Ulgrothan the Wise stands at a towering eight and a half feet, with shoulders broader than any man's, a massive imposing hulk. His skin has bleached with age, and is light grey/white, yet still taught across his muscular frame. His right ear has ragged tears in it, and his left tusk is cut in half. He wears a massive, dark grey, cowled robe, that somehow allows him, despite his massive size, to easily go unnoticed in the shadows.

Personality

Ulgrothan is largely taciturn, and wise beyond even his long years. Whene he chooses to speak it is usually wise to listen, and often, when forced to engage in conversations, he will speak with short answers, or even answer with a question, leaving many confused. He rarely lies, but has mastered a method of misdirection in his speech that steers people towards the answers they search for, without revealing too much.

Equipment

Ulgrothan's robes are an equipment in and of themselves, enchanted to blend in with the shadows, and imbued with magic pockets capable of containing far more than it would appear. In his magical pockets he has many random and often useful items, but his primary item is a massive battle mace he often uses as a walking stick.

History

Not much is known about Ulgrothan before he came to Raygin, but he has had a succesful magic shop, selling artifacts, casting spells for wealthy merchants, and such, for over 50 years. He has become a staple, one of the most well known mages around.
