Introduction
Mankind dominates the earth, ruling over its creatures, yet they do not do so because they are the strongest of the species. No, they rule only because we, demons live in the hidden world among them. We populate underground cities, deep beneath their subways and in caves where rumors abound among men that no human can enter and live. We are stronger than humans in every way, but why do we live in the shadows?
They have numbers, for one. The last time we tried to fight a war to stop the evils of mankind's ambition and greed, the war almost caused this earth to die. We couldn't risk that and decided to hide among them, interact and hopefully foster a peace between our two races. That mankind will come to learn from us, and respect the circle of life that drives this planet, instead of destroying it for their technology and building up of riches on earth.
But there are those among us who would wish to wage war on humans once again, who believe that mankind should pay for their crimes against the life of this planet and be hunted to extinction. They are the ones who yell, "Why should we hide?" and are working to start a war once again. They call themselves the Angels of Vengeance, commonly called "Angels".
Have no doubts about it, there are humans who know about us, with both good and evil intentions. You are a hero, maybe even a noble among demons. You believe that one day every race on this planet can learn to co-exist in peace. Who will you trust? Who will you fight? Your actions determine the fate of the world, of your own race. There are enemies, both human and demon, who want you to fail in your cause. Will we be able to foster peace? Or fail and live to see mankind and demons fight and bring about an apocalypse once again?

So basically, you're a demon (vampire/werewolf/elf, etc. feel free to use your imagination) proceeding to fight the Angels, either as a group or individual, though you can choose to join up in the RP or not.

OOC Notes
Atreus sat quietly in the corner of the bar, drinking his whiskey. The bar was filled with demons, and he was the only vampire there. It worked for him, the vampires that lived in the underworld were too consumed by their own physical desires to cherish the immortality that they had. The irony of living eternally living was that they were all... dead on the inside. Mere shells of existence. Atreus was not one of them.
He stood up and waved to the bartender, who merely grunted in reply as Atreus left the bar. He headed to the Portal, a secret opening that lead to the surface - the human world - and ensured his spear was securely strapped to his back. He had an important mission tonight, and he was going to see it to its bitter end.

OOC Notes
Chrome kept her eyes on the ground as she walked. It was one of her guidelines for existance; don't make eye contact and you don't have to socialize. Not that she was unsocial.. Well, maybe she was. She didn't care either way.
Her heels thwacked the pavement with each step she took, drifting from 'The Place You Were' to 'The Place You're Heading', on the road of 'No Where' of her pointless journey from one block of the city to another. She pushed her hands further into the pockets of her jacket, lifting her shoulders closer to her ears as if she were cold.
A group of thugs with a not-so-pleasant demeanor sitting in an alleyway began to stir as she drew closer, their grins only a little too friendly. She sighed heavily through her nose, just a couple of horny guys prowling around for the freshest hooker. And Chome was not a hooker. Promptly, she ignored them as she strolled past, not noticing if they spoke to her or not.
After all, she didn't care either way.
