In the story books the story makes you want to jump in. The knight is always hot, the horse is always white, and the story always ends happily. What is there not to love? Ruby is a lover of fairy tales. She wants to escape from her boring normal life. A princess trapped in the stories of happily ever after finds a way out and is eager to have the life Ruby doesn't care for. So she gets a chance to live the perfect life of a princess from her very own fairy god mother. Little does she know the fairy tales have edited out a lot of behind the scenes events. The prince isn't all that charming, the horse has emotional issues, the help is stealing from the castle, the towns people hate her, and her in-laws aren't all that welcoming. Not to mention the much needed evil villain that doesn't liker her too. Can she survive the dangerously, daringly, demonic world of A Land Far Far Away.

And what about miss Diamond. That is her name now. She has been inside the covers of a book for so long her old name is now just an ink smudge on one of the pages. She now lives the very boring, very common life of an average teen. Can she adapt to the times, will she rule her school or become another peasant at the feet of the schools popular kids. Life is like a red apple, don't bite off more than you can chew.
