Nation Name: United solar Social Republic

Species: Humanoids called for "Deutch". They stand just as tall as a human however their eyes are gray, black, or brown and on their hand they only have four fingers, one thump and three fingers. Their skin is steel gray, their hair is black and due to untold generations of being exposed to nuclear radiation, the Deutch has developed an immunity against the radioactive affects.

Importance: This is the capital of the USSR, and the Deutch view it with high value. It is the home for the government and all people of importance.

Importance: Used to raise up people who will be divided into different sections of the system.

Importance: These planets gives the majority of food for the population throughout the system.

Krieg System (Average System)
3 planets are habitable.
-Krieg I+II ~ Military Outpost World.
Importance: This is the largest training grounds for the USSR. Hundreds of soldiers are trained on these planets in the many different areas that they can encounter. It is the second heaviest defended world (Besides from the Prison World in the Hjover system).
-Krieg III ~ Military Production Planet.
Importance: If you think you have seen pollution, you have seen nothing till you arrive on Krieg III. Radioactive rivers, garbage everywhere, the sun is almost blocked out by the polluted skies of smoke from the furnishes and factories. This is where the machines never sleep, and where weapons of all forms are created 34/8 (the time period on the planet).

Hjover System (Rich System)
Five planets are habitable.
-Hjover ~ Prison Planet/Population Planet
Importance: This planet is the home to all the prisoners, POWs, and traitors throughout the USSR. It is over populated and over protected as the USSR fears that a lot of the traitors and people from this planet will manage to escape and overthrow their regime.
This planet is also the training grounds of the Unknown Legion.
-Yver I ~ Mining Planet.
Importance: This planet is where some of the more "Allowed" prisoners mine out raw materials that is used at the research planet and industrial planet.
-Yver II ~ Research Planet.
Importance: This is where the newest technology is created and tested. For everything, from military to prison security to social security.
-Fordamte ~ Industrial Planet.
Importance: Like the one in the Krieg system, this planet is over polluted, however it is the only planet with the highest technology to mass produce almost anything that is asked.
-Guuter ~ Agricultural Planet.
Importance: This planet generates the food for Hjover and the other planets.

Importance: These planets are, currently, where the largest bastion of soldiers are located, ready to be deployed on to the next battlefield in the system that the USSR is invading. Also, these planets have become completely militarized.

The Death Korps of USSR, the USSR's main, and largest army, and it has a slightly complex, yet somehow simple, way of fighting.

The army, when invading, depends on four factors which are taken into consideration before a battle is commenced.
One, Surprise; that they get the enemy with surprise, for if they do they will be able to push them back and then gain time to establish a strong foothold on the planet.
Two, Lightening Mobility; if they can get a base quickly set up, they will be able to send more soldiers to the land and slowly make their way across the planet.
Three, Numbers; The Death Korps of USSR uses their massive numbers to overrun their foes through sending millions of soldiers on the front line, armed mainly with gun powder weapons and heavy artillery.
Four, Reinforcement & Supplies; Any Deutchlieg can go to war, but if they have no reinforcements or extra supplies, then it is rare that any commander is willing to go to battle.

The Death Korps of USSR uses lightening warfare and tries to thin the enemy's front line through fighting in a larger area. They use "diamond hard attacks and steel strong defenses", meaning that when they attack, they attack with everything they have, sending missiles across the land to bombard the enemy, millions of soldiers ahead to meet the enemy head on along with:
  • Tiger Tanks
    • To serve as support for the infantry and take on heavily armed vehicles and strongly defended buildings head on.
    * Basilisks
    • To provide with bombardment from afar.
      • These weapons have shells called Grounders, which are bombardment shells which are created to destroy buildings, concrete and metal. (Flesh is ripped apart easily with such a shell shot at it)
    * Along with that there are the many air crafts (look below) to support before, during and after and attack.


Often for when the invasion begins, Battle-Tech Priests are send as well. Like any Tech Priest, they function like mechanics however they are also trained to function as soldiers and be able to defend and attack when ordered to.
These Battle-Tech Priests are to ensure that even under the harshest and deadliest circumstances, the buildings are to be built and the weapons to be fixed, no matter what.

They work hard to create the bases needed when the invasion has begun, and if they fall behind schedule, then they will have to answer to the the commissars, who will "motivate" them to catch up lost time.

For moving quickly across large landscape, the Death Korps use Speeders, which can contain 80 soldiers, and can cover ground quickly, despite its heavy size and weight.

The Death Korps of USSR, takes any method into usage, right from poisoning drinkable waters, to doing aerial bombing, all the way over to use Orbital Nuclear Warheads on their enemies food supplies.

Also, if they need to pass great bodies of water, they use space ships to travel the distances, bombing planes to destroy any island where the enemy may be hiding, and satellites to locate the enemy, and again...they are ready to blow away anyone and anything that may be suspected to be a military base, or a city with "Locals"

Death Korps of Krieg:
Brief History: Considered to be the largest military force of the USSR, it's history dates back to the unification of the USSR and has played a major role in the conquest and expansion of the USSR. It is a state supported army, thus most of their equipment is bought out of the expenses of the government, and there are certain policies which strips the systems from their food supplies, if it is deemed necessary by commanders/generals that their troops are in need for these supplies they can go to any system, friendly or not, and take it.
Harsh propaganda is used to both intimidate and inspire people of Deutchlieg to join the Death Korps instead of any other regiment, and false promises are made to make more and more Deutchliegs join the Death Korps.

Deutchlieg civilian who joins a regiment for at least one and a half year, will become a citizens of the USSR and will gain economical, social and security benefits, while those who doesn't still remain civilians and though they have rights, they don't have as many rights as the citizens.

Uniforms. The uniforms are typically gloomy and not very heroic looking, however it is good when it comes to battling off the effects of the weather, such as mud, rain, snow, and cold, and as one progresses through the ranks, the uniforms becomes more and more fancy and heroic looking, sometimes even with a few free medals!

Typical Strategy: The Death Korps of Krieg uses a lot of massive frontal attacks, sending hundreds of thousands of armed and trained soldiers towards the enemy, supported by heavy artillery, air support, and heavy vehicle support (i.e tanks).

Size of Army: When the numbers of the Battle-Tech Priests, Battle-Commissars, pilots and so on, are all added up, there is a rough estimate that the Death Korps of USSR consists of 16 billion men and women, who are permanently in service (as in, they aren't doing it for the citizen ship), however due to this large a force, it has been divided down into smaller armies called for "DK-#" where the "K" stands for "Korps" and the "#" is the number of the army that is being deployed.

Brief History: As the strength of the Republic increased, and as the Korps got bigger and stronger so did the number of men and women who were relieved from their duty as soldiers, while some were relieved it was over, others were insulted by it. Especially the Battle-Tech Priests were angered by their release of duty, for they weren't trained to be Tech Priests and felt much more at home with their beloved war machines and their fellow soldiers.
Thousands begged Pope Pius XIX, Ulric Swath, who had been a former Battle-Tech Priest himself, to do something. And he did. Using his vast fortune he paid all the expenses for uniforms, weapons, and equipment for these men and women, and formed the Legion of Steel, an army that was to serve the Cultus Mechanicus, which was back then a politically and economically strong order.

It recruited and within half a decade, the army had risen from a few ten thousand to over seven million members, however this caused concern for the USSR, who quickly enforced policies, restricting the Legion of Steel from having more than two billion members.
Due to the constant usage of machinery, and many of the soldiers are cyborgs (as they have lost limps from the charges against enemies), their army name was changed to The Forgotten Steel Legion, as they don't receive help from the government and only from the Cultus Mechanicus Order.

They are typically ordered, by the government (despite the fact that they don't work for the government), to lay siege on planets and work as defensive armies, holding a powerful grips of objectives and defends them with whatever it will take.

Uniform: Just like the Death Korps of USSR's uniform, just brown.

Typical Strategy: Siege warfare. The use of poisonous gas, orbital bombardment, nuclear warheads, trench warfare, aerial bombing, biological warfare (and the list goes on) are all a part of how the The Forgotten Steel Legion fights.
They are rarely used for frontal attacks; they're defensively trained.

Brief History: The USSR has an official regiment of soldiers, trained to work behind enemy lines, and use guerrilla warfare against the enemy while the main army would force the enemy to face a war on two fronts.

Uniform: None, they use whatever their environment consists of and that is their uniform. Simple, fast, and unseen.

Typical Strategy: Sabotage, terrorism, and sniping. These squads of men are trained to hit the enemy's weak spots so hard that it hurts, they use snipers to take out their targets from afar, and use silencers to make as little noise as possible. They use a wide variety of bombs, depending on their mission, and they know how to survive on their own for months.

Size of Army: Somewhere at 50'000 men. A squad is 5 men and/or women.

Guards of the Republic

Brief History: With time, the Republic realized that as much is important to have a strong external army, it was equally important to have an internal army to protect the borders and the peace within the USSR, thus the Guards of the Republic was formed.
These guards works together with the Commissars, and often do raids against gangsters, terrorists (or the Extremius), keeps the Cultus Mechnicus suppressed from too strong social power and often confiscates their goods and imprisons their workers.
They are found in high numbers on Hjover, where the prison is guarded by these ruthless soldiers.

Uniforms: Infantry.

Typical Strategy: Street warfare. These men are trained to fight in the metropolis streets of the USSR planets, and to use their environment to their advantage.

Size of Army: Depends on each planet, however it is generally 19% of the population, and they are always active, always doing something and executing someone.

Unknown Legion

Brief History: Recently the USSR has found that the Maunkee Empire refuses to let go of their cities easily, and a frontal assault usually ends in disaster. Thus, they have begun to make contracts with the prisoners on the planet Hjover, allowing the majority of the prisoners to serve three years in the Unknown Legion and then they are given their freedom, however, these prisoners are given only basic training and then they are send into some of the most hostile warzones where they have a few hundred people who has contact with the Forward Base HQ, so they can keep on doing missions.

Typical Strategy: Urban warfare, and attack in masses.

Size of Army: 900 thousand.

Commissariat Office

Brief History: The USSR has always been paranoid of aliens and terrorists, the fear that their overly populated planets would one day rise up against them has been like a living nightmare for the politicians, and thus they created the Commissariat Office.
Charged with inspiring fear, these ‘patriots’ are the law. They have to execute a certain number of citizens and civilians everyday, and when they have to keep a very keen eye on the ambassadors, and they are also in charge of making sure (by whatever needs they have to use) that the soldiers attack on their orders. Also, they work as assassins for the USSR, and thus some of them are specialized in getting rid of political opponents and alien leaders.

Uniforms: Battle Commissar inspire fear and courage for the USSR soldiers.
Social Commissars, are in charge of the people and works with the Guards of the Republic

Typical Strategy: They usually follow the strategies of the regiment they are attached to, however if they want to do something different, they have to suggest it to the commander, who will most likely say ‘yes’.

Size of Army: Records for the size of the Commissariat Office is not recorded.

The 13th Regiment

Brief History: The USSR, ever since the first rebellion, was aware that they needed a loyal, committed and disciplined army who would not waste any opportunities to gain victory. An army which was to be deployed and who would use whatever means it would take to secure victory.
The 13th Regiment was created to be this army, the elite soldiers of them all, few in numbers, but better trained than any other soldier could hope to be, and their equipment makes their cousin regiments look like the poorly supplied armies they are.

Typical Strategy: Lightening Warfare. They strike fast and hard at critical points, and with the help of other armies, they will maintain their position. They will not hesitate to use nuclear warfare to gain their goal, and planets are not expected to survive when they are deployed.

History

Rise of the USSR


2'500 years ago, Deutchlieg was like any other average planet, filled with its locals, who were fighting to gain the supremacy over the world, and just as greatest of their war came to an end, the Communistic USSR stood victorious.
The following two centuries the USSR pushed as hard as it could to improve its technology for they, unlike many other creatures were already aware of the existence of other life forms through the universe and thus wanted to be a super power over them as well.

after 200 years of researching, the USSR had gained perfect access to the universe and began attacking neighboring planets, claiming the land for themselves and cleansing the locals completely, and although the USSR came across some more technological advanced creatures in their First Expansion Expedition, they used their sheer number to overcome them and take their technology as their own.

With this method they quickly gained control of the Deutchlieg system within a few years of conquering. The USSR then renamed itself for United System's Social Republic (short: USSR...wow...), and they launched another campaign for the people, this time productions and advancement, where the finances of the government were mostly spend on improving the technology and productivity of the factories, and another century passed with nothing more but pure researching.

For the USSR, it was mass scale improvement as the space vessels became cheaper, they invented powerful bombs and began to use the other alien technology for their own advantages despite having little understanding of how the devices functioned, they simply copied their equipment, set it together in the same order and then sold it.

The Enemy Within


As the USSR grew in size and strength, some of its commanders began to show their true sides, and rebelled against the government, causing minor civil wars to break out.
The Government now understood that they didn't have the respect nor support of their own people and therefore created the Commissariat Office which was charged with keeping order within the borders of the USSR, and they certainly did, they were trained to kill without hesitation and as the Deutch people grew quickly in size and numbers any commander could easily be replaced with another commander.
Internal genocide began, millions of soldiers, officers and civilians faced public execution, terror and propaganda began to reign throughout the entire Empire, making the people afraid of the government, which suited them, they didn't need their love nor their pity...only their loyalty, nothing more.

The Commissariat Office began to discard the files for its members in order to keep their real strength hidden from those who were curious, and as time passed the government began to set restrictions for who could be killed and how many could be killed, though the internal genocide continued, just not at as an extreme rate.

The Psykers are Discovered.


As the government became aware of the existence of psychic people they became terrified. They feared that these people would learn how to manipulate their abilities and then overthrow the local government, if not start a full scale revolution, and the government then launched a full scale Purge.

Billions of civilians were massacred, laws and policies were enforced banning psykers from existing at all, and those who did exist had to be turned in. Those who did turn the psykers in received almost outrageous rewards, beggars became high classed people, and those who hid them became beggars, as the Commissariat Office claimed everything they owned and threw them on the streets as a form of punishment.

The purge continued for five years and then stopped. 6 billion bodies were piled up by the end of this great purge and the message had been most clear for the people and commanders. No psykers would ever exist within the USSR, and those who did would be hunted down, no matter the costs.

Second Expansion Expedition Launched


Now that the USSR had become as powerful as it was, it launched a Second Expansion Expedition, and began to conquer more and more planets, for each planet the numbers of soldiers that died were always in the hundred of millions, but the government, commanders and Commissars didn't care.

The same tactics that the USSR had used from the start of the union of Planet Deutchlieg was still being used which included massive frontal attacks and heavy artillery to be used.

These wars didn't go by without side effects, for as the wars were being fought the economy began to enter a crisis, the prices began to rise, inflation became intergalactic and the unemployment increased as the amount of machinery began to substitute the labor force of the Deutch people.

This new crisis brought new troubles that began to mark the downfall of the USSR.

The Second Purge


With billions upon billions of civilians and citizens without jobs and homes a cult suddenly emerged. The Cultus Mechanicus.

At first this cult was simply ignored by the local leaders, they were simple scientists that made inventions which served the USSR and since they payed their taxes, the local governments and enforcers didn't do anything, however as their influence increased with their numbers, their financial support began to grow dangerous, the USSR ordered another purge to start.

The Commissariat Office expected little to no resistance from this cult and did simple raids with relatively simple tactics...It soon became a bloodbath and after a few lost battles, the Captain-Commissars were all replaced, street wars began to break out between the USSR and the Cultus Mechanicus.
Streets were filled with bodies and flames caused the many houses and its residents to become endangered, and as the Commissariat Office got get very far with their progress as millions upon millions of their members were systematically killed and other higher ranked members simply disappeared, but their existence was still there and it was hard to root them out completely so, the USSR's chairman turned to politics and made a deal with the 'Pope' of the Cultus Mechanicus.

The Cultus Mechanicus would be spared from total destruction as long as they would provide financial, political and military aid for the USSR and in return they, and their members, would never be a target of the Commissariat Office.
With these terms the Pope agreed and ever since the Cultus Mechanicus supplied the USSR with financial, economical and military aid (i.e, the Batlle-Tech Priests).

With time, veterans from the Death Korps formed the Forgotten Steel Legion, and although the USSR was against their existence, the Pope simple reminded the Chairman that the Cultus Mechanicus had sworn they would also provide with military support, and thus the Forgotten Steel Legion was their military support, the Chairman had to ignore the new regiment that had been formed.

Isolation


After the many victories and the loss of tens of billions of souls, the USSR, now confident about its power entered isolation from other nations, cut off its trade support.
For the next 200 years, the USSR's economy and politics spiraled down into chaos.

The government became a dictatorship in the end, the economy became worse and worse with every 5 years that passed, and the taxes fell down to 1.5% of all income, making the USSR one of the poorest nations. Hundreds of millions joined the army in hope to escape the misery amongst the commoners and lower classed people, while the business men who owned the production of weapons, trucks and atomic weapons enjoyed a great time as the government continued to buy and stock their weapons.

The Technology of the USSR became a mixture of industrialization, steam driven engines, nuclear powered factories and unknown devices that the Cultus Mechanicus created. No one really wanted to improve the economy or the technology, and the USSR also began to fall behind in technology compared to its former trade allies.

Back in Business

Presently the USSR has opened their borders again and discovered the neighboring solar systems existence, and sees them a threat to their state as a Galactic Superpower, and their reactions were the same when they had a few skirmishes with neighboring systems. When they encountered the Maunkee Empire, which they are currently at war with, and thus far neither side have shown any form of mercy for the other.

The USSR are, as of the moment, in a paranoid state, their fear of being attacked any moment is greater than every and thus they are prepared with several counter-attacks to fend off any invaders that would attack their Space Territory, and invade them instead, using their typical mass attack tactics.
