Name: Ewan Selwyn

Gender: Male
Appearance: Ewan has short blonde hair and dark green eyes that usually hold contempt or undue pride in himself. He tends to dress slightly raggedly, as if to show how little he thought of his family's wealth, though he still flaunts it. Ewan also has a deep tan from spending time in the sun much of the time and he tends to dress in gold and scarlet since he is in Gryffindor and is proud of his House. Around his neck, he wears a golden pendant shaped like an S, standing for Selwyn, his family.
Blood-Status: Pure-Blood
Personality: Ewan is a brave and bold person, there's no doubting that. However, he is also extremely arrogant and proud of both his heritage and magical power, which he tends to lord over the rest of his classmates and friends. He also believes that Gryffindor is the best House at Hogwarts and being part of it automatically meant you had some form of talent. After all, Gryffindor is the house of heroes and even Neville Longbottom managed to become something resembling cool. Unfortunately, this causes him to look down on members of other houses initially. Despite all this, deep down, Ewan is a good person despite being a bully.
History: Ewan was born in a rich pure-blood family so, naturally, he grew up rather spoiled, though not as spoiled as say Draco Malfoy or Dudley Dursley. Nonetheless, he is used to getting what he wants and being told he's the best. Thus, he gets rather indignant if it's insinuated that he's not the best or if he believes someone is trying to "show him up". Ewan regards himself as the big man on campus, though he is careful to keep that opinon away from those older than he is. Ewan is a good student, though not the best. He dismisses this fact by stating that the spells they are taught are dull or not very useful. Indeed, he's learned more juvenile spells and hexes. When he's at home, he enjoys the fact that he lives in a huge mansion and has access to the best establishments of wizarding society. Secretly, he dreams of being Minister of Magic, but is now content to swagger around campus with his "friends".
