Introduction
Life is just one big story. For some people, it's like a fairytale from a childhood book. For others, it's a horror movie. And for a few, it's just a reality TV show. Either way, there are only three sides to this whole tale. Heaven, Reality, and Hell. Only you can chose which side you're on.
Hell- You fall from nothing, and fall into nothingness. It's dark, and you can see the Hell Hounds guard the emotions locked up and tortured. It's just one big loop, one long road, with nothing on any side. It's emptiness, it's my heart. You can keep walking, but you'll appear in the same place. You're trapped. Just like I've been for so long. You see a girl about 18. She looks beautiful, yet dark and evil. She had long flowing hair, and black wings on her back. She turns to you from her bone-throne and nods. "I'm Kaori....welcome to your worst nightmare...." she smirks and chuckles. The place scares the shit out of you, but it intrigues you. You decide to stay for a second and see what happens.
Heaven- You fall out of the sky into what seems like a meadow. the sky is cloudy over it, as if about to rain, you sigh thinking that the door to heaven led somewhere else, like reality. you stand up and brush yourself off, you look around and see a lake at the end of the meadow and a tree over the lake. You walk around and notice a pixie of a red haired girl. She's talking to the people who are already there and smiling. You walk over to her and ask where you are. She replies "You're in heaven, deary. I'm Sora, nice to meet you." the girl looks quite familiar, and you know you've seen her before somewhere but you can't put your finger on it. She smiles and turns back. You notice that there are buildings, almost like Reality. You kinda like it here already, and you decide to stay for a bit.
Reality- You find yourself on the corner of a street. you look around and find a lot of places. You decide to look around for a bit before taking a look at all of the places. You see people on the other side of the street and they look as if they're in no hurry. You see restaurants, bars, merchant shops, even a lounge. You decide to take a walk around. It seems to look like Earth. Grass is green, sky is blue, and you see a flock of birds fly over head. You see a harbor and a few ships as you walk past a hill. Yup, it seems you have made it, welcome back to reality...A boy looks at you from across the street. He smiles and waves. "Hey there, I'm Nick. And I own this realm."

Kaori sighed and sat down on her throne, crossing her long legs. her dark eyes scanned the area. "Another boring day of this place. I never get to see anywhere different. I never get to do anything different." She twirled a small iron rod with her fingers, a bored expression on her face. She toyed with the gold bands on her wrists, after disposing of the rod into a pit of fire, melting it instantly from the intense heat. She brushed her dark hair back, since she left it down today, the long hair flowing down her back in curls. She sighed. "Hm, maybe I could sneak into Reality or Heaven and pay my... friends a visit." she said with a smirk. "Maybe I can wreck havoc in those realms, or just stir them up a little." she began to laugh, the sound of her voice echoing throughout the realm; a chilling sound.

Siro walked through the depressing atmosphere in Hell, with the screams of the souls begging for mercy, and then a sickening crunch. He was one of the lucky ones, in terms of physical pain, and only had to work as an assistant to the Realm Master, and more or less their.... pet. He'd been through quite a few of Realm Masters, most of them either getting killed launching invasions on other realms or making careless mistakes and disposed of. The current one, Kaori was one of the longest rulers so far, having ruled for at least seventy-years. He walked by a dungeon containing pitiful souls screaming for release and that they had done no wrong in life. A lot of them had lost a lot of weight, most from water loss. However, seeing as they were already dead, they couldn't really die again, only kept in torture and suffering 24/7. The tempature didn't affect Siro at all now, if at all, having been stuck for about two thousand years keeping records of Hell and happenings. Then thre was a creepy laugh through out the vast place and he shivered; it was Kaori, who was very sadistic possibly, who else kept whips on hand!? Sighing, he entered the throne room and said sarcasticlly, " Oh great Kaori, here are the current statistics you wanted. Do you need anything else oh great one?" He mockily kneeled but at the same time kept a hand on his gladius just in case.... not it could do much against a Realm Master...

Sora wandered around Heaven aimlessly. A realm master should be amused, no? It had just gotten a bit boring. Heaven was delightful, quite possibly the best place to cure a stroke of boredom, but having everything you ever wanted had gotten... dull. She decided to walk into one of the buildings, perhaps there was an angel to talk to. Ah, there was an assembly today, correct? A festival of sorts, where she could cure her social depravity. The redhead smiled on, making her way out of the complex and towards the lake where people were gathered.

Kaori's head whipped around as her assistant entered the throne room. She heard the sarcasm in his voice and his mocks and she sent him a death glare. "Child, you better watch your attitude. I'll admit, you've lasted the longest out of all of my assistants, but don't push your luck." she said icily. She stood, and stepped in front of him. "Thank you for the statistics. I don't see why all of this even makes a difference. When people die, we torture them, end of story. I don't need to keep track of them, but it's my "job"." she began rambling to herself. "Siro, child, give my friend Sora a call. I just might pay her a small visit. You see, there's an assembly today in Heaven, and I simply must be there." she smirked and whipped the space behind him, right in front of one of the tortured souls. "Leave, fool! This is none of your business to meddle in!" She twisted her wrist again, this time, hitting the tortured soul, causing a loud scream from it. "Leave, before I give you more punishment. Both of you."

Siro nervously got up and bowed and dragged the soul out and after closing the door, disposed of it and walked off and opened a portal to the realm of Heaven and hoped Sora wasn't busy. Some of the souls attempted to follow the blissful light and seemed to beg Siro to take them with him. He sighed and had them all dragged away by the guards for more torture. Stepping through, he found the anti-thesis of Hell. It was brighter, cleaner, cooler, and just the perfect place to spend eternity. He saw Sora walking aimlessly and said, " Sora, Kaori wants to " Visit' you and attened the assembly. I'd advise you tighten secuirty here and make sure she doesn't cause too much haovc. You know what happened the last time she was here."

Sighing, Sora replied, "You know she's welcome here, Siro. As long as she attempts to behave herself." Of course, last time Kaori visited, many of the angels were traumatized. Quite disappointing, actually. But it has been a while since the Hell Realm Master had talked to her. Sora would always consider her a friend. Even if the other used the term mockingly...
"Oh, and Siro," she continued, "Feel free to come too. There's a parade, I believe."

Siro sighed and said, " I was hoping you would tell her that she couldn't come, but I guess it doesn't matter. She'd probaly whip the shit out of me if I brought that news. And sorry, but i must refuse your offer, someone has to make sure the place doesn't collapse on itself. The last time I had to run an errand and Kaori decided to do something I barely made it back in time to make sure the souls we manage didn't go crazy. Either way I don't like to remember my past life, and parades remind me of it. Maybe some other time? And sorry about thosr angels from last time. Did they get any better?" He was prepared to leave when he thought of something, " I know it's a weird question from somehow who's second in command of hell, but should I treat the souls under my care, i don't know, better? They starve, beaten, tortured, and I just feel somethings wrong."

Kaori watched as her assistant left quickly. She gave a chuckle and walked to the door. She'd sensed a fresh soul for her. Smirking, she opened the doors and stepped closer to the gates from Hell to Life. Standing there with wide eyes was a young man, who didn't seem older than 50. "Child, you know why you are here, yes?" she asked, looking at him with deathly eyes. He was so stunned by her presence, he didn't answer for a moment, but she whipped his bare arm and got into his face all in an instant. "Let me ask again. Do you know why you are here?" she said through gritted teeth. Terrified, the poor soul fell to his knees and held his hands as if he was praying, looking up at her with desperate eyes.
"Please, I beg of you, have mercy on me. It was not my fault I sinned. My wife was the one who cheated me, she deserved what she got." He wailed to her. She heard his petty words and whipped his back. She would have none of it. "SILENCE!" she yelled, causing the soul to cease his words altogether. "My child, no matter what your explanations are, you are here for a reason." she turned her head to one of the demons also serving under her. She checked the soul's reason for being in this lonesome place. "Take him away! To the drowning chambers." She smirked and looked at the terrified soul. "Child, for drowning your wife, her brother, your own child. For all those innocent children whose virginity you've taken, the drowning chambers will be your home for eternity." The demons dragged the soul away, leaving the realm mistress to hear his delightful screams and wails. "Now where's that slow assistant of mine?"
In the drowning chambers, a soul was given back the need to breathe. Though, if he couldn't, it was impossible for him to die again, or lose consciousness. There, he was forever held in a sealed jar of water. No one was around him, no one would help him. He would feel the torture of not being able to breathe, and unable to feel the relief of dying.

Sora nodded back at Siro, "I do often feel sorry for those in Hell. No one deserves an eternity of suffering, so I'd try to ease it. Kaori would be angry, though. So it's not my place to decide..." Smiling, she murmured, "So, i assume you've realized the change, too? It feels wrong?." Quickly, Sora stopped. It also wasn't here place to forewarn others. She would probably just confuse the poor assistant. But she'd realized something was off. Maybe it was Kaori's boredom.

Kaori tapped her foot impatiently. Where was her assistant!? He was supposed to be back by now. Kaori looked at the mirror in front of her and smirked, fixing her appearance. 
She stepped through the portal to Heaven, wincing at the quick change of light. She looked very different and out of place, but she didn't mind. She could see angels quivering in fear, dead souls as well. She stepped forward, getting closer to her assistant and the Realm Mistress of Heaven. "Sora." she said calmly, giving an angel and quick glare for getting too closer. "How are you. Sora watched as Kaori stepped through the portal. She wasn't quite surprised, after all. "Yes, it has been too long. I'm fine, how about you?" Glancing back at the parade, she noticed some angels cower. They would be quite nervous to perform now. She gave them a reassuring nod, then turned back to Kaori. "The parade is almost ready. It will be about...five or ten minutes. I must get ready." She smiled wider, then went behind a large red curtain on the platform stationed near the lake.

Kaori shrugged, her dress moving perfectly with her shoulders. "I've been going through Hell. Literally." she said, sighing. She raised her eyebrow, hearing her speak of a parade. Kaori hadn't seen a parade since the day she died and left Reality. She watched as she left and looked around, smirking at the place. It was too... peaceful. Definately not something she was used to. She stood back, wanting to be left alone by the angels in the realm. She saw them talking to each other, whispering, but Kaori could still hear parts of it.
"It's her."
"The Devil herself?"
"Of course, who else would wear such dreadful attire to Heaven?"
Kaori sent them an icy glare, telling them that they'd better keep quiet. She knew she wouldn't last in this realm, she could already feel her power fading from the light. "Sora, I won't be staying too long." she knew Sora would be able to hear her, even if she spoke softly.

"Oh..." Sora was quite saddened. it was dreadfully boring if the only people attending the parade had seen it a thousand times before. Peaking out from under the curtains, she declared the traditional announcements. Things stating peace, welfare, happiness, etc. The same speech as last time. "And now, I present the Angel's Choir and the festival!" Winged men and women started singing atop a brilliant float, marching bands zooming by.
Returning to the ground, she walked back over to Kaori. "I know I sound to selfish saying this," she murmured, "but when you have everything you ever wanted, anything you could ever have, it's quite boring... At least in Reality, you had a chance. You could make it or break it, become lucky, yet there was always a new outcome."

Kaori shrugged. "In Hell, it's obviously quite different for the souls down there." she watched the angels going by with a disgusted look. She hated the singing. It wasn't that they were bad, it was just that she was a dark person in general. "Having whatever you want. It all depends on how you get what you want. If it's handed to you on a silver platter, then of course it will be boring. If you force people to bring it to you, and have fun with it, it never gets boring." she said, laughing softly. She spit into the distance, hitting one of the floats with great speed and force. "Have fun with what you can." she said, smirking as she saw the float wobble a little. "I don't miss Reality. So much to gain, but so much more to lose."

Siro looked at the two realm masters and bowed down. " Well Mistress Kaori, I take my leave. Just come back in time for uh never mind. Sora, see you around." He opened up a portal and stepped through the quickly shut it and prayed for the souls of the angels who had yet to know what Kaori could be like. Walking into the water torture chamber, he quickly fastened the chain and felt pity for the one locked forever in there. A demon handed him a list of condemened souls freshly arrived from reality and he sat on Kaori's throne hoping it could be his one day. A soul was pushed before him and he consulted the list. Apparently she killed her husband, his wife, children, and his nearly his entire family at a reunion out of jelously. Very elbarotely planned, suggesting it to the man. " Yes yes, your lucky the ruler of hell isn't here at the moment. I condem you to relive that torment you commited forever." The demons made a ghastly smile at this and Siro went through the list as the day in hell dragged on.

Kaori sighed and decided to be a bit nice this visit, for it washer first visit in over 70 years. She looked at the Realm Mistress and gave a quick nod. "Sora, I will be taking my leave as well." she turned and gave the angels a deathly glare. "I'll be back to visit. Feel free to come visit if you wish." she said, slipping through the portal her assistant had opened before it closed. Once her body disapeared through the portal, the dark, heavy aura was lifted from Heaven.
Back in Hell, Kaori paid a special visit to the souls locked here. She wondered if one day, she would see him pass through the gates. She doubted it. It had been over 70 years. There was no chance of him coming anymore. She went into a room that she barely even looked at, a special room that pained her to see, though she never would admit it. She traced her fingers over the cheek of a soul in front of her. "...my daughter..." she said softly. Yes, the whole room was of her family. Her family and friends never did have a good reputation. Murderers, drug dealers, sex offenders, that kind of family. Even her 6 year old daughter had murdered and done drugs. "Why did you follow my footsteps!?" she screamed, the great Mistress falling to her knees in just a moment of weakness. "Tell me Yuuki! Why!?"

Selvaria's eyes opened as a shining light fell on her face.

There was nothing around her; she seemed to be floating, and a pale light surrounded her like water.

Suddenly, her last memories flooded back to her.
She had been in a wood glen, near a village that had been terrorised by bandits and brigands...yes, she had been on her way to find the bandits, and rid the countryside of their menace once and for all.
But the bandits had spotted her and striked first. At first she had been able to defend herself from the motley band of brigands; but she could not fend them off for long. Soon she was overwhelmed, and then, she remembered, and then...
"Where am I?!" she called out, waiting for some answer.
"Wh..."

Kaori felt a disturbance from outside of Hell and raised an eyebrow. She removed herself from the room she was in and opened a portal to reality, checking if the disturbance was there. Usually, it was, but not this time. Confused, Kaori opened a portal to Heaven and saw someone there. "You're in Heaven." Kaori said simply. She didn't like exlaining to people that they were dead or so ething similar. Many people came to the realm master asking if or why they were in hell. "Welcome, I guess..."

"I'll come visit soon Kaori, I promise. It's just been to long..." Sora waved as the Hell Realm Master vanished, then walked to a small band of Heaven residents watching the parade. Suddenly, she sensed something. A new presence, one unfamiliar... She looked back and saw Kaori talking to her.
She smiled sweetly at Selvaria. She quickly left the group of angels to meet her, "Hello, dear. Welcome to Heaven." Tilting her head, she inspected the girl. Yes, she would be a perfect assistant. When Heaven's Mistress came to take over, Kaori immediately disappeared from the realm. "At least Hell doesn't have all the freaks" she said harshly to herself. She saw a long list of souls, too many. Why were there so many rotten people coming from Reality? Why couldn't there be something new? It was all the same. Murder, rape, anything like that. Kaori wanted something unique Brushing her hair out of her face, she walked to the gates of hell, which were just as intimidating as people thought. She saw a long line of souls and she sighed. "Too many..." she looked at the first name on the list and looked at the trembling soul.
"Riku Yashi. In Hell for murders, causing a.. war." she said surprised. "And... heartbreak.. What the hell!?" she threw the list at the unfortunate demon next to her. "What's wrong with this list!? Heartbreak shouldn't be on it. Only the things he's done to get him landed in this wretched, boring place!" she yelled, fury clear on her face and in her aura. Her aura was so dark that she was sure the other realms would feel it in some way or another. Her screams echoed throughout the three realms as well. "LOOK, FIX this list or else there WILL be consequences!" she said, whipping the demon beside her.
"And while I'm at it, where's that useless assistant of mine? Did he run off!?" she yelled, turning to the souls in front of her who were now shaking in fear. "Whenever he comes back, he'll pay."

Selvaria stared at the girl who had come to her and told her she was in Heaven. She could hardly believe what she was hearing. Selvaria had never been one to believe in Heaven or Hell.
The girl herself looked only fourteen...But Selvaria could tell the girl was much older, and perhaps much wiser, than Selvaria.

Kaori tried to calm herself, but ended up sitting on her throne, frustrated as always. So many things were going wrong. There was something different going on, something changing, but she didn't know what. Deciding it probably wasn't in her place to figure out, she tried to busy herself by training. Being the realm mistress of hell, she had to be in condition to fight the souls who got too resistant.
She took out her weapons, looking at all of them with a look an owner would give their pet.
