.

Zero logged into "The World" for the first time in the begginer town, Mac Anu. He looks around at the scenery & says to himself "so this is what The World looks like inside." He checked his inventory & found 5 healing drinks & 5 sprite drops. He thought to himself "I wonder what would be a good area for me to start out with. I wanna be like this.....PKK person & become as strong as he was." He paced about near the warp gate, until he finally thought of something. "I'll try an advanced area. I always did like a challenge." He then went over to the warp gate & entered the words "Delta Graceful Honor Gate" & warped into the area.

Xeraph looked at Raidon who walked up to him.
"Good, you're here...It seems it will be only us today, but that should be sufficient for this task. The Harbinger has appeared in Delta Graceful Honor Gate. It's mimicing a male Blade Brandier who was at level 96. However, his data has been rewritten, and the character now has infinite HP. There have been no casualties just yet, but it appears that C.C. Corp has yet to do anything about quarantining the area. We must hurry before anyone gets Pked by it, less they become comatose as well." Xeraph walked over to the warp gate. It had the same functionality as a Chaos Gate, allowing the members of Divinagga to warp anywhere for their @HOME. He entered the keywords, and the gate flashed an acknoledgement message.
"Well then, I will meet you there. Come to think of it, this is a good opportunity to show me how much your Phase Blade powers have progressed. I'm looking forward to it." Xeraph said as he gated out.

Zero said to himself. He then held his head in pain as a white noise came on the screen. "what the heck? what......was that sound?" Zero shook his head, but then started to here voices in his head. "awaken........Phase........Harbinger......." The voice said. Zero looked around confused & said "Harbinger?! what? Who's there? & what is this......Phase?" Zero then walked around the area as the white noise kept hurting his head

Delta Graceful Honor Gate? Why would a Harbinger be there and the C.C. Corp hasn't sucurded the area yet? Raidon leasoned to what Xeraph had to say and walked up to the gate after Xeraph. Infinate HP this time? Why that? Raidon then typed in the words Delta Graceful Honor Gate and was teleported to the area

He steps into the area and starts to look around for the Harbinger. Hm.... not many people are lvl 96 this shouldn't be hard to find. That when he hears the words "awaken Phase Harbinger." He then quickly looks around and sees that there is only one PC left in the area other than the Harbinger. Raidon quickly runs and moves himself infront of the the PC (Zero) and says "You need to leave the area now and don't be stuppid and try to fight him." He points to the Blade Brandier. He looks back at Zero. "NOW!" Raiond demainds Zero. He stays between the Harbinger and Zero untill he knows what Zero is going to do.

"Damn...a player just had to be here now..." Xeraph readied his broadsword and rushed over to them. However, when he got closer, he stopped. "Wait, this feeling...Is that boy...?" He looked at Zero, then smiled. "This must be fate." Xeraph walked over to Raidon and looked at the Harbinger. "It would be best for us to let him handle it..." He paused, thinking that Raidon must have thought he was insane. "Trust me. He will awaken, and this Harbinger is just the catlyst to do it." He put his sword away and turned twords Zero. "Well, would you mind showing me your powers on this character here. I am curious to see what you can do..." He said with a wry smile. This boy knew nothing of the dangers this Harbinger possessed, and if he failed to defeat it, he would end up like the others.

Zero looked at both of them & said "If i wanna fight this thing, then i'm gonna!!! No one will stop me." He then drew out his scythe & smiled. "I wanna become strong. I don't want others to think i'm weak. Not anymore..." He said as he charged at the Harbinger, with the white noise still echoing in his head. As he got closer & was about to attack, strange purplish symbols appeared over his body. "The time.....now.....awaken.......Macha" the voice said inside of him as he sliced through the Harbinger

Zero then stood up & turned to the Harbinger & noticed it was still standing. "what the?! I hit it with everything I had!!!! No.....this isn't fair!!! I'm not weak!!! I'M NOT!!!!" he yelled, as he held his head in pain & the symbols on his body started to glow. "I wanna be strong. I wanna get stronger!!! Help me be stronger!!!!!!!" He looked into the air as he called on the "power" inside him & yelled "MACHA!!!!!!" Just then, the area around him turned digital, almost like space & he looked behind him & saw a giant, cat/rose creature behind him.

Raidon looks over at Xeraph with a are you crazy look then steps aside. He watches as Zero charges the Harbinger and slashing threw it. Pure force won't stop this Harbinger. That's when he hears Zero scream about Macha. Macha? Is he really the tempter? Raidon looks over at Xeraph and says "So you know the whole time didn't you? Aren't you afraid that he won't be able to use data drain?" The he waits for Xeraph to answer as the fight goes on. When Raidon looks back to where Zero is he see a cat/rose creature rise from the digital disruption. Could this be what his ability is? Pondering the facts won't help and letting him die isn't an option as well. I guess I will just have to see how well he does and if he can use data drain. I won't let this get out of hand and I won't loose anyone of this importance. But this just might be the catalyst needed or has his full power awake already? Raidon keeps on staring at Zero and the Harbinger fighting pondering why Zero is just now showing his ability and just now showing that he can use Macha.

Zero looked at the cat/rose creature & thought "where am I? what is this place? &.....what is this thing?" "I am here to help you. You called on me" The cat had told him inside of his head. "I.....am Macha. & now.....I will always be here for you. I can help you." Zero looked at it & yelled "How?! what can i do?! what can YOU do to stop this thing?!" "Data Drain.....Data Drain......" Macha had said to him. Zero pondered on those words & looked at the Harbinger. "Data drain.....the power i heard....HE had......can i.....use it too?" he said to himself, as he pointed his arm at the Harbinger & a digital Cannon formed over his arm. Zero had smiled as he & Macha cried out "Data Drain!!!!" & shot a sphere of data at the harbinger & absorbed the data inside of it, as well as the core of data into the cannon. The Harbinger fell & Macha disappeared as the area changed back to normal & Zero fell onto his knees.

Phase Blades
Characters who are infused with the power of one of the eight phases. Each one has special abilities, along with Data Drain, the only way to stop a Harbinger. When their power is activated, they are encircled with digital armor similar to the avatar summoning state.
Rules:
1. Keep things PG-13. Romance is fine just don't go overboard.
2. No Godmodding. No character is immortal.
3. Post regularly. At least every other day.
4. Enjoy yourselves.
