Zuko smiled. his Daughters were visible now. the smile got even bigger when he spotted three high velocity jets heading towards him. he then gritted his teeth and punched the first as they came close. It was engulfed in the blast cone from his first jab. the second had came too fast and too low for the jab to work, so he slapped it downwards with a bit of his own fire. the two sources blazed purple when Achi's Blue fire met with her father's orange flame. he had gotten the feeling then that he was fighting Azula, the third blast had gone unaddressed. He was stunned to even think about what he'd do to Azula, he hated imagining that Achi was in her place. the fire splashed his legs, incinerating his pants instantly, and burning him with no mercy. Zuko stood in the stench of his cooking flesh. then snapped his legs together. the fire was extinguished. but a coating like that of leather was now covering Zuko's legs. Kiro had begun waving in frantic gestures. only to have Zuko shake his head. "When you play with fire. you're bound to get burned." he whispered. then looked more closely at Achi. Then Zmey. he rocketed towards the both of them. Avani just happened to be in the perfect place. he sprinted forward. then slid with his foot out the friction on his feet sparking a trail of small fires to burn where his foot had been only seconds before. when he stopped. he was within the three's triangle formation. he flipped backwards. the trail that was following his foot shot from the ground with his foot like a snake attached to string. when his burning foot was where his head used to be. he disconnected the fire, and completed the flip, while aiming at Avani. a jab sent the thinning line fire at Avani. Two forceful punches sent a giant column of fire at each of his children, And then he began spinning. lightning gave it's loud chirping sounds as it built in charge around Zuko, who was also throwing in the red glow of his flames. soon becoming a tornado of fatal energy. The spinning stopped. In effect the column of lightning and fire expanded in a diameter to slowly become it's own force. Zuko only needing to replenish the charge of the electricity, so he'd kept the lightning sourced to his fingers, he could use the connection as a leash if he felt the children couldn't get free from the attack. with no charge for it. the fire would dissipate. the gravitational magnetism offered by the lightning not putting up the barrier to keep the flames from swallowing up to much oxygen. the science he'd devised for this attack took years for Zuko to perfect. fire only lived wfor a short period of time without a source. with one, it could burn for days, but if one limited the oxygen to the flames without, then it'd last longer. The lightning ate up the oxygen, also splitting apart hydrogen and oxygen. the nuclear reaction was what also held the column together. Zuko then fell forward. landing on his hands, and giving a soft groan through clenched teeth. the leathery layer on his legs had been split with all the movement, and now was dripping a clear liquid onto the ground, mingled with blood. he caught a whiff of the smell, and water came to his eyes. he then stood once more. and hardly felt the goop running down his legs. he'd wince though every time he moved. but this fight wasn't over. and what kind of king quits when he's been slightly wounded? besides, this was only for fun.

Achi was elated when her bolt hit her Father, the attack highlighted her increased skill which, her Father did not know of. A beam broke over her lips but her stance stayed strong and she kept a close eye on him. The fabric of his pants were smouldering and his skin a little burnt she was surprised at the extent of the damage but shrugged it off, 'when playing with fire you are bound to get burnt' she thought to herself, repeating the age old quote that Fire benders were taught since a young age.

Achi was surprised when her Father began running at them, full speed raising her arms she slid back and watched him closely. He was then in teh middle of them, thinking this was a tactless move that seemed careless of her Father she watched him, the fires still flamed highlighting the path he had just run. He flipped then and Achi leaned down, her fingertips touching the coarse ground he righted himself and shot out at Avani, before she could react a huge column of fire was burning towards her, springing from her crouch she threw herself to the left and made a tight role, landing gracefully on her knees and then like lightining she was back on her feet. When she looked up again her Father was spinning at such a rate he was but a blur surrounded by fire and lightning, gasping she began to shoot small probing fires at the tornado to little avail. The column of raw power began to spread slightly, the air around grew humid and sweat trickled down Achi's neck. Suddenly, it stopped and her Father fell. Shocked she could do nothing but stare then she took a tentive step forward if he needed help. He rose again then and the glint in his eyes told her it was not over. Grinning she jumped back, soaring through the air to arrive a few metres back from her original position. As soon as her feet touched the ground she let off two consecutive round house kicks, releasing bolts of fire at her Father at an uncanny speed.

Zuko was waiting for his little fire bug, Achi. answering her roundhouses with his own. the symmetry of both their attacks quenching the fire before it made it to its intended targets. Zuko then began walking towards his youngest, sending fire at her in brief short bursts. He'd blast a few off in his eldest, and Avani's direction, but his main target was Achi. he felt his chest and outlined the foot prints Avani had left when she had kicked him off his feet. with a circular wrench of his wrist, a crack of lightning hissed at his youngest. all the while he walked even closer to her. until he finally got withing striking range. he then sprinted up, and stopped not even two inches from her. and would quickly place his left foot behind her right knee for a tripping attack. he would then aim a jab to her mid-section.

Fudo smiled as Achi stopped and countered his attack. The blade in Fudo's hand lit on fire as he used this to slice the returned fire. From there he decided he would turn the blue fire on his blade white and see how skilled the young ones were. He didn't want to hurt them but he also wanted to test their skill as best he could. From this point Fudo sliced the air in two 'X' shapes that sent a white blazing 'X' at each of the girls. Even if these were dodged the heat from them would be easily noticeable from seven feet away. The fire now disapates from Fudo's blade as he charges lightning into it carefully. This made his blade sound as if it were chirping with lightning, along with sound black lightning was able to be seen jumping along the blade. Each time Fudo were to swing his blade now a few short streams of black lightning would gracefully flow behind it.

Achi began backing slowly as her Father began crowding her, shooting at her constantly all she culd really do was block the attacks either by means of her own bending or by splitting the fire behind her. The distance between herself and Fudo was great enough that she was able to move out of the way of his blast, feeling a searing heat as she moved. She turned her attention back to her Father as she could feel the electricity in the air redirecting. Her eyes narrowed and she glared at him, prepared for the blast, when it came at her she quickly redirected it sending the bolt of lightning in Fudo's direction. She could see how close her Father was getting but before she could stroke he ran at her. Stepping back a few paces she was nto quick enough and her Father came face to face with her, he tripped her over and she went backward, pulling into a tight ball she rolled backwards from her fall and as she was coming back on her feet she shot at her Father sending two forceful punches in his direction.

Fudo was demonstrating why Zuko had recommended him for promotion from Commander to Captain. He'd announce this at the dinner. but first he had to address Achi's defense. he watched her roll, only to stand and attack with a double jet of fire. he was too close to her for a quick dodge, but a slapping motion and a back hand full of fire and he sent the attack off target, and at the ground. he had been working on a number of new techniques to show in exhibition. and to teach his daughters. he started by circling his wrist, bending fire as he did so, until it was dense and hot enough to be thrown. when it was to the correct volume, diameter, and density, he pushed it away as if he were brushing dust of his lap. the ring sailed slowly but as it rotated, it picked up speed rather quickly. His peripheral sight caught Avani struggling with Fudo's offensive, so he'd send another ring of fire her way to add to the trouble. Zmey was hanging back using fire as a ranged weapon. not getting to close to the denser combat. he brought up a wall from the ground, the fire dripping and hissing. with a jump, and a fast kick forward, he hit the middle of it, making the point of contact shoot at his eldest, while taking the rest of the wall with it as a back trail, going from wall to spear as it flew. Now back to Achi. he hadn't seen her block or dodge the ring, but he knew it was an easy attack to counter with Achi's quickness, and intelligence.

Seeing lightning coming at him Fudo swung his sword as if to cut the lightning. From his sword a bolt of black lightning canceled out the lightning that was aimed for Fudo. From there he took in a deep breath and held it for a second or so. As he slowly exhaled Fudo started a low spin with his leg outstretched, causing a tornado of white flame to surround him. Fudo cut a hole just big enough for him to escape from the back of it and charged it with a black lightning center. The flames began to gain a grey tint to them, since this was fairly new thing for Fudo to do no one would have seen him do this before. The only explanation of why the flames were tinted grey was that the white flames had surges of black lightning flowing through them. The second Fudo began to move the grey tinted flames the lightning in the center vanished. With great speed and control Fudo had the tornado split into two, each half the size but the same power. The flames greatly heated the air around them but were not as hot as the white ones, this time they could be split if any fire was covering the defender's hands upon contact.

If the flame tornado is split however there would be a small surge of black lightning that would easily stun the opponent for a short time, though nothing more. This moment would be all Fudo needs to get close, and he would the second he got the chance. Once close Fudo gets close he would swing his sword at about the middle of the torso, stopping no more than two or three inches away to prevent killing the target.

If the flame tornado is hit with a fire attack it's fire power would increase and lightning power would decrease. Although if hit with lightning the stun would last longer while the flame's power is decreased slightly.

Zmey watched , only shocked for a moment as father shot a wall of fire. Sees it go more spear like and puts palms face out toward the fire, making them come to a halt, pulls arms back slightly then makes a forward motion, as if throwing something, and the fire shoots right back at father. Had bended fire so it was in a less wide range, and narrowed straight for him. A few seconds after that makes a quick high kick, sending more fire toward father, near his legs, knowing that was now his weak spot. She always kept in mind, can't walk can't fight, can't see can't fight. And making one of those difficult for someone, makes it easier to win. Flames surround fingertips, but not burning her, just keeping them near for quick defense or attack.

zuko hadn't been paying much attention to Fudo, but he caught sight of Zmey taking her defensive posture, but hadn't expected the redirected spear of fire coming back at him. he broke off his assault on Achi, and rolled out of the way. he inhaled sharply as he unknowingly dodged one of her follow up kicks, but the second splashed his back like water against stone. he rolled once more, putting out the fire, and stood again with a blackened back. though he wasn't as badly burned as he had when his youngest hit his legs. the wounds would slow him down considerably. he put both his hands up and slapped the ground. in effect a wave of fire washed the ground in a circular radius spreading from his position to wash out in every direction. the flames jumped and danced a few feet in the air, giving him cover to sneak away from his current spot and catch the three off guard on a different side. Avani was already prepared for the fire blanket spreading towards her. she'd put up a wall of earth to block the assault, but he was more interested in how his children would deal with the the new threat.

Zmey blinks in shock, seeing fire coming from everywhere. Feels heat come closer and burn, and runs back a little ways. She suddenly turn, almost spinning on her feet, arms stretched out, palms facing out. As she turns the fire moves with her movements, just barely in time, and misses her. Breathing hard, hands slightly burnt, Zmey searches for her father. Can't fight if you can't see, also worked with can't fight what you can't see. Letting out a disgruntled breath, she took a defensive position, surveying the area around her.

Zuko winced once more as he stood up, and scanned the field. is wash of flames had hidden him from Zmey, but Avani knew exactly where he was, and if not, then maybe he shouldn't move... either way the fire will only last a few minutes, when it's gone so is his cover. He spotted Fudo before Achi and Avani, Zmey was till looking around with her left shoulder to him. He sprinted as fast as he could with the two burns. he just hoped it was fast enough. he halted next to fudo, and swung his arm away from them, towards zmey, then catching sight of Avani, and Achi would prompt him to lengthen the wave, sending an arch of flames, in a crescent shape at the three.

Achi spun in tight circles, the movement casuing the fires coming at her to split off in random directions. She tried to keep her eyes open but the fire seared them so she changed her mind, as the fire began to die down she stepper out, spreading her legs shoulder width apart into a defensive position. When she registered where her Father was she could only see fire looming toward her and decided to use this to try a new move she had been practicing. Taking a few deep breaths she closed her eyes and clapped her hands together, at the last minute when the flames were on top of her she spread her arms up and out, slowly splitting the fire, turning quickly, the flames caught behind her arms followed her and so she had her back to Fudo and her Father, flames aimed at them, forcing her arms back quickly the flames riccotched forward and flew at a frighteningly quick speed toward the two males, hopefully fast enough to end the battle and claim victory for the girls, she thought with a grin as she spun back around to watch her attack and prepare for the counter.

Zmey stood amazed. Achi was a great fire bender, she realized. Zmey felt a need to do nothing, now that the fire was heading towards father and Fudo. She took a defensive stance and awaited to see what father would do. Or to see if her and her sister would win. If so they were very lucky, and strong apparently. Her hands hurt slightly. They weren't burned really, but they did get dangerously close to it. Her hands felt stiff and raw. She sighed. She wouldn't be using her hands much for awhile.

This was getting tiresome. and it was really starting to hurt. Zuko thought to himself. He held his hands clasped together as the countered flames flew at him and his Commander. index and middle fingers held up, with clasping the rest of the fingers together in a tight clench. he then bent over backwards, falling in the process as the flames shot over his prone body. he felt more skin blister under the intense heat of the attack, and winced with a loud but short grunt. With the fire safely past him, Fudo, he wasn't sure. his eyes were closed. He opened them slowly and looked down. his chest was scarlet red, and small blisters here and there surfaced. he shot his gaze back up at the three children. the spark of his more competitive spirit shining through his even redder tinted brown eyes. He would then perform an attack that Uncle Iroh had taught him. by placing his feet close together it would allow lightning to have a more stable conduit, instead of running in zig zags and turns, it was a straight shot to his chi system in his chest and arms. He then crossed his arms over his chest with both index and middle fingers held straight on both hands. The tips of his fingers began sparking and firing off tiny volts in random directions not nearly strong enough to do any real damage, but a bit flashy. He could feel the energy build in his heart, lungs and sternum. like thousands of needles were being gently slid tip against his insides. it tickled in a slightly painful way but no more then when getting a permanent image drawn on someone's skin with needle and ink. like cough almost. soon flashes of white and blue were jumping from his back, and head, along with every other bit of flesh up from his waist. He knew this would finish it. With a continuous chain of lightning heading their way redirecting it would be almost unbearably painful. It'd be like a stamina test, who will were down first. because the launching of this attack would be as painful as being struck by it. only with out the side effects as unconsciousness, and if he wasn't careful, instant death. In his head his fatherly mind intruded with his thinking for a bit, How could you attack your daughters with such viciousness, this could hurt them severely. But the fighter in him shot in. If I don't hold back on it they'd be injured. this is just a mere taste of why I'm the Fire Lord.

Achi could feel the electrical charge in the air, "Zmey run!" she screamed to her sister. This was not going to be a lightweight attack that could be easily dodged or redirected. Spreading her feet shoulderwidth apart she began to take deep breaths to calm her centre. Closing her eyes she could feel the power in the air and could sense where her Father was, she only hoped Zmey would move away in time, something in their Father seemed to have snapped, he no longer wanted to teach, but hurt.

Continuing to breath slowly, remmaining calm her eyes shut tightly she waited for the attack the electric currents were foreshadowing to hit her.

Achi opened her eyes when she heard the shot ring out and yet felt no attack. She saw the lightning take a deadly upward arch and her Fathers voice rang out. She ran over to him and was beside him in less then a miute, "Father are you ok?" she asked, worried he was covered in blisters and injuries, all of them were. Achi could feel her knees shaking a little from fatigue and blood dribbled from her nose but all were still more or less ok. A grin broke over her face then, "So did we win?" she teased rubbing the blood from her nose on a small cloth in her sleeve.

Walking away after seeing her Father was more or less well Achi moved along the ring they had made, picking up her throwing stars and tucking them neatly away in her sleeves making a mental note that when she had free time to sharpen them.
