Personality

She seems very upbeat and mild. That has been the only way she has survived through her hardships with the beast tribe she has lived with all her life. This personality is only a front that protects her against her tribemates violence and love of combat. In reality, she is as fiery and combative as any of the other beasts in the tribe. The only reason she does show it is because she doesn't want to have to fight with the tribe because she thinks that their brute strength is everything, and therefore that she would lose.

History

Kiva was an odd bird, even from her birth. She was born into a tribe of mostly land beast humans. As a bird beast, she was looked down on by those around her and taught that brute strength solved everything. And since she was physically weak when she was young, she was in the lowest wrung of society. As a sign of shame after trying to prove that she wasn't weak, she was force to wear what they call a "collar," the ultimate sign of lowliness in their culture. From then on, she has found ways to get stronger without anyone noticing a thing, and also dreamed up ways to leave her world and go into the "Great Darkness." (aka space) She has been shuffled from one "owner" to another as a servant for the ten years after her loss. At sixteen now, she more than ever wants to prove her strength, gain back her freedom and honor, and then leave to explore the Great Darkness.
