Introduction
"We know what you can do. You know what you can do. You are capable of great things if you give yourself a chance."
Deep in Taiga, also known as the boreal forest, there is a castle thought to have been abandoned a long time ago. On the outside, it is known as the Taiga Facilities. On the inside, it is known as Kasvisto Academy for the Physically Unique, or K.A.P.U.
At Kasvisto Academy, teenagers between the ages of fourteen and eighteen with unique physical abilities are taught how to use these powers. Not physical abilities such as being able to lift a 100 pound weight (However, 1,000 pounds is acceptable), but more along the lines of making things explode by looking at them.
The students at Kasvisto Academy are not treated any different than normal teenagers. They stay in a dorm with up to two other students. They have three meals a day. They attend five classes a day, and are grouped into one of three Class Groups.

All classes start at 9:00 AM, and end at 4:00 PM. Breakfast starts at 7:45 AM, and dinner starts at 6:00 PM.

OOC Notes
"WHoa!!!" Trevor exclaimed as he walked into the main grounds of the castle. "Nice digs" He looked around noticing the other students. He took out his camera and started taking pictures. He snapped his fingers and suddenly there was another Trevor right next to him. Trevor-2 was looking at Trevor and then looked at the castle. "Nice digs" said Trevor-2.
"I know right?" he tossed his bag to his double "Here put these in our room." he turned away and stopped. "Oh and if you see any cute girls, play it by ear." The double smirked and went off to locate their dorm room.
(sorry its short, I just need someone to aim my thoughts at, at the moment. I'll play the double as well but again it is just nice to have some intros first)

"Jeez, could it get any hotter out here? Even I'm burning up... I expected it to be cold so far up north." Marni said as she walked onto the school grounds, a black shoulder bag over her right shoulder. She was wearing a zebra striped t-shirt under a yellow vest, dark blue jeans, and black converse. Colorful bangles, mostly warm colors, jingled on her wrists as she walked, looking around. She was lacking her suitcases because she managed to get one of the people who was overseeing the arrival of students to take her bags to her dorm room for her.
Marni waved her hand in a fanning motion towards her face and continued walking, looking at the other students as she did so, wondering how they, too, were 'different'.

Adrian stayed by the shades, just a few feet away fromt the school building. The weather was hot, and it was bothering him. Still, to him, it probably wasnt as hot as it was to the others. With a small sigh, he stared down at the ground, kicking at the rocks. He had a normal t-shirt on with jeans. It didnt really matter what you were wearing anyways. Well, at least to him. He didnt get why girls got so dressed up, just to look "good." Adrian squinted up at the sun before hurrying inside the building. At least the AC was on here. Feeling much better than he had outside, he headed over to his dorm.
When he got there, he swung the bag onto the bed with a thud. Finally, he didnt have to hold that heavy thing. He scratched his head and looked around the room. It really wasnt that bad actually. This school was a pretty good building. Adrian let himself fall against the bed and stared at the ceiling.

Sabella walked to school. She was wearing a tee-shirt, jeans, sneakers, her a red amulet that was the same color as her waist-length curly hair. She had a very thin layer of water on her skin, to keep her cool. she stopped in front of the gates, and studied them. She had her multi-colored suitcase in her hand. She played with her colpleatly-dry red hair as she walked in. She looked around with her bright violet eyes.

Maiko tugged on the leather jacket as she strode through the school gates, glancing at the students around her; most were wearing t-shirts and seemed to be complaining about the heat. It didn't seem all that hot to Maiko; warm, perhaps, but not hot. Maiko herself wore under the brown leather jacket a plain black t-shirt and dark blue jeans, and in her hand was a single, silver, metal suitcase.
She glanced around the school for a moment, familiarising herself with the facilities and buildings, before heading back to her dorm room. She placed her suitcase on the ground and sat on the bed, looking out the window with a bored expression. Well...this is it, I guess.

Suzie had got the letter and that had pissed her off.
'Dear Suzie, We apriciate the fact you are a shifter but we would like to remind you of the rule no using abilities outside of class...' ect ect.
There were quite a few kids wandering round the grounds already complaining about the heat. Suzie for a fact loved the heat but she prefered to enjoy it as a cat or wolf, there was no fun in basking if she couldn't be an animal. With a scowl she turned towards the building.
'Might as well find my dorm.'

The double had found the dorm but when looking at the names by the doors. He hadn't seen his name at all. [apparently My character hasn't been given a room yet] so it went back down teh stairs to find the student office.

Seth took his time walking through the gates of the school. He had his large black duffle back in his right hand, almost dragging on the ground, and had his black messenger bag slung over his shoulder. He wore a gray T-shirt, dark jeans, and black and white converse.
He looked up at the school and let out a low whistle in praise. This school must be loaded with cash. They probably have a truck load of computers in here I can look at. But he needed to get to his room first. This heat was crazy and all it did for him was drain his energy.
With a last and sort of halfhearted look at the other people standing around the school, Seth walked into the school and sighed in relief when he noticed it was cooler inside. A few people were also mingling inside too.
Might as well find my room...
It took him a while but eventually, he found it. And it was an alright looking room too. He threw his duffle bag on the floor and made his way over to his new bed. Plopping himself down on the bed, Seth retrieved his silver laptop from his messenger bag. He placed his fingertip on the screen and willed it to turn on. Niko strode quickly through the gates of the school. He carried a large, beat up, leather backpack, wore a brown trench coat, white T-shirt, Heavy jeans, and scuffed boots. A suspiciously looking package, shaped like a gun, was duct taped to the backpack. "Big place. Reminds me of outpost." He smiled warmly at the memories of his service days. He was Russian, new to English. Niko fished a cigar out from one of his coat pockets, along with a lighter. He lit it, placing it in his mouth and walking into the building. He didn't bother to look around, that could come later. Niko reached is Dorm a while later, smoking the last of his cigar. He opened the door, oblivious of the other tenant due to total excitement, and unwrapped the package, containing an AK-47, several clips, and two grenades. "My babies. You are free." He slid the weapons under his bed. Niko placed his backpack on the floor, after taking out a bottle of vodka and a glass, sitting on his bed, away from the classmate, and drank half of it. It was then he noticed the girl at the window. He turned, smiling. "Hello! I am Niko!" He said happily, a heavy Russian accent marring his words. He swigged his vodka. "Do we have other roommate?! That would be nice!" He lit another cigar, still looking at the girl.

Eventually Suzie had woken up. Bored she decided to go for a stroll. Still in the form of a black cat with a blue patch on its nose she padded down the hall keeping close to the walls. It didn't take long to leave the girls dorms behind and enter the boys halls. Boredom was always an excuse for an adventure. One of the doors was open. Suzie peered round the door, her almond shaped eyes wide as they would go. There was a boy on the bed with a laptop. Interested Suzie invited herself in and hopped up onto the bed purring. She wondered if he'd work out the fact she was a shifter or just assume she was a school cat. She sat and looked at him swinging her tail from side to side and began counting down the time it would take him to work it out.

Seth was just about finished with his work on the laptop and hadn't noticed the small feline entering the room until it jumped up on his bed. His eyebrow raised at this. I thought animals weren't allowed in this school. I guess even the school can break a few rules if they want.
He sighed before placing his laptop beside him on the bed. Bringing his knees up to his chest, he leaned forward toward the animal with his chin on his knee.
"You're one weird cat," he mumbled, though loud enough so it could hear.

Sabella walked around, aimlessly at first, before she went to her dorm room, number 5. She was no longer wet. She sat down and just played with the water, making it dance. She sighed and let the water fall. SAbella put down her things and left her dorm. She looked around boredly. Her long red hair was now covering half of her face, but she didn't care. Her bright violet eyes studied the peaple and the building.

Maiko heard the sound of someone entering and on reflex quickly turned away from the window to look back at the entrance into the dorm room. It was a young man, wearing a brown trench coats and boots, slipping something under a bed. He then proceeded to begin drinking from a bottle of vodka and smoking a cigar, but that didn't really unnerve Maiko, who had long ago learned that one's vices did not make a person inherently 'bad' or 'undesirable'. He spoke with a clearly Russian accent--which region, Maiko could not tell--and his name, a short version of several Russian and Eastern European names, seemed to make it all the more clear that he was Russian.
"I'm Maiko," she introduced herself. Her own voice had the slightest accent, which could not be placed. "I don't know if we have other roommates--I guess we'll just have to see that."

Trevor's doubles returned with defeated looks.
"These people are weird," said the first double.
"Tell me about it," said the second. "They all just ignore their surroundings and went straight to their dorms."
D3 and D4 were talking and smirking as they approached Trevor and teh other doubles. "Good news, guys?" asked Trevor. But both D3 and D4 shook their heads.
"We were just saying how good looking they all are though." The other doubles nodded and smiled. Trevor stuck out his hand and the doubles touched his and in an instant were gone.
"Ah, I see" Trevor exclaimed. He had just taken in each double's experience. "I guess it will wont be easy with "special" people like them."
Trevor made his way towards the boys dorm when he saw a girl with long red hair. He decided to do things himself and approached the girl.
"Uh, hey" he said at first a bit too softly it seemed for teh girl seemed quite focused. "Hey there" he said a little louder. "What do you think of this place? Not too bad, I just hope the food from the cafeteria taste as good as this place looks" just then Trevor's first double came outside carrying all his stuff still.
"Oi," the doubld called out. "I have news, It seems we weren't enrolled into the school, officially." A key flew in the air and was caught by Trevor. "It seems we get to pick some random room. I went to the office and some assistant, that didn't know anything about dorm precedure just grabbed a key and gave it to me. "I hope we get a room to ourselves," the double stated. "We should go and ...." the double stopped and finally noticed the red head in front of him. Trevor was disappointed in his double, and in turn himself for being so slow..
"Could I get your name before I go on a little dorm room hunt," Trevor asked.
"Actually," the double said quickly. "She can come with, girls can visit during the day"
"Wanna come with?" asked Trevor.
[I thought i would point out that the boy and girl dorms are seperate. Can't be in the same room. There's a rule that says they opposite sex can not be in the opposites dorm between certain hours. Just thought I would point that out, as well as saying it would have been interesting sharing dorms with the opposite sex.]

Max looked over at the school which was about two miles away by snowboard. He turned on his Ipod and started playing the song, I Write Sins Not Tragedies. "Lets go!" He said and looked down at the snowy hill and summoned a snowboard shaped barrier, and suddenly hopped onto it. He put his weight on the front and it hovered forward making it slide down the hill. "I'd chime in with a "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!" Max sang as he slid down the hill and did a 360 spin and grabbed some decent air.

Ali stepped out of his moms car "see ya mom" he called shutting the car door he walked up to his door room "5..6..7 here we go" He stepped over the threshold he was hit by the smell of a cigar he shook it away he would have to get used to it. "Hey there i'm Ali looks like i'm your roomate" He placed his suitcase on the bed and sat down on the bed itself.

Hayden woke up in an unfamiliar, yet very comfortable bed. He looked around and saw two empty beds, four blank walls, a door, two windows, chest, closet, desk, and various other objects. Suddenly, the entire room burst into roaring, sizzling flames. Hayden let out a scream, and then awoke, sitting straight up still sweating from the heat of the fire. He had been having this nightmare each night since he first awoke at Kasvisto Academy. He had no idea why he has been having this dream, but then again, he felt like he does not know anything about anything, anymore.
Hayden had talked to the professor of the Academy a few days ago, after waking up in a strange bed. The professor, naming himself as Professor Hiel, explained that the Academy had saved Hayden, saved him from his past and that he need not worry about any of that for now. This advice helped Hayden not at all with his nightmares, however. Hiel continued to explain that the Academy was a school for "gifted" teenagers, a school that would help shape their powers. While Hiel was talking, Hayden could not help but notice that Hiel looked quite comparable to himself- dark hair, thin, with a quiet voice.

For hours upon end Hayden would pick wars with his bedroom, watching an army of thumbtacks from inside the desk launch themselves victoriously at the evil bedposts.

All of the voices were incoming with the same thought about some hot red-headed girl. Getting a headache from all of this brain-noise, Hayden decided he would suck it up and go outside his room to see what this was all about.

As Marni walked towards the actual building of the school across the grounds, she seemed to pay no attention to everyone around her. She was examining the surroundings of the school. There were lots of trees... lots of grass, leaves... flammable things, that she could easily set fire to if she wasn't careful. Though she knew there wouldn't be much of a chance of setting fire to anything, since it was a rule to not use your powers during school, she knew that she would probably be breaking it often, again and again. Using her fire to heat things, light them, etc. was a part of her daily life.
She managed to shake these thoughts from her mind as she headed towards her dorm, occasionally stopping to ask for directions. Once she finally made it there, she saw that someone else- her roomate, apparently- had already moved their suitcase into there. She saw her own two small suitcases sitting in a corner of the room. She walked over towards the bed that didn't have someones things on it and sat her bag down on it, quickly turning right back around to exit the room. She planned on talking with plenty of people, and making as many friends as possible on the first day.
After leaving her room, she continued to walk around in the hallways, with the occasional 'Hello', or 'Good morning'from other students, and people who obviously worked there.

"Woo Hoo!" He yelled as he boarded down the mountain. "Uh oh." Max said as he saw the snow end and a bunch of rocks approching him at a very fast pace. "Oh not good." He said and kicked on the back of the board which made it float above the rocks. "Sweet!" He screamed and grabbed some air on a large ramp like rock. "Nice!" He said and did a slow-mo front flip. His board hovered back over the rocks and pushed some dust off of the ground.

Sabella turned to Trevor. "My name is Sabella. Not Isabella. There is a huge difference. One has an 'i' one doesn't" she smilled. Peaple were always saying, 'oh, hello Isabella!' and it was quite annoying. "but you can call me bella or bell." she shrugged. " and sure, I"ll come with you."

Once he was done unpacking, Adrian headed out of his dorm and quietly walked outside the school building. He went to the back where nobody seemed to be at. He grabbed a branch with one hand before swinging himself up. The shade sure was nice. Adrian sat there, playing around with a small branch that was above him. A bird landed, just a few feet away. He stuck out his hands, letting the bird land on his fingers with a small chirp. It was weird how animals liked him. Adrian smiled before letting the bird fly off.
He looked down, a small breeze blew over him. He didnt understand why they couldnt use magic outside of class. That wasnt fair... Well sure they can hurt each other, but some used it out of hobbies or such. He liked messing around with water and ice once in a while. Adrian sighed, having a strange feeling he was going to break a lot of rules.

Name's Trevor and this lovely red head, beside that guy that looks just like me, is Sabella. She'll explain the rules to her name once you introduce yourself." Trevor continued on to the hallways with the dorm rooms. "Ten rooms, huh?" Suddenly there were ten Trevors and each one with a key heading to each of the doors. There was a door that was open but he checked anyways. "Only one way to know" stated one of the duplicates. One after another the doors were locked D11 opened his door.
"Got it" said D11. "Room 10"

He smirked, "As if I would mind that," he thought to himself with a chuckle and the duplicates chuckled as well. "Great minds, right?" Trevor passed each of the duplicates and absorbed them one after another.

She held out her hand for Sabella to shake not really miding if she did or not. These two seemed interestng.

I'll try to summarize as best as I can since my summery skills are garbage. XD
We started out by entering school grounds for the first time. It was pretty hot outside and almost everyone was complaining about that. Some of us quickly went inside to look for our dorms and just chill out (I think it was Seth, Niko, Hayden-though he was there the whole time, Suzie too, sorry if I missed someone or added someone). Others just lingered around outside, in front of the academy. Trevor split himself up (Refer to character list) and sent some of his doubles to try and make friends or enemies. He commented about some students just going straight to their rooms instead of trying to make friends. He introduced himself to...I think it was Sabella, I'm not sure (Aren't I reliable?) and asked if she wanted to go to his dorm room with him.
Anyway, Alistair was just hanging out in a tree with a bird all by his lonesome. Niko was being awesome by introducing himself to his roommate while smoking and I think drinking Vodka or Alcohol (Seriously, I liked this character ever since he did this), Trevor made his doubles split up and look for an empty room, and Suzie was taking a look around as a cat (Refer to character list) and walked into Seth's room while he was doing weird stuff to his laptop.
Seth noticed the weird cat when it jumped on his bed and petted it, thinking that it was just a normal cat with a blue path on its nose and that the school probably just broke the rule about animals being allowed on school. Suzie changed back into her human form, introduced herself and left the room while thinking that he would be fun to mess with or something like that. Seth that the she would probably be annoying later on.
Suzie left the room and walked into the hallway to see Trevor, his doubles, and Sabella standing in the hallway. Seth left as well, walked into the hallway, and joined them. We all introduced ourselves as well as said our powers.
Trevor made up the idea to have a little party outside and to find a lake to swim in. We agreed. Suzie left to go to her room, take a shower, and get ready. Seth left to search for a computer lab (It's kind of obvious why he wants to find one...with his power and all) and said that he'd go back to his room in 30 minutes to change and stuff. Trevor went with Sabella to look for a lake since Sabella can sense water nearby.
While all this was going on, Max was snowboarding (I know he was on a board) his was towards the school. He used his barriers (Refer to character list) as a sort of ramp or something to...jump on? Sorry if I screwed that up. He made an epic crash landing in front of the school. This is where he met Marni. She helped him up from his fall and they introduced themselves as well as said their powers.
Seth was walking in the hallway while listening to his iPod and saw that he had songs on his iPod that he probably accidently illegally downloaded from his laptop and probably involuntarily used himself as a sort of link between his computer and his iPod. Yeah, he probably needs to control his power better.
Seth bumped into Adrian, who was looking around the school for his classes and they introduced themselves.

Ahh, I was thinking about something just like this for this roleplay the other day, but I kept forgetting to say anything about it. Haha. But, yes, I was thinking there would be a room or two about twice the size of the dorm rooms (Depending on how big you consider each dorm to be), with television, computers, etc., and possibly even a small kitchen, since a student could easily get caught up in something else, and miss one of the meal times.

I don't know if anyone's going to look here (Hopefully someone does) but are there any entertanment rooms in the dorms? You know, some place with computers, tv, maybe a kitchen to store snacks maybe-though that might be a bit redundant with the 3 meals a day thing.
