Lucifer was once an Arch Angel, but as he betrayed, he was cast away. Though, would we really believe that it was only because he had tried to out-do God? Most great evil starts with lesser evils, and these lesser evils may seem to be simple and not harmful, but in this story, it is. You see, when Lucifer was still a angel up in Heaven, he would often take trips down to Earth, and unlike most angels, he had fun while he was there.



Lucifer had traveled down to Earth many times, and every once in a great while, he would become involved with a simple human female. And though he thought the humans could not be impregnated by him, he was wrong. His very last trip to Earth before being cast into Hell with his angel followers, he impregnated a human woman named Lillith Grace, to which she gave birth to Lucifer's son. Generation after generation, only males had been born to the Grace family, females from other families coming in and taking their last name and barring their male child. And after one birth, the women would strangely die, leaving the male and the child all alone.



Every member of the Grace family has died except for the youngest male, the age of 19, not knowing that he has Lucifer as his ancestor. That is, until one day when he falls upon a group of Fallen Angels that can sense that he is a Grace. Though, because they are FAs, they could care less to attack, kill, or the like to the stranger. That is, until they find out that a demon has been sent to Earth to try and convince the Grace child to come back to Hell with him so he can work side by side with Lucifer himself. The demon has teamed up with a Ascended Demon to help the AD prove that they are worthy of going back to Hell instead of being punished to stay on Earth for eternity. Once the FAs hear about this, they decide to tag along with the Grace boy and try to keep him from taking the offer, while trying to decide if they would want to go back to Heaven if they had the chance and trying to keep themselves from getting killed by the two demons.



Fallen Angel (FA): when an angel goes bad, they tend to become far, far worse than any human ever could. They'll gleefully engage in atrocities that would leave any mortal short of a Complete Monster (and even some of them) curled under their beds in fear. The cause of their fall may be an old grudge, some extreme More Than Mind Control, or completely unknowable to mortals.

Ascended Demon (AD): The demon looking to ascend has a few avenues to explore. The most common are to go on a literal or metaphorical quest to Find The Cure. If their "evil nature" is biologically based, like virus vampirism or hereditary lycanthropy, finding the recipe for an ancient cure or researching a new one is one possibility. When it's mystical, getting an artifact (usually a holy relic) is another. The metaphorical route requires they try and get a benevolent god to "reformat" them into a human or even angelic body. This often requires doing lots of good deeds or having an epiphany on the nature of good. Sometimes, just getting a Soul in itself is enough to earn salvation from the Nothing After Death and a Reincarnation as a non-Always Chaotic Evil being. Though, it is easy for them to fall back into their evil ways and they are usually abandoned by demons and angels when they become an Ascended Demon.
