The humans have found a need to expand their territory; their own growing numbers. But, once they start trying to cut down the forest, they are attacked. Arrows seem to fly at them from nowhere; even the elements themselves attack. After further exploration, the reasoning was found. Elves and magisprits live in the forest.


The elves have managed to make their shelters within the forest without disturbing it. They hunt little, only for special occasions. Their hair and eye color are often something that will blend into the forest they live in; green, or brown, or the color of a flower or rock they live near. They tend to be a little shorter and slimmer than humans, and rely a little more on magical ability. They tend to have a balance of physical and magical strength, though their physical strength cannot match the human's, and thei magical strength cannot match the magisprits, the combination still makes them useful. The elves have their own language that only humans that interact with elves can know, and the Mother Magisprits all can speak their language. Elven voices are more like song. They age very slowly, and are immortal, though most are reckless enough to get themselves killed before they get old enough to see if problems arise from old age.

The magisprits are the spirits of the elements. They are all female, unless they are a half-breed (Since the humans are just discovering the elves and magisprits, any halves at the beginning of the rp are half elf, not human). Their hair and eye color reflect their element (water magisprits will have blue hair and eyes; shadow magisprits will have black or purplish hair and eyes; steel magisprits will have gray hair and eyes; etc.). They are about the height of average humans, though as slim as the elves. They rely purely on magic, though some may carry weapons for just-in-case circumstancees. They were originally born of their element, and when one dies, it is reborn as long as its body is put in its element. When it is reborn, she has no memory of her previous life, and has to learn to control her element all over again. They will not eat animals that live in their element (water magisprits will not eat otters, fish, etc; air magisprits will not eat birds; sun magisprits will not eat diurnal creatures; shadow magisprits will not eat nocturnal beings; etc.). The magisprits also have thier own language, though each element has a slightly different accent. Only a few elves are able to master their language; humans are incapable of speaking it, but can learn to understand it. Their voices will mirror their element (water magisprits will sound like a running river, or a crashing waterfall, depending on the mood; shadow magisprit voices will be soft, and nearly inaudible; sun magisprits will sound joyful and bright; plant magisprits will be soft, though bright, too; etc.). Magisprits all live in groups with their own element of magisprit. Each group has a Mother Magisprit, who is the oldest magisprit of their group. They are immortal, though they age as quickly as humans do; they simply stop aging at a point. Their curiosity and want to explore often gets them killed.

Humans are varied in appearance. Most want to be able to get to cut down the forest for living space, though a few oppose it. They carry a variety of weapons both to attack and defend. They all share a language, though some will have some sort of accent. The humans hunt and forage for food, and are only picky to their own tastes, not rules of their groups. They are incapable of magic, relying more on their own physical strength than anything else...aside from their technology. They are mortal, and are cautious enough for them to live to an old age for their race.


Once the humans identified the differenced between themselves and these creatures, they were considered enemies, and impossible to reason with, considering they did not speak the same language. A few of the magisprits and elves have sent some of their younger members to learn their language, so that they might be able to reason with them. Some of the humans are trying to learn the languages of the elves or magisprits, for the same reason. Both sides prepare for war, though very few magisprits or elves see it as necessary; they had their own war amongst themselves, though none speak of it anymore, because they became allies when they found they couldn't kill each other. Now they work together against the humans. there are humans that try to see a way for peace to happen between all three races, but with their misunderstandings, is that possible?

In your character sheet, please include your race, element (if you are a magisprit), powers (if you are an elf), a written description (even if you have a picture), and where your charcter stands on the war between the races. Other than that, make sure you add in the normal stuff; persoanlity, equipment, etc.

1) No godmodding.

2) you can create multiple charcters, as long as you can keep track of those charcters.

3) Characters can die, with the consent of both the person being killed, and the person doing the killer. The only exception is when someone drops out of the rp. Then their character is free game.

4) Let me know if you will not be posting, whether permanently or temporarily. We will find something to do with your character.

5) Romnace is allowed, but keep it pg; site rules, people.

6) Humans, magisprits, and elves only, please. Halves are allowed, but they are limited; send a pm to request a position as one.

7) Send a pm if you are going to be a Mother Magisprit; there can only be so many.

8) If you are going to be a type of magisprit not listed in the intro, pm me, please. I have a list of magisprit types, and will consider any new types.
