Introduction

The Rules

1. Have fun is the first and for most rule.
2. As always please don't god mode, no buddy likes a sore loser.
3. Please stick to the lores and legends of Hyrule keep it within the Era.
4. The Era itself is directly after Twilight Princess after Link returns to Ordon Forest.
5. There's no Vampires, Werewolves, Demons, or Angels. Please keep it to the races of Hyrulian law.
6. Nobody plays Link.. it is as though he doesn't even exist although everyone knows who he is and what he's done.
7. There are many races within the Zelda world go ahead and choose one.
8. These are the rules some maybe added as it all go on.

I would have put these in the rule section but it simply would not fit so I put them here.

"The years have not been kind a to the people outside this realm of darkness merely a few minutes have past since the Sword of Evil's Bane pierced my chest locking me away in this Nightmarish hell. The Lineage of the boy in the Green Tunic has left me with fear that my life will not be returned to Hyrule. So here I dwell deep in the anguish of the Shadows, here I wait for the time of Heroes to end. Here I sulk waiting for my chance to feel the moonlight on my back as I race through the country side doing my evils bid. The day will come when the one doning the green tunic will not answer you calls and that time grows near so near I can taste it and breathe it in. By the time you foolish Hyrulians read this message I will have returned to my body not physically but spiritually and it will only be a matter of time before my laughter makes your hearts skip a beat. And my shadow darkens your Kingdom halls, yes only a matter of time. Enjoy your peace Hyrule for it is only short lived".

Image

The message was sent to the King tied to the leg of a Giant Black crow.. From the way the soldiers glance back and forth maddeningly the Hyrulian people already know that their much needed time of Peace is not going to last. The King himself rides out alone though his ever watchful guards monitor the skies with their Eagles. King Hyrule is on his way to the Forest of Ordon, on his way to call once again for the boy in the Green Tunic the one they call Link. The descendant of the Hero of Heroes. The Hero that saved the land from the Pig Demon Ganon in the beginning bringing light back to the world from a Dark Future, a Link in the past. The Hero orphaned by a proud Hyrulian mother to a Forest diety who grew up to beat back once again the ties that Ganondorf held over the world. Yes the hero of many legends hence past. The King wore a bead of sweat as he stopped his breathless steed standing outside the Mayor of Ordon's home. The Mayor stood on his porch his eyes cast at the ground and a note clutched in his grasp.

"I have set you all free of the Tyranny of Ganondorf now I must set out upon my own quest one that I believe will show me the secrets of my lineage, I am not a man of many words so I will keep this short and sweet I leave behind my sword and shield so that you may know for sure I will return. This journey was set in stone the day I plunged the blade of Heroe's into the Dark Swine's chest so allow this good bye to be short, far well good friends far well if ever you should need me. Remember that theres a Hero inside of everyone. Link....

Image

The King's brow furrowed as he read the note he stared at the Mayor not truly looking at him but past him and then he realized what they must do they must seek help from the Twilight people. It took nearly fifteen years to gather up all the pieces that were destroyed when Midna broke the mirror. But finally its been done the King old and tired has worked day in and day out becoming almost a commoner among his own people finding the broken shards that scattered all through out the Glorious land of Hyrule. The King has grown weary and ill and his time is nearly come to an end, Princess Zelda has already taken up commisson and became the Queen she was supposed. The King requested to be the one to put the final piece to the Mirror. After its placement he died the link was complete the Twilight people had agreed to join them. Now the time to join together has come.. For all the free peoples of Earth, Mountain, Desert, Sky, Sea, and Twilight to band together and try to bring about true peace. Most feel as though the Hero has abandoned them and the Triforce no long shimmers as brightly. But Hope is hard to find when no one shows faith in the Unnamed Heroes.

The Land of Hyrule
Image

Basics of the Rp.
The time is basically set in a depression like Era their Hero of Heroes has left and everyone feels basically abandoned. The Heroes can be boy or girl and must be in the range of 13 to 17. Every Hero has the ability to transform into a sacred beast, no wolves though because the form has already been taken. When in the Twilight realm you may not transform back into a human unless you have more then twenty five posts. The more posts you have the more of a Legend you are. You can be a swordsman, archer, mage, fighter, or beast master. I know that these are usual things but their are many kinds of Heroes in the land of Hyrule not everybody was a way awesome swordsman. The Rp will take place within central Hyrule you can go other places but they will not be available for some time because this will take me a lot of time to set up. To make it easy the Princess has called for every young person within the age range to come to Hyrule to be tested as to whether they are worthy to become Heroes. And Such. I could change it up to make it easier as the rp goes on.

Races of Hyrule
Many races have existed throughout the history of the Zelda series, in different lands and with different motives. Here is an overview of all races found in the Zelda series. Note that not all races have existed at the same time.

Anouki – The Anouki make their first appearance in Phantom Hourglass, and can be found on the Isle of Frost in the Land of the Ocean King, and in the Snow Realm in New Hyrule. On the Isle of Frost, they share the land with their hated enemies, the Yooks. A peace agreement gave them the western side of the island. After a peace treaty, the Anouki received the Western side of the island. They return in Spirit Tracks where they are found in the New Hyrule. They inhabit houses in a village slightly south of the Snow Sanctuary, known as the Anouki Village. They are a picky race, with a lot of prejudice running through them, though they are quite welcoming to strangers (like Link). They wear heavy clothing to keep out the cold, and have antlers growing on the tops of their heads.

Fairy – Fairies are found throughout all Zelda games. They help Link through his quest. Whether it be as healers, companions, or magic-givers, fairies are always there for our Hylian hero. Some notable fairies are Navi, Tatl, Tael, and the spirits of Power, Courage, and Wisdom.

Great Fairies- Great Fairies are the leaders of the fairies, and considerable larger than normal fairies. Though humanoid, they have changed form many times in the course of the series, differing from women clad only in ivy, to multi-armed, blue skinned creatures with no feet. But whatever form they take, Great Fairies are always on your side, and will help Link on his quest whenever he needs them to.

Gerudo – The Gerudo are a race of female warriors, and made their first appearance in Ocarina of Time, where they lived in Gerudo Valley. Whether they are inhabiting a large fortress at the entrance to the desert, or manning a base in Great Bay, they are always cast in the roles as thieves and outlaws. One Gerudo male is born every 100 years, and is designated by their law to be their king. The most recent male was the king of Evil himself, Ganondorf. In Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask, Gerudo had been known to venture into Castle/Clock Town in search of boyfriends. They have round ears, which leads people to believe that they are Humans.

Goron – The Gorons have existed in Hyrule for many years. They are a race of rock-eating humanoids with stone growing out of their back, brown skin, and a tendency to curl up when frightened. This ability to curl also acts as a speedy means of transportation, and an attack method. Gorons are one of the three races Link can become in Majora’s Mask, where becoming a Goron gives him the ability to roll, punch and slam into the ground with his heavy body. The Gorons are few in numbers by the time of the Minish Cap, and by Wind Waker, they are gone (though they reappear in Spirit Tracks).

Hylian – The most well known of the races in Hyrule, the Hylians inhabit multiple settlements around Hyrule such as Castle Town, Lon Lon Ranch, Kakariko Village (Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess) and other assorted places. In later games, they are seen as a mythical race with deep connections to the Goddesses. Link and Zelda are both Hylian in all games, though they are not always referred to as such. Hylians have pointy ears, and can use magic.

Kokiri – The Kokiri are a race of perpetual children who reside in the Kokiri Forest, under the care of the Great Deku Tree. They play a major role in the game Ocarina of Time, as the Kokiri are the ones who raise Link. They all are accompanied by a fairy guardian. A Kokiri appears in The Wind Waker as a ghost, and the Korok are the Kokiri transformed after the Great Flood occurred.

Korok – The Korok are a race of little tree people who have the ability to fly using leaves. Found in Forest Haven, they leave their home once a year to go plant Deku Sprouts all over the islands of Hyrule. They, like the Kokiri, are under the care of the Great Deku Tree, Most likely the Deku Sprout from the later part of Ocarina of Time. They used to be the Kokiri, but between Ocarina of Time and The Wind Waker, their bodies became wooden. Makar, a Korok, is the Sage of Wind.

Lokomo – The Lokomo are an ancient race that reside in New Hyrule. They guard the Spirit Tracks, and all have names referring to trains (i.e. Anjean, Steem). Each Lokomo has a Sacred Instrument which, when played with the Spirit Flute makes a portion of the Spirit Tracks reappear. They predate the Hylians in New Hyrule.

Minish (Picori) – The Minish are a race of very small forest dwellers, known for the creation of the Picori Blade. They are honored annually through the Picori Festival in Hyrule. Outside of their own species, they are known as Picori. They live everywhere, from the forest, to the town, to the mountains. They are the ones that place the items in pots and under rocks which Link finds in his adventures. They delight in making Humans happy, and bestow many gifts upon them. Their first gift was the Picori blade, and the second was the light force. Vaati the wind mage was once a Minish.

Oocca – The Oocca are a bird-like people who live in the City in the Sky. They are an old race, with rich history and culture. Some are able to speak Hylian, but their own language is incredibly harsh, as it is mostly squawking. According to some, the Oocca are the race most similar to the gods. They have only appeared in Twilight Princess so far.

Rito – The Rito are a tribe of birdmen who inhabit Dragon Roost Island in The Wind Waker. They often serve in the role of Mailmen due to their ability to fly. However they are a tribe in their own right. Rito hold flying races on an island to the east of Dragon Roost Island. They hold the dragon Valoo as their benefactor, and being trained as his translator is a huge honour among them. Many believe the Rito to be descendents of the Zora. Medli, a Rito girl, and the translator for Valoo, is the Sage of Earth.

Sheikah – The Sheikah are a people of shadow, who are known to protect the Royal Family of Hyrule. Kakariko Village is said to have been founded by the Sheikah, and in Ocarina of Time there is a graveyard of Sheikah in Kakariko. The only known Sheikah is Impa, Princess Zelda’s guardian, who was first introduced in Adventure of Link, appearing again in Ocarina of Time. Impa is the leader of Kakariko Village, further strengthening the theory of Kakariko’s founding. In Ocarina of Time, Zelda posed as Sheik, a Sheikah male. However, as Sheik is simply Princess Zelda in disguise, he is not a true Sheikah.

Subrosian – Subrosians are a cloaked race who inhabit the world of Subrosia. Not much is known about this secretive race.

Tokay – The Tokay are a race of green, lizard-like creatures introduced in Oracle of Ages. They live off the coast of Labrynna, in caves on an island called Crescent Island. They are a bipedal race with a bartering economy. Their intelligence is questionable, though it may just be that they live exceedingly simple lives compared to Hylians and other “advanced” races of Hyrule.

Twili – The Twili are the ones who inhabit the Twilight Realm, and for the most part, they all turned into monsters under Zant’s rule. The only Twili who have not become monsters are Midna and Zant. Originally they inhabited Hyrule, but eventually were driven into the Twilight Realm after they tried to establish dominion over the Sacred Realm using the dark Fused Shadows. Twili cannot exist in the world of light, as light and shadow cannot mix.

Zora – The Zora originally, in the Legend of Zelda, Adventure of Link, and A Link to the Past, were malign baddies (called “River Zora” now). However, in Ocarina of Time, they took on a more benign role. They reside in Zora’s Domain and are ruled over by King Zora. They are often an integral part of Link’s adventures through Hyrule. They are fish-people with fins and gills, though they are humanoid. They are one of the three races Link can turn in to in Majoras Mask. When Link is a Zora, he is able to swim faster, use a force field while underwater, walk underwater and use his fins as boomerangs. The Zora reappear in Twilight Princess, where they are once again facing turmoil when their queen Rutela has been executed, and their prince Ralis has gone missing.

Zuna – The Zuna are a friendly, tribal race introduced in Four Swords Adventures. They have characteristic green skin, wearing turbans and long, flowing robes. They live in huts in the desert. They have a gambling shop in their settlement.

Yook – The Yooks are large, yeti-like creatures who inhabit the Isle of Frost in Phantom Hourglass. Due to a peace agreement with the Anouki, they occupy the eastern half of the island. Their weapon of choice is the club. After beating the Temple of Ice, the Yook become much friendlier to Link.

Re: [OOC] Hyrule: The untold Story

Yeah because Return to Twilight was an rp I had already been working on.. I was just bored when I started the Untold Story.. and I didn't have much really to base it on so I took Return to Twilight and used its basis that link goes off to basically find himself and that slowly and surely Ganon is gaining power again because the people of Hyrule have lost their faith in the Triforce because of the Heroe's departure. And your right I do have the wrong link because I changed it within the 24 hour grace period.. My apologies I'll post the correct link. And welcome everyone to join. And sorry I forgot about the stalfos.. Abilities: Talk with the dead, Creepy.. thats all I got it will take some tiem for me to figure it out.

Re: [OOC] Hyrule: The untold Story

I think the host has the wrong link it should be Hyrule: return to twilight

I'm considering joining this, probably with a Gerudo, I just need to put some thought into the character.
