Introduction

It's 1637, A time of queens and kings, spies and espionage. A storm unlike anything ever seen rips through England, mowing down everything in its path. People are no longer safe in their homes, creating panic and chaos. Many of the humans take their chances in the storm, knowing that the one place left to go is haunted by dark things. Lost in the English countryside is a forest where dark and strange things dwell, things of mystery and legend.
The storm forces the inhabitants out of the forest and they flee to the only remaining place. A palace sits neatly tucked away in memory, somewhere between fantasy and horror. It has been lost for many ages, surrounded in thorns and mysticism. A place where no one would dare tread, no one that wasn't desperate.
The palace is dark and grim, the morbid stones standing as a testament of a past long forgotten. A secret hidden carefully in the walls, shrouded by blood and darkness. As the storm approaches, the castle seems to awaken, as if it was waiting for you.
With the storm, wind blows away the dust of time, a new age will dawn. The rain wakens the sleeping creatures of fantasy and the dark creatures of nightmares. They are drawn home, new conflicts erupting. The creatures must find some balance in the palace or be torn apart by it. Strange attractions, unheard of alliances, and bitter rivalries. All the while the humans are plotting to purge all magical creatures, enlisting the help of hunters. A war is brewing what side are you on?
Can you discover the truth of this place? Can you bring together this motley crew of creatures to defend against the hunters? When all is lost can we all learn from our past mistakes to ensure that a future exists?
**We need humans and any other creatures. You may make them up if you want, and i encourage it for originality. At lease one person has to be a hunter, and being classified as a hunter means you are stronger and faster then normal humans because of your training. So creatures, Hunters can keep up with us to a degree. Hunters have just as many options as anything with magic, and perhaps the hunters have hidden forces at work as well. Who knows???? dun dun dun
So I am looking for a leader to emerge in the both groups, the hunters and the fantasy creatures. But Im not going to label one, so if your character evolves into a natural leader then great, but like in the real world, there is always competition for these things. Dont expect someone shy and socially inept to become a leader. Be realistic.**
**I will post your own rooms under Places so you will have a private bedroom in the castle, just pm me with any specifications, or pictures and I will see them posted. There are many rooms in the castle, so do not be shy to explore and travel within the castle. Also please check all locations in the castle for posts and start out posting in Medieval Europe. And try to post once a day at least, or let me know if you will be absent.
One more thing, when filling out a character sheet, please include a picture or a detailed description, history is important as we are all coming from very different backgrounds.**

Asura completely stunned by the entrance of Darious and how much he acted like a child. Her temper flared at the audacity and down right disrespect.
"You are a wet dog, and if you continue to act like a miscreant I will shorten your already pathetic life. Mutt" Her voice was raised and filled with rage.
Who did he think he was? And what was going on, people were popping up like daisies. She stood quickly from her chair and made a B-Line for Darious, a good smack should show him manners. Her path was interrupted by a girl falling threw a window.
Asura stopped in her step, the darkness dispersing from around her when she was caught off guard by the smell of fresh human blood. She was standing in the middle of the room over a battered girl. She felt naked but the smell was throwing off her bending abilities. For the first time in a long time she was exposed and caught off guard. Her eyes looked down at the creature on the floor.
"You really should have stayed outside, I am much worse than anything you will come across in those woods my dear."
Everything faded from her mind, and nothing else mattered but the heartbeat of that little thing on the floor. Darious didn't exist, the sound upstairs didn't exist, nothing else in this castle. She was entranced with hunger. Asura couldn't breathe, her eyes locked on Sabine. Asura didn't know what she was waiting for, she felt heavy, like she couldn't move. Noticing the mark on the girls forehead Asura took a step away from her.
"Dispel, clever girl. I am not going to eat you, I am going to enslave you instead."
Asura could not bite her, nor eat her, but she certainly could make sure the girl obey her. Asura formed a slave collar out of the darkness and placed it around the girls neck. The shadows absorbed into her skin and she was left with just a black mark around her neck.
"I don't know if you can hear me, but if you disobey me, I will choke out your mortal life."
Asura left the girl and walked to her seat pouring another glass of wine. She tipped the wine towards Darious.
"Glass of wine?" She said it with a sultry smirk on her face and a light chuckle. The events were almost comical to her.
"Someone should clean her up before she dies on the floor. I am a little too tempted to eat the poor thing."
Asura tossed a proper dress down on the floor next to the girl.
"You should dress her as well, I cant have any servant of mine looking like that."

Nagash sat in his old stone throne like chair that he had some of his minions create for him. The mindless abominations shuffled throughout his room while they were great servants with unquestionable loyal, mindless killing machines, but they made for rather poor conversationist. His old bones were brittle looking but they were tough held together by the Great Necromancers dark power.
He had been in the Castle a long… long time. Time had no meaning within the dark walls of the castle as time stopped for the Damned. Although people looking in should know that the Damned deserve no pity they were here because it was destined, they deserved… no pity. The Liche Master was wearing tattered robes that had decayed over time, he didn’t have to worry about smell as the smell of decay long since left him and now he just had a faint smell of wrongness but so was his curse. His skull head had burning orbs in them his only way of seeing the world was through his magical perception which saw the world… differently.
His right long bony hands grasped the skin-page tome that dwarfed the hand. The book was almost two feet long with a foot and a half in width. Each page was filled with the dark secrets of Necromancy… Nagashs legacy: his Black Book. He was in his room the third bedroom if he remembered correctly but his memory was as old and as withered as he. The room was barren the only things inside it was the chair and the numerous body parts strung about that he used to summon minions and to help with experimentation. He had no need for a bed because he did not sleep.
Many times without count he wished he was blessed with the ability of sleep, but he would never be blessed with that sweet release. He could never sink into that abyss because he could never truly die. If cut to pieces he would be stranded inside his body conscious but unable to move… He would never find release in this world and the thought of what could be done to him was far worse than death.
He tapped his left fingers against the stone throne, the bones making a faint echo on the stone, he tilted his head unsure if he heard a yell or if it was his imagination. These days he was no longer sure if he was sane or not… Many have called him insane… but an Eternity of Darkness and Isolation can do that to a mind.

Ivory laid down on her bed peacefully and undisturbed. Eyes closed and fingers entwined. She was within the silver lamp upon a dusty desk positioned in a secret room of the castle. She opened her eyes awoken by the noise of howling winds. "A storm..." she concluded sitting up on the edge of her bed, smoothing the creases of her quilt with a gentle wave of her hand. She had been trapped and alone for almost a century now.
Could this storm be the welcome of a new holder of the lamp?
The world had most definitely changed much since. She had pictured the waves of the ocean hitting against the shore in repeat as the storm continued. There were beings in the castle. Yes. That was certain. Some were creatures and some were humans. She could sense it by the echoes of movements and shuffling of feet contained in the castle's walls.
But what did fate have in store for these curious individuals.
"Only time will tell"
She dearly hoped so..

Sabine pounded on the doors screaming for help. The woods had been brutal for her, cuts and scrapes across her body, blood matted in her hair, and her body soaked from head to toe. "Please help, they are trying to eat me!" Sabine was screaming but her voice was no match for the howling wind and pounding rain. She pressed her back against the doors, leaning on them with all her strength but they would not budge. She was only a human with magic talent, not a mage by any standard. The growling from the forest grew closer and she started looking for another way in. Window, a beautiful stained glass window that would be a shame to break. The window didn't compare to life or death. She slammed her elbow into the window shattering it and jumped up into it before a pack of wolves came nipping at her heals. Sabine fell through the window and slammed into the floor a bloody mess. Sabine looked around the room in a daze, her head was reeling from the fall and the animals and general hunger. She collapsed on the marble, a sigh of relief escaping her lips. Safe at last, no more running, no more running. She closed her eyes passing out on the floor. The floor felt like the most comfortable thing she had ever slept on.

Darious Pushed his way through the huge double doors, spilling himself and a giant puddle of water on the floor.
"I feel like a wet dog." He exclaimed as he shook he body, water flying everywhere.
"Oh yea, a dry place, wow and well lit, and holy shit, a bar." Darious immediately ran over to the bar and started thumbing through the bottles.
"Wine, wine, wine, and more wine, where the fuck is the beer? or ale maybe? mead? anything but wine!!!" He collapsed to his knees ruing the heavens for this his greatest punishment. It was then that he noticed something else in the room, it would only make sense that something was drinking all this wine, and that would also explain the well lit room!! By george he has figured it out!
"Come out now you...you...creature. How dare you stock only WINE!!!!!!!!!" Darious pointed hid figure right into the darkness where Asura was sitting. his figure shook accusingly and with frustration.
"Come out and face me like a man!" Darious peered into the darkness with his lycan eyes, peeling away the layers of shadows. A woman's figure began to emerge before his eyes and he was taken aback.
"oh shit im sorry, pardon my rudeness miss." He stared at her intently wondering if she had a reason for hiding like that. maybe she was hideous, or deformed, or like a midget or something! His eyes could not see through to get a better look at her. Darious leaned on a marble pillar staring in her direction.
"Im sorry if I startled you, please come out and introduce yourself?."

((**Please everyone check the OOC board for new updates and also just to chat and ideas about the storyline are welcome, as this is all of our roleplay!**))
Asura's glance fell towards the stairs after hearing the strange commotion. She had been here for one hundred years now and never had she heard a peep. The darkness seemed to swell around her as she stood, hiding her from whatever creature was upstairs. The storm had been raging for quite some time now and this was no storm, it sounded like laughter. Asura shrugged and walked back to the bar placing her delicate hand on another bottle of wine. Easily pulling the cork off she resumed her seat and poured herself a glass. She drank deeply of the glass, feeling nothing but curiosity. What manner of creature laughs like that? A man perhaps, or maybe a monkey? Her thoughts were scattered, partially the wine, and partially some weird sounding critter running around in the castle. Asura finished her wine and sunk into the darkness, no one had seen her in thousands of years and people were not about to see her now. Her fingers caressed the darkness, seeming to pet a shadowy hand. In this world the darkness was ruled by a god so to speak, and he was wrapped around Asura's fingers. So she sat and waited for something to come down the stairs, anything. And she personally hoped it was some form of lunch.

In a room on the second floor of the castle there is a room. In that room there a mysterious things. The most of which being five blood red candles that float around a single brown box. This box itself is odd, to say the least, because it floats in midair too. The only people to ever lay eyes on it are long dead. Of course the INSIDE is another matter entirely. If you were to unclasp the box and lift the lid off of the four poles attached to it you'd see an empty vortex. However in that vortex is a room that is occupied by none other then.....myself. One day, when the storm was more vicious then ever before, a strong gust blew in through through the castle. It was strong enough to even blow out the everlasting candles! One by one the candles unlit and fell to the floor. Until finally there was only one measly candle left floating around. Suddenly the flame started burning faster. As the other candles blew the one left had to use twice the power to keep the box closed! In less then five minuets the candle was no more then a stub and it fell among it's comrades. As did the box (unknown to the men who chose that box it was actually the box Pandora had which Zeus threw through a blackhole to this dimension). The box fell to the floor and shattered as if it was made of glass. A thick globby substance ran from the shards and created a typhoon of black particles. Quickly they came together into the shape of a man with black hair combed into a mohawk and eyes as dark as the night sky. He looked around and smiled. He then gave off a small chuckle. Then some hearty laughter and finally a mighty roar of joy. "No man cen hold Pieter" he screamed, with a thick Russian accent, "And no cestle cen keep me in!" He glanced at the floor and saw the candles. Quickly a small tendril of black oozed out from him and snatched them up. They could be of use he thought. He then fast walked to the door and threw it open with a giant BANG. He walked out of his chamber and down the hall laughing all the while.

Finally he settled on what to do and bracing himself tried to push himself up but found that he couldn't... his bones creaked, and he slowly sank back down in his chair. It had been centuries since he had last arose as he never had a need to. He didn't eat, didn't sleep, and didn't need exorcise by the gods he didn't even breath. Letting out a hollow sigh he waved his hand and quietly watched as some body parts reassembled themselves into the shape of a human man. The man was rather nice looking given the ingredients used and didn't look at all like a zombie. He was wearing a nice little outfit suited for a butler but no matter how nice he could dress him up the zombie would never be more than just that a zombie unable to communicate unless Nagash forced him to but that defeated the purpose as it was still be him speaking just through another body.
The Zombie Butler walked over smoothly and offered his arm to the old lich who graciously accepted it holding on firmly as he forced his knees to straighten and his back bones to snap back into place. He had no doubt that if he was mortal it would have been painful but his ability to feel pain decayed with his flesh. He didn't bother with changing from his ripped robes and honestly he didn't wish to. He was far to old to care about how he looked to the fleshlings. Slowly he walked down the hall, his large black book tucked in his right arm protective as always and his left gently laying on the zombies arm using it as support.
The hallways seemed foreign to him after so many years, and out of the corner of his eyes... or at what least passed as his eyes caught a shadow moving. It seemed another used Dark Arts, although at a much weaker level than his own. He never had time for shadows as they were a pale comparison to control over life itself, but they had to start somewhere, and he supposed shadows were a step in the right direction. They came to the main foyer and slowly descended the stairs, and he had to wonder at what a sight he was. A frail looking skeleton in tattered robes holding on to the arm of a well dressed, well groomed, good looking human man. He came upon an intriguing sight, the vampire woman he knew was here, a sleeping girl on the floor and some man that looked as if he had dubious intelligence greeted him.
The skeleton lich spoke with a soft "Ahm" to get some minor attention. "I am Nagash, welcome to this humble abode. I do hope you all enjoy your stay except for you my dear" at the sound dear he motioned with his hand to the Vampire "Who, as I, have been here long. This is our first meeting, is it not?"
OOC Notes
"What do you mean, clean her up and get her dressed!? Who or what are you exactly!!!? Im so confused... I thought this would be a nice place to hide and I come in and there is a psycho bitch in the corner trying to eat people, some crazy girl jumping through windows, weird ass noises upstairs and now your telling me to just casually take this girls clothes off and dress her?"
Darious had to sit down before his mind exploded. He was Human not too long ago and this was about to kill him. He closed his eyes, his head sinking into his hands as he tried to get his mind straightened out. One eye opened and looked at the girl, she was bleeding and unconscious, she may die. Darious slid off his chair, went and retrieved warm water and a cloth and cleaned her wounds. He bandaged them neatly. He looked at the dress that he was supposed to put on the girl.
"I cant do that. She doesn't even know who I am..."
Just when he opened his mouth out of the corner of his eye he saw the lich. That was most definitely the final straw, and his mind snapped like a twig. He couldn't handle it, a giant creepy skeleton walking down the stairs, and the worst part is that he spoke like a man. Darious stood and backed away from everyone. They were all crazy... he was the only normal one here in this castle. Darious' mind raced from conclusion to conclusion, his thoughts scattered and coming at him a mile a minute.
"Im going to go to bed now...Night everyone"
Those were the only words he could muster, his hands where shaking as he walked past Nagash, His eyes fixated on him in total disbelief. Darious wandered into the bar and crawled into a safe place right between all the booze.

Sabine flopped down on the bed, tired from her long day. "Shit I have to change." She pulled off her dress and slipped the new one on. Sabine marveled at the high quality of the gown, twirling around like a child would. She looked down at her arms, bruised and cut. She began to cry again thinking about all that had transpired the last few years. She collapsed onto the bed gathering a pillow up around her face. Tears staining the pillow she began to sob hysterically. At first the sobs were sad painful things and then they turned into laughter when she realized that she was free from the confines of that awful life she had left behind. This was her new life and she intended to make it the best that she could. Even if she was just a slave. Maybe she could be her masters friend this time. It could work. Sabine decided to rest her eyes and drift off into sleep.
OOC Notes
She sensed someone's presense move closer and closer to the lamp. And she was not disappointed...
Forcefully was she drawn out of the lamp. An unchanged being after all those years. An intricate attire that was for the most part coloured green with golden metallic snakes wrapped around the ankles, legs, belly and wrists down to the chains that binded her to the will of the lamp.
Hovering over the floorboards, her hazel eyes were narrow until they widened suddenly to shift cautiously and curiously so to analyse the features of her surroundings. The castle had changed much from its original state of glory.
She turned her attention back to the one who had rubbed the lamp.
"I am what I am.
I am a Genie, Djinn, Jinn.
A Supernatural creature that exists in Arab folklore.
A parallel world to that of mankind.
Made of smokeless flame or "the fire of a scorching wind"
My name is Ivory Farah..."
This was the speech she always used when approached by a new holder of the lamp.
"Speak your name..." she demanded.
"So it is fate that has lead you--"
She stared at his suit. The first of its kind she had ever laid eyes upon.
"Here..." she finished her sentence awaiting a response.

If only there were properly trained guards. Having the several Hunters defend the town from raids without others would mean they might hold off a small raid, once or twice. But then, who would defend the outlying farms and mines for food and metals to build and trade with? The people need to make some surplus to trade with the surviving world. Only then can we rebuild the Great English Empire!
Rebuilding the town is a tiring thing, however. Gladius rests, and eventually sleeps. The town, it will be his. Soon.

"I don't believe we have met but it is a pleasure to meet now."
Asura knew that the reason they have never come across one another is that neither had the desire to have company.
"Not really sure why all of a sudden everyone is showing up, but my thought is it has something to do with this strange storm. Bad weather seems to bring out the crazies." Her glance shifted towards the bar where Darious was hiding.
She ran her fingers through her hair, twirling the end around the tip of her finger.
"What made you decide to make you presence known my lord? Someone of your standing must have no need for the comforts of mortals."
She gazed at him, his tattered rags and skeletal appearance not even registering in her mind. Appearances were never what they seemed, and this lich was much more then just a skeleton. She had to admit that the castle did get a little lonely, but every person that came around seemed to be a moron like Darious or food. It was a rare experience to be in the presence of such a powerful being. She looked back, the girl was gone, Darious was hiding somewhere like the pansy he was. It was just her and Nagash. She was grateful that she could have one on one time, she was not capable of juggling so many people at once. She was quite anti-social.
OOC Notes
He glanced at the bar and where the girl once lay. “It seems we have..” he had to pause to find the right word or at least one that suited the situation “interesting company.” He did notice the collar around the girl neck when she fled, but slavery was never a concern with him. He had used slaves before and found them quite useful, but not quite as useful as the never tiring undead servants, but he wagered they were rather more enjoyable to converse with.
"What made you decide to make you presence known my lord? Someone of your standing must have no need for the comforts of mortals." The question made him turn his eyes and attention back solely to the vampire. Standing was slowly taking a toll on him as his legs were not used to it although he would not let such a weakness show remaining perfectly erect with only his arm resting on his servant as support. His physical form was weak as it was with all Lichs, his power came from his vast magic that coarsed through his body literally holding his body together.
“Curosity.” He answered “It’s strange to feel so many lives in this castle. For so long it was only yourself and I, and those that did come you saw too.. Something is in the wind, some uneasiness I have not felt in a long, long time.”

"My name is Lady Asura De'Winters, I dont believe I ever told you my name. My manners are rather lacking. I have found no real use for them all these years. I feel something stirring to but Im not sure I care to be involved. Many things have come and gone, and I always remain the same. I have lost the desire to be involved in the affairs of the world and the world has forgotten me easily enough. Do you hold concern for the strange air about?"
She watched him with her intense crystal eyes, sipping her wine ever so often. As a strange looking shadow messenger popped up she could help but laugh.
"How amusing, this place is like a zoo for strangelings. I would love to reply. Tell your great shadow king to piss off, and if he wants to talk he can speak for himself, not send an underling to interrupt our conversation."
She had no concern for who stayed in the castle, as long as they stayed away from her. She would only hold a presence with those who she deemed worthy of her time. Looking back to Nagash she gave him an apologetic look.
"It annoys me greatly to be interrupted. And I may maintain the title of lady, but that is all it is. Ive lost what was left of my patience for such inconveniences."

"I don't like the feel of this place Mirielle. I sense darkness within. Even looking at this place it doesn't feel safe. Are you sure we'll be safe here?" he asked.
Mirielle nodded. "Not all darkness is bad Cyrus. That was the first lesson we learned." she said flatly.
"Well, we could be kicked out you know. Dark beings don't always like light creatures like us." Cyrus replied.
He was pretty uncertained about this, but they really had no place to go. No place was safe for any creature like them anymore. However, Mirielle had felt this place was safe.
"Are you still sure you want to go in?" Cyrus asked.
"I am getting drenched over here, so yes." Mirielle replied curtly.
"Don't be that way sis. It's not nice."
" . . . ."
Cyrus sighed before knocking on the door. Now Cyrus would have waited for someone to reply, but Mirielle had other ideas and opened the door herself. Cyrus cursed and followed her. Upon entering, the two saw a girl drenched from head to toe and two other people sitting down. One looked the the grim reaper he heard tales of and the other wasn't human either. Both were dark that was for sure, in Cyrus's mind.
"Excuse us for barging in but we need a place to stay. My name is Cyrus and this is my sister, Mirielle." he said after removing the hood on his head, revealing a man with pale skin, long silver hair, and gold eyes.
Mirielle also removed her hood to reveal a very pale face with silvery blonde hair and light blue eyes. It was obvious they weren't human. In fact, they were unicorns.

He nodded quietly as she spoke his jaw still getting used to conversing after so long, and he was proud of his ability to avoid slurring his words as nothing ruined a hard, immortal reputation than the loss of speech. "I have lived long, as you have, and I do not like the feeling of this storm." He wouldn't elaborate further until he himself had a better picture than if he believed it necessary he would say more, but he doubted he would as he liked to keep such things to himself.
At the shadow messenger and Asura's response earned a little chuckle from him but lacking the parts it sounded more like a chattering sound of his teeth bouncing from each other. He turned his upper body only not wanting to risk his legs his spine snapped and moved allowing him to see the messenger. The old lich spoke softly, but his voice carrying "I must respectivily decline. Travel is unpleasant for one such as I." With his response given he turned back around only to hear the knock and a light voice speak "Excuse us for barging in but we need a place to stay. My name is Cyrus and this is my sister, Mirielle."
He let out a small tired sigh, and turned back around the same cracking noise as his spin turned once more. "I am Nagash Kadon. You are excused, but I would suggest you watch your steps, this castle is not as empty as it once was." He turned back around this time for good. No matter what he would not turn around for another as the sound was grinding on what ears he had. "I wonder what we will have next?" he spoke with a slight curious tone to his gravely voice "Perhaps a pixie?"

"Nice to meet you." he replied.
Mirielle simply stood there and looked around. She was a bit unnerved by those who were here, but she didn't show it. Mirielle's heart and soul were pretty much frozen inside of her for the grief and the shock of loosing her family to hunters. Just thinking about that horrible day nearly undid her. Hearing that there were still rooms available, she simply left the room without a word of thanks.
Cyrus groan at his sister's rude behavior. She was never like this before.
"Sorry my sister has been through hell recently so she's not herself. Thank you for your hospitality." Cyrus said before bowing. Before he could look for his sister, someone else came in and it certainly wasn't a pixie.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Mirielle soon found some doors. Unfortunately when she opened the door, a pail of water came down and drenched her even more and the pail hit her head. Before she could recover, a log came down and hit her head, knocking her out cold as she fell to the ground.
The hissing of the air though for the most part quiet became rather annoying to her so she made it cease and landed onto the ground gracefully. The floorboards not even squeaking as it held her weight. She was a very light being too.
Ivory turned to face the window. The only sound in the room being the male's voice and the chains on her hands clinking together. She returned her attention to the man as he asked about her kind.
"There are far too many legends to tell..." she said slowly but clearly.
"Do you ask of what Djinn are.." she said extending her left arm. "Or do you ask of what Djinn do.." she finished, extending her right arm.
The gesture and emphasis on 'are' and 'do' were intentional as she wanted to differentiate those questions. They were two very different things and would take up sufficient time to explain properly. Of course, in her experience nobody really took interest in the Djinn kind unless it came to the wishing aspect.
The day she wasn't asked that.. would be the day she'd question for the rest of her immortal life.
Her eyes widened as she observed two shadows report to Pieter Church. Her arms returning to her side, she smiled genuinely. "And you are no ordinary mortal.." she whispered in a secretive manner before giving a quick wink and turning away to carefully explore the detail of the dusty room until he were to speak again.
This room held plenty of distant memories.
She brushed the wall with a fond hand, paused and blew the dust off her palm and out the window.
The night sky twinkling in her eyes as if she still had a speck of hope.
OOC Notes
"Its like a parade...a really fucked up parade. They just keep flooding in."
She looked towards the group and she felt compelled to ask.
"Can anyone tell me why you are all here?"
Asura was getting frustrated, many people in one room made her uneasy, she had been without company for so long. She looked back to Nagash mildly disturbed that there was many strange things around her just hanging out like it was one big fucking party.
"Forgive me, but I seem to need to get some air and perhaps something to eat. Im going to town. I hope I will get to see you again."
She didn't care about the storm or the forest, or the hunters. As long as she could get away from the invaders. This castle was perfect, quiet, secluded, empty... And now every tom, dick, and harry decides to visit. Asura rose gently from her chair, bowing her head to Nagash.
"Thank you for your company, sorry to leave you with this rabble."
She walked out the door into the storm, needing to find some quiet.
OOC Notes
"I know, it's been a while. Where are your parents? I have business with them."
She knelt down and the child told her what she wanted to know, and also something more, a man had come to the village trying to prepare it for being attacked. Hmm...Thats interesting. Asura entered a building silently, like she was nothing but a shadow. Many of the towns people knew her, because she had been there for so long. And how else is a poor village going to survive without the aid of a wealthy benefactor. She had an arrangement with a couple of the families. She gave them money and they gave her bloodwine. She devised it herself, a perfect plan where no one dies and everyone is happy.
"I have come for my shipment."
Asura dropped a bag of gold down on the table and inspected the case of apparent wine bottled.
"I hear there is someone else in town, Is he going to interrupt our little trading agreement?"
The man shook his head and told her all about him, explaining that he would be careful to keep this more of a secret. There were only two families that knew what she was, the rest thought she was just a very rich beautiful woman that lived in the dark castle through the woods. They all loved her for the steady flow of gold Asura provided them, to keep their mouths shut and to keep them from reading too far into her. Asura smiled and picked up her case.
"I will be back in a month. This is for Jessica."
She tossed a cute little doll down on the table next to the gold, for his daughter. She walked out the door, into the ally. She hoped that she would not run into further complications.
