Introduction
High School Bites. Majorly.
Especially for sixteen year-olds Kaylee and Mari! Being only the second and third half-Vampires in existence (Vlad Tod, their cousin, being the first), life isn't exactly dancing sugarplum fairies, unicorns and rainbows.
For one: it's really kinda odd going through Vampire training, trying not to eat people, trying to meet friends who don't look at them like they're freaks. All that good stuff. Oh, and side note to Mari and Kaylee - "It's not funny to joke about being a Vampire with your 'fake fangs'!".
Welcome to Los Angeles High, Kaylee and Mari.
The two have moved to LA from Bathory at the age of sixteen since their father, Otis wanted them to move around a bit more.
Kaylee and Mari are only a little worried about the move, though they truly are realizing that being a half-Vampire is not all that fun, for a new prophecy has recently been revealed, speaking of two Half-Vampires, much like Vlad. Another psycho Vamp is out for blood - literally. Of course it is Kaylee and Mari's blood that he wants, to use become a 'God', for the two have the Immortality of a regular Vampire, they heal, grow, choose to stop aging whenever, they have abnormal speed, strength, agility and mind-control abilities - even for a Vampire. In his eyes that would make him a God, though he's taking his own sweet time in taking their blood, making a game out of it. In Mari's words, "Wow, you've seen way too many horror movies, buddy. SCARY MOVIE!.
Enter, two teenage Slayer boys, best friends, whom have Elemental Powers for Lightening and Ice, searching for Vampires to randomly and brutally murder in the middle of the night, little do they know that two students in their own school are Half-Vampires. Though, Kaylee and Mari don't know that the two are Slayers - and it might be more than a little bad that the two are crushing on the Slayers.
