For generations, animals have become toys and slaves to humans, being forced to do things against their will, powerless to stop it. For years they have endured suffering and abuse, and those who resisted ended up starving in the streets or killed. Local jaguar bandit Flare was once again stealing from the markets will her partner in crime, Aaron the leopard. All was well for them, before they came upon a dying old tabby. The brown tabby told them his story; of how his owners suddenly began abusing him, how he had suffered, how all the animals had become slaves or toys. Despite Flare and Aaron's efforts, the tabby soon died, but not before he made Flare promise him something: That she would do all she could to end this dark age, to overthrow the humans and help the animals regain their glory. Now, Flare and Aaron must recruit animals from every corner of the kingdom, and unite to win back their freedom. It will be the animals and their instincts against the humans. Alone they were weak, powerless. But together, they shall rise up to overrun the humans, or die trying. Still, there are the few that would betray the rebellion to earn fame and a life among the humans....
