Gasoline || Halsey
"Are you insane like me? Been in pain like me?
Bought a hundred dollar bottle of champagne like me?
Just to pour that motherfucker down the drain like me?
Would you use your water bill to dry the stain like me?

Are you high enough without the Mary Jane like me?
Do you tear yourself apart to entertain like me?
Do the people whisper 'bout you on the train like me?
Saying that you shouldn't waste your pretty face like me?

And all the people say,

'You can't wake up, this is not a dream,
You're part of a machine, you are not a human being,
With your face all made up, living on a screen,
Low on self esteem, so you run on gasoline.'"

Hit Me Like A Man || The Pretty Reckless
"I am strong, love is evil
It's a version of perversion that is only for the lucky people
Take your time and do with me what you will
I won't mind, you know I'm ill, you know I'm ill

So hit me like a man and love me like a woman
Buried and sad, look me in the eyes, I want it
One will give you hell, one will give you heaven
Hit me like a man, love me like a woman
Love me like a woman."

|| Basics ||
"I'm not insecure in the slightest."
  • Eyes Tiger has dark grey-blue eyes
  • Hair Shoulder length blonde hair.
    Naturally dirty blonde, dyed bright
    platinum blonde.
  • Height She's rather short at, 5'2"
  • Weight Her height makes her rather
petite, weighing only about 112 lbs.
Though small, she is quite nicely
    curved.

|| Piercings ||
"I have one or two."
Tiger has both of her nipples pierced, as well as her septum, both lobes, and three in her left cartilage.

|| Tattoos ||
"Other then rough sex, it's the best kind of pain."
Image || Image || Image
Tiger is absolutely covered in tattoos from head to toe. She's addicted to them and is constantly getting more. She has both arms almost entirely sleeved as well as two significantly large thigh pieces, a piece resting at her panty line, some foot tattoos, one under her breasts, and a large one that covers her entire back.
Some notable ones include the large Audrey Hepburn tattoo on her left thigh as well as an intricate tree on her right thigh. She also has her husband's name, Clayton, tattooed at the base of her neck as well as a spider on her under arm. This spider was a huge mistake, and something she got for Cody Spyder, as a symbol to him.

|| Scars ||
"I'm blessed, truly."
Despite her rather tumultuous life, Tiger has very few scars, and the ones she does have are mostly hidden within her many tattoos. She has a small one on her left temple from a fight she got into with her Clayton. After a heated argument, he was attempting to rape her, but she was fighting back pretty hard. In the commotion,
he slammed her head extremely hard against a bedpost, knocking her out cold and giving her a concussion.
Her largest scar is actually two scars, one on the outside of her right thigh, the other on the inside. She was lying on her side in bed one night, sleeping, when her brother came home. Furious with her for something she'd done, he was armed with a knife and brought it down so hard on her leg, that he stabbed clean through it.
Earning this scar nearly killed her.
Another close call with death earned her a scar just under her right collar bone. Her brother was a terrorizing sociopath, and so were many of his friends. One evening, a hunter friend of his thought it would be fun to attempt to "hunt" her. He set her loose in the woods and chased her down with a gun. At some point, she tripped over a root, and whirled around just as the shot was fired. In the end, the bullet that hit her just narrowly missed her heart. Her brother and his friend callously dumped her at the door of the E.R after that and sped off.

Nicotine || Panic! At the Disco
"It's better to burn than to fade away
It's better to leave than to be replaced
I'm losing to you, baby, I'm no match

I'm going numb, I've been hijacked
It's a fucking drag
I taste you on my lips and I can't get rid of you
So I say damn your kiss and the awful things you do

Yeah, you're worse than nicotine, nicotine [2x]

Just one more hit and then we're through
'Cause you could never love me back
Cut every tie I have to you
'Cause your love's a fucking drag
But I need it so bad"

|| Personality ||
"I'm a fucking hurricane baby, stay out of my way."
Rebellious → Tiger is a wild child through and through. She may enjoy being dominated sexually, but she absolutely does not simply let people steamroll over her. If you push her, she'll push back until she gets her way because she's relentless and stubborn as an ox. She hates being told no or what to do and has a huge problem with authority, the more you try to make her do what you want, the less inclined she is to behave. In fact, she sort of gets a kick out of doing what she's not supposed to. She likes to push buttons and bend rules until you're tearing your hair out with frustration while she just watches and laughs.

Impulsive → Tigerlily lives her life with reckless abandon. Growing up, she never really knew which day was going to be her last, so she tends to live every single day like it's the day she'll die. She does things on a whim, that seem to make absolutely no sense to anyone around her, and she rarely thinks things through before acting. If she wants to do something, you can bet your ass she'll do it. She has almost no fear whatsoever and doesn't seem to care about consequences, so she makes rash, impulsive choices without really considering what might come of them. This often gets her into trouble, but even so, there doesn't seem to be any situation she can't somehow slip herself out of.

Addictive → Danger, rough sex, drugs, tattoos there is absolutely nothing in this world that Tiger cannot turn into an addiction. If something makes her feel good, she becomes instantly and hopelessly attached to the point of sickness. She can often be cold, callous, and unfeeling, but it's this numbness that has her ever searching for true feeling. Anything and everyone that makes her feel even a glimmer of emotion becomes an obsession for her, and, once attached, it's nearly impossible for her to break that need. Someday, her addictions will truly be the death of her.

Cold → Many who meet her say that Lily has no heart. Growing up with a terror of a brother like hers, she has learned how to bury her emotions so deep inside her it's truly as if she has none whatsoever. She can say and do astonishing things without so much as blinking, and seems to be like a brick wall, emotionally. This is why she has such an addictive personality. She's been burying her emotions for so long, it's as though she's perpetually numb now, so she's ever searching for something or someone who can make her feel again, and breathe life back into her callous soul.

Manipulative → Tiger is truly a master of manipulation. There is almost nothing she does better then bend the minds of others for her own selfish reasons. She seems to be able to know exactly what a person wants to hear after no more than five minutes of conversation. She can get almost anyone to do anything she wants them to, and the art of it is that, most of the time, you don't even realize you've been manipulated until after the fact. It comes as easily as breathing to her,and sometimes, even she doesn't realize that she's doing it. She's been in trouble with the law more times then she can count, but the number of times she's actually been arrested or charged with her numerous crimes is surprisingly small, simply because she has a natural talent for talking her way out of the trouble she's always getting herself into.

|| History ||
"I've been through shit you wouldn't believe."
For Tiger, life started out pretty benign. Sure, she lived in a shithole town, her family was right on the verge of poor, and she only knew her father through an old photograph, but for the most part, her early childhood was fairly uncomplicated. Her brother, during these days, was an unbearable shit, always killing neighborhood cats and cruelly taunting herself and her twin sister, but for the most part, her mother was able to control his wild antics and things were never worse then the occasional shove or smack.

As she got older, however, her brother only seemed to get worse. It became very apparent that he wasn't simply troubled, he was a complete fucking sociopath.
He didn't seem to have any regard for life, and was very outwardly charming, but upon closer inspection, you could see an emptiness in his eyes. He was entirely devoid of any normal human emotion, even though he was artfully skilled at faking it.

When she and her twin were seven, her brother no longer seemed satisfied with torturing and killing small animals, and his attention shifted suddenly to his sisters. He would beat them physically, burn them with lighters, take them out into the woods and tie them to trees, and, even sexually abuse and terrorize the two of them. To make matters worse, he had three close friends that also seemed to share his psychopathic tendencies and often joined in on his sick games.

Things escalated once again when she and her sister were thirteen. Her mother, their only safety net from their brother's terrors, died suddenly in her sleep of a brain aneurysm. Draco, her brother, was, unfortunately, eighteen at the time and was able to charm Indiana family court into allowing him custody of both his sisters leaving to two of them utterly at his mercy.

Her only escape from the pure hell that was her home were the friends she made in school. She and her sister spent as much time as possible with the other nine troublemakers, going to parties, getting into trouble, and basically doing everything in their power to keep themselves busy and out of reach of their brother.

At sixteen, shit really hit the fan for Tiger when she lost her other half. Draco got carried away with one of his "games" and, right before her eyes, murdered her twin sister and then forced her to help him bury the body and cover up the crime. It was after this incident that she couldn't take it anymore.

She moved out of her own home and in with a close friend of hers, Jordan. The two of them were essentially a couple without the official label and she sought solace with him after the death of her sister. Living together, they grew even closer, and, one night in bed, he asked her to marry him and she gladly agreed. They were engaged for less then a year before she, once again, lost the only person that kept her heart beating.

Her closest friend, Delaney, left town, leaving Cody in complete heartbreak, and it was to Tiger he turned to for comfort. Despite her love for Jordan, Lily's impulsive behavior got the better of her, and she began sleeping with Cody, and wasn't exactly good at hiding it either, causing even more problems with Jordan then the two of them already had.

In the end, he'd had enough. Previously, he'd promised her a thousand times that he'd take her with him to college when he went away, but when it finally came time for him to leave, he packed his things in the middle of the night and left her alone and heartbroken. Without Jordan and Delaney, it seemed Tiger's only remaining option was to move back in with her brother. However, she couldn't bear the thought.

Instead, she left town at eighteen years old without even so much as a penny to her name. She ended up in L.A, shooting porn to make quick cash until, eventually, one of her costars fell head over heels for her and, though she didn't love him, she agreed to marry him for the sake of not being alone. Their relationship was complete shit, and they left the porn industry only for him to buy a strip club and force her to dance in it. She hates him with every bone in her body, but refuses to admit it, even to herself.

As much as she liked getting her way, Lily hated fighting with Jordan. She was almost tempted to turn back around and head back to the room to make up with him, she didn't want to spend the night at the bar getting wasted only to go home with some stupid asshole that wasn't half as good in bed as Jordan. Still, she was too prideful to turn around. She wanted to show Jordan that she would get her fucking way and he couldn't stop her.

However, she didn't get very far. As soon as the elevator doors opened, Lil took a step to get off and was shoved right back on by Romeo. Him and three other guys stepped into the elevator with her and what happened next was completely fucking humiliating. She demanded to know what the fuck was going on, but he wouldn't say a word to her, only that she was in trouble and she knew she'd finally pushed Jordan over the edge. Whatever was going to happen would be fucking horrible.

Once the elevator reached their floor, Romeo grabbed her by the upper arm and dragged her so fast down the hall, she was actually stumbling to keep up. She tried to fight him off, but it was pointless. She managed to slip his grip at one point and sprint about halfway down the hall before one of his guys caught her and dragged her right back. They threw her into the room next to the one she was sharing with Jordan.

Romeo pointed a gun at her and told her to give him any drugs she had, but she just glared at him silently, knowing he wouldn't shoot her. Jordan may have ordered them to rough her up or whatever, but he wouldn't let them kill her. His eyes narrowed in irritation as he gestured to one of his guys with his gun. She was shoved backwards, onto the bed. Her dress was ripped off over her head, her bra was searched and her shoes were also pulled off and searched. They found a bag of pills in her bra as well as a bag of coke in one of her heels.

After they'd searched her, one of Romeo's guys grabbed her by her hair and dragged her to the bathroom, causing her to let out a shriek of pain. Her head was still sore from Jordan being rough with her hair earlier. She kicked at him, but one of the other guys joined in to try and restrain her and she screamed as she saw that the tub was filled with water and ice. They were going to sober her up and it was going to be brutal.

They dunked her head in the tub over and over again, slapping her a few times across the face as well, not hard enough to really injure her, but hard enough for it to be shocking. When they were finished, they locked a large collar around her throat and then dragged her through the door on the wall that was shared with hers and Jordan's room, and tossed her down at the end of the bed, at Jordan's feet. She was shivering from the ice cold water, in nothing but her soaked bra and panties, and she knew she had to look fucking pathetic. She wanted nothing more then to cry, but she wouldn't let herself. She wasn't going to cry at his feet like a child, she glared up at him hatefully, wishing more then ever that she could get back at him somehow, for what he'd just put her through.

She hated the cocky smirk on his lips, she wanted to slap it right off his fucking face. “What did we talk about?” He asked calmly, scolding her like a parent scolding a rebellious child and her jaw clenched tightly. “Your attitudes gotta change. You thought it was a fucking joke?!” He yelled and she couldn't keep herself from wincing. She wasn't afraid of much, and, up until now, she hadn't been afraid of him, but the fact that he was sitting there with so much darkness in his eyes and she had a fucking collar locked around her neck was honestly terrifying.

He grabbed the collar, dragging her across the room towards the closet and she struggled against him as much as she could, but it didn't matter. Not only was he stronger than her anyway, she was also weak and shivering from Romeo's attack. There was a chain attached to the wall inside the closet and her eyes grew wide the second she saw it, knowing what was about to happen to her. He hooked the chain to the collar like she was his disobedient pet and her entire body tensed. She wanted to deck him right across the face and scream a thousand obscenities at him. “It’s real interesting the things you can request in hotel rooms or anywhere really.” He laughed darkly, and if she wasn't stone cold sober and weak as fuck from Romeo, she'd already be screaming her head off at him.

“I can take away every privilege you have.” He breathed, kneeling in front of her. The look in her eyes reminded her too much of the look in Draco's, when he used to tie her up and torment her, she had to look away, no matter how badly she wanted to be able to glare him down. It didn't matter though, because he reached out then and grabbed her hair, even tighter than he had before and she couldn't hold back the whimper that escaped as he forced her to look at him. “No one knows where you are. No one is going to ask about you.” He breathed, making her heart race, knowing he was right. She was his secret. The only person that knew she was with him that wasn't on Jordan's payroll was Clayton and he sure as hell wasn't a knight in shining armor.

He kissed her hard then, but Lily didn't kiss him back. She kept her lips sealed tight so he couldn't slip his tongue in her mouth, and, had he tried to, she would have bit it hard. He pulled away then and stood back up, and she glared up at him angrily. “I’m going to treat you like a whore as long as you want to act like one.” He shrugged and she hated that, even through her anger, his words cut her deeply. “You want drugs? You want me to fuck you? Those are privileges.” He told her and she knew she'd pushed him too far over the past month. She'd finally brought out the monster that he'd been shoving down and, if she was being honest, it scared the living hell out of her. “Now I’m going to go enjoy fucking a stripper while you hang out here.” He taunted, turning and heading towards the door.

Lily knew she shouldn't antagonize him. The best thing for her to do would be to submit. She should just start crying, and apologizing, and begging for his forgiveness because she knew that was what he wanted from her. He wanted to break her so that she was perfectly submissive to him. He could do whatever the fuck he wanted and she had to do exactly as he wanted. She'd been there before. She'd been Draco's bitch, and Clay's bitch, she knew what it was like to lose all sense of pride, but it also hadn't exactly been easy for them to get her to that point. She'd gone through a world of torment and abuse before she'd finally let them break her. She'd be damned if she was going to let Jordan get the satisfaction of her tears just by chaining her up in a closet. Draco's fucking friends used to set her loose in the woods and hunt her and her sister with guns just for laughs.

Tiger jumped to her feet and lunged at Jordan, wanting to attack him with whatever strength she had left before he could get away. The chain was too short, so she couldn't reach him, so she just stood there instead, as far as the chain would let her go and glared at him hatefully. "Fuck you!" She spat bitterly, knowing she was bound to piss him off further, but not caring. If he was going to break her, she was going to make it hard on him. She wanted him to have to do things to her that would tear him up inside. If he was going to act like a monster, she was really going to turn him into one.

"You think this scares me?" She laughed confidently, even though the words themselves were a lie. She was afraid, and hurt, and wanted nothing more than to curl up in a ball and cry her eyes out over the way Jordan was treating her, but she wasn't going to give him the fucking satisfaction. "I've survived worse you fucking pussy." She hissed, literally spitting at him because it was all she could do with the chain holding her back. She walked away from him then and went to sit against the wall, like she wasn't chained to a wall in a closet and he hadn't threatened to leave her there and fuck another girl, like she was just sitting there casually, waiting for him to come back from the store or something. "Have fun baby, wear a condom, wouldn't want you to get any STDs." She scoffed and shrugged like it didn't bother her that he would be fucking someone else, even though it was going to torture her.

Delaney shoved him off then and his jaw clenched. He had half a mind to push her against the wall and not give her a choice. They had a moment alone, and it was baffling to him that she wasn't already pulling his clothes off. They'd been jumping each other every second they got for the past month and a half and he was too impatient to talk because if she wanted to talk, that usually meant they were actually going to fight. Usually about James or Louie.

Still, despite his hunger for her, Cody just watched her as she casually lit herself a cigarette and took a long drag, waiting for whatever was so important that they couldn't fuck first. “I fucking hate when you touch her.” She purred, spitting his words right back at him with a scoff and he just rolled his eyes. “So, I guess we're even.” She shrugged, and he wanted to slap her. As much as he liked knowing he could make her jealous, it was starting to irritate the fuck out of him. Jealousy was usually the source of their fights and it was going to get one or both of them killed if they couldn't figure out how to hide it better.

She took another casual drag off his cigarette and Cody sighed and lit one of his own, figuring if they weren't going to fuck, he might as well smoke too. He only got to take a drag or two off of it, however, before Lane pulled him back over to her and he flicked it away. She wrapped her arms around his neck and he slipped an arm around her waist, holding her tight against his body, loving the way she felt against him. She pulled his lips down to hers and gave him a soft kiss that made him groan.

“You’re mine.” She breathed, her forehead resting against his, her eyes closed, and there was something in her tone that told him that statement wasn't optional and he knew it was true. He was hers and always would be. He'd been wrapped around her finger hopelessly since he was a teenager and it was never going to end. She'd always have him in her back pocket. She kissed him again, and he kissed back, loving the way her fingertips on his chest set his skin on fire. “You always have been.” She admitted, calmly, fingertips slipping under his shirt to tease his waistline, driving him wild.

“So, what do we do?” She whispered, making him raise a brow. It sounded like she was done with the whole damn thing. Like she didn't want to hide behind Louie and James anymore. “Because I’m tired of hiding.” She breathed, undoing his jeans and he knew he should stop her before she convinced him to do something dangerous, but he also didn't want to because he wanted the same thing she wanted. He wanted James out of the way for good, even if he wasn't sure he was up to what she was about to ask of him.

Lane started rubbing him and Cody couldn't help but lean into her touch and groan as her lips trailed his jaw. Her touch was like nothing else on earth. He was having a hard time not pulling her jeans down and fucking her before she could say anything else. “He has no family.” She whispered, breath against cheek and his jaw clenched, knowing what she was implying, and having a hard time resisting it because of the way she was touching him. “He’s made a lot of enemies.” She told him ruthlessly setting up her ex husband for murder.

Cody let out another deep groan. "I'm not a murderer." He breathed, struggling to resist her before he grabbed the back of her neck and slammed his lips hard against hers, growling into them like she was both pleasing and torturing him at the same time. "But I think I could be for you." He whispered against her lips, giving in. He knew it was a horrible idea that was likely to blow up in his face, but if she wanted him to kill James, he would do it. All she had to do was ask and he'd give her the entire world.

Delaney knew it was awful. Fuck, James had been there for her even after she’d cheated on him. He’d brought her back, given her a second chance. He’d been funding her fucking life when she’d been with another man. Yet, here she was in the early moments of plotting to murder him. If it catapulted her to the forefront of Cody’s life and put a definite wedge between the time Cody spent with Louie though, James was well worth the sacrifice. She’d been in love with Cody for so long that James seemed to be the only thing standing between her being able to officially have Cody. She knew deep down there were about a million other things that stood between her and her teenage dream, but this seemed like a quick fix to age old problem. Despite the fact, that it was the equivalent of simply putting a band aid over a bullet hole.

For starters Delaney had a bad habit of falling for men, when she was already in a relationship. She had a habit of cheating because she couldn’t say no to the attention. It wouldn’t matter how head over heels she was for Cody, she’d fuck it up time and time again. She was an expert at causing herself misery and if Cody didn’t kill her she’d end up killing herself. She bit her lip loving the noises that Cody was making and that she was the reason for it. She loved fucking him, he was the only person on the face of the planet that could make her crimple with a single touch and she both hated and loved him for that.

"I'm not a murderer." he breathed and she couldn’t help the smirk that crept onto her lips, because she knew she had him. He gripped the back of her neck, he kissed her hard and she couldn’t help the moan that escaped her lips. She was helpless to his kiss. She couldn’t help but smirk against the kiss as he let out a noise of twisted with both pain and pleasure. “But I think I could be for you." he whispered against her lips, causing her to let out a deep moan, like the thought of Cody killing someone for her turned her on even more.

It crossed her mind for only a moment as she slipped down to her knees in front of him, that Cody was simply agreeing to her request in order to shut her up and fuck him already. Even if that was the case, the simple fact that he’d considered it was honestly enough. They’d probably get even more fucked up then they were and they’d forget this conversation even happened. She yanked down his pants and boxers a bit more, before she started blowing him right there in the alley way. When she finished blowing him she smirked standing back up, figuring that was all they had time for as he zipped up his jeans and she wiped the corners of her mouth. She ran her fingers through her hair, starting to sober up a bit.

She pulled Cody’s lips to hers once more, before the back door swung open causing her to jump. Her eyes flicked to where James now stood her blood running cold. He had a darkness in her eyes that reminded her of the night he’d found out about her and Alex. He shook his head.

“Are you fucking kidding me?!” James yelled, his eyes trained on Delaney like she was the only one in the alley way. It was still painfully obvious that her and Cody had just got done doing something. “Let’s go.” He demanded, causing her jaw to clench. “Now Lana.” He hissed. He wasn’t blaming Cody, in fact he’d probably still be friends with Cody after this, he’d just lock Lane in the hotel room for the rest of her life. Lane’s eyes flicked to Cody for a moment before she started towards James. “I’m going to beat your fucking ass.” He cursed as she got closer to him. James knew Laney's personality and he probably assumed that she was the one who'd come onto Cody.

Jordan hated seeing her weak. He hated seeing her even half as bad as she looked when she’d come to him over a month ago. He was painfully in love with her. He’d found her in his best friend’s arms. He’d saved her from her abusive husband. He was doing everything in his power, spending tons of money to get her marriage annulled. He’d given her everything. Money when she asked for it, endless amount of drugs, and a fucking entourage to make sure she was safe. He was around enough to fuck her, but not around enough to really control her because he was busy with his career. Yet, none of that was enough. He didn’t know what else to do then turn into the very monster that she’d runaway from on more than on occasion, yet he still wasn’t sure that would do it. It killed him to know that after all these years, nothing he did was good enough for her, the same way nothing he’d ever done had been good enough for his dad.

Hell, he hadn’t even stepped out on her with his own girlfriend. He’d tried sobering up, tried keeping his temper at bay. It was starting to seem like she just didn’t give a shit. That she’d never love him the way he loved her. It was a tell-tale sign when he had to revert to chaining her up like a wild animal just to scare her into submission, although it didn’t seem like that even phased her.

He heard her footsteps behind him, before he heard the clinking of the chain and he clinched his jaw preparing himself for what was coming next. He knew she’d spite something cruel and hurtful at him. She’d say something he deserved to hear. It would still piss him off, it didn’t help that he had drugs still lingering in his system.

"Fuck you!" She spat hatefully, causing his insides to crawl. He didn’t want to believe that she could honestly hate him. She had to know he was doing this because he had no other fucking idea how to get her to listen. He wasn’t asking her to give anything up, he was just asking her to have enough respect to listen to him. "You think this scares me?" he clenched his jaw keeping his back to her as she let out a dark laugh. "I've survived worse you fucking pussy." She hissed and he turned to face her then as she spite at him, making his fists clench. He took in a deep breath, glancing down to where her spite had landed on his shirt before his eyes found hers again.

His eyes followed her as she went back over to the wall, sitting down casually. She sat there as if the whole scare tactic he’d just put on to try and get her to straighten up, hadn’t happened. He looked away from her, hating that he was the one who felt guilty, when she’d made the last month of his life both incredible and a living hell.

"Have fun baby, wear a condom, wouldn't want you to get any STDs." She scoffed. He could tell that the idea of him going out and leaving her there helpless, with the thought of him fucking another girl bother her. He knew her too well. She was hurt and irritated that even he’d stooped to the level of her ex-husband and her psychotic brother.

He gestured for Romeo and his guys to slip out of the room leaving him and Tiger completely alone in the deafening silence of the room. He felt like shit, but he couldn’t just let her fucking run his life and ruin his career and that was the path they were heading down. He’d give her the world, but she had to give a little bit, which was what she seemed to be struggling with.

“What the fuck do you want from me?” He finally breathed. Holding her eyes, standing in front of the door. “I give you everything, you can’t even give me respect. I take everything away, you throw a fucking fit.” He hissed, putting the fact that she’s been acting like a child into perspective for her. “You want to go back to your husband? Back to Cody? Tell me what the fuck will make you happy Lily, because I’m done.” He spat honestly before slipping out of the hotel room slamming the door behind him.

Tiger could see the guilt in his body language. He had a dark side, that much was obvious considering she was chained to a wall in a closet, but he also clearly hated that side of him. He gestured for Romeo and his guys to leave and she bit her lip, afraid of what was about to happen. As fearless as she was acting, she was actually terrified. He hadn't hit her yet, but she knew he could if she got him angry enough.

“What the fuck do you want from me?” He finally breathed after an agonizingly long moment of silence, sort of surprising her. She'd expected him to slap her or choke her out, the way Clay used to do when she challenged him. Jordan, however, looked torn. His fists were clenched so she knew he was furious, but at the same time, he somehow looked exhausted. Like he was sick of dealing with her. That hurt her more then anything. She just stayed quiet because she wasn't sure how to answer that question.

Since she'd shown up at his game broken and weak, Jordan had given her every single thing she'd asked for, and all she'd given him in return was hell. “I give you everything, you can’t even give me respect. I take everything away, you throw a fucking fit.” He hissed, and she looked away from him, hating that he was right. Sure, he wasn't exactly perfect either, but for the most part, she was the one that caused all their fucking blowouts. She was just so fucked up, she didn't know how to be just happy. As happy as Jordan did make her, there was something cruel and dark inside her that Draco had planted. “You want to go back to your husband? Back to Cody? Tell me what the fuck will make you happy Lily, because I’m done.” He spat then and she winced because his words honestly cut her to the core.

She was about to give up. She wanted to reach for him and tell him how happy he did make her, because she didn't want to push him so far, she pushed him away entirely. Before she could even get a word out, however, he stormed out of the room. Lily waited until she heard the hotel door slam before she fell apart. She pulled her knees to her chest and started to cry hard. She was afraid, and hurt, and furious, but she also wanted Jordan to come back. She didn't want to be without him, especially not after all that.

The thought crossed her mind that he might not come back. She'd pushed him to his breaking point before, and it had ended in him abandoning her completely. It was very likely that it could happen again and the thought only made her cry harder. She knew Romeo was standing guard outside the closet, and could likely hear her having a breakdown, but she couldn't bring herself to care. Saving face in front of Romeo was the last thing on her mind at the moment.

Lily stayed there for hours, pacing back and forth, crying, and even trying to use a wire hanger to pick the lock on her collar. She was completely losing her mind, tortured by both the idea that Jordan might not come back, and the mental image of him fucking some other girl. She hated being so fucking helpless, she just wanted Jordan to come back. Even if he just left her there in the closet and passed out in bed, she just wanted him there, so she didn't have to picture him with someone else, or fear that he'd leave her.

Not to mention that she felt like crawling out of her skin just because she was sober. She'd been sober for hours. In the past month and a half she hadn't been sober for longer than thirty minutes. She was jonesing like crazy and if she didn't get something soon, she was afraid she'd completely lose it. She tried calling through the closet door, begging Romeo through her tears to give her something, or even let her go, but he didn't even respond to her.

She tried to stay up, wanting to hear Jordan come back, fighting off sleep so that she could at least know he'd come back. However, it was incredibly hard. She was exhausted from the cold water treatment Romeo's guys had given her, the anger, the crying, and the shivering and shaking. Eventually, she just couldn't keep her eyes open anymore. She fell asleep on the floor of the closet sometime around the middle of the night.

Cody smirked when she dropped to her knees in front of him, knowing what was coming next and wanting it so badly, it physically hurt. She yanked his pants and boxers down enough before leaning in and starting to blow him. Cody let out a deeply satisfied groan and gripped a handful of her hair tightly in his hand, guiding her to move at his pace. She was fucking incredible. No other girl could make him feel so goddamn good.

He finished in her mouth, before pulling her back to her feet and giving a kiss on the lips. He released her then and pulled his jeans back up, zipping them, smirking as he watched her wipe the corners of her lips. He wanted to pull her in for another kiss, slip his hand down her jeans, and return the favor for her. She kissed him again then and he was seconds away from undoing the button on her jeans when the back door to the club swung open, and his entire body tensed, knowing already that they were caught.

Already, the gun hidden in his suit jacket seemed to throb against his chest as he turned his eyes to see James, standing there. He thought about what Lane had said. About pulling the gun out. It was as if he couldn't feel anything but that damn gun, and his jaw clenched when James shouted at Lane, demanding that they leave. It irritated him, and he truly hated James. He imagined over and over again the scene that would play out if he reached for his gun, the blood that would pour from Jame's head, the way his body would hit the alley floor.

He forced himself to push back the urge, telling himself he wasn't a killer. Sure, he would kill if his back was against the wall, and he carried a gun, but the gun was for protection because he played dangerous games with powerful people. He'd only actually had to fire it twice and never with malice. He told himself over and over again that he couldn't do it. No matter how much he hated James, he couldn't kill him in cold blood, unprovoked. It wasn't in him.

Laney looked at him for a split second then before heading towards James. “I’m going to beat your fucking ass.” James cursed and it was then that Cody reacted. Those words bothered him so much, he didn't even think about it. Before he'd even realized what he was doing, Cody pulled the gun out of his jacket and fired, hitting James square in the chest. He shot a second time, before James even had time to feel the pain of the first shot, there was a second bullet lodged in his skull, and his body hit the ground, bleeding out onto the alley floor.

"Fuck." He cursed to himself, knowing he'd just made a huge fucking mess, both literally and figuratively. "Come on, we have to go." He told Lane. He grabbed her by the arm and dragged her quickly down the Alley. They took a few turns before he hailed down a cab and the two of them got in it. He sent a quick text to Louie, telling her to get out of there before sending another text to a contact of his. He'd used this contact only twice, when he'd had to kill out of self defense. He simply sent the address of the club and knew that the body and evidence would be taken care of. He'd have to shell out a good deal of money, but it was better then going to prison.

He looked at Lane then and grabbed her hair, pulling her in for a hard kiss as the cab made it's way through the streets of Vegas towards their hotel. "You're mine." He breathed against her lips, repeating her words from earlier back to her, letting her know that, from now on, they belonged to each other. They were a team and he wasn't going to let anything ruin that. He didn't enjoy killing, but he'd shoot a hundred more men if it meant he got to have Lane.

Had Delaney never reconnected with Cody, she probably could have gone back to James and lived seemingly happy. She’d be his loyal pet like she was before and have a decent amount of freedom and drugs at her fingertips. Reconnecting with Cody though had seemed to set up a series of events that was bound to land her back into his arms. She wanted to feel that free, recklessness she felt when they were teens. She wanted to be able to feel his touch and taste his lips whenever she wanted. Lane had recounted her plights ever since Cody had gotten there wondering how she’d ended up so fucked up to the point that she’d offer James as a sacrifice to get exactly what she wanted.

Still as she walked towards James in the alley way she didn’t’ think Cody really had it in him to kill James. She was sure, without a second thought that Cody would simply slip back inside and find comfort in Louie until he could be alone with her again. That wasn’t how things played out though and she stopped dead in her tracks when she saw the crimson color start to soak up James shirt and the gun ran in her ears. She took a small step back, James’s eyes catching hers. He had a horrified look in them, like he was convinced this was her doing and the guilt started to sink in immediately. She jumped when Cody fired another shot dropping James. A pool of blood forming around his head.

Her heart pounded in her chest, her body felt ice cold. She was frozen in shock. He’d never seen a dead body, let alone ever seen someone murdered right in front of her. Sure, she hung out with guys like Javier, but he didn’t kill people in front of her. She heard Cody curse under his breath, but it didn’t register in her ear, they were still ringing. She glanced up to him, she could see his lips moving, but she was too stunned to hear the words that left his lips as he grabbed her arm dragging her from the crime scene.
She picked at the chipped neon pink nail polish on her nails, wondering if was just in a really bad nightmare and she’d wake up five years younger in her old bedroom. However, she knew that wasn’t the case when Cody grabbed her hair pulling her lips to his. She didn’t kiss him back though when he kissed her. Not because she didn’t want to, but because she was still trying to distinguish whether this was reality or just a fucked-up dream.

"You're mine." He breathed against hers, like she didn’t have a choice. Now that he’d killed for her, she was forever tied to him. She felt her chest tighten with anxiety. She knew the kind of person she was, if someone came around that gave her an ounce more of attention then Cody did, she’d more on until the next best thing. She was fucked like that and in all honestly, she was terrified now, knowing Cody well enough to know now more than ever he wouldn’t let her get away with that behavior.

She was quite the rest of the way back to the hotel trying to process what had just happened. She was coming to terms with the fact that there was no way around getting away from Cody now. He had just as much shit on her as she had on him. Sure, Cody had pulled the trigger, but she’d planted the seed in his head. Once they were back in his hotel room she finally glanced to him.
“We have to leave.” She breathed honestly. “We can’t stay here…” she trailed off looking away from Cody for a moment before looking back to him. “I can’t…believe…you did it.” She breathed slowly. She crossed the room to him “I love you.” She finally breathed but her voice was a whisper, like she’d never admitted the words out loud and she was terrified he might not feel the same way and while she should feel anything but love after watching Cody kill James in cold blood, she couldn’t help but need him to know that in her moment of sobriety and shock, she honestly did love him.

Jordan hadn’t come back to his room that night, he’d gone down to the stadium and demanded that one of the security guards let him in. He’d slept in one of the locker rooms, family rooms on the couch. It wasn’t the best night’s sleep but he had to be away from Tigerlily, he had to get his head on straight. She was driving him crazy and the crazier she drove him the more in love with her he fell, despite himself. He just wasn’t willing to admit it. She’d only agitated the tip of the monstrous iceberg that was Jordan. He knew that if he went back to that hotel room, he’d let her off the leash because he’d feel bad. Then she wouldn’t learn a damn thing and at the very least, he needed her to learn some kind of respect.

The reality of it was if they managed to stick it out together he’d eventually break up with Beverly. Then his relationship with Lily would surface and if she walked all over him the way she did now, he’d be a laughing stalk and he wasn’t going to put up with that shit. He needed her to understand that she didn’t run the show, this was his world and if she was going to survive in it, she’d have to play by his rules. Not that he was really asking that much of her. Just thinking about all of it gave him a fucking headache.
He stayed gone all the next day, preparing for the game even with a shitty night’s sleep he had to do better then he’d done in last week’s game against Dallas. He couldn’t let his relationship with Tiger get the better of him or he was going to start losing his career, slowly but surely. He’d drugged up on steroids, worked out, and played a badass game. He’d done exactly what he needed to and his team had won. It was a drastic come back from last week’s game. All the while he’d kept in contact with Romeo, who was a glorified babysitter at this point. Not that he minded considered he was getting a fat cut of Jordan’s paycheck. Romeo had told him that Tigerlily had begged him to let her go, begged him for a hit, for a smoke, for any amount of leverage. Romeo was even more stubborn then Jordan and Tiger put together and he hadn’t cracked.

After the game he’d gone out for a couple of drinks with the guys, before he’d finally headed back to his hotel room. At this point, he knew Lily had to be really considered with weather or not he was honestly coming back. It didn’t help that Rome was giving her the silent treatment. He unlocked his door, slipping inside. Rome was gone, leaving him and Lil alone. He could handle her on his own. It would be dangerous for her to piss him off when he was coming down from his roid high, on top of his body being full of testosterone after winning the game. He slipped off his shirt, so that he was simply in his jeans. He’d showered before he’d gotten drinks, he smelled of expensive cologne. However, nothing about his body or his scent appeared to have interacted with another woman.

It was odd, he’d always cheated on Bevie. With Tiger though he hadn’t even thought about it, even as mad as he’d been at her last night the thought of sleeping with another woman just didn’t’ seem as appealing. He made his way over the mini fridge in the room, pulling out a cold beer. He took a long drink from it as he slid open the door to the patio, not bothering to let Lil know he was home. He was well aware she could hear him and he wasn’t going to be the first to seek her out. He lit himself a cigarette as he lend in the doorway, he looked out over the city lights as he took a long drag. Ever since he’d gotten back from Gary, he’d picked up smoking despite what Danny told him. He needed a stress relief and cigarettes did the trick.

Lily was a complete wreck. After falling asleep that night, she had a nightmare about Draco, watching him beat the life out of Blue, her twin sister, then forcing her to cover up the crime. She woke up screaming and crying, and then proceeded to beg Romeo for drugs all over again. He wouldn't even so much as respond to her. She pleaded with him to at least tell her if Jordan had come back, and he simply said no, which of course, caused another wave of tears.

She had no way of telling what time it was or how long she'd been chained up in the closet, but it felt like forever, especially since she was stone cold sober and jonesing the entire time. She was absolutely tortured, and truly afraid that Jordan might not ever come back. Not to mention she wasn't sure what to do when he did come back. She was stubborn as hell and she didn't want to give in and beg Jordan the way she'd been begging Romeo, but she knew, in the end, she might have to. Jordan wasn't going to let her out of that closet without, at the very least, an apology.

After what felt like age she heard heard the hotel door open and Romeo walking away, followed by the door opening a second time and she sat up straight, listening carefully, hoping like hell it was Jordan on the other side of that door. She wanted nothing more then to see him, to feel his touch, for him to give her a hit, but, at the very least, she needed to know he was back, that he hadn't completely abandoned her.

He didn't come for her. The shower started, so she knew it was him, but the closet door remained closed for a long time. The shower had been off for a good twenty minutes and she'd heard the sliding patio door open, and Lily was pacing back and forth in the closet, trying to decide if she should just swallow her pride and call out to him. She didn't want to be the one to give in, but she knew she was going to have to.

"Jordy." She finally called through the door, voice a little hoarse from all the crying, begging, and screaming she'd done over the past twenty four hours. "I love you..." She admitted, sitting down on the floor and dropping her face into her hands, trying to fight off another wave of tears. "I'm sorry I've been such an impossible bitch." She called, letting out a deep sigh.

It took a lot for Lily to apologize. She would let Clay beat the living fuck out of her and rape her before she'd ever apologize, but Jordan wasn't Clay. As dangerous and monstrous as he'd gotten, she loved him, and she hated hurting him. When it came to Jordan, she really was sorry. "Please, at least come kiss me goodnight." She pleaded, hating that she was begging for a kiss, but hoping like hell it worked because she needed to see him, needed his lips on hers as badly as she needed the drugs she was craving.

Cody could tell Laney was shaken and shocked by the whole situation, as was he. He couldn't believe he'd actually pulled his gun out and shot a man in cold blood. He wasn't a killer. He was a fighter, and a criminal, but he wasn't a killer. He'd murder if it meant saving his own life, but this had been entirely different. He'd shot James simply because he had something he wanted, Laney.

Cody had always been able to read Lane like the back of his hand, but this time, he couldn't seem to predict what she was thinking. All he could tell from her silence on the way to the hotel was that she was in shock, but he had no idea what else was going through his head. For all he knew, she was plotting a way to leave him, now that he'd shot her boyfriend. Maybe she was afraid of him now, and he wouldn't be able to blame her. He'd murdered her boyfriend in front of her without even so much as a blink. Hell, he was afraid of himself at the moment. He didn't know he had it in him until he was pulling the trigger.

Once they were back at the hotel room, Cody let out a deeply exhausted sigh as he tossed his suite jacket aside and pulled out his cigarettes, lighting one. He went to the window and leaned a hand against it, looking out at the city of Vegas as he smoked. He shouldn't have returned to Vegas. There was never anything but trouble waiting for him in this stupid city. Still, as shaken and disturbed by his own darkness as he was, Cody didn't feel even so much as an ounce of regret. Delaney was finally his. Cody would shoot James a million more times simply just because of that fact.

Louie was blowing up his phone with texts, telling him she'd gotten away from the club and demanding to know what the fuck was happening. He simply texted her to shut up and get herself her own hotel room. The last thing he wanted to do was figure out what to do with Louie now that he had Lane. He wouldn't be able to work with Louie anymore, that was for damn sure, Laney would not allow it, but he didn't want to deal with it at the moment.

“We have to leave. We can’t stay here…” She Laney finally breathed and he took a long drag of his cigarette, letting out a sigh of smoke, knowing she was right. Fuck the job on Javier. His guy was taking care of James's body, sure, but that didn't exactly mean they were safe. James may have plenty of enemies, but he also had plenty of friends. Once it became obvious he'd disappeared, certain people would be looking for Cody for answers, knowing he'd been close to him in the past month. He had no intention of being there when the came looking.

“I can’t…believe…you did it.” She breathed slowly, clearly still trying to process and he sighed and turned to face her as she crossed the room towards him. He couldn't believe it either. He held her eyes, waiting for her to tell him she was leaving, that she couldn't be with a killer. “I love you.” She finally whispered, fear in her voice, surprising him. Not only had he never heard those words from her, but he couldn't remember the last time he'd heard her so afraid. The way she was looking at him, he knew it wasn't because he'd shot her boyfriend. She was afraid he might not love her back.

Cody just smiled and reached out, wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her body against his. "I love you too Laney." He breathed, seriously as he held her eyes, needing her to know it was the truth. "You're the most important thing in the world to me." He sighed, tossing his cigarette away before placing his other hand on the back of her neck. He pulled her in for a kiss, his arm tightening around her waist at the same time as he kissed her, letting out a groan. He loved the way she tasted and it was occurring to him now that she was his. He could have her whenever and wherever he wanted now. "Name a place." He smirked against her lips. "Anywhere you want to go in the world, we'll be on the next flight out of here." He promised her as he pulled back enough to hold her eyes, still holding her in his arms.

Delaney knew she should have some kind of guilt and she had for about two minutes when James had looked at her after Cody had fired the first shot and before he’d fired the second shot. However, now all she felt was satisfaction, for having gotten her way. She wondered briefly what else Cody was willing to do for her. Lane should have stayed in rehab. She should be on some kind of anti-depressants. She pushed her feelings of knowing she was unstable down and replaced them with manic excitement. Cody was hers now, officially. However, the thought of Louie hadn’t even crossed her mind. She was too high from knowing just the extents Cody would go to make her happy, to make her his.

Cody reached out for her and it took everything in her reflexes to let him wrap his arms around her. Lany used to be the touchy feely one. She used to be the one that wanted to cuddle and hold hands, however she’d become so cold that when she was feeling particularly high or particularly low, she could often shut down and not let anyone touch her. She knew though if she pushed Cody away now it could prove fatal to their quickly blooming reconnection. He wrapped his arms around her waist and wore a smile that made her bit her lip, wanting him to just fuck her, instead of touch her lovingly like he was at the moment. His body felt hot against hers and she had to fight the urge to shut him up and start pulling his clothes off.

"I love you too Laney." Fuck. She felt her heart falter in her chest at his honest admission. She hated that he’d admitted to loving her, she didn’t want to be addicted to Cody, because that would be leaving herself open to heartbreak. That was all her and Cody were bound to do, break each other down. Yet, she still couldn’t find a good enough reason to convince herself to peel herself out of his arms and leave him now. "You're the most important thing in the world to me." He continued with a sigh and she felt her walls start to come down, her heart for the first time in ages starting to soften and she knew she should leave.

He placed a hand on the back of her neck, pulling her lips to his and the second his lips pressed against hers a fire like she’d never felt before caught inside her and burned heavy. He tightened his hold around her waist and she’d never felt more at home, she’d never felt safer in her entire life, then she did in his arms. That small voice that told her to run as far away from him as possible seemed to disappear. The groan that escaped his lips made her head spin and her body ache for him, like it never had even as a teenager.

"Name a place." He smirked against her lips as he spoke and she tucked her bottom lip between her teeth as she thought. "Anywhere you want to go in the world, we'll be on the next flight out of here." He said, pulling back to hold her eyes and there was a heavy blue in his eyes that drove her absolutely wild. He was gorgeous, it had been sometime since she’d honestly looked at him and not through him like she’d gotten so used to doing with everyone else. She’d never been more aware then she was now of how much of a man he’d grown into and she wonder why out of every fucking girl in the world, he wanted anything to do with her. Even though over the past month and a half he’d seen her at her worst, he was still standing there in front of her looking at her with that same sixteen-year-old starry eyed, love sick look in his eyes and it was still for her.

She fought the tears that threatened to escape her eyes, because she’d hadn’t realized how much she’d missed him. How much she honestly needed him and how lost she’d been without him. Cody was her lifeline and she both hated and loved him for making her feel all of this so suddenly. She swallowed back the knot in her throat and cleared her throat.

“Budapest.” She finally breathed a grin spreading across her lips. She opened her mouth to continue, before there was an angry pounding on the door. She pulled herself away from Cody suddenly terrified that it was the cops or Javier. That someone had found them out and they were fucked.

“Cody what the fuck!” Louie’s voice sounded irritated on the other side of the door, reminding Lane that Cody wasn’t solely hers yet. Delaney’s fiery blue eyes, seemed darker as she glanced to Cody as is she’d just found out he was cheating.

“I want her.” Delaney said simply, her words dark, but they weren’t suggesting that Cody kill the girl. “Make it happen.” She said, suddenly calling the shots like a spoiled brat who would scream if she didn’t get her way. She wasn’t sure if Cody would understand what she meant by wanting her, but Delaney knew that killing Louie was too easy. However, making Louie Lane’s personal slave was humiliating and that’s exactly what she wanted for the red-headed bitch.

Jordan had a hard time with his personality, one minuet he could be good natured and caring, the next he could be a total nightmare wrapped in a gorgeous package. It was the reason he assumed Bevie stayed with him, for his moments that he was a decent human being. That and the perks of his wealthy lifestyle. It didn’t’ help that Jordan was so used to being emotionless, so used to being numb to everything. Now that Lily was back though, he was contently full of feeling he hadn’t felt in half a decade. He like to think he had a handle on his emotions, but that clearly wasn’t true the more time he spent with Lily. If he was being honest, he was still a little bitter of her and Cody. He wasn’t going to admit it though. He’d always have that underling fear that she’d cheat on him, if she hadn’t already.

He wasn’t good at talking through his feelings or sharing them for that matter, but he hated that Lily could make him feel incredibly high one minuet and then make him feel like he was a complete failure the next. He needed her, but he also wasn’t sure he’d survive if he couldn’t get a handle on her. He’d either kill her or she’d kill him, because they’d push each other too far and as terrible as he felt for thinking it, he honestly wasn’t sure it was worth it. The thought frustrated him. She was literally the only women that made him happy, yet it seemed like he’d never have her. He pressed the end of the cigarette against his lips as the silence of the room settled in his bones, making him feel almost cold. He felt honestly alone, despite knowing Tiger was in the closet. He took a long drag off his cigarette, before letting out a breath.

"Jordy." Her voice pulled him from his thoughts, her voice sounded worn, like she was tired of crying and he sighed out another breath of smoke. He was trying his very best not to feel bad about what he’d done, but guilt had never been a friend of his. "I love you..." she admitted and his chest ached, hating himself for being no better than the men she often caught herself with. Namely her ex and her brother. "I'm sorry I've been such an impossible bitch." Her voice sounded sincere, but he wondered if it was just her desperate sobriety talking for her and not her honesty.

Jordan already had massive trust issues, he’d become that way after finding Tiger and Cody. He’d suppressed his trust issues by keeping only a close knit, small grip of people close to him. People that gave him every reason to trust them. People who could prove themselves to him time and again. Those people consisted of Rome, Danny, and that was about it. Hell, his own family didn’t even make the list. It was only normal for him to listen to his long lists of doubt he had against Lily, believing that she was only apologizing because she wanted something from him or she hoped he’d let her of the leash so she could leave him. He put out his cigarette glancing over his shoulder as she spoke again.

"Please, at least come kiss me goodnight." She pleaded with him, but he wasn’t going to give into her. Maybe if he was high he’d give into her just to shut her up, but he was sober and he could think clearly and what he was thinking was that he didn’t want to be hurt and he couldn’t’ trust her.

He made his way over to the closet without so much as a word, he slid the sliding mirror door of the closet open grabbing the chain that was connected to her collar and tugging it lightly. Not enough to hurt her but enough to signal her to him. When she came over to him he lend down and undid the collar from around her neck, careful not to make contact with that sad blue eyes he could feel staring back at him. He let the abandoned collar and connected chain fall to the ground before standing back up and turning away from her without a word. He finished the rest of his beer, expecting to hear the door to his hotel room open and close and if it did, he wouldn’t chase her this time. He wouldn’t’ help her the next time she showed up at his door looking like shit. He’d never try to contact her again, he’d do his best to forget her. He’d spend his life being bitter and numb. One day she’d turn on the news and he’d probably be found dead in his hotel room from over dose or vice versa, he’d find out she’d died because she’d hooked up with a lowlife who couldn’t keep his hands to himself. That was when it occurred to him that they were bound for the worst whether she stayed or left.

He opened the fridge grabbing another beer and popping it open. He took a long drink from the bottle as he turned to her, his hazel eyes seemed upset, but also verging on being void of any emotions. “The doors that way doll.” He gestured with a small nod of his head in the direction of the door almost as if he was kicking her out. “Don’t let it hit you on the way out.” He scoffed as he took another drink from the bottle of beer.

He pulled his phone from his pocket ignoring the million and one missed calls and texts from Bevie as he slapped his hand down on the alarm clock in the room that doubled as a Bluetooth music player, connecting his phone to it as he shuffled through his phone before a soft melodic rap song started playing as loudly as the speaker would allow. It was loud enough to drown out his thoughts as he tossed his phone down on the bed.He slipped out the sliding glass door that was still open and sat down in one of the chairs as he started to roll himself a blunt, fully expecting to be alone for the rest of the night. It was clear in that moment just how lonely the last five years of his life had been, with or without Bevie as his girlfriend. It was as if Tiger was getting an intimate glimpse at how he'd spent his fame enhanced life, despite the occasional times he'd gone out just to cub his loneliness by either getting arrested or hooking up with some easy skank.

Lily listened intently to what was going on on the other side of the door. Never in her life had she been so desperate just to see someone. As twisted as it was, after the way he'd chained her up in the closet like a bad pet, she loved him desperately. He may have hurt her badly on multiple occasions, and she knew for a fact he didn't trust her, but he had good reason. She'd cheated on him with his best friend, and now his teammate, even though he didn't know about it, she still hated herself for it just as much.

As ugly as things had, or ever would get between them, at the end of the day he wasn't Draco or Clay. He didn't force her to strip and sell herself, and he wasn't half the twisted sociopath Draco was. She heard his footsteps move closer and Lily bit her lip and held her breath. For all she knew, he was just going to taunt her by walking past. Finally, the door opened and she looked up at him, letting out a soft sigh of relief under her breath. It felt good just to see him. She wanted him to come over and kiss her.

However, he wouldn't even look her in the eyes and she had to admit, it fucking hurt. He gave the chain a signaling tug and Tiger responded. She didn't want to crawl to him like a whipped dog, but she couldn't help it. Not only was she painfully sober, but now she was starting to feel horrible guilt and fear that he might be done with her. She did as he wanted and moved over to him, sitting on her knees at his feet, her eyes on his, hoping he might glance at her. She could practically feel the distrust radiating off him as he undid the collar around her neck and it fell to the ground.

He didn't even speak to her, just turned around and left her there, heading back out to the balcony. Tiger let out a shaky sigh as she swallowed back more tears. She rubbed her neck briefly as she stood and went to stand in the closet doorway, not sure what to do. On one hand, she was afraid he might be tricking her, setting up a trap to hurt her. She could tell he hadn't forgiven her. If he had, they'd already be fucking. So she was also afraid that maybe he was just done.

She watched him, not sure what to say or do. She bit her lip as he went and got himself a second beer. Her eyes went to the beer briefly as he popped it open and took a long drink. It was torture, being so sober and watching him drink a beer in front of her. She blinked and clenched her jaw, trying to stay focused on him and his body language. As tortured as she felt, he was more important and she was seriously afraid he was about to dump her. He was frighteningly cold and unreadable.

“The doors that way doll.” He finally said, gesturing with a small nod of his head towards the door and the words hit her like a freight train. It was like the air was sucked from her lungs. He may as well have punched her. “Don’t let it hit you on the way out.” He scoffed coldly, the second blow hitting her just as hard. Her entire body tensed with the effort it took not to fall apart on the spot. She had to tell herself that he didn't really want her to leave, but she didn't even know if that was true anymore.

Ty watched him as he used his phone to flip on some music and she sighed and ran her fingers through her hair as he turned away from her and went back out to the balcony. He started to roll a blunt and, again her emotional pain was briefly distracted by her craving to be high, but her eyes went back to him quickly. She should just get dressed and leave. It was clearly what he wanted, he could survive without her and all she'd done was give him nothing but grief bring out his ugly side.

She refused to make the same mistake twice though. She wasn't going to let things end that easily. The first time things had ended, neither of them had fought for it. He'd taken off and abandoned her, and she had known where he'd gone and never went after him. She wasn't just going to walk off and spend years trying to forget him all over again. She wouldn't recover this time.

Ty was afraid as she walked out to him, because she knew he could completely destroy her if he insisted she get out, but she had to do it. If she took the safe route and just walked out, she'd never forgive herself. She grabbed a t-shirt of his from his suitcase and pulled it on before walking out to the balcony where he was smoking his blunt. She wanted nothing more then to take the blunt from his fingertips, or beg him for a hit, but she forced herself to hold his eyes. She climbed into his lap, kissing him gently on the lips. For the first time, maybe ever, she felt truly fragile.

"I love you." She breathed the words against his lips, saying it for a second time. "I love you so fucking much." She mumbled with complete conviction and honesty, a few tears escaping down her cheeks. She pulled away with a shuddering sigh, holding his eyes. "You make me happy and that terrifies me, but I'm not leaving you." She sighed deeply, giving him one more soft kiss on his lips before getting off his lap. She went over to the doorway and paused. She should start walking and just keep walking. She should walk out the door because she knew staying was a bad idea, even if it's all she wanted in the world. If he didn't kill her now, by proceeding to dump her, he would eventually, or vice versa. They were bound to be each other's destruction.

"I'll be in bed." She sighed, exhaustion clear in her voice, both physically, and emotionally. She walked back into the room then, and went to the bed. She pulled her bra and panties out from underneath Jordan's shirt that she was wearing and climbed into the bed. She hoped like hell he wouldn't throw her out. Of course, what she really wanted was some drugs and good ass make up sex, but at that point, she'd just be happy if he smoked his frustration away with that blunt and then got into bed and fell asleep. He didn't even have to touch her, she just wanted to know it wasn't over, that there'd be a tomorrow for them.

Cody could tell he'd really affected her. He could read her like a book, and he knew she was afraid, but she was feeling, and for the first time he knew for sure how she felt about him. When they were teens, she'd always been so back and forth, he'd never really known, but he'd still been hopelessly wrapped around her finger. Now, he knew she needed him just as much as he needed her and it was relieving, to say the least. He hadn't just killed a man for a woman who was only pretending to love him.

She cleared her throat like she was clearing away tears and he sighed. “Budapest.” She breathed, breaking the silence and he let out a soft breath, loving the way a grin stretched across her face. It was sick really. He'd just killed a man, her boyfriend's blood was on his shirt, and they were standing there smiling at each other. He should feel terrified, nervous, or guilty. Instead, he was excited for whatever future he was about to start with Laney. She was his now.

There was a sudden, rapid pounding on the door then and Cody nearly jumped out of his skin. The bubble popped and the fear came rushing in. He half expected the police to break the door down and drag him away. “Cody what the fuck!” Louie yelled irritably on the other side of the door. Cody let out a sigh of relief until he saw the accusatory way Delaney was glaring at him.

It wasn't the cops, but he wasn't out of the woods. He'd killed her lover, now she was going to deal with his. It was only fair. He couldn't help but be a little nervous for Louie. He may not have feelings for her, but if Lane chose murder, it would certainly be hard to watch. She'd saved his life once and had been his partner for several years now. Giving her up was one thing. Letting Louie kill her was another.

“I want her.” Delaney said simply, and he raised a brow. Her words were dark, but he wasn't sure they were murderous. Of course, he wasn't certain, but he didn't think Lane wanted to kill Louie. It sounded like she wanted something else. As long as he didn't have to watch Louie die, he'd give Lane whatever she wanted. “Make it happen.” She ordered and he knew there was nothing he could do. If he wanted her, he had to let her have what she wanted from Louie. He'd killed James, she got to take care of Louie however she wanted. He couldn't ask her to be his and still have Louie in his pocket. He had to give her to Lane and let her decide what happened. Regardless of what Laney wanted, Louie wasn't going to be his anymore.

Clay let out a deep sigh. He wanted to ask Lane not to kill Louie, but he knew that would be a mistake. It would only piss Laney off and ensure she killed Louie. Instead, he just nodded and gave Lane a kiss. "I'm coming, relax." Cody called to Louie to get her to calm down and not be so panicked before he pulled away from Delaney, walking across the room towards the door. He opened it and smiled at Louie like nothing was wrong before grabbing her by the upper arm and pulling her into the room, slamming the door shut.

He pushed her up against the door, holding her eyes. "You no longer work for me Louie." He breathed, eyes on hers, and her brows knit. He knew, even though she claimed to be completely cold to him, he'd just hurt her. She always reminded him she was only with him for the money, but he knew that wasn't entirely true. Inside, she felt a little obligated towards him, because she'd saved his life and they'd been through a lot together and trusted each other. He pulled back and gestured towards Delaney then. He pulled her off the door and gave her a shove in Lane's direction. "You work for her now." He shrugged, leaning against the door so she couldn't try to run off, no matter what Lane did to her. He hated it, but it was a sacrifice he had to make if he wanted Laney to be his, that much was clear.

Budapest was absolutely beautiful and for a total of three days her and Cody had been a normal functioning couple. Those three days made up for all the pain and torment that she’d gone through over the years. They’d walked the lively streets together hand in hand. They went on the kind of dates that you only saw in movies. They made honest love instead of just mindlessly fucked. Everything was way too perfect, so much so that it made Lane want to crawl out of her skin. She was so fucked up that she kind of missed the misery of her terrible relationships. She was just drawn to pain and self-destruction, the way a month was drawn to a flame. She started to feel like any day everything would come crashing down around her because that was what typically happened to her. Nothing good in her life ever lasted. She’d become way to good at predicting the highs and lows of relationships she was in.

She took this paranoia out on Louie. She taunted her, tormented her with her cruelty. She’d forced to cut off her waist length hair, giving her a short bod. Louie was covered in bruises and Lane treated her worse than anyone had ever treated Lane, simply because she could and because she could tell the it hurt Cody. Louie was the key to pissing Cody off and that only pissed Delaney off more. It probably would have been more humane to kill Louie. There had been a few occasions when a few occasions when Cody had tried to tell her Louie had enough and that just ended with her and Cody having brutal fights, most of which ended in Lane leaving. She was just so self-destructive. It was only made worse by the fact that Laney hated being without Cody, because she was utterly addicted, despite her lack of showing it. Cody had started working Jobs in Budapest that took him away for long hours leaving Lane alone, because he refused to let her do jobs with him the way he’d let Louie. That was just another thing on the long list of things that drove Lane crazy.

For the past two weeks, they’d been occupying an incredible apartment on the waterfront in the middle of the city. For the past day or so, her and Cody had surprisingly been getting along again. They’d fucked last night until the early hours of the morning, before she’d gotten up and around and left to get her nails done. She slipped inside the apartment quietly, expecting Cody to be gone for work for the day. She called out Louie’s name, but there was no answer which was odd. Lane had gone to great lengths in a short amount of time to make sure that Louie knew her new place. That she was basically a slave to her and Cody. She wasn’t allowed to talk out of turn, she wasn’t allowed to look Lane or Cody in the eye’s along with about a million other ridiculous rules. Lane was on a power trip now that her and Cody were together and she was aware of what Cody was capable of.

Lane felt her heart sink deep in her chest as she crept up the stairs and started to hear the very light moans of Louie coming from her room. She froze when she reached the top of the staircase. She tried to tell herself over and over again that it wasn’t what she thought, that Cody had promised not to touch Louie ever again. Her scars however on her wrists began to throb numbly reminding her how nothing every seemed to work out for her. How even though they were in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, things couldn’t remain perfect and she’d been a big reason for that. She wished that she was fucked up, flying high as a kite, then she’d be able to storm into her bedroom, yank Louie out of her and Cody’s bed by her gorgeous red hair and throw her off the balcony. Unfortunately for her however, she was stone cold sober.

Upon Cody’s request to try and be better after a fight from a couple nights ago when he’d threatened to leave and she’d broke down. They both knew he wouldn’t leave and she wouldn’t’ stay sober, but she was fucking trying and of all day for her to actually try. She made her way to her bedroom door and simply sat down on the floor, leaning against the wall next to her bedroom door that they hadn’t even bother to completely close. She lit herself a cigarette as she listened to Louie’s moans get louder the closer she came to climaxing. Delaney should have known, she told herself over and over again. She should have known Cody would go back, not only did he feel about the way Lane treated Louie, him and Louie quite possibly had a more appealing history then her and Cody did. She wondered if they’d been doing it behind her back since they’d gotten their and she’d just been stupid not to catch it.

She lifted the cigarette to her lips as genuine tears started to fall from her cheeks from quite possibly the first time in several years. Lane had half a mind to get up and walk out on him, to disappear again like she had the first time, but she couldn’t leave Cody. No matter how unhappy she pretended to be it was just her own defense mechanism, she was so in love with Cody it was kind of pathetic. She was halfway through her third cigarette when Louie and Cody finally emerged from the room, not noticing her at first. Cody pressed his lips against Louie’s in a way that made Lane’s chest feel painfully heavy as if someone was sitting on it. It was her sniffling that caught both Louie and Cody’s attention. Louie gasped and was quick to slip away before Lane could release one of her cruel punishments on her, but truthfully Lane didn’t have the energy. She wiped her tears, before pressing the cigarette to her lips once more.

“I guess I deserve that.” She finally breathed letting out a hiccupped breath of smoke, making it clear that despite how calm she seemed in her silent crying, she’d been crying for some time outside the door. She couldn’t bring herself to look up at Cody as she tried to comfort her broken pride. “You don’t even kiss me like that.” She breathed honestly, this time unable to control the tears that fell from her eyes, in a whole new wave of pain.

Jordan had gone off the deep end, acting like he didn’t care what happened to him or Lily or his career. It had Danny, his team, and his fans worrying about him. He was conflicted. He wanted so badly to believe that Lil honestly loved him, like she said she did. However, his stitched-up ego wouldn’t allow him to believe it. He’d been fucked over too many times to let himself believe that she was telling the truth. He was fucked up and typically he was good at hiding his issues, shoving them down or paying immense amounts of money to have them covered up. Over the past few weeks though this hadn’t been the case.
It had started with his break up with Beverly which had broken her so badly that she’d called him and left an endless amount of voicemail. Some of them were begging for him to take her back while other were just a good minuet of her heavily crying and he couldn’t give two shits about it. Then a few days later, him and Ty were spotted out an about which had everyone buzzing about his new relationship that behind closed doors wasn’t a relationship at all. Tiger stuck around, but he was completely cold towards her. He gave her everything she wanted, everything but emotion and freedom. He kept himself numb on any substance he could get his hands on. He gave her his credit card, set her up with is dealer, fucked her, and then left her alone. They rarely saw each other and his job wasn’t too blame. Jordan was too blame, he only saw her when he needed her for a good time. Otherwise he kept her locked in hotel rooms, with Rome and his ruthless goons as he bodyguards.

If she wanted to fuck Rome’s guys she could he wasn’t stopping her, but he was controlling her ability to go anywhere unless it was with him, mostly for the simplicity of keeping her safe. Clay had been spotted in the last city looking for her. They’d ended up in Seattle to play against the Seattle Seahawks it was their last game and if Jordan’s head wasn’t in the game they’d lose their chance at going to the super bowl. Jordan honestly had little interest in playing, he’d lost his drive to do anything other than get fucked up.

He hadn’t seen Tiger since they’d arrived in Seattle last night. He’d locked her in their room with Rome and his guys to watch over her and he’d gone with a couple of his teammates to a strip club. He’d gotten irresponsibly high, when another guy in the club who recognized him had said something perverted and graphic about Tigerlily. It had been something referring to her past as a porn star and Jordan had fucking lost it. It didn’t matter that he was still hurt over Ty and their inability to be a normal couple. She was still his girl and he wasn’t going to put up with some asshole talking shit about her when he knew nothing about her.
His teammates and some of the bouncers had tried to pull him off the man, but his roid rage mixed with a dangerous amount of coke and liquor made him to determine to beat the hell out of the guy. When they’d finally gotten him off the guy, he’d beaten him within inches of his life and Jordan showed absolutely no remorse even as handcuffs were being slapped on his wrists and he was being shoved into the back of a cop car. In a matter of hours his face was plaster on every single news channel for assault and possession of drugs. This wasn’t his first stint in a jail cell, but it was defiantly his worst incarcerated.

He rubbed his wrists as one of the officers unlocked them and Danny met him at the front of the police station. “Do you have any fucking idea how much trouble you’re in?” She scolded him in a low voice as they slipped out of the station. He was greeted by what seemed like a billion flashing lights that seemed duller then the gray clouds that littered the Seattle skyline. Reporters and journalist were yelling things at him, news stations shoving their microphones at him, but he was simply escorted past them and into a black SUV. His head pounded as Danny handed him a pair of sunglasses. “You have a reason?” She pried.

“Yeah, that guy was a jackass, who needed to be taught a lesson.” He shrugged. Danny scoffed at his lack of seeming to care. She lend forward in her seat, that was across from Jordan. The two back seats facing each other.

“Your facing assault charges. Let’s forget about your possession of drugs.” She spat. “Jordan, your career is-”

“On the line, yeah I know.” He hissed, cutting her off with a harshness to his tone. “You don’t think I know that Danny?” he growled. His head lend against the window, this hang over was a particularly bad one, but nothing he couldn’t handle. “Maybe I don’t want to do this shit anymore.” He admitted in a low voice.

“Because of her?” Danny hissed. “Jordan, you haven’t been the same since she’s come-” Danny tried to reason with him, but he was quick to cut her off again.

“Don’t blame her.” He said glaring at Danny through his dark sunglasses. “If I get sent to prison, then fine.” He shrugged. “Then I’m finished.” He breathed like he’d already accepted his fate. Danny shook her head, like she wasn’t accepting the defeat he’d already accepted.

“Jordan, I’m going to get you out of this.” She promised. “Then you’re going to get your shit together or we’re going to have a problem.” She threatened and he simply scoffed as the car came to a stop outside his hotel, he was quick to get out.

He had to dodge another ocean of reporters as he pushed his way into his hotel. He slipped into the room without a word and turned the shower on he sat down on the toilet burying his face in his hands, hating himself. Hating that this was probably the end of his career because he couldn’t get his shit together. For a moment he forgot that Lil was in the room and had probably seen the news.

After that night, things changed between her and Jordan. He became so shut down to her, sometimes, she felt like she was in love with a statue. He broke things off with Beverly, and he hadn't talked about it to her, but she'd stolen his phone once and listened to the voicemails. It hadn't exactly been a clean break, Bev was left a mess and Jordan seemed to care less. In fact, it almost scared Lily how little he seemed to care. In a weird way, she was actually the one bothered by it. As much as she wanted Jordan to be only hers, and she'd been pushing him to break up with Bev, it didn't exactly feel good knowing she'd helped break the heart of a girl that used to be a good friend to her.

A few days later, she was spotted out with Jordan, and the media jumped all over it. Jordan had a good team of publicists who worked tirelessly to keep her time as a porn star and a stripper out of the tabloids, but every so often, she still picked up a magazine with her and Jordan on it and a stupid headline about him fucking a porn star. It had only been two weeks since their big blowout and their relationship had been leaked, and already things were extremely different.

Jordan's career seemed to be circling the drain, and she could tell it filled him with frustration, rage, and regret, but he wouldn't talk about it to her. In fact, he very rarely talked to her at all. For the past two weeks, he'd been as good as stone to her. He gave her drugs, let her buy whatever she wanted with his money, but when she wasn't with him, she was locked in their hotel room by Romeo's guys, which was a lot.

Jordan seemed to be making little to no effort at all to see her. She knew his career was demanding and he had to spend a lot of time at events and practicing, but in two weeks she'd only gotten to go out with him a handful of times. A few times, it was suggested by Danny, so the public could see them on a "nice date" which basically had consisted of him slipping off to the bathroom to get high and her getting wasted on cocktails, the two of them hardly speaking a word together. Other then that, she only got to go out when Jordan had somewhere to be that he needed arm candy for.

She almost only saw him at night, if that. She'd been spending a lot of nights alone lately, not that being with him was all that much different from being alone anyway. He'd been getting so massively fucked on drugs, he was almost completely numb to her. Other then when they were fucking, she couldn't seem to get any type of response out of him and it bothered her deeply. She couldn't even seem to piss him off anymore. He'd get angry and they'd bicker, but it would fizzle out quickly because the next second, they'd having angry sex, which was the closest she could get to emotion from him. Sex was all he seemed to want from her anymore, and she was well aware of it. She was starting to feel used and it was killing her.

Not to mention Danny. The woman wasn't purposely cruel to her or anything, in fact, Danny was usually pretty nice to her. However, if was clear that Danny was under extra stress lately, working day and night to save the career Jordan seemed to have no interest in anymore. As such, she sometimes said things around her that made her feel guilty, like she was the reason Jordan was on the verge of losing everything he'd worked so hard for. It was really starting to eat at her. Tiger even had a bag that she kept packing and unpacking. Every time she filled it, she told herself she was just going to leave him because he'd grown bored of her and was better off without her anyway, but she couldn't actually go through with it so then she just emptied it again and went to get fucked up, or fuck Jordan.

They'd arrived in Seattle the night before. Lily had been expecting to at least spend the night in bed with Jordan before he had to get to practices and games and such, leaving her locked up in the room, but she didn't even get that much. She'd been in the middle of blowing him when one of his teammates had called and he'd answered the phone, talking to him very clearly about meeting up with some other teammates at a strip club while she finished him. Then he'd zipped up his jeans, told her he'd be back later, and left her alone, tortured with the thought of him and strippers. She liked to believe he was faithful to her, but she couldn't. Not with the way the past two weeks had been going.

Ty had spent the night getting fucked up, and fucking one of Romeo's men, Antonio. She'd slept with him a few times, and it was only because he was the one who brought her her drugs, so she was usually massively fucked up around him. Because of it, she tended to spill her guts about her problems with Jordan to him, and he didn't seem to mind. In fact, he listened. She didn't like cheating on Jordan, and would never leave him for Antonio in a million years, but she was always so high around him, and it felt good to have a real conversation, which had been seriously lacking between her and Jordan lately. Hell, Jordan hardly even looked at her anymore unless they were fucking. Even then, unless she provoked him by pissing him off a little first, the sex was usually pretty mindless. incredible, and intoxicating like always, but also pretty empty.

Lily had been in the hotel room alone all day after Antonio left. She'd texted Jordan, wondering where he was, but hadn't gotten an answer. As bad as his neglect had gotten, he usually at least told her where he was. This time, however, she had to find out from the TV. She'd been on the balcony, smoking a blunt, trying to calm her anxiety when she heard Jordan's name on the news that was playing in the background. Fear crossed her mind for a moment. Every time she didn't know where Jordan was and he ended up on the news, she was afraid maybe he'd died. Maybe he'd gone completely off the rails and O.Ded or something while she was sitting locked up in the hotel room, helpless.

Thankfully, he wasn't dead. He was in jail because he'd gotten into a fight at the strip club and the news coverage was pretty fucking brutal. As per usual, they painted her up to look like a whore and Jordan to look like he was losing it. She'd had to turn the story off before it even finished because she couldn't listen to it anymore.

That was when Jordan walked back in. He didn't even say anything to her. He just went straight past her into the bathroom and she heard the shower flip on. She let out a deep sigh. If felt good, that he was back, but at the same time, she was growing tired of the dead air between them. She just wanted him to talk to her. She wanted to know what he wanted from her, because she was giving him all the sex he wanted, but it didn't seem to matter. He didn't seem to want anything anymore, not her, not football, and she was seriously afraid she was going to lose him soon.

Lily put out her cigarette and did a line of coke quickly, knowing she needed to go to him, but wanting to be high. She went and stood in the bathroom doorway. She was wearing nothing but a short silk neglige because she hadn't gone anywhere all day. He was sitting on the toilet, looking worn and defeated. Lil bit her lip. She wanted to ask him what was wrong, but she knew it wouldn't get her anywhere. The only way she could relate to him anymore seemed to be sex, so she just walked over and knelt on the ground in front of him.

"I've missed you baby." She told him honestly. As cold as their relationship had gotten, she still missed him desperately every time he wasn't around. She pulled his hands from his face and leaned up a little on her knees, kissing him on the lips as she placed her hands on his knees. She kissed him harder, pushing him back a little and drifting her hands up to his belt, starting to undo it with expert fingers. She knew she probably smelled like a mix of Antonio and weed, and it was bound to piss him off a little, but she didn't care. It would make the sex a little rougher, and angrier, and she'd actually get some sort of emotional response from him. It was why she hadn't showered or bothered hiding the fact that Antonio's cigarettes were in the ashtray.

"I've been waiting for you all day." She breathed seductively against his lips as he hands undid his jeans then. "I'm already wet for you daddy." She smirked before bending her head to start blowing him. She blew him for a while, getting him worked up, before stopping. She gave him another kiss on the lips before standing and pulling off her nightgown, tossing it aside as she gave him a suggestive look over her shoulder and stepped into the shower, wanting him to follow her and finish what she'd just started.

Budapest was like a dream. For maybe three days. Him and Lane seemed to get along better then they ever had in their lives, even as teenagers and he just couldn't get enough of her, however, things soured pretty quickly because they'd brought Louie along. Louie had become Laney's personal slave and it was driving Cody crazy to watch, which, of course, Laney knew. It was causing so much tension between them, it was unbearable.

She seemed to have a deep mistrust of him and he couldn't really blame her. Afterall, he'd fucked her best friend years ago, and he was an active, manipulative criminal. He'd been taking more jobs then he could reasonably handle on purpose lately. He had to get out of the house and away from what Laney was doing to Louie. He couldn't stand watching it. He didn't love Louie, he hadn't even really had romantic feelings of any kind for her, but they did have a history. She'd saved his life and been a loyal friend and lover for several years, and in return, he'd handed her off to Laney to be tortured.

The past day or so, things had been pretty good. He'd gotten along with Lane pretty well, they'd spent a good amount of time fucking and actually enjoying each other before she'd left to get her nails done. He'd gone out to meet with a potential partner, and the meeting had been quicker then he'd expected.

When he came home, he found Louie in the bedroom crying hysterically. It was so fucking hard to see. Louie had always been a pillar of strength and resolution. She was the kind of girl who knew what she wanted and got it. Now she was broken and sobbing on the floor because she'd knocked over some of Laney's coke, spilling it on the floor. It wasn't that big of a deal really, they could afford all the coke in the world, that was for sure, but Lane was still going to kick Louie's ass for it just because she could.

It had hurt him to see Louie on her knees, crying like she didn't know what else to do. He'd helped her up, called a dealer to replace the coke, and gotten her a drink to try and calm her down, promising her he wouldn't tell Laney. Before he even knew what was happening, Louie had kissed him, and then they were in bed together, and she was on top of him, fucking him like Lane didn't even exist, which, of course, was a far worse crime then the spilled coke.

They fucked for a while, and when they finally finished, she rolled off him. He kissed her on the lips and told her he wouldn't tell, but it couldn't happen again, and she agreed before getting dressed and he pulled on his jeans, walking over to the door with her. He opened the door and gave her one more kiss before he realized Lane was sitting there in the hallway, tears staining her cheeks. She'd heard the whole thing and his chest tightened. Fuck.

Louie ran off, terrified and Cody sighed, running his fingers through his hair, not sure what to say. “I guess I deserve that.” She finally breathed through her tears and he felt like complete shit. He just couldn't do anything right by her. No matter what he did, someone was getting seriously hurt, whether it was her or Louie, and he felt like he was going insane. “You don’t even kiss me like that.” She breathed honestly, starting to cry again and he sighed, guilt eating him alive.

"Fuck Lane, I'm sorry. It just happened." He breathed, knowing it was probably the lamest excuse ever concocted, but she'd caught him red handed and he didn't know what to say. "You know I don't love her, I love you so much I let you torture her." He said simply, walking past her then and down the hall, towards the kitchen. If they were about to fight or Laney was about to cry or find Louie and punish her in front of him, he needed a drink. He went straight for the liquor cabinet, making himself a whiskey, knowing, even though he'd walked away from her, the conversation was far from over.

Delaney was tired of herself, if she was being honest sometimes she wished that she wasn’t so set in her self-destructive ways. Everything had been okay up until this point, not perfect but decent enough. She’d already known that her and Cody were hell bound, there was no way around that, their past had made them this way. Her father’s history of abuse and the mind fuck of his mom being okay one minute and trying to kill him the next. The only way they knew how to be was erratic. She’d never felt so broken though as she did catching Cody with Louie. She’d take a million and one of her father’s cruel remarks or Alex’s beatings over catching Cody with someone else.

She felt vulnerable, like all of her emotional instability was showing through. She knew she didn’t really have a right to be upset with Cody, while in the same respect she did. She couldn’t’ be mad at him because a part of her felt like she’d driven him to this point. While she wanted to hate him, because of all the people she knew Cody was the one who always kept his promise, who rarely let her down. He’d broken his promise not to touch Louie this time and it cut her deeper than any fight they’d had, then any abuse she’d ever endured. She’d never felt the urge to give up more than she did now.

"Fuck Lane, I'm sorry. It just happened." he breathed like his answer was an acceptable one. She felt a scream at the base of her throat, but she pushed it down. He could have at least spared her the truth, told her he was high and didn’t know what he was doing or that Louie had held a gun to his head. Anything other than ‘it just happened’. "You know I don't love her, I love you so much I let you torture her." He breathed simply and she felt a twinge of hatred settle over her skin for him. Like him not loving her, made it okay for him to fuck her.

He slipped away from her then without another word, she honestly couldn’t’ believe that he was just going to leave her there so fucking broken. Lane didn’t cry, yet here she was sulking heavily on the floor and he’d just walked away. She watched him until he disappeared down the stairs, before finally peeling herself off the ground and making her way into her room. She grabbed her designer coke, cutting lines and doing one after another. It hit her sober system so heavily and quickly her heart pounded painfully in her chest. She thought her heart might explode and a part of her hope it did. Her head felt light, her nose burned. She glanced up at her reflection in the mirror as she whipped the blood from her nose.

She pulled the necklace from around her neck out from its hiding spot between her breasts. A razor blade dangled from it. She hadn’t touched it since she’d moved back in with James, but she couldn’t fight the brokenness she felt and the way her skin practically itched like an addict to feel the sharp edge of the blade. She tried to talk herself out of it, the C branding on her shoulder, that Cody had given her when they were just kids throb as if a warning for her not to do it. She ignored it, running the blade horizontally along her wrist, cutting dangerously deep. She winced as the razor sliced through her skin like butter, but she felt that haunting release that kept her addicted to cutting.

Blood surfaced too quickly from her fresh wound, but she didn’t seem to care. All that mattered was that she felt better. She slipped into the bathroom then, the drugs giving her a deadly courage to go fight with Cody. She grabbed a towel, heavily pressing it against her bleeding wrist, feeling another wave of light headedness from the loss of blood. She started down the stairs and found Cody drinking in the kitchen, like she hadn’t just caught him fucking Louie. She lend against the counter continuing to apply pressure as she felt her body weaken a bit. She wanted Cody to give her another shitty excuse but when he didn’t she spoke. When he finally looked at her she watched his eyes fall on the towel that was absorbing the blood at a fast rate.

“It just kind of happened.” She said cruelly with a simple shrug, repeating his words, wanting him to know how shitty his excuse sounded. She felt the tears start to well up in her eyes once more, this time they were angry not sad. “You’re a fucking mistake.” She hissed. “This whole thing was a fucking mistake.” She breathed referring to coming there with him. “But will get through it, because you love me so much.” She mocked his words once more. “I wish your mom could see what a piece of shit you turned into.” She spat, feeling dizzy knowing that bringing up him mom was dangerous but she didn’t care.

She turned away from him then, heading back to her room. She was suddenly fearful that she’d cut too deep, then again if she had maybe it was for the best.

Jordan was so damn conflicted. He had a million different paths he could take, a thousand different choices to make. He didn’t want to though. He wanted everything to go his way like it had been for so long. He wanted to be with Bevie, because she deserved to have her happy ending, but he didn’t love her. He needed Ty, but they couldn’t seem to find a happy medium. He hadn’t let herself get close enough to her to actually let her hurt him, he kept himself closed off and still the current state of their relationship made him feel like shit. He wanted his football career, but he was tired of not being able to live freely. He couldn’t stick up for his girlfriend or his career was threatened. He couldn’t enjoy himself because paparazzi and fans were always following him. He was just so tired of all the shit and he needed a moment to breath, but he’d never get that moment.

It didn’t help that he knew he’d have to face Bevie. He’d have to get his shit and his dogs out of the house they shared. He’d have to face the media and give a statement about his outburst. If Danny couldn’t get him out of the hole he’d dug himself this time, he’d have to go to prison. All of it was weighing too heavily on him and he was on the verge of completely breaking down. He ran his hands through his hair, trying to collect himself. Being upset over the issue wasn’t going to change it, he was either going to have to disappear or get his shit sorted out. There was no other way around it and he knew that it would come down to him having to sort his shit out, he was too well-known to up and disappear.

He could feel Lily’s presence the second she lend in the door way. It was just as heavy as his guilty grief weighing on him. He needed to be alone, to clear his head, but he knew she wasn’t going to let him be alone and he was grateful for that. For once he wanted her around to distract his growing self-hatred. She knelt down in front of him and the smell of weed mixed without another man made his jaw clench. He hated that she was fucking around on him. Not that he’d admit it.

"I've missed you baby." she breathed and even though honesty stained her voice, his pride wouldn’t let him believe her. She pulled his hands away from their resting place on his face as she sat on her knew in front of him. He hated how beautiful she was, in nothing but a neglige that he hadn’t taken the time to actually admire her in yet. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d let himself get lost in her deep grey-blue eyes. He missed her that much he was sure of and he wasn’t sure how much longer he could keep up being mad at her.

She pressed her lips against his and at first, he didn’t kiss her back. He was still trying to teach her a lesson. Still trying to prove a point that he had the control, even as much as he loved her she couldn’t just act like a psychotic bitch whenever she wanted. He fought a shiver as she placed a hand on his knee and even through his jeans and numbness he could feel that spark and heat that still very much existed between them. He felt his anger with her attitude, her infidelities, and the events from the past few weeks quickly melting away, despite his best everts to hold on to them.

"I've been waiting for you all day." She breathed seductively, but he ignored it trying to fight the urge to give into her. Her hands crept to his jeans, undoing them with mature hands and he sighed, tempted to stop her, but he didn’t. “I'm already wet for you daddy." She breathed and he tried to fight the half smirk that took over his lips. She lend in then as she started to blow him, he was hard before she’d even taken him into her mouth. She had an effect on him that no matter how hard he tried to hide it, he couldn’t. He groaned as she worked at getting him closer and closer to his breaking point, before she finally pulled away.

She gave him another kiss and this time he kissed her back, without thinking. He nightgown slid slowly down the length of her arms, his eyes never leaving her body. She was perfect, every single curve of her body drove him absolutely crazy. He licked his lips, smirking as she tossed her nightgown aside, giving him a suggestive look as she slipping into the shower. He debated on giving into her, debated just walking away and leaving her to her own devices. He decided however, if he did that he’d be left to his tormented thoughts and that seemed detrimental to his sanity.

He stood up slipping out of his clothes and following her into the shower, he pushed her roughly against the wall as the hot water soaked the both of them. He kissed her hard with actual passion in the kiss, for the first time in a while. One of his hands slid along the curves of her body, slowly. He knew every inch of her body like the back of his hand, yet he never once got tired of exploring it. His hand slipped between the two of them and between her legs as she started to rub her hitting her most sensitive spot with little effort in trying to find them. His lips left hers moving along her jawline slowly. He paused at her ear.

“Did you enjoy his touch.” He asked letting her know he was well aware of what she’d done, however he didn’t sound as mad as he typically could be when he was high. For the moment he was sober and it would pay off in the end to satisfy both of them. He was a much better lover when he wasn’t drugged up. He nipped at her ear as his fingers slipped inside her with ease, he smirked against her skin. “”I hope not.” He breathed, his tone warning. He let his hands move fluidly in and out of her for a long moment before he pulled them out of her and spun her around quickly, pressing her face into the shower wall, while his lips teased her shoulder blades. “We gotta get our shit together babe.” The way he said we told her that even as pissed off as he’d been with her, that didn’t change the fact that they were still a team, she was still his. Nothing had changed that.

He kicked her legs open wider then, he was impatient and he needed to feel that incredible way only she could make him feel, he adjusted himself to match her hips before he pushed himself inside of her, not waiting for her approval or readiness.

Lily stood in the water stream, letting it soak her hair and body, smirking as she heard Jordan get up and start to pull his clothes off. She knew he was going to follow her, just from the way he'd been groaning and gripping her hair as she blew him. She knew he wouldn't be able to resist, no matter how frustrated or upset he was with her or his life. He was sober, that much she could tell and she knew he wouldn't want to be sober for long. She was going to be his next hit.

Jordan stepped into the shower with her then and before she could even turn herself to look at him, he had her slammed against the shower wall, the water pouring down over their naked bodies. He kissed her hard on the lips and Tiger let out a deep, hungry moan. For the first time in what felt like forever, her knees were weak. He was kissing her passionately, not hatefully or emptily, a little angrily sure, but mostly passionately. It felt so good, she almost fell apart and all he'd done was kiss her. She was instantly starving for him.

One of his hands started to explore her body then, sliding down along her skin and she kissed him even more eagerly, wanting what she knew was coming next. His hand slipped between them, his fingers finding their way between her legs to rub her. Lily instantly started moaning against his lips, having a hard time concentrating on kissing him now with what he was doing to her. He knew all the right ways and places to touch her to drive her wild. No one knew her body the way he did. He could drag out an orgasm for a good hour if he wanted, or get her to climax in mere minutes, he knew exactly what got her going and how to get the exact reaction he wanted from her.

His lips started to trail her jaw and she tilted her head back slightly, her moans breathless and desperate, wanting him to get to it already. “Did you enjoy his touch.” He asked in her ear then, clearly referring to Antonio and she knew it was fucked up, but she just smirked, knowing he was going to be extra rough with her out of irritation and jealousy. He wouldn't admit it out loud, but he sure as hell took it out on her when they fucked. It wasn't exactly storybook love, but at least it was something. She couldn't stand when he seemed completely numb to her, even as he fucked her sometimes. Nothing hurt her more.

Jordan nipped her ear in a way that made her shudder before he slipped his fingers inside her and she moaned loudly and placed her hands on his shoulders, gripping him tightly while he fingered her. His lips smirked almost arrogantly against her skin, like he knew exactly what he did to her. ”I hope not.” He practically warned, his fingers moving in and out of her quickly, working her up fast, she was trembling despite the hot water, and knew, if he didn't fuck her soon, she was going to finish before he even started.

He whirled her around then and Tiger smirked as he shoved her face against the shower wall, gladly pressing her cheek against the tile and pushing her hips back against him, wanting to entice him. She grinded her hips back against him a little as he teased her shoulder blades, soft moans escaping her in just sheer anticipation. “We gotta get our shit together babe.” He said then and she nodded, letting out a low moan. It was the most sincere thing he'd said to her in weeks and it felt good to hear him say we. If nothing else, it meant he still wanted her. He wasn't bored with her, he still wanted a future with her.

Jordan kicked her legs open wider then and she bit her lip hard, waiting and more then ready for him. He didn't wait for her to ask, or make her beg like he usually did. Instead, he just shifted himself so their hips were aligned before pushing himself inside her, sealing her body tight against the shower wall, causing her to let out a sharp, gasping moan. He fucked her so hard it took her breath away. "I don't think we can." She managed to gasp against the tile, a wicked smirk coming to her lips as he started to fuck her even harder, knowing that statement would irritate him a little as well as excite him.

They fucked in the shower until the water ran cold and her knees were weak. By the time she came, she was screaming, but she knew they weren't done yet. She'd barely caught her breath before Jordan flipped off the cold water and took her by the hair, dragging her out to the bedroom and throwing her down on the bed, continuing to fuck her mercilessly. They stopped occasionally for drugs to keep them going, and every fucking second was incredible. It was by far the best sex they'd had in weeks and she didn't want it to end.

Eventually though, she had to beg him to stop because, as much as she wanted to keep going, her body wouldn't let her. She was absolutely wiped. Lily was laying on his chest naked in bed, her breathing slowing as she closed her eyes and listened to his heartbeat. She let out a shaky sigh as she reached over to the nightstand and grabbed a cigarette. Ty lit it and inhaled deeply before settling her head back on his chest. She wanted to enjoy the moment for as long as she could while she had it, before she darkness slipped back in and he pushed her off him and was cold as stone to her all over again, leaving her feeling used and wondering if she even made him happy.

"Do you still love me?" Lily whispered with an exhale of smoke, voice small and fragile, and not just because she was physically exhausted. The question scared her because she wasn't even sure she knew the answer anymore. She was afraid asking him would cause him to reach for drugs and shut down all over again, or worse, maybe he would say something that would kill her, like no or I don't know. She took one of his hands in hers and laced their fingers, hating that a tear escaped one of her eyes and landed on his chest. She choked the rest of them back and brought her cigarette to her lips, inhaling deeply. It would kill her but she wouldn't blame him if he said no. She was ruining his life, afterall.

Cody slammed back three glasses of whiskey in a few short seconds. As cold as he was acting towards the situation, he felt like pure shit. He wished he could be what she deserved, but he couldn't. Every time he tried to be good to her, she got bored and started in on Louie, purposely trying to sabotage things. It was the most fucked up situation ever, but he was too selfish to let her go, no matter how determined they both were to be miserable.

If she tried to leave him, he would follow her, and if she insisted, he'd more than likely kill her. If he couldn't have her, no one could, that was the way he'd been thinking lately and it was scaring him. Lane was pushing every ounce of his patience so he'd lost himself momentarily and let Louie back in. It hadn't meant anything, but he knew that didn't matter. It had still happened in the bed he shared with Laney, and she'd been sitting outside the door listening to every moan and groan. There was no band aid for what he'd just done, nothing he could say to make it better. He didn't even have a decent excuse.

He drank for a long moment, before his shoulders tensed, knowing Lane was in the room with him. He prepared himself for whatever was going to happen. She was going to cry, or drag Louie into the room for some torture, or maybe scream at him. Whatever it was, it was going to be a full meltdown and he'd have no defense. He had no fucking reason for what he'd done and wasn't sure how to fix it.

Laney came to lean on the counter next to him then, and instantly, his eyebrows rose and he set his drink aside. Fuck. She'd cut into her wrist and it was bleeding profusely all over a towel. Her face already looked a little pale and she was looking weak on her own two feet. He wouldn't be surprised if she'd hit something major and was likely to die if the wound wasn't dealt with.

He wanted to jump her, to hold her down and bandage her wrist up, then empty the house of razors and lock her up somewhere she couldn't hurt herself. Seeing her standing there, bleeding like that cut him deeply. It hurt, and he was suddenly terrified for her and three times as guilty. If she did die, it would be on his hands and they both knew it. That was why she'd done it.

“It just kind of happened.” She said, parroting his words back to him, angry tears welling up in her eyes. He had to look away. He had done this to her and it killed him. “You’re a fucking mistake. This whole thing was a fucking mistake.” She hissed and his jaw clenched. The words hurt, but she was right. He couldn't take care of her the way she deserved and she couldn't seem to love him the way he needed. They were a trainwreck, no matter how happy they made each other. “But will get through it, because you love me so much.” She mocked him and he sighed, feeling like maybe for the first time, love wasn't enough. “I wish your mom could see what a piece of shit you turned into.” She spat, truly cutting him to the core and he had to actually fight back a few tears on that one. His mother was a soft spot for him and she knew it, that's why she'd gone after it.

She started to walk back to their room then, only she was walking rather slow and leaning heavily against the wall as she went. Cody sighed. On one hand, he had the strongest urge to strangle her for bringing up his mother. On the other, he knew he'd hurt her enough for one night. He didn't want to face her anymore, knowing she was just going to spit hateful shit at him for the rest of the night, but he had to help her. If she died, he'd never forgive himself, and he needed her, even if he didn't want to admit it.

Cody went after her. He scooped her up in his arms, and she tried to get away from him, but he wouldn't let her, he was too strong and she was losing blood fast, making her weak. He carried her upstairs and sat her on the toilet in the bathroom, pulling out some medical supplies while he held the towel to her wrist with one hand so tightly, he knew it would hurt. He had to hurt her. He had to get the bleeding to at least slow.

He knelt in front of her as he started to work on her wrist, cleaning it, stitching it in a few spots, and wrapping it tightly, doing everything in his power to control the bleeding, and it seemed to be working. "What do you want from me Lane?" He finally breathed, exhausted as he pulled away from her and sat back against the wall, across from her. He lit a cigarette and took a deep inhale. "I'll kill her if that's what you want me to do. I just can't keep watching you torture her." He sighed deeply, pure pain in the words as he said them, but also honesty. He hated the idea of killing Louie, it tore him to pieces, but if Lane needed it to know he was serious, he would do it. She was more important than anything in the world to him. Even Louie's life.

Laney was starting to realize that it didn’t matter how much her and Cody loved each other. It didn’t matter how much they thought they knew each other. They were both different people now, they’d lived different lives for the past five years and maybe that was their problem. Maybe they were too focused on trying to hold on to their past, trying to love who they were as teenagers when that time had long since passed them. Lane wasn’t sure they’d work out if Cody had to love her for who she was now, she’d never be that Laney he knew again, she’d done too much and seen too much to be that carefree sixteen-year-old he’d fallen for. If Delaney was being honest, Cody was far to mature for her, too much of a man for her. She didn’t deserve him and she wasn’t sure she could continue to hold onto someone to good for her.

It was the reason she ended up with the kind of guys she did. James hadn’t been awful, he’d actually treated her decently that was why she’d cheated. She knew Alex was a terrible person, which was why he’d done what she had. Lane was convinced that she didn’t’ deserve anything good, thanks to her father. Cody was another one of those things and a reason she tried to push him away, she didn’t want him to love her, because she didn’t deserve it and honestly that was where her problems stemmed from.
Delaney didn’t realize how weak she was getting until Cody lifted her up and she tried to fight back. She was barely able to fight back. She should have known that Cody wouldn’t just leave her alone. He carried her up to the bathroom and sat her down on the toilet. She felt light headed and on the verge of passing out as he started to work on her wrist. He pressed down tightly on her open wound, causing her to wince, she sucked in a breath of air hating how much pain she was in and hoe weak she probably looked.

When Cody was finished wrapping her up, her eyes fell to her newly bandaged wrist, she ran her thumb across it slowly. "What do you want from me Lane?" he finally breathed like he was exhausted with her efforts to push him away and hurt him. The smell of his brand of cigarette smoke flood her nose, it was a smell that was forever branded in her memory. It was how she knew he was near when they were teens. It always gave him away when he’d come up behind her and cover her eyes. "I'll kill her if that's what you want me to do. I just can't keep watching you torture her." He sighed deeply and she hated herself for want to tell him to kill her. Lane wasn’t a murder, despite putting the idea into Cody’s head, the same way Cody wasn’t a murderer but he’d done it for her. The more time that past, the guiltier she felt about James’s death.

“I think…” She trailed off, hesitating because she didn’t want to say the words that were on her mind. “I think I should leave.” She breathed softly. She knew it was what was best for both of them, she couldn’t shake the feeling that Cody would be much better off without her. She sunk down to the floor, making it clear that even though she thought she should leave, she didn’t want to. She was hoping that Cody would give her an excuse to stay, but she wouldn’t blame him if he didn’t. She wouldn’t hold it against him if he agreed that she needed to leave. She let her eyes find his finally, unable to stop the silent tears from burning down her cheeks. She hated that she was crying in front of him for the second time in the same day.

“I’m fucked up.” She admitted honestly. “I don’t think I can ever let you close to me, even if you mean the world to me. That’s just not how I work.” She continued to confess, admitting her faults for the first time ever. This was the most intimate about her emotions she’d ever been with anyone and it was clear by the way it seemed to hurt her to even talk about. “I haven’t been the same since…” she trailed off letting out a shuttered breath, as if she was having second thoughts about telling him something she’d never told anyone, not even Tiger knew the extent of the story she was about to tell Cody. “I don’t know if you remember, but there was a party in Chicago we were all supposed to go to,” she started letting her eyes fall away from his. “Tiger and I were the only ones that ended up going and things got out of control…Draco was there.” The words left her lips with a sickening amount insinuation and she knew that she wouldn’t have to go anymore into detail, Cody was smart enough to put it together. “It seemed like after that night, I just lost myself. I had to have an abortion…” she trailed off letting out a shaky breath. “My dad was convinced it was Jordan’s baby or yours or Justin’s.” she admitted “And he beat the shit out of me, that was why you weren’t allowed to see me.” She said, the tears falling harder. “I had to leave, I thought…I thought I could fix myself, but I just got worse.” She shrugged unable to bring herself to look at him. “It’s going to be the same for us.” She sighed. “I’m only going to drag you down with me and I can’t do that to you babe.” She breathed honestly.

Sex with Tigerlily had always been incredible. No one else compared to her and it wasn’t just because she was his first everything. It was because he knew he honestly loved her and fucking her whether it was out of love or anger, didn’t matter because he honestly loved her. Even when the sex was supposedly empty he felt a million and one more things for her then he’d ever felt for another woman. That was saying a lot, considering he’d slept with his fair share of ladies, from strippers to fans to girls he’d picked up in bars. It didn’t matter how high or drunk he was when he’d fucked them, they had never and would never make him feel the way Lily could.

She’d said something snarky and it had only irritated him into fucking her harder which he was sure was the whole reason she’d said it. They’d fucked for half the night easily. They’d end up on the bed and he wouldn’t have stopped had she not begged him. He could tell she was exhausted and honestly after the events of the last twenty-four hours, when he’d finally rolled off her he was more tired then he’d thought he was. The blanket covered him from the waist down as she laid on his chest. This was the first time in a long time that he hadn’t just gotten off her and left after they were finished and he’d almost forgotten how nice it felt just to lay there with her even if they weren’t talking.

He pressed his cigarette to his lips taking a long drag off of it, letting it feel his lungs as she lit her own cigarette. He made the mistake of letting his thoughts wonder. He knew deep down that he was still upset about her and Cody. He wished so badly he could just get over it, because if he could there was no doubt in his mind that they could be a power couple. Maybe they could get their shit together. The problem was, he still had issues over it and Lil could read him like a book and although he wasn’t showing any signs of being upset over their past, she could most likely sense it. She felt guilty. They were both suppressing emotions and not dealing with them like they probably should and it was causing a hurricane of destruction and dysfunction.

He knew that he should probably get over it, because it seemed like another lifetime ago that it had happened. However, Jordan didn’t quite know who he’d be without that seeding bitterness. It was tangled so deeply in the core of who he was. It was what had driven his success, his issues, his bad behavior, and while all those were things he could do without it was still a huge part of him that he wasn’t sure he could give up no matter how much he loved Tiger.

[/b]"Do you still love me?"[/b] Ty breathed pulling him from his thoughts. The answer was a no brainier, the answer would always be yes. It didn’t matter how mad he was with her or how badly she broke his heart, he was and always had been deeply in love with her. He just wasn’t sure they could ever work things out if she was willing to bend and he wasn’t willing to let the past go.
He didn’t have to look at her to tell she was crying, he knew her better then he knew himself if he was being honest. He let out a sigh of smoke, not answering as his fingertips traced her spine softly. It was probably the gentlest way he’d touched her since they’d been back together. Jordan debated on lying to maybe get her to leave, because he wasn’t sure he was any better than her ex or her brother. His fits would only get worse and so would his methods of punishment, because he had an issue with needing to control situations. Still, Jordan was too honest about his feelings for her. He’d always been open when it came to the way he felt about her. When he’d been a teenager he couldn’t count the number of times Cody and Justin had told him to shut the fuck up because he’d go on and on about how he was positive Ty was his soulmate. Even the day before he’d left her he’d told her he’d loved her and he’d been honest, even after she’d crushed him.

With that hand that was running up and down her spine her pulled her closer to him, he pressed his lips against the top of her head letting them linger there for a long moment as if telling her all she needed to know. His hand rested on her back and even now, her skin felt like pure electricity against his. That was how he’d always known it was real with her. Whether they were fucking, fighting, or talking there was always a heavy presence between them, an undeniable connection.

“I’ve always loved you and I always will.” He admitted honestly, his voice low, like the words were only for her despite the emptiness of the room. “I’ve always been yours.” He breathed letting her know that even when they were with other people, it was her that his heart belonged to. His hand came up brushing her hair away from her shoulder, before he rested his hand on her bare shoulder. He put out his cigarette, running his free hand through his hair. “I’d spend the rest of my life with you, but I don’t think that’s what you want.” He said honestly. “I don’t think either of us can function normally, we’re too fucked up.” He said bluntly. “I don’t know if this…” he trailed off referring to their relationship. “Is worth our sanity.” He admitted. “I know what I want, I’ve wanted the same thing since I was fourteen.” He breathed, making it all too clear that he’d loved her for nearly half his life. “I’m just not sure what you want or if either of us are willing to give in and figure this out.” He breathed like if they couldn’t come to an honest agreement they might have to call it quits.

“Be honest babe, don’t lie for my sake.” He said looking down at her. “Do you love me? Or are you just comfortable?” he asked bluntly. “What is it that’s going to make you happy?” he questioned.

Jordan's fingertips were running up and down her spine gently, just barely touching her skin, and it felt so fucking good. She closed her eyes as she smoked, letting out a soft, satisfied sigh. That was the amazing thing about Jordan. Even as terrified as she was for his answer, and despite how close she was to full blown tears, she was completely relaxed and content. She hadn't been held by him in weeks, and she hadn't been touched so gently by him since they were teenagers. If felt incredible, and she almost wished he wouldn't answer her question, because she was truly afraid that whatever he was about to say would ruin the moment and break her heart.

Jordan pulled her closer with the hand on her spine and she took a long drag off her cigarette, loving the way his bare skin felt against hers, even after fucking for so long and being so exhausted, her skin was still tingling in the most tempting way. His lips pressed against the top of her head and she let out a deep sigh of smoke, biting her lip as she waited for him to speak. “I’ve always loved you and I always will.” He said then, voice low, tone honest. It felt so good to hear those words. Lately, she'd been afraid that maybe he'd fallen out of love with her. Maybe he'd gotten bored with her or sick of her shit. “I’ve always been yours.” He breathed, and she had to raise a hand briefly to wipe a tear from her cheek before it could fall.

He gently brushed her hair off her shoulder, before resting his hand there and Lily took one last drag from her cigarette before flicking it over to the nightstand. “I’d spend the rest of my life with you, but I don’t think that’s what you want.” He said and she winced a little at that. She couldn't blame him for not knowing that all she wanted in the world was him. Honestly, if he proposed to her again, it would scare her shitless, and she'd likely do something to fuck it up all over again, but the bottom line was, she would say yes without even thinking.

“I don’t think either of us can function normally, we’re too fucked up.” He said, putting the truth out there bluntly and she hated how right he was. They would never have a normal relationship, even if they somehow found a way to balance things a little better, she knew it would never be a fairytale. “I don’t know if this… is worth our sanity.” He admitted and that hurt to hear, but she knew it was the truth. Sometimes she wondered if their relationship was worth all the fucking bullshit.

“I know what I want, I’ve wanted the same thing since I was fourteen.” He breathed, and she let out a shuddering breath. “I’m just not sure what you want or if either of us are willing to give in and figure this out.” He breathed and she wanted him to stop. He was doing nothing but telling the truth and saying the things that needed to be said, but she was afraid that it might break them up and she couldn't bear the thought. “Be honest babe, don’t lie for my sake.” He said looking down at her and she turned her head so her chin was resting against his chest and she could look up at him to meet his eyes. “Do you love me? Or are you just comfortable?” he asked and she chewed on the inside of her cheek. Of course she loved him. There was no other answer to that question. “What is it that’s going to make you happy?” he questioned.

Lily sighed deeply, turning her head again so her cheek was against his chest and closing her eyes. "I love you so much it fucking hurts." She breathed, honesty in her voice, needing him to know it was the truth. He didn't always trust her, and she knew that, half the time when she spoke, he looked at her like she was lying, but if he didn't believe a word she'd ever spoken, at the very least, she needed him to believe she loved him. "I need you baby." She whispered before rolling up onto him so she was sitting on him. She placed a hand on either side of his head and leaned in close, so her face was close to his, her eyes holding his.

"You make me feel. Without you, I'm numb." She told him, leaning even further in, pressing her lips against his firmly, before pulling back slowly, her teeth pulling at his bottom lip just a little. God it felt so good to kiss him. "You make me happy, you're all I want for the rest of my life." She admitted, biting her lip hard as she looked down at him, hoping he felt the same way. They were a tragic mess, but she wasn't sure she could live without him. As miserable as she was with him sometimes, she was fucking nothing without him. "We're always going to be a fucking mess." She told him bluntly. No matter how hard they tried, they'd never get their shit together, that was a fact. "If you're tired of the mess, then ask me to leave, I will." She told him, holding his eyes even though the words hurt to say.

“I think…” Laney trailed off, sounding weak from the loss of blood and hesitant to say whatever was coming next, which made him nervous. “I think I should leave.” She breathed softly and it didn't matter how quietly and weakly she'd said it, she may as well have punched him in the chest. This wasn't like her threatening to leave him in the middle of a fight, this was different. She was serious and suddenly, he felt like he couldn't breathe. Just thinking about living without her was unbearable.

She sat down across from him and he just sat there and smoked, watching her. Everything in him was telling him to fight for her. To refuse to let her leave, but he knew she had more to say so he waited, even though it was killing him. “I’m fucked up.” She admitted and he knew that. So was he, hopelessly fucked up. “I don’t think I can ever let you close to me, even if you mean the world to me. That’s just not how I work.” She continued to and he wanted to stop her, knowing where this was going.

“I haven’t been the same since…” she trailed off and he knit his brows, knowing something dark was coming “I don’t know if you remember, but there was a party in Chicago we were all supposed to go to,” she started as she looked away from him and he nodded, letting her know he remembered the night she was referring to. “Tiger and I were the only ones that ended up going and things got out of control…Draco was there.” She said and instantly, his hair stood up on the back of his neck, knowing what that meant.

Draco was a sick freak and so were the majority of his friends. They didn't exactly know the details, Jordan and Laney knew more then most of them, but the whole group knew Draco was an abusive piece of shit to both his sisters. And he'd never known for sure, but he had a sinking suspicion that Draco had something to do with Tiger's sister's sudden disappearance years ago. It didn't take much imagination to figure out what had happened to Laney at that party if Draco had been there.

“It seemed like after that night, I just lost myself. I had to have an abortion…” she trailed off letting out a shaky breath and he wished like hell there was something he could do. Hell, he had half a mind to go back home to Gary just to put a bullet in Draco's skull. “My dad was convinced it was Jordan’s baby or yours or Justin’s. And he beat the shit out of me, that was why you weren’t allowed to see me.” She said, crying harder now and he wanted her to stop. He wanted to have the right words to heal what Draco and her father had fucked up inside her, but he didn't, he wasn't sure what to say. “I had to leave, I thought…I thought I could fix myself, but I just got worse. It’s going to be the same for us.” She sighed and he shook his head. “I’m only going to drag you down with me and I can’t do that to you babe.” She breathed honestly.

Cody flicked his cigarette away then and went over to Laney, crouching in front of her and grabbing her face in both his hands, holding her eyes. "I fucking love you Laney." He breathed, needing her to know that first. "Every broken piece of you, okay?" He sighed, letting her know that, even though she was fucked up, he still loved her. He didn't love the good parts of her, he loved all of her. Even when she was raging like a bitch and torturing Louie, he loved her. "Unless you can tell me, honestly, while looking in my eyes right now that you don't love me, I'm not fucking letting you leave because you're all that matters to me baby." He let out a deep sigh, his eyes still on hers, hoping like hell she wouldn't walk away from him. He wouldn't be able to survive it a second time.

"Why don't we take a trip?" He sighed, knowing running wasn't exactly an answer, but having a bit of an idea that might help. "We'll leave Louie behind, you can call Tiger, we can spend some time visiting her and Jordan." He shrugged, knowing Ty and Jordan were back together from TV and media. It was all over the place. Football's superhero was dating a former porn star and the tabloids were eating that shit up. He felt like, maybe seeing Tiger for a while would help Laney some. They'd always been close, and when he didn't have the answers for Lane, Ty usually did. He'd probably have to keep his distance from Jordan, seeing as their friendship wasn't exactly on great terms, but if it meant making Lane a little happier, seeing her best friend, he'd be more then willing to rehash the loss of his old friendship for her.

She was certain that Cody couldn’t love her after she told him why she was so broken. It was bad enough that ever since that night she’d felt utterly broken and no one had addressed it. She was just continuously forced to sweep the pain and issues it caused her under the mat. She’d become so numb and so good at protecting what was left of herself, that she was positive Cody would finally let her go. He’d finally give up on her, because what reason did he have to fight for her. There wasn’t a good enough reason, she told herself. Especially not when his life had probably been much simpler with Louie.

Her head hung in a broken, doll like manor, ready for Cody to agree with her. That they weren’t good for each other and she should leave. He knelt in front of her and she fought back a flood of tears that would cause her to cry even harder and the last thing she wanted was to look even more pathetic then she already did. He took her face in both his hands and she hated that she was holding his eyes and he could probably see the vulnerability in them.

"I fucking love you Laney." he breathed honestly surprising her. "Every broken piece of you, okay?"he admitted and she wasn’t sure she’d ever felt like he was being honest until that moment, not because Cody had had ever been dishonest, but because of the way he’d said it and the way his hands felt against her skin. "Unless you can tell me, honestly, while looking in my eyes right now that you don't love me, I'm not fucking letting you leave because you're all that matters to me baby." he kept his eyes on her as he let out a deep sigh.

The truth was, even if she looked him in the eyes and said she didn’t’ love him, he’d be able to tell it was a lie. Lane loved Cody, she trusted him with her life and she’d give her life for him. She adored him probably more than it was healthy to, which was why even though she said she thought she should leave, unless he kicked her out she wouldn’t be able to.

"Why don't we take a trip?" He sighed and she bit her lips, a trip would only be sweeping things under the rug yet again, but she’d go on a hundred trips if it meant she didn’t have to feel this shitty. "We'll leave Louie behind, you can call Tiger, we can spend some time visiting her and Jordan." He shrugged and she was quite for a long moment, she was hesitant to get part of the gang back together, it never quite seemed to end well. Alex had almost killed her the last time they were all together. She couldn’t seem to think of a better way to erase her current feelings though.

Cody was on to something, seeing Tiger might be good for Laney after the few months she’d been through. She’d been steadily communicating with very people, maybe it was time to surround herself with more than just ex-lovers, current lovers, and Louie. She let out a soft sigh as she lend forward pressing her lips to Cody’s weakly.

“Okay.” She nodded agreeing. “Let’s go see them.” She breathed softly. “Will you call them?” she asked holding his eyes, not really wanting to talk to Tiger while she felt this low. Although she wasn’t sure that Cody would really want to call Jordan or Tigerlily, seeing as his past with either of them wasn’t the best. She stood up then, pulling him up with her, she lead them out of the bathroom and into the room. She crawled into bed. "Call them after I fall asleep?" she breathed and it was her way of asking him to cuddle with her until she fell asleep. typically she'd want to fuck him and then fall asleep, but she was too weak and if she was being honest she was still pretty hurt of catching him with Louie.

Jordan was honestly a little terrified about what her answer might be, maybe she was with him for the money. Maybe she’d stopped loving him a long time ago. Maybe he was just in denial and her was the stupidest man alive for loving someone who’d never love him back. There were a million things running through his head. He was panicked on the inside while he remained completely collected on the outside. He was sober enough that if she told him anything other than she loved him, that he could take it in his stride and he have no other choice but to let her go. As much as he wanted to be a monster and force her to stay he was honestly too tired for that shit, he was already on the verge of losing his career, fighting her to stay, seemed daunting.

She let out a sigh and he felt his stomach tighten and his heart cringe as he waited for her to speak. She laid her head against his chest and he let his fingertips run slowly along her spine once more, to calm his own nerves even though it seemed like he was trying to comfort her. "I love you so much it fucking hurts." She finally and he let out a soft sigh, there was an honesty in her voice that couldn’t be faked and he was grateful for that. "I need you baby." She whispered and it was like her words had given him a second wind to fight for them.

She rolled over on top of him and lend up so that she was sitting up on him, her hips perfectly lining up with his and it took everything inside him not to roll her over and make actual love to her, instead of fucking him like they didn’t have an extensive past. He remained in control of his urges despite himself and simply rested his hands on her waist, loving the way her skin felt against his, wanting to taste her lips.

"You make me feel. Without you, I'm numb." she said leaning in close, a hand on either side of his head as she kissed him and he kissed her back with no hesitation. He kissed her like she meant everything to him, this kiss was polar opposite of the way he’d been kissing her for the past few months. As she pulled away she took his bottom lip with her between her teeth and he couldn’t help but let out a soft groan. "You make me happy, you're all I want for the rest of my life." she confessed as she tucked her own lip between her teeth and the look on her face killed him, it turned him on all over again and reminded him of a time when they’d had nothing to worry about, besides being wrapped up in each other. "We're always going to be a fucking mess." She stated bluntly and he sighed knowing she was right. "If you're tired of the mess, then ask me to leave, I will." she told him and he didn’t even have to think.

He was quick to flip them so that she was on her back and he was over her. He lend, in kissing her hard. Everything outside the hotel room, may be complete chaos. For the moment though, inside the hotel room they might be coming to something of a resolved agreement and that to him was more important than whether Danny was able to save his career not. He let his eyes shamelessly run over her naked body, wanting to show her just how much he didn’t want her to leave. His lips found her ear and he nibbled the skin lightly, wanting to drive her crazy as he conditioned her for another round of exhausting sex.

“I don’t want you to leave.” He whispered. “But, I need you to give a little.” Histone was practically begging for her to give into him, he didn’t mind her attitude, her fight. Hell, that’s was part of the reason he’d fallen in love with her, but she couldn’t be a raging bitch and drain him off all his resources to keep her safe and taken care of, even though he’d clearly put up with exactly that for the past month or so. He wasn’t warning her, he was telling her.

His lips moved along her neck and planned to mover further but before they could there was a banging on his door followed by Danny yelling at them from the other side of the door to get dressed. He groaned irritated, but also knew he was too deep in shit to ignore her. He kissed Tiger once more before rolling off of her and slipping his pants off, gesturing for her to get dressed. He opened the door, not bothering to put on a shirt as Danny slapped to airplane tickets against his chest, pushing herself into the room.

“You two need to be ready now.” She said simply, making it clear it wasn’t an option. Her eyes went to Jordan then. “Your suspended for the rest of the year, for treatment.” She breathed, repeating to him what he was positive she’d told the media and it was what was going to make it possible for him to play next season. “You’re going to rehab.” She explained. Jordan finally looked down at the tickets she’d put in his hands, before glancing back to Danny.

“In Havana?” he breathed confused, he wondered why the hell Danny was sending them to Cuba, for a rehab program.

“Correct.” She breathed as if she was waiting for him to put things together, when he didn’t do it quick enough however, she continued to explain. “You’re not going to rehab, she admitted like it was obvious. You’re getting out of the country, until your contract needs to be signed next summer.” He raised a brow and Danny rolled her eyes. “I know you’re going to fail out of Rehab, so there is no point and you need to be out of the spotlight, you’re not going to leave without her.” She gestured to Ty. “But you are going to get your shit together. Both of you.” She said simply. “If not, I won’t back you when you come back and sign.” She said honestly. “Now get your shit together, your flight leaves in an hour.” She breathed stepping out of the room to wait for them, so she could escort them.

Thankfully, Jordan didn't take too much time in responding to her. She was terrified he might kick her out of bed, and it would be as heart breaking as it would be humiliating. Instead of asking her to leave, however, he flipped her swiftly onto her back, his body over hers and she smirked up at him. His control issues drove her nuts because she was rebellious, and it got her in trouble, but she also loved it. It turned her on, and as he leaned in to kiss her hard on the lips, she started to think about sex again, even though she was physically spent.

His eyes ran along her naked body then and she couldn't help but bite her lip, loving the way his eyes raking her made her feel. She'd been looked up and down and her body had been admired countless times, but she'd never enjoyed it coming from anyone as much as she enjoyed it from Jordan. She could tell he was thinking of what he wanted to do to her and she loved knowing her wanted her, that she drove him nuts.

He brought his lips to her ear, teeth nipping her skin lightly in a way that sent a shudder through her. Fuck, her heart was racing in her chest all over again. She wasn't sure she could go another round, but she wouldn't be able to stop him because she wanted it. Even as tired as she was, she was already craving him again. He was doing it on purpose, knowing exactly how to get her going all over again even when she'd sworn she couldn't go another second.

“I don’t want you to leave.” He whispered and she let out a soft sigh, more then relieved. “But, I need you to give a little.” He begged and she bit her lip hard. He started to kiss her neck, and she knew she was going to fold. He'd frozen her out for two weeks, and now he was being more intimate with her then he had since they were teenagers. She wanted him more than she ever had in her life. She could tell her submitting to him a little was clearly not optional and she didn't exactly like it, but she was going to have to do what it took to keep him, even if it was hard for her.

Lily was about to kiss him again and promise to try as her hands drifted down between them. Before she'd even gotten to touch him, however, a loud banging on the door interrupted them. Danny barked at them through the door to get dressed and she wanted to pull Jordan's attention back to her and make him keep going, but she knew she couldn't do that. She was already dangerous enough for his career without keeping him from actually working.

Jordan rolled off her and pulled on jeans and Lily went to the closet and wrapped a silk robe around herself, giving it a tie as she watched him go to the door and open it. Danny slapped something against Jordan's chest and entered the room, completely unfazed by the obvious fact that she'd just interrupted a night of sex. It wasn't the first time she'd had to break it up to get Jordan to focus on his job again, it was just the first time in a few weeks.

Lily stood there, and listened as Danny explained to them that they'd be "going to rehab" in Havana. Basically, Jordan had to take a break, and they had to lie low, and Danny was going to spin it to the press like they'd gone to rehab. It wasn't exactly a secret from the public that she did drugs too, she'd been caught by paparazzi multiple times, and, some pretty vicious magazines had even claimed that she was the one who'd gotten Jordan on drugs and driven his career off the deep end. If anything was going to help their public image, it was a stint in rehab, even if it was fake. “Now get your shit together, your flight leaves in an hour.” She breathed before slipping out of the room.

Lily was a little shocked by the sudden news. She probably should have expected it, seeing as he'd just gotten home from being arrested for drugs and beating the shit out of someone. She hated that she was so excited. She knew it was going to be a little hard for Jordan, as much as he'd been questioning his career, he loved football, it was his life so it would be hard to take a forced break and watch his team play on without him. Still, selfishly, Lily was glad for the vacation. She hardly got to see Jordan because of his job and she was just eager to spend some real time with him.

Ty went over to Jordan and kissed him on the lips, standing on her toes and leaning into it, her heart starting to race all over again. If Danny wasn't right outside the door, she'd push him down on the bed and try to get every second she could. "Fuck me on the plane?" She offered against his lips, smirking and biting his lip before slipping off to the closet to pack her shit.

Once they were dressed and packed, Lily grabbed her bag and was ready to leave, but she slipped between Jordan and the door for a minute. "I'm going to try." She breathed eyes serious, referring to what they'd talked about and him asking her to give a little. "I'm not going to promise I won't push your buttons or bend the rules though." She warned him, letting him know, as much control as she gave him, she would never be completely tamed. She was too stubborn for that. With that, she took his hand and slipped out the door.

Laney was quiet for a long time and he waited in silence, knowing it wasn't exactly an easy yes or an obvious answer. Afterall, she and Tiger hadn't really spoken as friends since they were teenagers, and Lane did know that Lily had fucked him shortly after she'd left home. Still, he knew Ty could help Laney. Back when they were young, the two girls had been like sisters and when he hadn't known what to do regarding Lane, Ty always did.

It was going to be an interesting situation to say the least, but in the end, he had a feeling it would be good for Lane. She needed someone other than him and Louie in her life. The household of three wasn't exactly a happy home. Laney leaned forward and gave him a soft kiss on the lips and he kissed her back, relieved. He was glad she wasn't trying to kill herself or talking about leaving him anymore.

“Okay.” She nodded agreeing and Cody let out a soft sigh, happy things weren't over between them. “Let’s go see them.” She breathed softly and he nodded, knowing it was the right move, and hoping Tiger and Lily wouldn't be bothered. Ty would probably be glad to see Laney, but he knew that Jordan was pretty busy with football, and his relationship with both Ty and Jordan was pretty rocky.

“Will you call them?” Laney asked him then and his jaw clenched a little, though he did his best to hide it. He hated that he had to be the one to call now, but he wasn't about to tell her no. Not after nearly losing her. She stood and lead him out to the bedroom, crawling into bed, clearly tired from the blood loss and emotions of the evening. "Call them after I fall asleep?" she breathed and he just nodded, knowing she wanted to be held.

Cody climbed up over her in the bed and held himself up over her. "Get some sleep, I'll get everything set up." He promised her, giving her a soft kiss on the lips before rolling off next to her. He wrapped his arms around her from behind and pulled her back tightly to his chest, his body curving around hers. He didn't touch her sexually, just layed with her, one arm wrapped around her, the fingertips of his other hand trailing along the length of her arm and along her shoulder slowly and softly. He listened to her breathing and felt her heartbeat slow against his chest.

Finally, he knew she was asleep and sighed, knowing that meant he had to make the phone call. He slipped out of the bed, being very careful not to wake her. He left their bedroom and went downstairs to the kitchen, pouring himself a glass of whiskey before heading outside and sitting in one of the patio chairs. He lit himself a cigarette and took a swig of the whiskey. He took out his phone, staring down at it for a long time. "Cody..." He heard Louie's voice from behind him and he sighed and turned around, looking at her standing in the doorway. She looked totally ashamed and he hated seeing what Laney's torture had been doing to her.

"Go to bed Lou." He sighed, taking a sip of his whiskey. "Laney and I will be going away for a while hopefully." He told her, eyes on hers. "If you're smart, you'll disappear while we're gone." He warned her and she looked like she was going to say something to him, but he just shook his head. She nodded and left him alone with his phone again then, and again, he stared at it for what felt like forever.

He didn't even know who he should call. If he called Ty, she would be more likely to say yes because it was for Laney's sake, Jordan would be more likely to turn him down just out of leftover resentment. Still, if he called Tiger, no matter how long it had been, if Jordan was still even remotely upset, it would definitely bother him. He didn't want to get Tiger in trouble she didn't deserve, so, as much as he dreaded calling Jordan up and asking for a favor, it was his old best friend's number he ended up dialing.

Lane couldn’t help but let the pain of catching Cody with Louie build up in here. Had she only found out about it because Louie or Cody slipped and hinted to it, she’d have been able to get over it. Something about catching them in the act kept her from being able to get over it. She wasn’t showing it outwardly other then the fact that she was showing little interest in being intimate with Cody, she knew that this was frustrating him. She knew that for both their sake she should leave and she thought about it when they’d ended up in the airport at Budapest after Cody had gotten a hold of Jordan. It would be easy to slip away from Cody. All she’d have to do was say that she needed to use the bathroom, slip out of sight and he’d never see her again.

She didn’t though, the few chances she’d had to disappear into the blur of crowded airports, she hadn’t. In the past two months since Cody had gotten to Vegas and they’d been together in Budapest she’d become hopelessly dependent on him. She knew it was dangerous, it was why she’d kept everyone in her life at a good distance. Delaney needing someone or something the way she needed Cody and Drugs was detrimental to her mental state, not that her mental state was all that stable to begin with.
Laney’s hair now silver-blonde hair was in a messy bun on top her head. She’d pulled the pink out before her and Cody had left. It was weird seeing her with somewhat normal hair. She’d had pink hair since before she’d left Gary. She wore a pair of black Capri style yoga pants, they fit her slim figure like a second skin highlighting how thin she’d actually gotten over the past couple of months. This however didn’t stop her from wearing a gray lace halter bralette. Her outfit showed off her zombie girl tattoo on her side and her Zelda tattoo peaked up from the waistline of her yoga pants. Her extensive amount of expensive make-up that Cody had bought her hid the tired, sick looking features of her young face. Delaney wasn’t even sure Cody was aware of how sickly she looked, mostly because Lane had always been a little underweight and she almost always had some amount of make-up on even if it was the night before. It didn’t help in the least bit that, Lane was expertly good at hiding her emotions from even her closest confidents.

She’d only gotten worse since she’d caught Cody and Louie together a week ago. She sat in the back seat of the Uber as Cody sat in the front passenger seat, talking to man with a thick Cuban accent. Some poppy Spanish song played over the speaker of the car and Lane already knew she’d like it here, the whole atmosphere was completely different from anywhere she’d ever been. The car pulled up outside of a rundown looking apartment complex directly across the street from the water and like she’d been for the past few days Laney remained quite as they stepped out of the car into the humidity. They collected their bags from the back of the car. Cody thanked the man as they pressed a button calling up to Jordan and Lily, before they were buzzed in.

Delaney was silently thankful her and Cody wouldn’t be left alone for quite a while at least for the few weeks they were going to be there visiting Jordan and Lily. It took everything inside Delaney not to say something sarcastic to Cody about fucking Lily as they waited outside the door for someone to open it after Cody had knocked. From the other side of the door music could be heard, before the door opened up revealing an always arrogant looking Jordan. Only this was a very different version of Jordan from back at the funeral or even from the Jordan she knew in high school. He was shirtless, with sunglasses on, he had a drink in his hand although the smirk on his lips told Delaney he was already several drinks in. The apartment smelled like a mix of weed and Febreze like they’d done their best to cover the smell despite knowing both her and Cody smoked.

“You guys made!” Jordan said like he was hyped, like him and Cody didn’t have a tumultuous past. Jordan reached out to pull Lane into a hug, she was quick to duck under his arms, plucking his drink from his hands, with a wicked smirk on her lips as she dropped her duffel bag. “Your gonna do me like that Dee?” Jordan raised a brow and Laney just shrugged as her as caught Lil on the balcony.

She crossed the room quickly wanting any excuse to get herself away from Cody and having to pretend that she wasn’t thinking about the way he kissed Louie or the way Louie moaned every time Cody touched her. She slipped out onto the balcony taking a drink from the glass she’d stolen from Jordan.

“Hey babes.” She breathed casually as if her and Cody had just been at the grocery store. “Your Husband is a tool.” She said simply, even before Jordan had proposed to Lil back in the day she’d often referred to Jordan as Lil’s husband.

Jordan was only slightly irritated that he was being suspended for the rest of the season. He had plenty of money that he could honestly retire now and life off his money for the rest of his life. However, he didn’t want to go down as the only NFL player to retire at twenty-three because they couldn’t control their temper. On another note though, he knew that this was something he needed to do. He needed to disappear and lay low until thing blew over, then he needed to come back next season stronger. He needed to at some point marry Tiger, that would show his commitment. He needed to get his temper under control, mediate his drug use, and make his career priority. It would be hard as hell, but he knew he could do it. He knew that this time away from the spotlight, with Tigerlily was something they desperately needed and hadn’t gotten.

Tiger pressed her lips against his, pulling him from his thoughts and he kissed her back. He wrapped an arm around her waist pulling her against his chest. "Fuck me on the plane?" She taunted against his lips and he couldn’t help but grin. She slipped away to pack her stuff and he followed suite quickly. Once they were ready, Jordan headed to the door, but Lil stopped him wedging her way between him and the door. "I'm going to try." She breathed and he was grateful for the serious look in her gray blue eyes. Trying was really all he was asking. "I'm not going to promise I won't push your buttons or bend the rules though." She breathed honestly and he nodded knowing that it was inevitable for both of them to agitate each other, but if they could try to be better than that was better than just pushing each other to the limits nonstop.

They’d nearly gotten kicked off the plane when one of the flight attendant caught them fucking in the bathroom. Jordan had managed to sweet talk them out of getting kicked off at the next stop and band from flying. However, they had managed to officially join the mile-high club and neither of them regretted it. Thing only got more passionate between them once they got to Cuban and settled into their new apartment in Havana. Had Jordan known that all they needed was a minuet away from the fucking spotlight to fully reconnect he’d have done it much sooner. They were making love non-stop. It was different from what they’d been doing since they’d hooked up at Shannon’s funeral.

Instead of having the mindset of teenagers, instead of trying to make up for wasted years. They were now tangling their bodies together like adults, they were fucking with a passion that surpassed the connection he’d thought they’d had when they were teens. There was no one here besides them. No exs, no Rome, no career. They were completely on their own to grow and be free and that was what they’d needed. During the day they’d stay in, have house parties for two, make passionate love with a view of the ocean. At night they’d go clubbing, the clubs here were different from the ones back home. The way people touched and danced, was intoxicating and it hadn’t taken long for him and Lily to adapt Havana’s culture of nightlife. In fact, they lived for it. Their new addiction to the clubs and dancing until the early hours of the morning, had somewhat put their drug addiction on the back burner. They didn’t need as much of the drugs to feel fucking incredible. All they needed was the fluid Spanish music, a couple of strong drinks, and their grinding bodies on the dimly lit dance floor.

If Jordan was being honest he could stay here forever with Lil. It was this entire other world, this other way of living that was almost bigger then life itself. Every moment of every day him and Lily were consumed with the simplicity of being together and it was incredible. They’d been in Havana or a week before he’d gotten a phone call from Cody. He was far too high on life to even be remotely concerned about Lil’s past with Cody. Lil had still been asleep when he’d gotten the call that morning from Cody. Even though him and Cody had left on bad terms and hadn’t interacted much in the past five years he could hear the utter desperation and exhaustion in his friend’s voice as if they were in high school all over again. Before Cody had even mentioned Delaney, Jordan knew that she was the reason for the desperation his friend was trying to had.

Jordan had always hated Delaney for this reason alone. Cody was a good guy and Delaney was…well Delaney. She could never make up her mind and Jordan doubted she ever would. He loved her because he’d grown up with her, he hated her because of the strife she put Cody through even now. They’d surprisingly talked for a good couple of hours. They’d exchanged their stories and it was the first real conversation they’d had in years. Jordan hadn’t realized how much he’d missed his best friend.

Finally, Jordan invited Cody to bring Lane and come stay with him and Ty. There place was big enough and subconsciously he knew that was why Cody had called. He was desperate to fix Lane. Although Jordan wasn’t sure anyone could fix Delaney. However, he swore that the magic of Havana had worked wonders on him and Lily. They’d agreed not to tell Tiger, Jordan wanted to surprise her. So, on the night before they’d arrived, Jordan opted that him and Tiger stay in. They’d laughed over Spanish dramas. Jordan had made dinner for Lil, but they’d ended up ordering take out because Jordan couldn’t cook. They’d made love and they’d woke up the next morning in an incredibly good mood.

Cody had texted him when they were outside and he’d buzzed Cody and Lane into the building. The outside of the building was deceiving. Their two bedroom apartment was incredibly beautiful and spacious, with a view of the ocean form the balcony and a view of Havana from the bedrooms. He kissed Lil softly on the lips before telling her that he was going to fill up his drink. He turned the music up a bit louder so that she couldn’t hear when Cody knocked. He opened the door excited to see his friends.
He gave Cody a friendly nod before his eyes fell on Lane. Other then looking a bit on the thinner side, she looked incredibly beautiful and surprisingly well put together. He greeted them moving in to hug Laney, however she dodged it quick stealing his drink before making her way further into the house to find Lil. Delaney was just as cold and capable of pushing you away as he remembered, he wondered how Cody dealt with her. He offered his help to Cody grabbing one of the bags and setting it by the duffle bag Lane had dropped by the door.

“Did you guys have a good trip?” He asked glancing to Cody suggestively, inadvertently asking how him and Delaney were. “You want a drink?” Although he already knew what Cody’s answer would be he gestured for Cody to follow him as he slipped into the kitchen to make him a drink.

The next week of Ty's life was like something out of a dream or a movie. She and Jordan got caught fucking on the plane to Cuba, but Jordan managed to talk them out of trouble and after that, for the next week they were practically glued to each other's sides. It was just the two of them out there in Cuba. No one other then Danny knew where they were, Romeo wasn't around to control her life for Jordan, Danny wasn't around to keep Jordan focused on his career, Clay and their pending divorce couldn't bother her because he didn't know where to find her. It was just the two of them and that was how they spent every single day. Just them.

It was truly incredible, to have every second of Jordans attention and vice versa. He didn't have to share her with other guys because she didn't have time for them, and she didn't have to share him with his career. They were totally wrapped up in each other for the first time since they were teenagers, only this time, it was even better. Their relationship in the past week had certainly reached a high point. She'd never loved him so much in her life, and she put all of her energy into him. Everything she had, was his.

It was like they were finally on the honeymoon they never got to take. They had passionate, intense sex every single day and night, spent time on the beach, wandered the colorful, lively city of Havana in search of new ways and places to enjoy each other, and were active members of the city's vibrant night life. It was like nothing she'd ever experienced before. She'd grown up in Gary, lived in the worst parts of L.A, and had spent the past few months trapped in random hotel rooms for Jordan's career. She'd never even left the states in her life, let alone been dropped into the middle of a whole new culture and she was loving every second of it.

Sure, she wasn't a complete idiot. She knew her and Jordan weren't exactly fixed. They were wrapped up in each other at the moment and it was crazy intense, but at some point the bubble had to pop. She was doing her best to just be happy with what they had at the moment, and she was, but at the same time she knew it couldn't be permanent because nothing good ever was. The clouds had parted momentarily and they were soaking up every second of sun they could, but eventually another storm would roll in. Havana was helping them, but it couldn't change them or save them. Even if Jordan decided to retire and live the rest of their lives together in their little Cuban paradise, their problems would eventually find a way to surface.

Ty just chose not to think about it for the moment. As far as she was concerned, she was happy and she was going to appreciate every last moment of it. Hell, she'd been on such an intense high with Jordan lately, she didn't even need drugs to bring her up, neither of them did. Of course, they still smoked weed like addicts to help curb cravings for stronger shit, and there was the occasional coke splurge, but they didn't need the drugs and they didn't use them to escape or handle each other anymore. They were too busy drinking cocktails, grinding on each other in clubs, and fucking passionately to worry about their next fix.

The night before, Lily had wanted to go out, she'd become addicted to the city's club scene, but Jordan had convinced her to stay in. They'd passed blunts back and forth, Jordan tried to cook but they'd ended up ordering out anyway, and by the time diner was over, Jordan was fucking her in the middle of the apartment, on the kitchen countertop. They'd gone from the kitchen, to the couch, until eventually, he'd worn her out and he carried her to their bed and pulled her close. The last thing she remembered was the beating of his heart before she fell asleep.

Lily woke up the next day in his arms. She woke him up with a little teasing which lead to a quick round of morning sex, after which they spent the rest of the morning in bed together, drinking, smoking, and listening to the stereo, just enjoying each other's company. At some point, Jordan's phone had buzzed, but she hadn't payed it much attention. They were alone, sure, but they still had lives back in the states and certain people still needed to maintain a little bit of contact.

Danny sometimes still had to get ahold of him regarding his team and his career, though it was more like once every other day now and not multiple times a day, so it wasn't intruding on their time together anymore. Plus there was the occasion texts from Jordan's lawyers regarding her divorce. Clay, of course, was being as difficult as possible, dragging things out and even harassing Jordan's men to find out where she was. Still, even her messy divorce or the reminder that Jordan was still an NFL star and they'd have to go back someday, couldn't pop the bubble of happiness she was in that morning. It felt so good, just being with him.

Jordan mentioned he had to get a new drink then and she kissed him deeply before she let him go. She'd become so obsessed and addicted to him over the last week, she honestly found herself missing him even when he was just in the other room. He turned the music up louder as he slipped out and she smirked as she got up. She threw on her new signature bikini top and cutoffs look and went to the stereo, flipping on Drake's album, Take Care before grabbing her drink and her weed and heading out to the balcony. She was already planning all the ways she wanted to spend the day with Jordan as she leaned on the balcony rail and rolled a blunt, enjoying the ocean view. Her mind wandered a little as it always did when Jordan wasn't right next to her, and she forced herself to focus on the music and the weed rather then the voice in her head telling her a storm was coming.

“Hey babes.” Lily heard from behind her breathed so casually, her first instinct was simply to nod like it wasn't a big deal when Laney stepped out beside her. She took a hit off her blunt and raised a brow, looking her friend over and knowing this was Jordan's doing somehow. She glanced through the sliding glass door. Cody was inside with Jordan and a pile of luggage and instantly her heart tightened a little, reminded of their complicated pasts. Jordan, however, seemed totally at ease, which was an honest shock. In his heart, she knew he still wasn't over it, but in that moment, the two of them looked like best friends again. “Your Husband is a tool.” She said simply, referring to Jordan like they were married and Lily just shrugged, her eyes on Cody and Jordan in the apartment for a long minute, her mind trying to decide if what was happening was a good thing or not.

She loved Delaney to death, and was absolutely thrilled to see her, but already the hairs on the back of her neck stood up. Laney didn't exactly look good, and Cody kept glancing in Lane's direction every so often with a mixed look in his eyes. Their relationship was clearly on the fritz, and she had a feeling her honeymoon bubble was about to pop. Not only would their little happy circle of two be extended, but they were going to have Laney and Cody's messy relationship added to their lives.

After Cody and Jordan disappeared into the kitchen Lily turned her eyes on Laney finally and let a smile come to her lips. She was a little nervous, at the sight of them, sure, but she was still happy. It had been too long since she'd been Lane's friend and she could tell that was what Laney needed now more then ever, just by glancing at her. She blew out some smoke before taking Lane's wrist and pulling her into a tight hug. "I've missed you bitch." She said with a grin as she pulled back and handed Lane her blunt like they had only been apart for a day or two and were suddenly close as ever. She picked up her drink and sipped it as she watched the ocean. "How have you been?" She asked, her eyes going back to Lane, taking her in carefully and waiting for her answer. It would be guarded and sugarcoated, of course, but you could always tell more from Laney by watching her then actually listening to her words so Lil just sipped her drink and watched closely.

Cody couldn't lie, he was honestly surprised Jordan had even answered the phone. He knew Jordan was the type to hold a grudge and he was honestly afraid he wouldn't even be able to get a hold of his friend. He would have to call Tiger then, and that, of course, would be a horrible idea. That night Jordan had caught them and the few weeks he'd spent with Ty after he left, felt like a lifetime ago for him, but Jordan still wouldn't like him calling Ty out of nowhere with his issues. That was honestly how it had started the first time.

He'd called her drunk off his ass and talking about killing himself over Laney and his mother, and she'd met him at a party to try and calm him down. He'd gotten her shitfaced and convinced her into sex that she hadn't even really wanted, and things just blew up from there. He still felt like the biggest piece of shit in the world over it and he couldn't even say it was an accident because it had been on purpose. He'd been in pain and had selfishly wanted to ruin his friends' happy relationship. He should have just gotten his shit together and gone looking for Laney. Instead, he'd wallowed in his pain and destroyed the lives of everyone around him.

After what felt like a thousand rings, and Cody replaying the moment when Jordan had caught him with his girl in his head over and over, his friend finally answered. To his surprise, Jordan sounded totally at ease. The last thing he'd seen about him and Ty in the news, the couple had flown off the deep end and gone into rehab. Of course, he knew better. Jordan and Tiger would never willingly admit themselves to rehab so he knew they had taken what was more of a vacation and, from just a few minutes talking to Jordan, Cody could tell it was doing wonders for him. Especially his jealousy and rage. He seemed calm and totally willing to help out.

Cody was relieved to say the least and they ended up talking for a few hours. Jordan told him how dark and ugly things had gotten with Ty right before heading to Havana and Cody did the same, filling his friend in on the bullshit piling up between him and Laney lately. Cody wasn't so sure a vacation to Cuba would fix Laney or their problems, he wasn't sure anything would, but he refused to let her go and he needed to do something. They needed someone in their lives other then Louie and each other or the three of them would rip each other to pieces.

After setting up the trip to Cuba, while Laney slept, Cody went and talked to Louie. He'd given her her debit card and phone back, which Laney had been holding to keep Louie prisoner and told her to buy a first class ticket with the money she'd made while working with him and escape they second him and Lane left the house. Then he'd gone back to bed with Lane and pulled her close. Even though things were ugly between them, they still needed each other in a sickening way and he wouldn't let her go. He was going to do everything in his power to make them happy or die trying.

The thing was, Cody knew how to handle crazy. He knew how to love crazy. Laney pushed him away coldly for the next week and distanced herself in every way possible and it hurt, but he let her have her space as much as he could. He knew, no matter how psycho Laney or their relationship got, he could handle it. If he'd been able to love his mother, even despite the hell her psychosis put him through, he could love Laney and the insanity she tended to be drawn to. Still, he didn't want to watch her fall apart like his mother had. He never wanted to have to stitch her wrists up again. He hoped like hell Jordan was right about Havana.

For a solid week before their flight, Laney had iced him out entirely. She'd gotten pretty cruel with Louie on several occasions to where he'd had to step in, and he was doing everything he could not to lose it on her before they even got to Havana. On the flight, he'd kissed her a few times but her kisses had been cold and distant and he was frustrated as all hell, but he told himself that he had to wait. He'd seriously hurt her fucking Louie and it would take some time to get over it. She hadn't just found Louie's panties in their room or smelled her perfume on him, she'd sat outside the door an tortured herself with the whole thing. If the tables had been turned, Laney might honestly be dead. He was just lucky she was still with him, on that flight and that she hadn't given up and abandoned him.

They finally arrived, and again, Cody was nervous about seeing Jordan again. He was afraid maybe it would be too uncomfortable, living in his and Ty's home with them. They should really just get their own place, but Jordan had insisted and he knew the girls would prefer to stay in the same house. They hadn't seen each other in a long time, but they'd been closer then anyone back when they were teens. Being together again for a while would be good for both of them honestly. It would make both of them happy.

Thankfully, Jordan didn't seem upset in the slightest. In fact, he was practically radiating happiness and relaxation the same way him and Laney radiated misery and stress. They entered the apartment and it was truly beautiful. Lane dodged Jordan and stole his drink to slip out to where Lily was on the balcony and he just watched her go. His eyes landed on Lil briefly. He'd fucked up her life horribly because of what he'd done. She looked incredible now. She was practically glowing out there in the Cuban sunshine and his eyes went back to his friend. They both looked as happy as they had right before he'd stepped in and ruined it for them. Cody was glad. Even as much damage as he'd done, they'd managed to find happiness.

Jordan asked him how he was and offered him a drink. Cody just groaned and followed his friend into the kitchen, watching him as he made the two of them a drink. "The trip was a little stressful." He told Jordan with a shrug. "I love Laney, but things have been... tense lately." He breathed, taking a few sips from his drink. "We needed to get away I guess." He shrugged, glancing at Jordan. "How about you? How have you been?" He asked, his eyes going to Lil briefly before back to him. He didn't have to ask, really. He could see how good Jordan had been recently already and he'd only been there a few minutes.

Lane could practically feel the sudden tenseness that consumed her friend. This was an effect that Laney knew she had on people, it was simple because she could be the life of the party one minuet or be the one getting the cops called on her for starting a fight. It didn’t help that her and Cody together were a ticking time bomb. She’d internalized the pain and anger of catching Louie and Cody together. She was trying her best to push her emotions away, but no matter how hard she tried they were constantly threatening to surface. In the last week, she’d thought about finding Cody’s gun and shooting him. She’d thought about killing Louie. She’d had killed herself had Cody no been keeping such a close eye on her.

Her bandaged wrists throbbed and Louie’s moans played in her head, not even the music could drown her voice out. Her jaw clenched as Lily reached out pulling her into a tight hug, it felt incredible to be touched by someone she knew actually cared about her. Still, her pride didn’t allow her to hug her friend back.

"I've missed you bitch." she breathed, a grin on her lips. Delaney gave her friend a small half smile. She took the blunt that Ty handed her not hesitating as she took a long much needed hit from it. "How have you been?" Her friend asked, not bothering to dance around the question. Everyone always wanted to know how she was.

Lane lend against the wall, her bright blue eyes glancing inside to Cody whose eyes were on Lil for half a second before they moved back to Jordan. She scoffed out a breath of smoke. Her own insecurities planted the seed immediately, that the reason Cody had brought her there was to hook up with Tiger. Deep down she knew that wasn’t true, still that was how her mind worked. She pulled her eyes off of Cody and finished off the rest of the liquor in the glass she’d taken from Jordan before setting it aside. For the first time since she’d walked out on the balcony her eyes found the ocean. It was beautiful, she could only let herself admire it for a moment, before jealousy washed over her. Jordan and Lily were clearly happy here, she suddenly felt uncomfortable, like she was the third wheel. She had an urge to walkover collect her duffle bag and fly back home to Washington.

She wanted Tiger to be happy she deserved it, but she wasn’t sure she could watch her be happy without being horribly jealous.
“I’ve been good.” Lane replied simply taking another hit off the joint and it was scary believable, like she’d mastered the art of lying. Only when her eyes found Lil’s once more, the blues in her eyes were full of unspoken misery. It was a silent scream for help, one that everyone liked to overlooked, because they couldn’t handle Lane. She blew out a heavy breath of smoke. “I’m alive, so.” She said with a simple shrug, like being alive alone was an accomplishment. “I don’t even need to ask you how you’ve been.” Lane said with a smirk. She took another hit from the joint, before passing it back to Lily. “I mean, it was only a matter of time.” She said like she knew Jordan and Tiger were meant to be together, that no matter how many times they fell apart that they’d find their way back to each other.

Lane glanced back inside at the guys as they chatted, but her eyes only found Cody. Despite Jordan’s larger then life, buzzed personality all she saw, all she ever saw was Cody. She wasn’t sure the same could be said for her and Cody. Maybe it was just by simple coincidence that they’d found there way back to each other, but unlike Jordan and Tiger maybe they weren’t meant to find their way back to each other every time. He’d be fine without her, she’d decided in that moment. She let her eyes fall away from him as she glanced back to the ocean.

“You don’t have to have to worry though.” She breathed, her voice low. “I won’t be here long.” She said as if to let Tigerlily know that she knew Lil was nervous about the four of them being together. She wanted Lil to know that if she could help it she wasn’t going to ruin her happiness.

Sure, Jordan wasn’t exactly over Cody and Tiger betraying him. He wasn’t sure he’d ever be. He’d always have this sneaking suspicion. For the time being though he could put his issues aside to help an old friend. It had helped to some extent that him and Cody had talked about it when Cody had called him. Despite it being a touchy subject, Cody had taken full responsibility and apologized. He was grateful for this, it gave him a small piece of min which was more closer then he’d ever had about the situation. Plus, if he was being brutally honesty, he knew the desperation in Cody’s voice. He’d felt that desperation only weeks ago when him and Tiger had been going through their shit.

It didn’t matter how much Cody had hurt him. At the end of the day Cody had been like a brother to him at one point and he wouldn’t even wish that kind of pain and desperation on his worst enemy. He wanted to try and help Cody, although he was almost positive there was nothing he could do other then tell Cody to leave Lane, which he already knew Cody wouldn’t do. Cody had always been hopelessly in love with Delaney, the same way he’d always been hopelessly in love with Tiger.

The only difference was Ty didn’t play coldhearted head games the way Lane did. If Ty played any games it was simply because she was fucked up from her past. She had a reason to be distant and hateful on occasion. As far as Jordan was concerned poor little rich Laney had no reason to be a stone-cold bitch. He could handle fucked up, he was fucked up. He couldn’t however handle pure coldhearted cruelty which seemed to be Lane’s strong point, at least when it came to stringing Cody along.

He watched Cody’s eyes wander to the balcony and the tiniest bit of suspicion burned in the pit of his stomach but he ignored it as he focused hit thoughts on mixing him and Cody strong ass drinks. He raised a brow as Cody groaned. "The trip was a little stressful. I love Laney, but things have been... tense lately." he breathed with a shrug as Jordan sat his drink in front of him and took a drink of his own. He could tell despite how nonchalantly his friend talked about his rocky relationship it was weighing on him. "We needed to get away I guess." he shrugged again and Jordan’s eyes found Laney’s eyes staring at Cody’s back. That was when he saw just how miserable she looked. No amount of make-up could hide what he saw in her eyes. "How about you? How have you been?" Cody asked and Jordan brought his eyes back to his friend.

There were a lot of thing he could tell Cody. The truth was, he was a mess. He was just covering up his messy life with a vacation. Eventually he’d have to go back home and even if him and Tiger could continue to be happy here, the second they landed back in the states all of their shit would surface once more. This honestly scared him. Having a taste of what life could be like with her had him desperate to stay this way for as long as possible. He’d told Cody on the phone that he’d been suspended but he hadn’t gone into too much detail. He wasn’t sure how Cody would perceive him if he told him the whole truth. That he’d practically kept Tiger prisoner, that he was a drug addict, or that he had a terrible temper that had nearly cost him his career and had him thrown in prison.

He sighed as he took another long drink from his strong mixed drink. He didn’t really have much to lose if he told Cody. “Honestly, I’m good. Right now.” He said ‘right now’ as if to let Cody know that things weren’t going to be good forever. He was letting Cody know that the happiness he saw between him and Tiger on the surface was only temporary. “Just trying to enjoy things right now.” He breathed honestly taking another long drink. “But, listen” he started the tone of his voice shifting from sad realization to a hopefulness that was unusual for Jordan. “We just need…you” He breathed pointedly. “Just need to live now.” His eyes glanced to the girls on the balcony before back to his friend. “Don’t let her…” he trailed off. “Don’t let her do this to you man.” He breathed, his voice dropping to a lower tone, although it was doubtful if he was talking normal that the girls could hear him over the music. “We’re going to go out tonight and you’re going to have a good fucking time, whether she want’s to or not.” Jordan shrugged as if he knew, that whatever the reason for the wedge in their relationship, it was Lane’s fault.

“When she sees you having a good time, she won’t have a choice.” Jordan breathed with a wicked smirk on his lips like convincing Delaney to lighten up would be that easy, when in reality Jordan honestly just wanted Cody to have a good time and as horrible as it sounded to keep his options open. Jordan wasn’t looking, but he couldn’t help but notice that Havana was home to some beautiful women, some of which he knew could make his former best friend happier then Delaney ever would.

]Lily was observant when it came to Delaney because she knew she had to be. Whatever was going to come out of Laney's mouth wouldn't be the truth, her body language would be. She caught the scoff and the jealousy that seemed to be building in her friend the second Cody looked in her direction and she couldn't help but bite her lip. She wished she knew how to apologize for what her and Cody had done after she'd left, but she didn't. The first time, Cody had definitely taken advantage of her, but after Jordan had left, she'd gone back to Cody for a good few weeks until he left too. She was just as much to blame for what had happened as Cody, even if it didn't start out that way.

“I’ve been good.” Lane said then, and the words themselves came out sounding truthful, but Lily knew she was lying. She was taking deep hits of the joint like she needed it, her shoulders were tense, her wrists were clearly bandaged, and her eyes were so full of misery it actually pained her to watch. She hoped like hell Havana would do for Cody and Laney what it had done for her and Jordan. “I’m alive, so.” She said with a simple shrug, like like that comment wasn't even the least bit dark. Lily sighed and took a drink from her glass. She understood the frustration Lane was feeling. She knew what it was like to be a walking tornado, destroying everything in your path, even your own life.

At the moment, her and Jordan were happy because their whole lives revolved around each other and nothing else. However, she knew it was a fragile happiness. Jordan hadn't flipped out on her in the last week because she hadn't given him a reason to yet, and she hadn't hurt him yet because she was too busy being excited by Havana and the change of scenery. It was only a matter of time before she went back to cheating or he got them hooked on hard drugs again. His temper would return in full force and so would her bitchy side.

“I don’t even need to ask you how you’ve been.” Lane said with a smirk, handing the joint back and Lily just smiled slightly. She could hear the tinge of jealousy in her friend's voice at her happiness. “I mean, it was only a matter of time.” She said like her and Jordan we're fated soulmates and she only winced as she brought the blunt to her lips. That made it sound like her and Jordan were a fairytale, like they'd finally gotten their moment to ride off into the sunset and from here on out it was happily ever after. They definitely loved each other, and it had pulled them back together, but she didn't believe in destiny or fate. She'd been through too much bullshit to believe that her and Jordan were together because it had been written in the stars.

“You don’t have to have to worry though.” She breathed, her voice lower and Lil breathed out a cloud of smoke and looked back at Laney. “I won’t be here long.” She said like she was trying to reassure her and Lily winced again, hating that Lane thought she was going to be such a problem. Sure, it was going to disrupt the honeymoon stage she'd been in with Jordan for the last week, but at the same time, she had missed Laney like hell and would sell her soul to make her happy. She was glad she was there, even if the circumstances were a little off.

"Don't say that, you can stay as long as you want." She breathed casually. The last thing she wanted Laney to feel like was that she was bothering her and Jordan, or causing problems. Even if she did end up causing problems, it wouldn't be anything that hadn't already been coming to them anyway. "It might look like sunshine and rainbows, but there's a storm coming for me and Jordan whether you're here or not, and honestly, it'll be nice to have a friend here when it finally hits." She shrugged casually as she flicked the blunt off the balcony and downed the rest of her drink.

"I'll have your back if you have mine." She said with a smirk, letting her friend know, that no matter what happened, she'd always be in her corner. "Come on, we're going to go shopping." She said with a smile, wanting to take her friend away from Cody for a bit and give her something enjoyable to do. Hopefully being out on the streets of Havana in the sunshine would lighten her up a little and the space from Cody would do her a little good. "We're gonna hit some shops!" Lily shouted to Jordan as she grabbed his car keys on the way out of the house. It was a little odd, because she hadn't left Jordan's side in a full week, but clearly, her friend just needed some girl time and honestly, so did she.

The two of them spent the rest of the afternoon running around Havana. Lily took Laney to all her favorite stores and a even a couple restaurants for lunch and diner. They were able to catch up, and despite the misery that was clear in Delaney the second they'd arrived, Lily had been able to catch a few genuine smiles on her friend's lips throughout the day. At one point, while they were shopping, she'd thought she'd seen Clay and had dropped and broken what she was holding, but the second she'd seen him he was gone. She was shaken for a few minutes, but she reminded herself it wasn't possible and went back to enjoying her time with Laney, being a little more observant now. At the end of diner, she got a text from Jordan telling her to come home because they were going to go out.

Honestly, she was debating whether or not to obey. She kind of wanted to take Laney out by herself, so her friend could let her hair down without Cody around. Still, she knew if she didn't come home and go out with Jordan, he'd be pissed and she didn't want to start something on Lane and Cody's first day there. She wanted to keep the animal in it's cage for as long as possible because she really didn't want Lane or Cody seeing the ugly side of her relationship with Jordan if she could help it.

She convinced Laney to go out with them and they went back home to get ready. She did her best to allow as much distance as she could between her friend and Cody, offering to even do their hair and make up together like teenagers, so they didn't have to deal with the guys for just a little longer. Finally, Lily was ready to go in a simple, but sexy red dress that left most of her heavily tattooed body exposed. The guys were out in the living room having a smoke when they were dinally ready and she pulled Jordan to his feet, planting a kiss on his lips. "Let's go, papi." She breathed, teasingly biting his lip, a smirk coming to her lips against his, knowing what happened every time they went out and craving it like she once craved drugs. There was nothing quite like grinding all over Jordan in a Cuban club until she was sweaty and so turned on she couldn't take it anymore and dragged him off the dancefloor.

Jordan sighed deeply in a way that made Cody think things weren't as relaxed in his life as it seemed. “Honestly, I’m good. Right now.” He said and Cody sighed, knowing exactly what that meant. Him and Ty were in a bubble of happiness at the moment, but both of them were honestly just waiting for it to pop. “Just trying to enjoy things right now.” He breathed and Cody did the same as Jordan, taking a long, much needed drink. He sighed, as he lowered the drink again, hoping like hell that whatever unhappiness hit Jordan and Ty this time, it wasn't his doing. The last thing he wanted was to wreck their lives again, but he had a bit of an appetite for destruction.

“But, listen” Jordan went on, tone shifting to a more hopeful pitch and he glanced at him. Any hope he could get at the moment, he needed. “We just need…you... Just need to live now.” He said and Cody raised a brow. “Don’t let her… Don’t let her do this to you man.” He breathed quietly and she sighed deeply at that. Jordan liked Laney as an old friend, but he'd never been fond of her as Cody's lover. Jordan had tried to push other girls on him when they were teens, and talk him out of what he was feeling for Laney because she was notorious for playing games with him, but it had never really worked. No matter how hard Jordan tried, Cody had only ever had feelings for Lane.

“We’re going to go out tonight and you’re going to have a good fucking time, whether she want’s to or not.” Jordan shrugged then like whatever was going on between him and Lane was Lane's fault and Cody winced. That wasn't entirely true. Lane had a tendency to go a little psycho and even played fucked up head games with him sometimes, but their problems weren't all on her. Afterall, he was usually the one making her go nuts. He'd been the one fucking Louie in their bed while she sat outside and listened.

“When she sees you having a good time, she won’t have a choice.” Jordan breathed with a wicked smirk like it was just that easy and Cody just laughed at that. It wasn't going to be anywhere near that easy. In fact, he honestly wasn't sure it was a good idea at all. He wasn't sure Laney would stick by him if she did go out with him, and going out without her would only leave her at home wondering if he was fucking someone else again. It might cause more problems then it would solve, but at the same time, if he could get Laney to just relax for a bit and maybe forget about his mistake with Louie for even a minute, it would be worth it.

He was going to speak when he heard Lily shout something about shopping. It was obvious that both himself and Jordan were a little tense at the thought of the girls going out without them. He didn't want Laney to slip away in the crowd and disappear, and Jordan probably hadn't been away from Lil for more than a few moments since they'd been in Cuba. Still, they couldn't exactly say no without causing problems so Cody just swallowed back his instinct to follow Laney, knowing they probably needed a little space anyway and the girls would want to catch up.

He was alone with Jordan for the rest of the day and honestly, it was a pretty decent day. They did a lot of drinking, and at some point, Cody whipped out the coke. Jordan seemed a little reluctant, which was surprising and odd, but he didn't say anything, just did it anyway so Cody didn't ask questions. They ordered some food and even played a few games on Jordan's game system like they were teenagers again, just chilling and getting shitfaced at his house or Jordan's. It was so simple, it was honestly the first time he was really relaxed in weeks.

They left the apartment at diner and Jordan showed Cody a little of the city before they ended up in a pretty laid back bar, enjoying some beers and watching Cuban sports on the big screen. By the time they got back, Cody was honestly already starting to feel a little better and he hoped that Laney's time out with Ty had done the same for her. When the girls got back, his first instinct was to close in on Lane, but Tiger got in the way and whisked her off to get ready for their night out, making him roll his eyes.

He drank a few more beers with Jordan on the couch while they waited for the girls before the two of them finally came out looking fucking incredible. He smirked when he saw Laney. They hadn't really gone out together and enjoyed the experience in a long time. They would go to clubs in Budapest and she would slip away from him for only a minute and a guy would approach her or a girl would approach him and before they knew it, they were being thrown out of the club and having a full blown fight back at their place. He hoped tonight wasn't like that.

Ty went to Jordan instantly, and he couldn't help but be a little jealous at how connected they seemed. Laney was still a little distant, even as he wrapped his arm around her and pulled her in close for a small kiss on the forehead. Still, her day out with Tiger seemed to have done her a little good because she was actually letting him touch her. He had hardly even kissed her in a good week and it had been driving him wild. It felt so good just to have his arm around her. "You look great." He breathed with a smirk, his grip on her tightening only slightly as he kissed her cheek, almost like he was afraid to kiss her lips. He didn't want to kiss her and have her reject him coldly like she had been for the past week in front of Ty and Lily. "Let's just try to have fun tonight babe." Cody whispered in her ear, quiet enough that Lily and Jordan couldn't hear.
