The moon, the feared celestial object, the maker of insanity. The single light in the night sky, the light that rains down destruction on the unlucky victim's psyche. Lora was fascinated with this object of destruction. The one mystery yet to be explored, the one mystery yet to be solved. She was a sherlock holmes in the making, a fanatic for unsolved mysteries, a raving fan of danger and adventure. She was also a queen of troublemakers, and is currently running from a man she had just knocked in the head with her walking stick. She loved the thrill she got from knowing that if she was caught punishment would be severe. People call her crazy, she didn't think so, she was just...intellectually warped. Not insane, just different, very different. She was laughing as she ran by people whom shook their heads at the sight of her, she didn't care. Nor did she care when she ran into a dead end alley, there was no such thing as a dead end for her. Lora just put her walking stick in front of her and jumped into it. Using her upper body strength she pulled her feet up and over the wooden wall, bringing her staff with her.

When her feet hit the bottom she fell on her butt and continued laughing, there was nothing like the high of adrenaline in a tense situation. Picking herself up she walked back into the streets making her way for home, soon it would be time for dinner and she wasn't gonna linger any longer.

"Full moon tonight", Rowan read from a sign that served as a bulletin board. She did not care, though. She was only one of a few people that worked in the wooded area of Luna Terra, and the only one that dared stay outside past sundown. She lived for the thrill of the night now, and even stayed up past bed time just to gaze at the white ball in the sky. She chopped several loads of wood that were to be trucked elsewhere, and loaded them into the sorter.

Terrin looked up into the sky. "Why do people fear the moon?" He wundered to himself. A soft breeze ruffled his hair and cloaks. He deftly jumped down from the roof on which he had been perched. He set off into the dark night, looking for adventure, looking for some fun. Terrin often took lte night walks like this, He had little intrest in old fairytales, which was all that hoo-ha about the moon was anyway, as far as he was concerned. He walked quickly, his foots steps echoing loudly thoughout the silent town.

Derik walked slowly down the street, heading home. His parents got worried when he wasn't home before dark, especially on the night of a full moon. They would constantly be reminding him that he needed to be home IMMEDIATELY when it turned dark out. They didn't care about his brothers though, they could do whatever they wanted. He wanted to be like them, not like he is now, all cooped up in the house at night. Still, he needed to get home for supper anyway, so he was still going to go home.

When Lora got home she fixed herself a nice plate of smoked fish, not her favorite but when one is starving they will eat pracitically anything. She ate quickly she didn't want to miss the sunset and then the moon's great appearance. Lora couldn't wait, she just knew that tonight would be the night she figured out the secret of insanity. She would of course wear a cloak...just in case, she didn't want to actually go insane, so she would keep her skin and eyes from basking in the moonlight. Lora reached into a closet and pulled out her black cloak, she hoped that it would protect her from insanity, but if it doesn't who would really care.

Terrin walked into the forest. Another forbidden action he indulged himself in. "Hello! Evil monsters!" He called laughing. "I hope you dont mind, but I'm going to steal somemore of your wonderful raspberries once again." He bent to pick up a basket he kept in a stump for that purpose. Humming happily, Raspberry sweets on his mind.

"Quittin' time" Rowan said as she walked home. She wasn't going to stay inside tonight, though; she had clothing all picked out for tonight when she'd investigate what made the townspeople insane. She wore a thick sweater, a dark cloak, large boots, and sunglasses. She took her axe with her, just in case something came for her.
