Introduction

EDIT!!!!!!!!
Hey guys be checking the OOC thread please!
EDIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Survival of ze fittest. It is ze simplist law of nature, no? Ze strong live, und ze veak die. Claiming zemselves to be ze dominant species of ze land, ze beasts known as homo sapien seem to believe ze can ignore zis law. Ze take advantage of mother nature's kind heart, und struggle amongst themselves for domination not only of zere own race, but of ze vorld vich has allowed zem to live. I believe it is time zat humans vere reminded just how fragile ze truely are. I believe it is time for a new dominant species."

Science. Logic. Rational. These are the foundation of the human world. Everything can be explained through the natural order, or so they would like to believe. But every now and then, something happens, something that cannot be explained. Label it how they would, mutation, evolution, deus ex machina, but the simple fact remains. Not everything can be explained through the tried and true rational humans are so attached to. They may not know it, they may not understand it, but the winds of change gust strongly across their precious world. Something has happened. Something has caused the ordinary to become extraordinary.

A select few humans experience this change directly. They become what science cannot explain. They become paranormal, super-natural, perhaps even godlike. It is a strange phenomena the world has yet to become aware of, but a new breed of homo sapien walks among the "normal" humans. They boast fantastic powers others can only dream of, perhaps a gift from a higher power, perhaps a simple twist of fate. Whatever the reason, the choice is yours: Do you use your gifts for the good of all, or to advance your own dark ambitions?

The world changes goes on forever but never stays the same. People grow change and no one fully understands why and most don't even know that it's happening around them. Those that do don't even fully understand how. Several people have popped up though out recent history to possess unique 'talents' that are beyond what most normal people understand. Super Heroes, Villains, Gifted, Talents, Mutants, Freaks, all just mean one thing, not like them. Some of the Talents decided to hide their power living in society completely normal, others it tears them apart inside till there's nothing left of them. Few of them chose to develop their power themselves with out any reason then then they can.

Kathrin

It was raining tonight not unlike the weather for most fall days in the city. An old neon sign light up the window of a small corner bar. OPEN flashed on as a young woman walked back over to the counter. Kathrin had own this Bar for 2 years now bought it when she was 21 with the money that she saved working the odd job here and there. The world as most people knew it was a thing far from her mind as she began cleaning down the bar counter. She wore a black blouse with black pants the name Chaos Night in silver over her left shirt pocket.

Yawning a bit Ka looking at the clock, 7:09 he was late again go figure lazy boy was probably slacking off some where for all she knew. The red haired girl looked over at the candles that lit her bar keeping they kept light low but enough to see what was going on. She moved over grabbing her remote controller and turned on the local news station. Flash Floods and Damaged cars appeared on the screen she rolled her eyes a bit and turned the channel to ESPN4 Where there was a local football game on knowing that was much more appealing to guest then the news. She looked back out the window at the rain swearing a bit to herself. She hated the rain glad she didn't have to walk home in that. As the clock ticked on and no costumers entered she got a bit board pulling out a book she kept a lot of her notes in she began organizing her thoughts on a blank sheet things she needed for the bar mainly a shopping list she had every intention on making her /late/ employee go and get for her either tonight or tomorrow really what was taking him so long.

Rakka

Rain. It wasn’t his favorite type of weather, by any definition. Rain made it twice as hard to find a good place to sleep at night. Still, he thought to himself, it’s not as bad as snow. It hadn’t been raining the night before when he arrived in the city, and so he had made himself quite comfortable out under the clouds. He would probably end up somewhere down in the subway system tonight, when all the bars shut their doors and it was time to find shelter. Then again, if he got lucky, he could always end up in a warm bed, instead.

From even before the shops had opened in the morning, he had been out submitting resumes. A new city or town meant new employment, after all. There was always a position to be filled somewhere in a city on temporary placement. Every part of a city needed early-morning laborers that didn’t mind getting paid under the counter. Docks needed hands, construction needed crews, trucks needed loaders, shops needed un-loaders, offices needed runners, and countless food service centers needed preparers. One bakery fed him breakfast after he spent an hour helping them load bread into the ovens. As the day wore on, there were different sort of positions that might need filling, though he was less likely to find an ideal arrangement. Those were businesses that needed things like proof of identification, proof of eligibility to work in the United States, and liked to pay their employees in check format. Things he was not well equipped to work with.

Therefore, instead of wasting his time, he did what he always ended up doing when he entered a new territory; he scouted it out. It often took a couple weeks to do a thorough job, and more than a month on a city of this particular size if he wanted a firm grasp on both the day and night elements of every sector, but he could at least get started. When he got hungry, he ate at a busy intersection and watched the flow of both pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Every now and then he would answer a call from one of the places he had scouted in the morning. By five o’clock in the afternoon, he had five test shifts following week; more, if and when he fulfilled the expectations of his tentative employers.

Such employment, however, wasn’t the bread and butter of his stay in a city. To be honesty, he wouldn’t work at all if he didn’t need to, and it wasn’t housing that drained his wallet. It was food. His apatite went beyond the realm of ‘healthy’. The same Talent that healed him so quickly and regenerated his cells caused him to need enormous amounts of food by traditional standards. Most of that diet was meat based, as well, and meat was never cheap, especially when he didn’t have a place to store and cook it. Now that it was evening, it was time to hunt down more stable employment than sporadic early morning labor, and it was in bars, pubs, and nightclubs that he would find it. At a local print shop, he printed off several copies of his other resume. The one that enumerated all of the many bars, pubs, and nightclubs he had worked staff at in the past, primarily as a bouncer. Almost all of them had attempted to bribe him into staying on longer.

So it was a Rakka in boots that his feet hated, a belt that felt alien, and a plain, tight-fitting black t-shirt that made his skin itch that prowled around that evening and entered a number of different establishments as they opened up. It was one thoroughly soaked, but recently well-fed Rakka that made his way into Chaos Night not long after it opened its doors at seven, though he wore the look well. He had already hit up the pubs and a few of the bars. Night clubs wouldn’t open until a bit later, and there was something about this particular establishment that appealed to him from the moment he opened its doors. The place was still quiet, and he gave a friendly smile to the lone ginger working behind the counter.

“Evenin’ Ma’am,” he stated, lightly husky voice well-flavored with southern drawl, “Ah wus wonderin’ if yuh might have uh position of employment available. Resume’s available ‘pon request, uh course.”

It was 5:23 in the evening. The only people walking the streets were the people who “worked” and lived there. At times they seemed to be the walking dead, moving about like there was nothing to live for. In the darkest alley, where many crimes have taken place, is where a dark shadow stood. The figure stood 5’7” in a dark long trench coat; all that can be seen was steam from the person’s breathing. The figure just stood there in silence watching, waiting. Suddenly a group of three men walked down the alley after noticing the figure.
“Hey buddy. Whatta you doing out here?” one man asked.
The figure just stood still, frozen like a statue.
The men glanced back and forth between each other. “What’s with you dude?” another asked.
Again, no response. The figure stood there with its head down, hiding their face.
The biggest and what looked like the leader of the group laughs and push his cohorts to the sides to step right in front of the figure. “That’s a nice coat you’re wearing.”
“Come on Stan lets go.” One of the men said.
“But this here fella was offering me his coat. It’s really nice of you. It looks like it would fit me perfectly.”
“Stan you’re twice his size, there’s no way that’ll fit you.”
“So.”
The figure slowly lifts its head. Its face was drenched in darkness and all that could be seen was a smirk.
“Well hand it over.” Stan said, but the figure just stood there. “I said, hand it over!” he yelled as he stepped forward to grab the coat. But the figure just moved to the side and the man fell onto his face breaking his nose. The man screams holding his face as blood gushed between his fingers and down his chin. The man’s friends helped him up. “You’re dead. You hear me you are dead!” as he pulled out a knife. There was a flash of light and nothing else. Nothing could be heard because of the sounds coming from the cars driving by. The shadowed figure walked out of the alleyway, pulling on black leather gloves, leaving the three men pulverized.

Isaac

Darkness had fallen and the rain made this part difficult. Isaac had received his newest mission and was told that in order to get there he would have to be "dropped off". The door of the plane is thrown open and he is given his signal, one last check of the gear and the drop commander tells him one last time its a forest use the night vision to find a clear enough point. The "halo" drop has become Isaac's specialty after years of practice so he wasn't worried about the outcome. The syndicate uses these drops in order to keep their operatives working without the local authorities being any the wiser. The trip down takes less than 10 seconds and he lands without a problem. Isaac stows his parachute and consults his communication device.

"So let's see", he begins, "in order to get to the city I need to go to the west 2.3 miles. Pith to TC, insertion complete."

Isaac starts making his way towards the city while he is transmitted the rest of the specifics of his mission.

Ka looked up as she heard the door open. SHe opened her mouth to scold the man she thought was walking though the door. When she saw it wasn't him she smiled. "Welcome to the Chaos night." She put on a cheery smile and put a glass on the counter. She moved over to the end of the bar and walked out as he began speaking.

Ah wus wonderin’ if yuh might have uh position of employment available. Resume’s available ‘pon request, uh course.

She looked him up and over. "Well my associate isn't here yet though it's dead now it gets busy later on let me have a look at you." She began walking around him looking him over. "Few quick questions before i consider hiring you. I also would like your resume." She looked at him her green eye scanning him up and down the other covered by her hair it was styled up and out of her face save over her right eye. She took a step back from him standing a good deal shorter then him. "Alright you ever work for a bar before as a bouncer?" She began as she crossed her arms. "I can't pay you formally I hope you don't mind it will all be under the table and subjective to how well the bar does at night time however to make up for that you are welcome to a meal each shift here from the back. How does that work for you?" Pausing there she waited for him to respond before she looked over his resume.

He was accustomed to such inspections, his expression remaining neutral-friendly as the owner scopes him out. When she takes the step back, he unzips his duffel bag, pulling out a plain but well-treated resume protector. On rainy nights such as this, it paid to have water-resistant containers for things like important documents.

…How does that work for you?

His eyes had lit up over the course of her speech, and when he hands over a copy of his resume, there is a genuinely friendly smile on his face. Her terms were absolutely perfect. He could tell it wouldn’t be the highest paying position he’s ever held, but it was more than enough, especially considering the meal attached to it.
“Well, Ma’am, you could say Ah got uh bit o’ experience as uh bouncer. Quite uh bit, actually. T’be honest, yer offer is jus’ about perfect, from mah recconin’. Under th’table is jus’ what Ah was lookin’ for. Ah’m’a give yuh fair notice, though, Ma’am. Ah’m on th’move a whole lot. Ah’m not lookin’ fer any sorta permanent position, and Ah average ‘bout six t’nine months in any given location. Ah hope that won’t be uh big problem. Also, Ah’m uh Talent. Ah hope that won’t be uh problem, either.”

His resume detailed about as much, as far as the various dates on his employment went. It was simple and straight forward, just as his personality seemed to suggest, and when her eye eventually travels from the paper back to his face, his own red-amber eyes are earnest and ready to please.

# Chaos Night, 2011-03-22 13:09:37, as written by finitedreams
The month after summer graduation. September 22nd, 20XX. Most students had gone home at this point, grasping their fancy new degrees and spending a short while at home before making that final move, out into the world. They'd go on to get jobs, get married, get loans to pay for little white houses with white picket fences. Some of them would vote. Some of them would protest. Some small few would actually make a difference felt outside of the small towns they would settle in. Most, however, would live boring lives of routine and simplicity.

Triss was stuck in the top floor of a five star hotel, the entire suite to herself. One week was costing what she had paid for three month's rent, but her parents were footing the bill so she'd found the most expensive hotel in the entire city, and asked quite sweetly for their nicest room.

She'd been told she wasn't welcome home until the new year. Something to do with the "family business." Triss had been told, previously, that she'd be let into the business when she turned twenty five. Well, her brother had only just graduated high school, and HE was allowed home. Triss growled to herself just thinking about it. What the HELL was up with that?

Everything from her apartment had been moved into the hotel by a team of willing valets[1], so instead of the normal faux antique furniture that furnished this suite, it held her collection of glass and wood enviromodern coffee tables and chairs, her black leather couch, and wall hangings made out of closet organizers. If she closed her eyes, the only thing that gave away the fact that she wasn't still in her apartment right off campus was the slight sway of the building in the heavy wind.

Abruptly, Triss was moving, a right whirlwind through the kitchen, touching the kettle that had just gone off, a mug, a packet of tea - a long black leather trench coat seemed to fall into place on her arms as she held them up for an invisible dresser. Other small objects around the room vanished after her hand passed over them - a cell phone, a laptop, speakers, a roll of cellophane and tin foil[2] - and she was out the door, steam still hanging over the empty stovetop.

Triss was done with being alone in her apartment. She was going to find a bar, damn it, and be alone there instead!

-

After an hour or so of wandering along the street, ignoring the water that had quickly soaked her clothing, Triss found a bar that was to her liking. Pulling her purse out from under her coat, Triss clutched it and slid inside Chaos Night, nodding to herself when she saw that it was mostly empty.

After a quick trip to the bathroom, where Triss changed into dry clothing, she slid into a seat at the bar and tried to catch the bartender's eye, intent upon ordering some sort of soup and a pale ale.

[1] Most willing, seeing as Triss was quite generous with her tips comprising of hundred dollar bills.

[2] You never knew. Also, she had watched a McGuyver marathon last week.

The figure left the alley with the three men groaning. The figure started walking faster, heart beating like a humming bird’s. Abby hated leaving survivors with the chance to catch, but left them behind anyway. After six blocks and ducking into a vacant alley the figure pulled the hood of the sweat shirt off revealing a young woman in her late teens. She needed to catch her breath. Suddenly she is pushed up against the wall. Having trouble breathing she see’s two of the men who she gave a beat down earlier. ‘SHIT!’ she thought to herself.

“You’re going to pay for what you did to Stan.” The taller man said.

“WhAt? Is hE yOUr boyFriEnd?” the girl squaked.

The man squeezed tighter. “You don’t want to make me angry. You won’t like me when I’m angry.”

“ReAlLY? Now yOu’Re a gAy HuLk?” Abby wheezed. “YoU aRe tUrnIng GrEen.”

The man upper cuts her into her stomach, making the teen slump over into the man’s arms. The shorter man wanted a turn and the other man grabbed her around the shoulders and held her as the shorter man got a few punches to her jaw making the girl spat blood.

“Have anything to say to that, BITCH?” the taller man questioned.

“JuSt OnE ThINg.” She looked up smiling with blood dripping down her lip. “YoU woN’t LiKe ME wHen I’M aNGrY.”

The smirk on the two men’s faces went away when light started coming from her hands. Her gloves were off and what looked like blue lightning spheres were forming in her hands. The two guys smirked again. “A Taser how cute. You won’t be able to zap us this time.” The short guy said grabbing a wooden plank. “Can’t shock through this sweetheart,” he says as he swings what looked like a piece of crate toward Abby’s chest hitting it with a loud crack breaking the wood. The lightning appeared to be absorbed into her body and the girl fell to the ground.

The taller man started kicking her in the stomach when it started to rain. He rolled Abby over as she was coughing up blood. “Oh look Todd I think we broke her little toy.” He said picking the girl up off the soaked pavement. Suddenly there was a siren blare and the two men dropped the girl to hide from the oncoming cops.

Abby picked herself up and ran in the direction of an AM/PM holding her chest. She didn’t know if anything was broken but she was too afraid to go to a hospital. ‘Hospital asks questions.’ As she was faltering up to the little shop she saw the two men coming back for more. She had to hid and quick.

Abby stumbled into the AM/PM’s bathroom. Abby quickly bolts the door behind her making sure they couldn’t get in if she hadn’t been followed. Abby couldn’t get her hands to stop shaking as she limped over to the dirty, broken mirror seeing blood slinking down the left side of her face. Without even thinking she twists on the hot water and cups her hands under the steaming liquid capturing the water and throwing it up against her face, wincing when it hit her deep cut above her eye. Her breathing is staggered and heavy; she grips the sink tightly focusing all her energy not to lose control. Abby’s anger and hatred slowly melted away as fear and panic falls over her face. She slowly slips down to the floor and starts crying.

Suddenly she hears the two angry men asking the clerk if they had seen a woman in a black trench coat and her tears were put on hold. She heard their footsteps coming closer to the bathroom. Panicked, Abby looks around frantically for a way out. Abby could hear the banging of the restroom door, with the two men yelling for her to come out. She finally sees a window she should be able to fit through, she had no other way out so Abby decided it was her exit. By the time the men kicked down the door she had made it out. She put her hoodie over her face and walked toward the motels in the red district.
Paranoid that she was being followed she stepped up her hobble of a pace to get to her safe spot, her home away from home. The motel 6; 2 blocks away from the streets where drug deals and sex deals are made was where she felt the safest. She pushes past the gate into the junk yard behind the motel where the owner throws away the old mattresses, pillows, and blankets. She flops down on her made shift bed and lays there for a few minutes calming herself down. Wiping the last of her tears away, Abby stares up into the bright night sky, just watching the stars until she falls asleep.

"Well that was a nice walk" "Geez why do they always need to drop me so far out of the way"

Isaac arrives in the city an hour after his jump when he spots a figure running away from some pursuers. He decides to follow the chase and sees that the figure seemed to be in trouble and decides to intervene. He follows the group into the AM/PM and he listens as the men pound on the bathroom door. He formulates a plan quickly as he notices the figure slipping out the window. Isaac exits the AM/PM and moves down the street at a drunken looking pace. the men also noticed that the figure slipped out the window and they said "let's go get her". The men run out the door and topple over Isaac slightly down the street in the alley they saw the girl run through. The men say "hey stupid get out of the way".

"*hiccup* Well aren't you guys rude, you knock a guy down and call him stupid, the least you could do is get me a drink *hiccup*"

The men reply " you should just get out of the way we're busy" as they attempt to push back Isaac he speeds behind them and knocks one on the back of the head knocking him out almost instantly. The other stops trying to continue the pursuit and his jaw just drops. "What the hell just happened?!" the man raises his hands up in a fighting position. Isaac replies "Not only are you guys rude but weak and stupid as well." The man replies "come on you bastard i'll show you!!!". He swings and Isaac merely accelerates behind him and says in a mocking tone "your attacks are so obvious you couldn't possibly hit me" the man tries one more time to the same result but this time Isaac pulls out one of his knives and places it against the man's throat

"I think it's time for you to go now your friend will be awake in about an hour your don't even deserve a warrior's death. Now, GO!" The man pulls his friend onto his shoulder and runs away from the alley as fast as he could. "Well that was fun" Isaac says sarcastically "now lets go see what that was about." He finds where the girl went behind the run down motel marks the location and decides to have his contact meet him here to give him his city supplies (apartment key, False Resume, Some money to get him started and used to the currency, etc).

"Pith to TC change the rendezvous point to this location, witness count is in acceptable levels and no LEOs to be seen."

"Roger Pith, location accepted ETA with contact 35 mins, TC out" within the 35 mins the contact shows up and drops off the packet with all the information he needs to the common passerby it most likely just looked like a drug deal which is a common occurrence in this district. Contents of the packet include currency for this location a false resume showing work in bars and pubs, and an apartment key with details of a fully furnished apartment in Little Italy that has been rented in his name as well as all proper documentation to be in the city and drive a vehicle. Isaac returns to the other side of the hotel to find the girl fast asleep and as he walks to an outcropping of junk to sit on he accidentally gives her mattress a little shove.

Abby heard a distant sound above her head. She thought she was dreaming so she ignored it. Then she felt the old, dirty mattress move from side to side. ‘Earthquake?’ she thought. She opened her eyes to see a very tall young man with silver hair and red-ish eyes. She didn’t know who he was or how he found her, although that was a stupid question this was a spot she normally went to; but she wasn’t going to stick around to find out. “Who the hell are you?” She eyed him up and down waiting to hear his answer. She slowly got into fighting position without being to suspicious of it and started to charge her powers in her right hand.

... and started to charge her powers in her right hand.

Isaac

"Woah there girlie ... hold on just a moment I mean you no harm" he says as he gets on guard.

"I was just passing by earlier and saw that you were in trouble and Just wanted to see how you were doing and get your side of the story"

He tries to keep his voice in a friendly manner as he monitors the girl for any sudden movements that might seem like an attack and one hand reaches for one of his knives hidden on his lower back. His focus is on the girl's glowing right hand.

"Besides its not polite to ask who someone is without first revealing your name"

Abby didn’t know what to think. The man seemed friendly enough but he was reaching for something. She started to feel pain in her right arm. ‘Charging was a bad idea.’ She thought as the pain became hot and started growing up into her shoulder. She couldn’t release it without him pulling his weapon on her and she couldn’t absorb it either. She knew she could turn it off she had done it before when she desperately needed to prevent herself from killing a child a year ago, but it wasn’t seeming to work this time. ‘Damn.’ She needed a way to get rid of the burning before it killed her or he did.

Abby could feel her arm pulsing like fire was in her veins. It was getting too close, she had to do something or one of them was going to die. He seemed like a good man so she decided that she would have to absorb it and hope he would help her. Her vision started to blur as the pain reached her already aching chest. Abby didn’t know how much she could hold on. Her knees started to buckle as she absorbed her own electric energy. Falling to the ground she could feel her heart slowing. She thought he called to her but all she could focus on was the scorching pain now in her chest and head. It seemed like it was all in slow motion as she hit the ground blacking out, her heart stopping.

The Girl collapsed before him. He immediately pulls his hand away from his weapon and he gets down to the girl's side he feels for a pulse but finds none. Immediately he turns the girl's body over and begins CPR. While trying to perform CPR he accesses his phone through voice commands and starts an internet search to find out what the area around the heart is like in order to try and use his ability to jump start it by using his ability. He begins thinking to himself while he is performing CPR asking 'who is this girl? What was he doing? Why was he helping this stranger? and had he already made contact with his first talent in this city?' Isaac checks her pulse and feels it faintly coming back and he decides that she needs to get to a doctor but not a city Doctor.

He sits back as she slowly wakes up when he says in a friendly tone "almost lost you there it it doesn't matter who you are at the moment but i'm going to take you to a doctor and if your worried about them asking too many questions don't be, the doctor is paid extra money just to not ask questions." His tone becomes slightly more serious and he continues, "Well what do you say will you go the easy way or the hard way?"

Abby’s eyes slowly opened. Her vision was blurry but could make out a figure hovering over her. He had saved her. Abby felt like an idiot for not trusting him. The burning pain was less but still present. He had asked her a question but she couldn’t remember it. All she was able to say was, “thank you”. Then her vision slowly came back and his question came back to her. "Well what do you say will you go the easy way or the hard way?" She smiled. “I’ll go.” She said weakly. “As long as we get some food afterwards.” She adds as she puts out her hands to be helped up.

(this belongs pre tess post rakka but i goofed)
Kathrin

As he talked she looked over his resume seemed to be all in order. She walked back behind the counter and put the resume down on the counter by the register. "You don't stay around here to long that's fine with me as long as you give me at least two weeks notice before you leave. You just up and vanish it won't look good." She smiled up at him. "Other then that I think this will be just fine." She headed to the back for a moment and walked back holding a shirt. "You look to be about a extra large maybe a double here try these on what ever one fits wear it to work and make sure you wash it before your shifts especially on Sunday nights when football is on the bar gets packed." She said. "SO it's pretty simple just take it easy it's dead now but if there's any trouble I'm counting on you to handle it."

She turned from him and went back behind the bar pulling out her book again as she continued righting a few things she scratched out something on there with a pleasing smile on her face. "So Rakkarus right welcome to Chaos night." She smiled as a few guys walked in to the bar. Ka perked up as she put on a great smile. "Welcome in guys what can I do you for?"

The two men took off their coats and hats sitting at the bar ordering up a few drinks. Ka went right to work on getting them set up every now and then looking up at the door waiting for it to open. They began talking gripping about work and the weather to Ka who just smiled offering a sympathetic ear.

" You just lay there for another minute or two while I find out where we're headed I just got here haven't read my packet yet" he says while he reaches into his coat pocket and pulls out his large envelope.

He helps the girl over to the mattress she was laying on earlier and has her lay there to recover a bit of her strength. He leafs through the packet and finds out where the doctors that are loyal to the syndicate are located as well as finds out where he will be staying.

"Huh, I apparently have an apartment in Little Italy and my name is Isaac Masters. Speaking of names I never did catch your's", He says with a smile that to most people would seem genuine, "I mean I can't really keep calling you Girlie or kiddo so what are you called? Also is there any other information I should know so that we stay out of trouble." He listens to her response as he keeps flipping through his information packet he adds the enclosed wallet into his pocket and takes the key to the apartment and the flash drive with the resume the rest of it he sets on fire and destroys.

"Well now that that is over with if your ready to go our destination is Little Italy. Let's go" He extends his hand down to help her up and they take off towards Little Italy.

As the new girl popped in and changed in the restroom Ka smiled putting a glass up on the counter. She noticed quickly that she came out in different cloths then she has gone in before. Smart girl bringing dry cloths when it's raining so hard. She put on one of her best smiles. "Evening, What can i do you for?" She asked moving the glass in front of her and placing a napkin with the logo of the bar on there. She looked the girl over and grabbed a menu from under the counter. "We don't got a lot of food here but you look like you could use some." Her eyes drifted to the door now and then wondering when her late employee would be here she had a few things she needed to get dome in the back.

He had asked for her name again. Abby at first was hesitant. But his smile calmed her nerves. ‘Trust him.’ A voice inside her head said. So she did. “I’m Abby, Abby Raiden. I’m not in any data bases except for running from my orphanage nine years ago. I’m unknown to police that I know of and I don’t have any records since I was eight. Other than that it’s what you see. Other than I’m a freak there isn’t really much to know.” She said holding her true identity a secret.

"Well now that that is over with if you’re ready to go our destination is Little Italy. Let's go" He extends his hand down to help her up and they take off towards Little Italy. She wondered why anyone would willingly go into Little Italy unless it was for food or dirty business. She hadn’t heard many good things coming out of that part of the city. Of course the Red District wasn’t any better. She chuckled at her thought. ‘Who am I to judge,’ she thought. ‘I lived on the streets for nine years I don’t really know the good from bad anyways. I should be locked up myself.’ She looked up at the young man again. He seemed older than he appeared. She knew he had seen things, both good and bad things.

“You ask a lot of questions.” She replied. She didn’t know how much information she felt comfortable telling him. She thought about what to tell him as he helped her walk. “First I don’t know where or who my dad is and as second my mom was arrested when I was two and I was put into an orphanage cause that was the only place to take me at the time.” She said. “And third, well I’ve been better.” She smiled. “I guess let’s just say my body doesn’t do well with the near death experiences.” She looked back up at her savior, “So what’s your deal?”

"Yeah I guess I do ask a lot of questions but in my line of business I've learned to try and get as much information as possible. Does it make you uncomfortable?" He tries to skirt around the question she asked and hopes that she would forget it for now. "Just hold on for another minute or two the doctor is just around the corner."

The two of them arrive at the address specified and notice that there isn't a doctor's office there and Isaac realizes that the address they were going top was an apartment to begin with. "Well this is the place time to wake up the doc"

He knocks on the door until he sees a light turn on inside the apartment. At this point time happens to be late at night around 22:00 The doctor comes to the door and sleepily asks "Who's bothering me at this time of the night? Go away it's the middle of the night" Isaac responds "The person who is waking you lives in the shadows and wants to get out of the light." The doctor quickly opens the door and says "Get in, Quickly. Were you followed?" Isaac replies "Who do you think I am of course I wasn't followed." Doctor replies "alright I haven't seen you around here before why do you need medical assistance after only being here for a short time?" "Well I'm not the one who needs the assistance, she is." Isaac continues, "Take extra care as well she may be a talent, now go get your kit."

"So Abby I'm guessing That with a back story like yours you don't have a nice place to stay for the night. After we are done here would you like to stay over? I'm not sure how big the apartment is but your welcome to stay."

Rakka

He accepted the shirt with grace. On the one hand, a dry shirt would be much better than a wet shirt. On the other hand it would still be a shirt. Seeing as he could hardly hope to work shirtless in most environments, he was prepared to make that sacrifice. He nods at her instructions, having experience in such things. Honestly, he was a bit surprised that Ka hadn’t bothered to ask him anything about his Talent, though he found her seeming lack of curiosity refreshing.

So Rakkaras right welcome to Chaos night.

“Erm, Jus’ Rakka’s fine, Ma’am, and thanks!”

Tipping an imaginary hat to his new boss, he takes new shirt and duffel into the men’s room to change. As he expected, the shirt was a bit snug across the chest and shoulders, but loose about the waist. It gets tucked neatly into his belted jeans, and the wet shirt gets placed into the water-resistant side section of his bag. Exiting the men’s room, he goes to work, claiming a spot within the bar that he can easily watch most trouble zones. Later, he would make rounds, spending a bit of time in multiple areas, but a dead bar didn’t need much work. So, instead, he mostly paid attention to his new boss-lady. She would be one of his key assets later on, so it was best to learn her body language while it was slow and he was new.

How she, and later, other wait staff, greeted patrons would clue him into what he might expect from various customers, especially ones he couldn’t immediately mark as trouble. Like most dogs, he would swiftly learn to tell who his boss already knew, and who they were friendly with. More importantly, he would learn even more swiftly who his boss knew would end up making trouble. Time would tell if trouble was more likely to come in the form of fights or harassment of the female staff. He was fully prepared to deal quickly and politely with both. Depending on how the evening went, he might bring up the usage of certain tools of the trade he had access too, but that wasn’t necessary at this point.

So he watched, and he waited. Dogs were good at that. Woof.

He didn’t answer her question which worried her a bit. ‘Maybe he’ll open up later’ she thought. “As long as there is food there.” She responded to the young man as the doctor took her arm and helped her into the apartment. Abby winced walking into the place. Her injuries were stiffening up and weren’t happy with her movement at all.

“So what’s wrong?” The doc asked.

Abby smirked, “Let’s just say I had an argument with three guys and a piece of ply wood.”

The doctor raised one of his eyebrows. “Alright then why don’t you go into that room and change and I’ll come give you an exam.”

Abby slinked into to the room the doc pointed out and closed the door behind her. She saw a gown laid out. ‘Weird it seems like he knew we were coming’ she thought to herself. But she just rubbed the thought off. She had trouble pulling her shirt off because she could barely lift her arms above her head. She stopped trying and decided that she would ask for the exam without the gown. She opened the door, “um I guess you need to do the exam with my cloths on Doc” she smiled weakly. The doctor nodded and followed her in.
