Lily sat with her fox at the platform, waiting for any of her friends to arrive. An owl flew by and she smiled up at it. It dropped a package in her hands and she smiled, already unwrapping it. Hedwig landed on her bags and she smiled, taking a treat tout of her pocket and handing it to him. She finished unwrapping the package and immediately her jaw dropped. A Firebolt! There was also a note. "Here's to you, good luck with tryouts today! -Dad" she smiled, setting down the broom next to her bags before taking out a piece of parchment and a pen and writing. "Thanks dad! I'll do my best today! I'll also remember to use the stuff you taught me over summer break. -Lily" She folded it and handed it to Hedwig, who, after grabbing it, immediately flew off. She sat down again and looked at her fox. "It's a firebolt bella!" she took the broom in her hands and gawked at it. "Wow." She opened up one of her bags and took out a bottle of butterbeer. One of the many she planned to sneak onto the train. She took one large sip and shuddered at the sudden heat that shot through her body.

Rose sow her cousin and waved, "Lily," she said walking to her. "How are you? I haven't spoken to you in so long I was beginning to think you went coming this year." she smiled then hugged her. "how is your family?" she asked.

Lily had been taking another sip and almost choked when Rose hugged her. She held back the coughs and sputters and smiled. "Well, we were in paris. Sorry. I meant to owl you, but James kept bugging me. Now, look at this!" she grabbed the Firebolt and showed it to Rose.

"oh my God!" Rose said looking at the broom. "That's so friken awesome... your dad gave it to you? or did you take it from the closet again?" she smiled playing with her. "All I got from my mom was Crookshanks' kitten... she pulled the cat from her bag. "and he's hardly a kitten any more..." she paused holding the cat in her arms. "Your really lucky... come on lets find Scorpius" she smiled, her cousin knew of her crush on Scorpius, despite her own father's warning about him but she didn't care she sill liked Scorpius Malfoy.

"He's not here yet lovebird, nor is Regulus. But in the meantime... have one." she set down the broom and took out another butterbeer, handing it to Rose. She thought of the two Malfoy brothers, pureblood gits, but nonetheless, were their friends. How? That's unknown

"I just can't wait to see him, I haven't seen him in so long I think i've forgotten what he looks like" she sighed scratching Salem's ear. "God Rose..." a voice muttered from the cat. "You really need to paint your nails"
"Shhush" she whispered, she looked at Liliy. "Sorry he supposed to stay quite till we got on the train."

"If I'm supposed to tell you to paint your nails then I agree with the cat. Paint them! Hopefully red!" She showed her the red color of her own nails before looking to the cat. "Any chance we could turn the cat red?" She teased, the butter beer already getting her slightly drunk. Oh what her parents would say if they saw her now.
