"Just tired." Brynn answered, she stood up slowly putting a hand on her back. "I'm going to go to bed." Brynn kissed Freddie and kissed Benjamin on the head before heading up the stairs.
When night fell, Brynn heard the doorbell ring and went downstairs where Freddie had already answered the door, Brynn could see the flashing lights of the police car and her stomach twisted, she walked down joining Freddie at the door.
"Are you Brynn, Brynn MaNorro?" The officer asked. Brynn nodded slightly. "Yes, is there something wrong?" The officer took a breath and asked if he could come in, Brynn let him in. "Ma'am, I think you should sit down." Brynn sat on the stairs taking Freddie's hand when he came over to her.
"You sister and her husband have been in a serious car accident. You sister is in critical and life threatening condition. Her Husband is in the same state but they believe they can stabilize him." Brynn took in a sharp breath tears filling her eyes, she let go of Freddie's hand clasping her hand together on her lap taking in slow breaths. "I am here to take you and your husband to the Hospital." Brynn nodded. "Just, let me get my son." Brynn said softly walking back up the stairs to get Benjamin.

Freddie couldn't believe what he was hearing, and sighed as he watched Brynn leave to get Benjamin. "Bri, honey, just get the keys, alright? I'll get the boy." He said as he put a hand on her back, and squeezed past, to get to Bennie's room. "Hey sport, c'mon." He grabbed the boy still in his pajamas, and the half-asleep boy just molded to his father, and Freddie followed the officer to the hospital. "It'll all be okay." He said as he drove, holding Bri's hand.
Once there, they were taken to a room, one of the larger rooms for two patients. The bed farther away had Dylan, and the one closer held Izzy. "They got burnt pretty badly." A doctor piped up walking in. "We may have to amputate his leg, but the female is just burnt to a degree where she should heal, with a little scarring. " Freddie nodded, and continued to as they began to talk as doctors, Bennie asleep in his father's arms.
Once there, they were taken to a room, one of the larger rooms for two patients. The bed farther away had Dylan, and the one closer held Izzy. "They got burnt pretty badly." A doctor piped up walking in. "We may have to amputate his leg, but the female is just burnt to a degree where she should heal, with a little scarring. " Freddie nodded, and continued to as they began to talk as doctors, Bennie asleep in his father's arms.
"The girl also had a serious brain injury." Another doctor walked in going over to Isabelle shinning a light in both of her eyes. "As of right now, she isn't breathing on her own. We are unsure of her brain function, and it is unknown when she will wake up, if she will wake up." Brynn moved away from Freddie and the two Doctors and stood like a statue in the doorway of the room, she kept her eyes on Isabelle watching her chest rise and fall but feeling sick as she knew if she wasn't hooked up to all the machines her chest wouldn't be rising and falling at all.
"What are the chances she will wake up?" Brynn asked breaking her silence, the neurosurgeon looked at her like she was a kicked puppy. "We really are not sure." Brynn walked further into the room. "Please, I know how this works, my Husband is a Doctor and I have seen him do this before. You will tell me nothing until you walk in here with the papers that say Do not resuscitate on them also known as DNR papers, and then you will pull out the papers that will allow you to take her off of life support that I will have to decide whether I want to sign or not because I am her next of kin."
Brynn's eyes narrowed. "So please, do me a favor and tell me now so I can have time to decide if I want to kill my sister or not because I know that is what you will ask me to decide in six hours." The Doctor sighed. "If your sister wakes up, she could suffer from a temporary of permanent loss of memory, how far back it will go we do not know. Her brain is swollen, and if the swelling doesn't cease she will not be able to be taken off of life Support." Brynn took a shaky breath. "Excuse me." she whispered leaving the room, she pressed her back to the wall sliding down onto the floor sobbing, tears streaming down her face she put her head in her hands and just cried on the floor.

Freddie sighed as she walked out, and nodded to the doctors who also left. He set the boy in the recliner in the corner for overnight guests, and sighed as he found her a few minutes later. "Brynn?" He asked carefully, and ran a hand through her hair, pushing it out of her face. "Come back in with me." He said, and held out his hands, hoping she'd accept.
Brynn took his hands but didn't move forward, she just rested her head on his shoulder sniffling. "Freddie, my sister. My little sister, is lying in a hospital bed dying." She took in a shaky breath. "My little Izzy, who is full of life, and who never had a care in the world is laying in a hospital bed dying, and they are going to walk in there with those papers and ask me to sign her life away in six hours, and I'll have to do it because my Isabelle, wouldn't want to be laying in a bed hooked up to a machine the rest of her life." Brynn gripped his shirt tightly in her hand burying her head in the crook of his neck. "I can't watch my little sister die."
Freddie's eyes watered as he listened to his wife's pleas. "I know.." Was all he managed. After letting her cry on him, he got up slowly, and went back into the room where Izzy and Dylan lie. After about an hour or so of looking over them, Dylan woke up, and Freddie rushed to him. "Please.. just.. save her. I don't want to live if it's without her." He coughed, and Freddie shook his head, as Dylan closed his eyes to rest.
Freddie called the doctors back and they had a long, long talk about the condition of Izzy. After a test, they found out that her brain was reducing in swelling, and her lungs were badly damaged, partly the reason she needed so much tubing. However, Dylan's lungs weren't harmed surprisingly. And in an attempt to save his wife's life, Dylan signed away his lungs, fully aware of his sacrifice. He couldn't even cry from dehydration and he simply had a stone cold look on his half burnt face, wheeled down the hall to never be seen again.
They took Izzy into surgery to do maintenance on her brain, as well implant the lungs, which the body accepted normally. Freddie told his wife what Dylan did, as tears left his eyes. "Isabelle may live because of Dylan." He explained everything the doctors had told him.

"You couldn't watch me die, so you convinced him to die for me, didn't you? Your selfish Brynn! This is all your fault! He would still be here if it wasn't for you, we wouldn't have even been at the gas station if we hadn't stopped to see you first!" Isabelle yelled tears streaming down her face. "Iz..." Isabelle turned away from her. "Go to hell."
Brynn got up out of the chair and turned to see Freddie, he had clearly heard all of it, Brynn could tell by the way he was looking at her, she just walked past him, going to the waiting room she just sat down, staring at the wall numbly.

Freddie listened to the conversation sadly, and sighed as Bri left again. "Iz.." He looked at her pleadingly. "Look.. we want what's best for you, and Dylan was the one who wanted it the most. I swear on my license that if he'd lived, you wouldn't have. He knew the potential you have to be something amazing, and he didn't want the world to not see it. He loved you the most of all of us. " He managed a sad smile. "Izzy.. you'll see him again one day. I promise." He smiled, and kissed her head.
"Is there any chance you and Dylan.. could've been pregnant?" He asked, looking at her curiously.

Isabelle looked at Freddie and sighed. "I'm 18 weeks pregnant. I was going to tell Dylan sometime on this trip." Isabelle took a shaky breath in looking down at her hands. "I've known for four weeks, but, we were just settling into our new life and I didn't want a baby." Isabelle admitted. "I really don't want a baby now. You should have just let me die Freddie. Because all I want to do now, Is die."
2 weeks later
Brynn sighed when Freddie sat down beside her on the couch, Isabelle was still in the hospital, but Brynn refused to go and see her after what had happened. Her due date was closer than ever, but Brynn just seemed to be growing more and more distant. She glanced at Freddie shifting so that she could kiss Freddie, it was a long loving kiss, she hadn't kissed him like that in a while. "I'm sorry..." Brynn whispered. "I'm trying to get up and do things...I just can't...its like my body doesn't want to function."

Brynn sighed when Freddie sat down beside her on the couch, Isabelle was still in the hospital, but Brynn refused to go and see her after what had happened. Her due date was closer than ever, but Brynn just seemed to be growing more and more distant. She glanced at Freddie shifting so that she could kiss Freddie, it was a long loving kiss, she hadn't kissed him like that in a while. "I'm sorry..." Brynn whispered. "I'm trying to get up and do things...I just can't...its like my body doesn't want to function."

He sat next to his pregnant wife and he kissed her head softly. "I know, love. Here.." He moved the pillows. "Lay down. Let me rub your back."

Isabelle watched Freddie closely nodding her head, she didn't say anything though, just turned away from him.
Brynn sighed laying down, Benjamin with with Freddie's parents and the break was nice, but she missed her sons smiling face. "Hows Isabelle?" Brynn asked softly. "I know you've been checking in on her."

"She's just fine now. The burns are showing promise for recovery so far, but they wanna keep her in for at least another week, just because of the baby, and the accident. " He reassured her, and smiled, running a hand through her hair, and holding her to him.
"Good..." Brynn replied leaning back into Freddie, she turned slightly to face him placing her hand on his cheek. "I love you." She murmured gently kissing him.
Freddie grinned, kissing her back eagerly, and moved his hands to her shoulders, then after breaking the kiss, he moved one to her stomach, and watched it. "I can't believe we're having another one." He smiled, and kissed at her neck, Her breathy moans causing his hair to stick up, and encouraging his spur of the moment behavior.
Brynn smiled at his eagerness kissing him once again, she shifted making it easier for Freddie to move around her stomach, shivering when his hand brushed over her swollen belly. "I'm glad you took the day off." Brynn smiled softly pressing her lips back to his.
He peeled her shirt up, and placed soft kisses on her skin, before smiling at her, and then pulling it back down, and just wrapping his arms around her snuggly. "I'm glad I'm married to an amazing woman." He said in her ear and kissed it.
Brynn sighed closing her eyes, she smiled a little linking her fingers through Freddie's gently squeezing his hand. "I'm glad I'm married to an amazing man."
Brynn smiled watching Benjamin color at his table. "What are you drawing Ben?" Benjamin looked over at Brynn running over with the piece of paper. "A picture for Auntie Izzy." He replied with a small smile. "I'm sure she will love it." She said sending Ben back over to his coloring table.

Isabelle was greatful when Freddie informed her that her sister had gone into Labor and with in the hospital, the same hospital she was in.
Isabelle moved down to the labor and delivery rooms as she had escaped her own room. She found Brynn's room going in to see Ben sleeping on the chair but she couldn't see Freddie, she sighed going over to Brynn glancing at the baby as she did so. She jumped when Freddie came into the room. She smiled apologetically, she knew Freddie was angry with her, he just was trying not to be. "I just wanted to make sure she was okay."
"Amelia..." Brynn said softly looking at Freddie. "We should call her Amelia."
