Description

Marcy has long dark chestnut hair with blond highlights, an olive skin tone, and slightly slanted dark blue eyes. She only stands at 5’6, and weighs 148 pounds with an athletic build. Her costume consists of a crimson long sleeve shirt with her logo, black jeans, boots, a matching black jacket, crimson fingerless gloves, and a black mask covering the top half of her face (like in the Incredibles).

Personality

Marcy is usually level headed, but has a temper when provoked. She also has an unfailing sense of humor that both tends to amuse and annoy her fellow heroes. She is however very brave (though not exactly bold) and has an unusual protective drive towards others.

Equipment

Overload’s only weapon outside her powers is a long metallic alloy staff that can shrink in on itself when she needs it too. She also has a red motorcycle

Powers:

1.) Explosive: When focused, Overload can accelerate the molecules of a small area to the point that it explodes. Ex: Focusing on a lock, exploding it, and being able to open the door.

2.) Hyper Acceleration: This kind of acceleration speeds Overload’s molecules to a speed that lets her pass through sold objects. It is very easy when just accelerating herself, but the more people and/or objects she accelerates the more difficult this becomes.

Weakness: Overload is weak in the matters of human necessity, and has no superhuman strength or invulnerability. In a sense, she’s fragile compared to some super heroes. She also has become hyper-sensitive to cold weather, and finds her powers don’t work as well, if at all when she’s cold.

History

Marcy was born and raised with her two parents and twin brother in Queen’s landing. A tomboy by nature, and supportively nurtured at a young age by her local cop father, Marcy was always active in sports like soccer, basketball and track, where she particularly excelled. Unfortunately, There neighbourhood also had to deal with the constant gang violence in the area, and when she and her twin Max were only eight, they lost their father in a police raid. It is perhaps for that reason that Marcy has always tried her best to be thorn in the side of the gangs plaguing Roleplay City. After High School, her brother Max took after their father, and became a police officer, while Marcy became the first in their family to attend college, to major in business. It was during her junior year in college that the accident that gave her to her powers occurred. Having gained permission from her professor to stay late to work on a project, she was the only one there when a faction of l33t sp3ak broke into the computer and chemistry lab area planning to steal some of the compounds and equipment. In an attempt to stop them and buy time for the police who would surely be coming, Marcy was doused in an experimental chemical substance know only as MK3-Fussion that the university was given funding to study. This substance changed her molecular makeup, and resulted in the powers she has now. Always having wanted to put gangs in her city to an end, Marcy dawned the costume and became Overload to protect Roleplay City, though her day job is working at Roleplay City Bank.
