An experienced FBI agent who was recruited in by the UPA

Bram- Er, Edward, as he prefers to be called, is somewhat of a cynic. Oh, wait, that doesn't quite do it justice. If you say the sky is blue, he would say, "Well, how can you be sure?" While he doesn't usually carry this over to everyday life (not to mention this was a bit of an exaggeration), this trait does strongly show itself in all his detective work and in every job he has done. This trait is also what made him so good as a detective and as an Navy SEAL before that; always doubting the projected future and preparing for the worst. Along side being a cynic, Ed is also sarcastic and usually very dry. While he might not seem like a very likable person, the fact of the matter is that he is quite well liked among his colleagues and partners for his quick thinking, superb skill, and his die hard loyalty to his comrades.
Does he have ESP powers? Well, supposedly he does, but no one I asked could tell. They all said they had sworn to him to keep their mouths shut.
His department of origin? The Federal Bureau of Investigations, otherwise know as the FBI. And before that it was the Department of the Navy.
Bram Edward Stoker- known as Ed to his friends- was born on the wintry day of Jan. 1st, 1969. He was named in honor of his father's favorite author, Bram Stoker, the writer of the original story of Count Dracula. Ed, however, hated the name Bram as much as he did the book, and refused to go by Bram with his friends. He was a very rebellious youth, running off to join the Navy at a young age in hopes of getting stationed on a ship somewhere far away from shoreline Connecticut. It was only shortly after joining the Navy that he realized that he liked it, and that was when he truly started to find his calling. While he had been, put nicely, a laid back student (lazy if you want to be blunt), he started find that his poor grades didn't make him stupid. Once out of the navy, he went straight back into it, attending university at the Annapolis Naval Academy to become an officer. He became more than just an officer; he was recruited to become a SEAL.
As a Navy man through and through, joining the SEALs was a bit of a dream. Even though it was easily one of the most dangerous jobs on the face of the earth, he was really excited and content. He was even raised to become part of SEAL Team Six, the rough Naval equivalent of the Army's Delta Force. After a good few years, he was honorably discharged with the rank of Admiral, an incredible achievement to be sure, especially for a former goof off and delinquent. And it was in the afterglow of his military duties that he found a new job; detective for the Federal Bureau of Investigations, the FBI.
Being a detective suited him just as well as being a SEAL had. He had a knack for finding evidence and composing theories. In time he grew to have a very good knowledge of how the criminals thought, something that was not too different from what he had needed to learn to be in Team Six. Another thing that made him so successful was his proficiency with firearms; after all, as a former military man, what weapon could the FBI use that he couldn't figure out in a few minutes. For around twelve years he worked for solely the FBI before another member of the alphabet soup picked him out; the UNPA.
While he is still an FBI agent, his current task is to work as a member of the United Nations Prevention Agency, or the UNPA (also called just the United Prevention Agency, or the UPA). His task now is the locate the Child of the Dark and make sure to prevent the end of the world. Because Ed feels that there is still plenty of life left to live.
Other Facts: He is currently 41 years old.
He is a heavy smoker, and always has at least one pack on him.
He also is fond of alcohol (on special occasions, mostly), and is especially a fan of Lagers.
Additionaly, he is a huge fan of classic liturature, and will often quote people like Shakespeare, Hawthorne, Poe, and others.
