Introduction
Long ago, our planet of Acadine had two Gods watching over it. One of them was I, the goddess of all that is good. I ruled over Heaven; I would whisper words that would lead you down the right path, so you could reach me on the afterlife. The other was named Cerberus, the god of madness & Hell. He cared not for your wellbeing. Instead, he wanted to curse every moment of your life, so you too would become mad like Him. He wanted you to sin & become one with Him.
For many decades, we stood our ground & let you decide your own fate. Whether you leaned towards Heaven, where you could live in joyful harmony, or Hell, where you would suffer until the end of time. Of course, that was the initial plan…
I soon learned that each soul that Passed On was being captured by Cerberus. Not only that, but He would eat them once in Hell. They were His power source, which he waited to completely fill before obtaining full control of Acadine. He wanted everything; He was envious of anything he didn't have, even the power of Light. He was greedy.
I would have none of it, so we fought in a place called Limbo. It belonged to neither of us, because it simply wasn't one to be obtained… It was a very long fight. It lasted 100 days & 100 nights. & after so much pain, I won in the end. However, I didn't destroy Him completely; instead, I embraced Him & got rid of all His evil thoughts. I cleared Him of all His pain & sent Him down to Acadine as a newborn child. There, He lived a human life without the memories of what had truly happened. Now, He's up here with me, celebrating tranquil afterlife."
It has been one billion years since that occurred &, although there were many years of peace, Acadine has been faced with another problem. A new goddess by the name of Hecate. She made her presence known by sneaking past Oribelle & sending creatures, called Neesha, down to Acadine. Instantly, the two goddesses began to fight, which left neither of them any time to watch over how the beings down on the planet were doing. However, the heavenly goddess sent a message to all Her children whilst she fought. Through their dreams, She told them about Hecate, but reassured them all that She would defeat Her; She told them about the creatures of the night that were sent down towards them & most importantly, She asked all her Supernatural Children to emerge from the shadows.
"These creatures are also my children. They bear a soul like all living things & are able to help. They have the abilities to protect you all & defeat the Neesha. Please, accept them, for they are your equals."
When everyone awoke, they all instantly understood that it wasn't a dream of their own, it was a dream that they all shared. The humans knew that it was no longer a job for them, although many of them would still not give up, & the Supernatural Children knew that they were no longer secret.

◇;__Supernatural Children: the goddess may have called them that, but the reason was simply because there are so many of them. They can vary from elves to werewolves, from vampires to witches. In other words, you can play any mythical/paranormal/supernatural creature as long as you don't Godmod. [i. e "Kills you with one single eye glance."]
◇;__The Chosen: humans who were selected by Her in order to fight against the Neesha & were blessed with one single power as well as quick healing.
◇;__Neesha: creatures of the night that are very similar to the Supernatural Children. However, unlike many of them, they can only survive by eating either the souls of humans or their blood. They're all extremely beautiful despite what sort of species they are & also very dangerous. I don't mind if there's no one playing as one of them, but there has to be some around. What I mean by this is that you can just attach them to some of your posts. As in, fight or kill them. If you do want to be one of them, however, use the 'Supernatural' sheet. [If there's some of these, it would make things a lot more interesting.]
◇;__Oribelle & Hecate: they will both be controlled by me, but I will only give a small summary of what is happening to them every once in a while. However ~ if you of want to be one of them, please PM me about it.
◇;__Acadine: it's a planet that's a lot like Earth. It has water, land, humans, but also beings that were thought to be only existent in fairytales. The planet has different regions, different languages [although, you will all understand each other], different religions. It's very advanced, too.
◇;__Cein City: the largest city of Acadine, located in the middle of the entire planet. It has unusual architecture, but promising future for all who go there. It's rich & advanced in technology, but also has dark neighborhoods.
◇;__Firefly City: the second largest city, located on the sea. It's very prosperous & uses its technology to the fullest, making it a very bright & pretty place. Also, it's very luck, for its the least effected by the Neesha. The people there are exceptionally kind & always eager to help.
◇;__Kishima City: An asian-like city whose weaponry is high advanced compared to the rest of the world. It's also the most attacked by vampire-looking Neesha as well as demon ones. If one has been harmed so badly that there seems to be no hope at all, this city will prove otherwise.

UnderINK wrote:I based this review on the introduction and the characters so far in place. I think it's important to note that I'm rarely actively interested in roleplays because they tend to be poorly put together, and that in this case I was interested enough to read everything. I marked some things as proficient, such as character development, simply because they are good but could use a lot of improvement. Although the characters have a past and interpretable future (particularly one I would classify as advanced), they are not as well thought out or put together as they could be which may require them being played through time. I can see the potential for this roleplay being very post-apocalyptic feeling in its event sequence if more members joined, so it will be interesting to see where this goes.

Moments before, Estelle had been carrying a little boy back to his home. Everything had seemed normal, the usual when it came to a crumbling world, until she'd heard something behind her once returning to her original spot. Upon turning around, she was greeted by a pair of long, pointy teeth that glistened in the moonlight. & without a thought, she took off running. Her heart poured against her chest as fear ran throughout her entire body, igniting all of her nerves. It was when she turned around again that she noticed that the one that had scared her had been a small fairy-like creature. A Neesha.
For a moment, & only a moment, Estelle stopped running to laugh at herself. There were bigger things out there that could actually devour her, & the fairy-like creature was nothing compared to what she had seen before. However, that little naive thought had been swiped away by the look on the Neesha's face, one that didn't match the rest of its beauty: a large smirk that matched the blood thirsty glint in its eyes. That was all it took for Estelle to begin running again…
Back to the present, Estelle heard a malicious giggle. She took a breath & held it as she listened closely. Her eyes studied her surroundings carefully, knowing that the Neesha had gotten the best of her. "Peek-a-boo, I see you," was all the vampire girl heard before feeling a sharp pain on her shoulder. Her instincts didn't hesitate, so she grabbed at the thing & ripped it off of her body before chucking it at the brick wall that stood a few feet across from her. Then, she got up quickly & used her palm to crush the Neesha's tiny frame until the high-pitched screaming stopped & a crunch followed suit.
"What a sweet end," Estelle muttered without humor before wiping her bloody hand on her apron. She was upset that she was ridiculed by such a creature & that she'd, once again, used her body instead of her pistols to kill.
OOC Notes
It was a calm night, relaxed, slow. He peeked out the window of his first class seat, gazing with a pair of melancholy violet eyes towards the moon. It was full, and from so high up, it seemed so big. He let out a deep sigh and leaned back in the seat, it was comfortable, as most first class seats were of course, and far in the back, just as he liked it. The airship (plane? whatever they would be called in Acadine) was unusually empty for a flight of this kind. Taro was headed for one of the busiest cities in the world.
He needed to gather information. For a while now, it seemed as if Acadine was...screaming. He couldn't really describe it, but lately the grounds he had been so accustomed to wandering, had began to feel alien.
And then there were the Neesha. The bloodthirsty creatures that he's had the pleasure of running into on more than one occasion. His mother had never told him of such a creature, and she had more than three hundred years of life on the planet to recall from.
They weren't particularly fear inducing for him though, surely, he had fought many much more fearsome before, it was just the fact of where had they come from? that worried him.
"Mr. Murakami?" A stewardess called out to him, breaking the young man out of his whirlwind of thought. Taro looked up at her with a small smile, she was pretty. Curvy, long hair, tan skinned, very pretty he thought. "Would you like something from the menu?"
"Ah," Taro scratched at his cheek, thinking on it for a moment. "You all carry tonkontesu?" He asked as he reached for the menu, tucked in the net on the bottom of the seat in front of him, he casually flipped through the menu. The woman looked at him, in a sort of disbelief.
"Ramen? That's really..." She laughed awkwardly.
"What can I say, I like the classics. So?" He leaned over the seat, getting closer.
"I'll ask the chefs what they can do, maybe they can change up the spaghetti recipe." She shrugged, turning around from him.
"You do that..." He re situated his self in the seat, but not without letting out a sigh. "I didn't realize how long this flight was..." His stomach roared from hunger, "I really should have packed some snacks." He stretched his arms out wide, after a loud yawn, he rolled his head up to look at the ceiling. It was at that moment, a voice sounded over the intercom.
Attention all passengers, this is your captain speaking, we'll be approacing---
Suddenly, there was a loud explosion form far back in the ship, Taro thought it to be in the cargo hold. It didn't take long for the red lights to flash, and the alarms to sound.
"What the hell?" The white haired man unbuckled his seat and stood up. The entire first class was in an uproar, all a bunch of nobels not even used to being without their 'help'. "That...doesn't sound good." There were more horrified screams back in coach, he bit his lip.
"Dammit, this just screams Neesha." Taro sighed, stepping out into the aisle. "They sure know when to strike...I don't even have my weapons on me." A smirk however, was slowly creeping up on his face. "Good thing I'm headed for the cargo hold.

Most thought of Kishima city as the prefect piece of peace and tranquility with the rich petitioning to the city council for years to build a estate within this slice of history. But none of that mattered to the man clad in red armor and sanguine cloak who's sword and daggers were considered little more then display pieces by the fools of modern society. His steps were firm and measured the gait of warrior but the absolute silence they fell with suggested a dark occupation. Most shied unconsciously from this man as if afraid of him, a wise action although if they knew the truth behind this man in his ancient armor carrying ancient weapons perhaps they would have run instead.
A palatial estate done in white with blue roofs resolved itself from the mists as the man walked further down the walkway. A impressive looking facade it was obviously designed as a fortress but in these days it was odd to see an fortified house. After all warfare was hardly rampart nor did those foolish rich who lived in this city did soldiers target the rich. Standing outside in the standard robes of current city fashion were two brutes of men their hips adorned with enough firepower to lay waste to a whole platoon of soldiers. That silent stride carrying the man in red armor to them the brutes spoke a challenge.
" What color is the night sky brother?" One of them spoke his voice deep and menacing yet at the same time slightly quivering, the man in the red armor true story was known to him. The quiver in his voice the result of a common fear, all men no matter their words fear death.
" Sanguine my brothers." The man clad in that ancient red armor spoke in reply. His voice had a odd echoing quality to it as if two people spoke at once at the exact same time.
" By Shadow and Steel Welcome back home Brother." The other Brute spoke doing a masterfully job of hiding his fear as the man in the red armor walked past him the aura of death frightening even this hardened killer.
The man in red armor for his part paid them little attention after passing them, such things did not catch his attention anymore then the passing of fly. Once inside the true nature of the place was clear to see the weapons racks and training grounds, the screams of acolytes being tortured for their failures, and the scent of death and blood hanging heavy on the air marked it as the headquarters of assassins. This single building was responsible for shaping history. It trained individuals who ruthlessly enforced order through chaos and murder. Who dispatched problem individuals with swift death and ended wars with a single attack. To fight evil they worshiped it and became one with it and so they killed their mercy. They embraced damnation to hunt the damned all the mean while using the greed of humanity to fund their efforts.
Ignoring it all the man in red armor strode up the stairs to the very top floor it's austere nature speaking much of the man who sat before the open balcony gazing over the misty city of Kishima.
" So it is true what the Goddess Oribelle says, a doom approaches us born of her folly. How foolish she was to think by reforming Cerberus evil would be cleansed from this land. Cerberus at the very least was a known quantity something we all could live with expect the fool of whore Goddess. Evil deserves to be consumed by evil. No she is a fool and because of it we are all paying. Hecate is unknown to us, her motivates and desire anyone's guess.Oribelle must accept the fact evil will flourish no matter her attempts that all her and we can do is control it's spread. When she made us capable of sin and capable of virtue she created evil. Short of wiping every single being and herself from reality nothing we do will destroy evil...." And here the man in the white robe took a deep breath as if tired of it all. "Ren did any of Hecate's children talk?' He asked after a few moments of silence.
Ren as the man in the red armor seemed to be called answer with that same echoing quality to his voice only the man white robe showed no fear at it's nature." The ones I found did not, most seemed confused about their purpose let alone their Divine Mother. As a result I killed them all. All though one did taunt me telling me I would find out soon enough."
" Very Well then Ren keep searching one of them is bound to talk sooner or later. At the very least we can not allow these foul creatures to live." The man in the white robe spoke with a heavy sigh closing his eyes to signifying this meeting was over.
Ren with a short bow left the room running a hand through his shaggy black hair that framed the pale skin of his face. His long fingers and hand shared the same pale nature almost as if there was no blood flowing through his veins. Which was the truth, Ren's physical body was dead kept alive by his immortal soul bound to it. He was a Revenant a spirit brought back for a purpose although Immortal he wasn't alive but rather connected to both worlds. He couldn't die by viture of walking both worlds at once. But it was a hollow existence, a cursed existence his immortality brought by the blood and soul of an innocent child the only trade Death was willing to accept. But his curse also gave him power and a abilities beyond even the most powerful mortal. But every 100 years Death demanded a trade for his immortality, which meant another innocent must be killed in the prescribed manner.
The horror needed to fuel his existence was lost on this unfeeling assassin. His soul was as dead as his body. Mercy, Compassion, Humanity none of it mattered to him. Only the purpose of his existence, the goal he had been tasked with matter. People where merely tools to be used and discarded as needed. No such word as friend, no such word as love, nothing could live in a dead soul. To his eyes the world was nothing more then a dead lifeless garden. But even that was a feeling not entertained by this undead assassin.
His strides in the utter silence carried him out of that tower of assassins and past the walkways of the city. The sight and sounds of the city bursting with life. The pedllars selling everything from guns to flowers echoed loudest, the sight of young lovers waking hand and hand were everywhere. But this was ignored by this unfeeling tool of fate. Ren had died nearly 500 years ago now his body did the bidding of fate without falter but also without caring. His soul a black empty void he was incapable of caring.

((This is where the theme music sounds…Wipe it All Out, Taro’s Theme))
As the crowd steadily ran forward, towards the captain’s cabin, Taro proceeded to the back, in a steady, calculated fashion. Occasionally, a few of the kinder people asked him just what was he doing, but he would only smile and said it would all be alright.
“All this over one Neesha?” He laughed a bit, as he finally stood outside the chrome double doors to the cargo hold. As he got closer, they slid open, revealing thick clouds of pitch black smoked and a smell that could only be described as fire. The young man grimaced, he couldn’t see it. Unfazed, he held his left hand in the air, which was glowing with a strange green light.
“Garu!” And with than, a powerful spiral of wind erupted from his body and cleared the room of all smoke. Satisfied, he stepped forward, the Neesha was still nowhere to be found. Gingerly, his eyes scanned the area, but he must have been sleeping, because at that instant, a powerful blow sent him flying into the passenger’s lockers. The strange creature didn’t let up- it threw itself on top of the downed Taro, pinning him to the wall with a wicked grin that showed all of it’s teeth (err fangs).
“You have their smell! The smell of an elf…yet…you look like a human~!” It hissed, spraying a few drops of slob onto Taro’s face as it did. He cringed, trying to think of a way out the situation- he wasn’t physically powerful, even if he was, the grip of a Neesha was surprisingly strong. “What are you boy~?!” The Neesha cocked it’s head to the side, closing in on Taro’s face, as if it wanted to plant a kiss on him. Taro tilted his head back as far as he could to avoid its hot breath.
“Tch,” Taro grinned, a light bulb going of in his mind, he slammed his head forward colliding it against the Neesha’s and causing the creature to stumble backwards, holding its dome in pain. It yelped out,
“Damn you!” Still keeping an eye on it, he inched his hand to a locker directly above his own skull, his own. Quickly he twisted the combination in, and out came his equipment, one chokuto blade in a stylish gray sheathe, and two stunning silver pistols. Securing the blade in his back belt loop (it’s situated diagonally from there, it tends to brush up against the ground sometimes as a result) and taking a tight grip of both pistols, he walked up on the creature. It must have been a weakling, because the headbutt seemed to seriously hurt it.
“I hate using magic you know? I feel like it’s cheating. That said…I realize how bad it hurts your kind.” He smirked devilishly. “So I made these,” He draped his right arm casually over the Neesha’s shoulders, who froze up as a result of the man’s sheer confidence. Taro held up the gun in his left hand to the flickering lights on the hold’s ceiling. “These pistols fire off rounds of artificial magic—“ The creature’s eyes widened in fear. “Apparently, you’ve got a good idea of what that means in your head already…but I’ll show you, just to make sure.” Taro grinned in delight as he pressed the end of both pistols against it, the right against it’s head, and the left against its arm, and then, pulled the trigger. A mass of furious flames erupted from the right, and a dazzling stream of lightening from the other.
Taro left as soon as the screaming began, he hated that part.
((Track switch, Rose of May, Taro’s theme))
As the double doors slid shut behind him, he was surprised to see a mother and child standing outside, the boy, no older than five or six was looking up at him with big brown eyes filled with awe. In a somewhat showy display, he dispersed his firearms with a show of light (they appear in his hands with a sort of summoning magic, ironic huh?)
“Mister…did you beat that thing?” He asked, running up closer to him, Taro smiled to him warmly and patted him on the head. The young man looked towards the mother, who was smiling at him as well, tears in her eyes.
“We were so worried…we thought…well. His parents live in Kushima, I’m just his caretaker…this is the first time he’ll meet them…I thought we weren’t going to make it…thank you!” She smiled so hard all of the wrinkles on her face were showing plainly through her make-up.
“It’s nothing…really.” Taro nodded and waved, trying to walk off, he hated the thanks.
“But it is something! Not many would throw themselves in front of such a monster…it may have looked human, but we knew it wasn’t such! Please, Young Master Jenga’s parents are very wealthy nobles in town, I am sure they’ll want to thank you in person! Master…” She awaited his name, patiently.
“Murakami…Taro Murakami.” He flipped his scarf back over his shoulder coolly. The little boy Jenga grinned, grabbing onto Taro’s pant leg.
“Please Taro?! You have to come! So you can show me how you fight monsters!” Taro grimaced at the corner he was being pushed in.
“I can’t…I’ve got business to take care of…information to collect—“ His stomach roared, interrupting his protests, he never did get his ramen.
“Hehe, Taro’s hungry!” Jenga concluded. The boy’s caretaker smiled sweetly.
“I think so too Young Master. If it’s information you need, the Young Master’s parents are sure to be able to aid you, they are very well informed—“ Jenga chimed in again, jumping back from Taro’s leg and waving his arms in the air in a grand motion.
“Yeah! I heard my dad’s got a big palace with a bunch of monitors, and lots o’ books too,” Jenga paused, “…and lots of food too.” He grinned. Taro sighed.
Well…it couldn’t hurt…
“Fine…fine…I’ll come with you guys. Thank you.” He bowed in gratitude to their kindness.
“Young Master, you better get used to that gesture, you’ll be seeing it a lot once you’re in town.” She teased him.
“Sheesh!” Jenga blushed, embarrassed of his nobility.

Even deep in the forests, she had had to fight off two Neesha. The creatures worried her almost as much as they confused her. Why now? Yes, Oribelle had explained, but... What was their goal? Chaos?
As the last rays of light began to fade, Moriko sighed and slid down to the ground, her booted feet hitting the grassy hill without a sound. Pausing for a moment, she listened intently. When no sounds of life- besides the noises of a forest getting ready to sleep- reached her ears, she breathed deeply. Calming herself, she held her palms cupped before her.
The darkness of the forest was lessened as a bright, wavering glow blossomed. In her palms a tiny flame shivered. Smiling slightly, Moriko pulled her hands apart slowly. The flame stretched with them. Abruptly, she smacked both palms together. When she pulled them apart again, the fire was gone.
Grinning- long gone was the time when she couldn't banish the fire she created!- she knelt and began to construct a small pile of wood. Lighting it with a seed of magic fire, she reached into her belt-pouch, which contained several strips of dried meat. As the flames bit into the stack of wood, she settled down and began to chew a few pieces of meat, dozing off next to the embers of the fire soon after.

"Goddess," he murmured to himself, in thought whilst looking up at the sky. He wondered what was going on up there & as he did that, he couldn't help but also feel… odd. He had been given a power that normal humans couldn't possibly obtain on their own, but the reason why was completely unknown to him. One thing he understood was that She had done it with a purpose, but he also knew that there were other people out there that could probably use his power better than himself… Asher shook his head sharply as to not let his mind get away from him, for he had other things to do such as return back home to Cien.

Taro, Jenga and his caretaker (whose name turned out to be Sayako), walked casually through the streets of Firefly City. The very atmosphere of the city made his clothes uncomfortably damp, what with the sea air and such but the scenery was enough for him to forgive it. It was only his second time in Firefly, and the city was still as gorgeous as he remembered it. The old wooden walkways, buildings crafted in styles of new, technologically advanced ways, they made for an interesting contrast, one that he enjoyed. And then there were the lanterns of which the city no doubt received its name for. Their size and make were truly something to behold.
Not to mention the fashion, and the women that wore them. The outfits that they donned were very flattering. Taro and the others stuck out like sore thumbs in their clothes, Taro with his plaid suit jacket and jeans, Jenga with his hoodie and shorts, and Sayako with her button down and slacks. Well, actually, Taro typically stuck out with his eccentric dress this day in age.
“Sayako-San…where do Jenga’s parents stay?” Tasked her as they passed over one particular bridge that was blessed with an unobstructed view of the northern horizon of town. He looked at the gray haired woman, she smiled warmly and stopped her walk, causing the other two to follow suit.
“Heh…” The small brown haired boy grinned cheekily, staring at Taro’s currently blank expression.
“Right there…” She stretched out her bony arm, a thin finger pointed to a tall, golden building that stuck out from all the others of it’s like, far into the distant mist, for it was one of, if not, the largest in the city. Taro’s mouth dropped—he remembered them saying that Jenga was from nobility…but he didn’t really think much of it, seeing how everybody in town was nobility. But to think that Jenga was of such high standing.
Taro looked at the child with a hopeful gaze, He’s got a long way to go. The white haired traveler laughed. Two young girls passed by, shopping bags filled with goodies as they gossiped amongst each other.
Didja hear?
Hm? What?
Maki got her fortune told, she’s gonna have bad luck!
Seriously?!
Yeah…it’s been happening to a lot of people lately…
“What’s with the luck craze?” Taro turned back to Sayako, she looked troubled at his question.
“Well…you’ve heard about the town right? Everyone is lucky. It’s always been like that for as long as this city was standing…but recently…” Her voice trailed off, looking to the waters below.
“People have been getting unlucky…” Taro concluded, crossing his arms. Sayako nodded.
“Yes. It shouldn’t be anything…maybe they’re all just too superstitious…” She spoke as if she were trying to reassure her own self.
“Sayako-san…” Taro didn’t know what to say, it all seemed fishy to him, but he didn’t want to worry her. The mood grew awkward quick. Thankfully, Jenga’s obnoxiousness broke the silence.
“Hey Sayako! Can we look in there?!” The little boy was pointing excitedly to a seedy looking bazaar. Both adults grimaced at the boy’s taste in shops, however, they couldn’t help but smile.
“Fine, fine! I forgot this is your first time here Young Master,” She giggled, crouching down to get eye level with him. “Oh, Master Taro, you won’t mind will you?” She looked up at Taro, who was leaned back onto the guardrails of the bridge.
“Not at all.” He waved at them, giving them pass to go into the shop, he was too busy staring at the cityscape.
“Bad luck?” The mocha-skinned, beauty marked fellow frowned, causing his brows to scrunch up, and his mouth to contort itself. His intense thinking face was quite unattractive. “Ugh…more mysteries…this all is proving to be way too troublesome.”

Dahlia stood at the end of the street. She was at the end of the street of one of the "lesser neighborhoods" looking at a major street. The people rushed by, late for a meeting, eager to get home, rushing to an event. Sometimes Dahlia liked to just watch the people go by. She was leaning against a lamp post and playing with a coin, flipping it over and over again. It was her way of meditating in a city with not much green space to find center and balance.
Her keen ears told her someone was speaking nearby. She dissapeared back into the shadows, going further into the neighborhood no one goes in, eavesdropping on the two men. "Are you sure?" said a tall, thin elf who had cut his ears to disguise himself. "I'm sure of it, it was one of them" replied an elf who had clearly eaten far too much and was bigger round the most humans. The thin man sighed and rubbed his neck, "Well, what are we going to do? Its been a long while since we've been anything else but mere impostors". The big man nodded, "We have to protect this world, the people. We'll have to get back in shape". The big man smiled and shook his big belly. Dahlia wasn't sure what they were talking about. She knew if she showed herself they would be suspicious and might not tell her anymore, but she wanted to know what brought the looks of worry to their face.
Dahlia came out of the shadows like a figure in the fog and the two men turned, not happy. "Hello Dahlia, what do you want?" the man said her name like a slur. Dahlia ignored it, used to it, "What's going on, what has you two in a fuss?" The thin man scowled, clearly not willing to tell her anything, but the big man smiled, "Oh, just your kind acting up again!" Dahlia gave him a harsh look, "My kind? You are my kind, so elves are rebelling, or are you accusing me of playing on the wrong side again?" The big man smiled, "We all know you're a spy, no elf child is born with the looks of you." The both of them smiled, "If the troubles have started again, perhaps we will finally be allowed to flush you out!" The both laughed harshly and Dahlia turned and walked away quickly.
She hadn't the slightest idea what they were talking about and had only wanted to know so she may protect her own better. She sat in one of the forgotten ally ways and closed her eyes silent for a long time. There were times in her youth where she thought, maybe, the darker creatures would accept her, but she knew it would come at a price she would be unwillingly to pay. She raised her hand and made the shadows of the alleyway dance. Why did they hate her for that? Did they not seek the shade on hot days? Dahlia would do more sneaking to figure out what they were speaking of, but for now she wanted only to be alone.

“Taro look!” The young noble-to-be began to pull out each of his spoils, and yes, they were all as useless as the last, but that was the beauty of being young, you never know how useless things are, you just pick them up because you want them. “Pretty cool huh?” Jenga held up another item, this time, one that actually caught his interest. A sparkling blue butterfly pendant. Taro bit his lip, he felt his heart drop a bit.
“You know, I got one just like that,” Taro dug into his pocket, revealing a piece of jewelry just like Jenga’s. “It belonged to my mother…” Sayako looked at the pendant with great interest, causing Taro to frown. “Something wrong?” He asked, a bit coldly.
“N-no, not at all. It’s just…nevermind.” She reached into her pants pocket, pulling out a small rusty gold pocket watch. “I-it’s getting late, we should continue at once.” Sayako seemed flustered, however, Taro decided not to pursue it.
The white haired young man let out a small yawn stretching his arms high into the air as he did, he asked, “So what is it that Jenga’s family does?”
“They’re~ information brokers.” Jenga recited, as if he had rehearsed the words.
“Anything that goes in all of Acadine, they know of. Information is very powerful, even in times of peace, that is why they are so wealthy.” Sayako nodded to herself.

Instead replaced by the verdant and ageless forests that surrounded the city in a cloak of trees. Here the nature that citizens of Kishima let mingle with their city ruled in an omnipresent glory. The rich leaf mulch muting all steps and filling the air with an earthly perfume that intermingled with the scents of flowers and mists to create a sense of life so strong old men felt young again. A life that ran rampart uncaring of the troubles of the sentient beings that lived in their cities. So great a sense of life that even this undead specter of a man felt it if only dimly. But unlike the old man who felt young again this Revenant felt only a moment of discomfort and melancholy. In life these forests and their life had made this master of death reflect on the virtue of what he did. In his undead state it only made him if only temporary of what he had lost in his death and revival. But although you can plant a seedling in lifeless soil it will only wither and die in time. And so it was with Ren's melancholy. All that mattered was his goal, the task that had been assigned by the man that held this assassin bound to life and death. To eliminate the children of Hecate and to find the extent of this Dark Goddess's ambitions and motivates. To that end and to that end alone he had been tasked. Nothing else mattered, and nothing would stop him. He could not be reasoned with, he felt no pain, He could not be corrupted and swayed from his purpose. Some thought themselves virtuous enough to walk the path they thought right. Ren's master had taken away his protege's ability to even think of swaying from the path let alone the ability to actually walk away.
A tireless hunter requiring no food, no shelter Ren walked the paths of this world for his life's mission. And this forest in it's ageless vitality was merely another step in the mission. For time out of memory demons, vampires, and the shadows that were no longer truly alive had haunted these woods. Their hunger to have what they did not posses drew them here like moths to the flame. For in these ageless woods they could bathe in at least the sensation of life. And since time out memory their existence had been whispered of in old legends and tales. Dismissed as figments of imagination to scare children by the majority of people the Goddess of Oribelle's summons were drawing them out in the same manner as Ren. But the nature of the Neesha was that the shadows that had protected them also made it difficult to tell Neesha apart from other supernaturals.
And so with each encounter in this forest one had to be careful, to keep their guard up until the facts and threats had been confirmed. And this Revenant knew as much. But in the end his goal was to find Neesha and often the best way to attract a predator was to expose oneself. And so Ren took no great care in walking through the woods. If not for his ancient armor and weapons the Revenant would have looked like another person on a walk through the forest of Kishima. And so those who took a great deal to hide themselves watched his progress through the paths of the forests. Those wise knew Ren for what he was and those he hunted drew closer sensing easy prey.
For 500 years Ren had hunted and though his quarry were anything but average mortals He was still a master of death. Humans had not been the only ones to die at the end of his blades. And even when he was but a man this hollow spirit had killed creatures of overwhelming power through carefully planned tactics and ambushes. And thus he feigned his normal walk through the woods all the meanwhile using his own abilities to track his prey that thought itself the hunter.
The prey drew ever closer into the trap laid out by the Revenant assassin. It's hunger was palpable and anyone with half a mind would have sensed it. To the fine tuned senses of the assassin it might as well been loud footsteps. And so hunter and prey drew ever closer in a game as old as time itself. The trap closed as the prey launched what it thought would be a successful sneak attack. Only to find the hunter one step ahead of it.
Although his fighting instincts spoke of ending it right then and there Ren's mind and mission needed the prey alive. After all killing Neesha where only half the mission. The Dark Goddess Hecate was the true enemy and the best way to get at a mother was through her children. So instead of cold steel the prey found the ice cold and unbreakable grip of Death at it's throat. Dead lifeless eyes stared into anger and shame filled eyes.
" Why does your Mother send you, what is her plan?" Ren asked the foul thing in his odd echoing tone of voice it's nature as lifeless as his eyes.
" Let me go." It managed to choke out with vehemence trying in vain to struggle free of Death's grasp.
" Why Does your Mother send you, what is her plan." Ren reticulated after slamming it against a nearby tree the sound of broken bones and the howl of pain echoing loudly in the quiet forest air.
" You'll get nothing from me." It choked out between gasps of pain and attempts to breathe hampered by both Ren's grasp at it's throat and broken ribs.
" Then I'll take your soul." Ren replied ramming his free hand into the foul thing's chest and ripping it out. Although mortal the wound was only the beginning for the Neesha. Dropping the physical body of the Neesha He held aloft the soul of the foul thing. A transparent ghost of the physical he ripped it asunder killing not only the body but also the soul. In the few seconds before death claimed the body horror washed over the Neesha.
Ren for his part walked on his mission still beckoned and the death of a Neesha was only part of it. The mystery behind the foul creatures was his master's true desire. And for that mission and that alone this tireless hunter walked the path.

Not even remotely startled, Asher's pace came to a complete stop upon hearing a feminine voice behind him. The tone was sweet & gentle, but also held the feeling of servitude. "Hello, Sarah," he replied whilst turning around to meet the woman that his father had obviously sent to meet him. "What does my father want now?" He knew that it probably wasn't is father sending the type of message that would need a woman, but the third woman he'd married.
"Ahem. I believe we both know that your father had nothing to do with this, Master Asher," the woman boldly announced. "Your step-mother wishes for you to stay in Firefly city & look into the nobles from here... Of course, in search for a future wife."
The look on Sarah's face easily told Asher that she believed the forty year old woman was absolutely insane. In turn, he couldn't help but laugh cutely. He was glad that they were on the same page. "Tell her that I'm simply here to make sure that Firefly city remains as tranquil as it has been. It's a miracle for it to be like such, so I plan on keeping it sane."
"Yes, of course, Master Asher," Sarah replied before bowing her head respectfully.
"Actually, take a few days off," he said with a kind look as he placed one of his credit cards on her hand. "In the end, tell her that I needed your assistance with... meeting women," he chuckled & walked off. It was only a few hours before Firefly city's view of the sun would set for another day. Night was close, the time for any Neesha that resided there to emerge.

"You're so blood thirsty that you would drink the blood of a Neesha," stated a male vampire with a look of amusement despite the fact that he was in no position to talk. His back was pressed against the wall of a dark alley whilst a black pistol was resting against his temple.
"No, Neesha, I just enjoy making you feel humiliation," Estelle replied with a mischievous grin before sinking her fangs into the creature's neck, freezing him in place. It had been a long night of hunting & rescuing wandering, naive humans, so she figured that she might as well enjoy a reward. What could be better than drinking the blood of her enemy whilst also stripping him of the dignity his ego held so dear? Besides, their blood wasn't at all different.
"Mm ~ Thanks for the meal, sweetheart," Estelle giggled as she licked her blood-stained lips. She took a few steps back, letting his body slide to the ground now that her own body wasn't there to support him against the wall. She pointed her weapon at the forehead of the limp, evilly-tainted vampire that struggled to hang onto the single thread of life he had left.
"Why... didn't you just kill me then?!" He managed to shout as he glared at Estelle.
"Because... it wouldn't of been as enjoyable as this, dearest," she replied with a honey-sweet smile that didn't reach her eyes before pulling the trigger.

The crowd was enthusiastic from the instant they had learned that the famous music sensation was going to perform here in Firefly City. It was truly a surprise and no one expected it. Hundreds of people that had managed to hear the news quickly arrived at the scene and joined in the multitude of people calling out one name. The night which was to be time for resting and danger became a moment where all the humans gathered in one place specifically the Plaza to witness the concert of the enchanting Calliope. Lights were turned on as all of it were pointed in one spot. Slowly, a familiar figure emerged from the smoke that hid the stage from the sight of the crowd.
"Good evening Firefly City!"
Her voice echoed as the people who finally recognized her as the smoke vanished screamed with much adoration. She waved at them cheerfully and even gave a few flying kisses to her fans. The scene was truly something to be proud of if she could say so herself. Humans adoring her almost blindly. They were truly imbeciles and she could not believe she was like them from long ago. How ignorant they were. Although, ignorance is bliss as they do say. Well, there was no point pondering about it. She was here to entertain them as their idol and she will do so without any hindrance and after that it would be her turn to play as a Neesha. Licking her lips in a seductive way, her audience shriek in glee at such an act.
"I am very happy for such an audience despite this concert being a surprise! Well, let us start this concert with my new song from my new album! Let us tone down the atmosphere a little bit!"
After that the lights dimmed to give emphasis onto Calliope's presence, the audience quiet down and the music began to play as a sad yet enchanting melody begin to fill the night air. Soon enough, the ethereal voice of Calliope was heard as the people relished in her sweet song that tells a tale of such sorrowful love. They do not know how befitting this was to the one who was singing it as of now.
"Even though I'm destined to become sea foam, I will always love you with all of my heart
Once I dissolve in the ocean and sky, Ill always watch over you
I want to be closer to the stay heaven at the surface of the sea
I longed for the day when that was no longer a dream
Under thick clouds and the ever cross waves
I saw you at the bottom of the sea on that day
First feeling of love in my life
How heartbreaking the feeling of love really is
Even though my new legs are aching
I love you with all of my heart
I cant dance but I don't care, Ill watch over you always
I realized Its not possible to obtain the star in the castle
Now matter how loud i scream my voice wont reach your ears
On the ship that night, I heard my sisters call, throwing me a silver knife
They suggested quickly to kill him I
Sing, oh sing on the ocean floor
Putting all my heart into a song
Even though you cant hear my voice, I wont stop with my singing
Hoping my voice wraps around you in the ever flowing wind
Even though I am destined to become sea foam, I will always love you with all of my heart
Once I dissolve in the ocean and sky, Ill always watch over you..."

When Asher got there, she stood in his way, visible, and said: "Don't you remember me?... My love. It seems that in all of those 80 years I haven't seen you, you haven't grown up at all, just for our love..." She smiled.
OOC Notes
Suddenly, Asher's thoughts were put to a sudden stop. In front of him was a female being that seemed to know him. "I, uh," he stammered as his eyes studied her. She looked so familiar, but he just couldn't place her. "I... know you. At least, I think so--" His words trailed off as she continued to speak & her loving words brought a blush to his face.

Dahlia went to the edge of the city, a part that no one went to anymore. She looked at the world beyond the city, the wind brushing past her like an embrace. It was where she had released the ashes of the one who raised her. She had said she wanted to be free, not pent up in this stone and metal world. Dahlia knew, when the time came, she would find no such kindness. They would probably throw her in a pit and forget her. She stared out for a long time, and began to speak, "Nana, what do I do, they may try to use this against me?" She got no answer, the dead not being able to speak back, and Dahlia closed her eyes. Dahlia decided the best action was to stay seen, but not use magic unless she needed to, she didn't want to give them a reason to suspect.
She walked slowly, taking the longest way home. The sun was long gone and the lights cast many shadows on the city. When the lights hit her skin it illuminated her in a strange silver glow, she truly looked like a creature of shadow. But her face revealed her true nature. She had not heard of any neesha about, nor seen any attacks, but she usually stuck close to home anyways. On her way home she watched as a human child begged her mother for one of the huge lollipops, and her mother picked her up in an embrace and kissed her cheek. Dahlia remembered the elf who was near her time who had raised her. The outside world was cruel, but when she was home the elf had told her she was special, and to never hate the elves for their misguided ways, and she never did. But it still hurt. Not wanting to go home she found a place where no one would notice her, and watched the people go by.

“Hm?” The traveler rose his brow, “That song…” Taro furrowed his brow in thought. “Where have I heard it before..?” He crossed his arms, bothered by his lack of recollection.
“Taro?” Jenga and Sayako were still walking, almost leaving him completely before they realized that young man wasn’t following suit.
“Master Taro?” Sayako tried to track his gaze, which was fixated on the large crowd down the way. “Oh, the show. Calliope’s voice is quite infectious.” She said, a bit disapprovingly however. “Master Taro?” The older woman asked him, his face was completely blank.
“Calliope? She’s the one singing?” He tapped his index finger against his temple and let out a deep sigh. “So troublesome…I can’t even remember where I heard her song before…” Taro scratched at his chin before he shrugged and shook his head.
“Oh well, guess there’s only one way to find out. I’m gonna go talk to the star!” The white haired, mocha skinned fellow grinned with confidence. “Yep. You guys wanna come too?” He spoke as if barging in on a star was an everyday task.
“Can we Sayako? I wanna meet Calliope too!” Jenga was yanking hard on his caretaker’s arm, causing her to adopt a sour visage.
“You two go on…I’ll just wait here.” She gave them an awkward smile before making her way towards a wooden bench, away from the crowd and music.
“Ah well. Come on Jenga, let’s go check out this Calliope.” He smirked, a twinkle in his violet eyes.
The traveler and young noble-to-be, forcefully pushed their way to the front of the crowd…

At the end of her singing, the crowd quickly clapped for her brilliant performance. She bowed to them graciously and thanked them for such a warm approval of her song. However, the night was still young and this was only the beginning. It was like what her savior had told her once. 'Sing them the sweetest songs for their deathbed', those words had always stayed within her. In addition, she is the most obedient child among the group of her Mother. No wonder she had been labeled by the other Neesha who knew about her as the representative of the Goddess Hecate. Although, it is still a secret not to be exposed anytime soon.
Taking a deep breath, she prepared for her next song as she listened to the request of the public for more. With a flick of her fingers, a new melody filled the entire plaza. It was more lively than the first as dancers entered the stage and joined Calliope. Along with it, the idol given the alias of Siren began to move her body with the tune as the crowd go wilder than before. She could not help but a smile upon her beautiful face that angels or even goddesses for that matter would have a say. This is the rondo for the demise and she would do her given role without doubt.

The words of crowds on monitor
Its just clouds in the blue sky
Why do you seem to be boring?
Alright the night is coming soon!
At the corner of her eyes, she noticed a presence of a supernatural in front of her. It ignited her curiosity as she did a pirouette and graceful faced that being that she had sensed. It was no doubt not human yet the features seemed of an elf and human. A trivia if she could say herself and furthermore, a child was beside the male half-ling in her assumption. Her trail of thinking did not reflect upon her actions and expressions as she continued singing. Instead, she used this to satisfy herself and maybe the man who looked at him with interest as well.
I fly over the Dimension
And then come close to you in Motion
Gonna invite you to the new world
All right, baby are you ready?
At that question, she reached out her hand towards that man and winked with such allure. The male fans all went wild and even envious as they glared at him. After doing so, she returned her focus in the choreography that was etched in her mind. Ignoring the plight she had delivered the half-ling she had seen in front of the crowd. However, she does have this intuition that this meeting was something that would lead to another event in the near future. So, it would not be a hassle to deviate from the practiced dance steps isn't it? When was it bad to have fun? With that thought, she turned her attention to the said man and the child he has with him as if talking to them more for the adult actually.

The dancers were not showing their confusion at the change in the singer's moves. Yet, they know how to improvise and continued with what they were doing. Calliope reached out her hand towards the young boy and if he would grab her hand, she would brought him on stage and danced with him while her eyes were upon the adult supernatural that was with him. This night was turning into an excitement she would be pondering about later on.

At the end of the song, a barrage of fireworks launched into the sky along with brilliant lights filling the stage as it was all focused upon the star of the Firefly City. The Angelic seductress Calliope and the audience going into a fit of amazement and praises for her whether it to be a man, a female, an adult, or a child. Nothing matters, they all adore her to their wits end and she could not be so glad about the ignorance of the humans. Maybe even a few supernaturals as well. After all they do say, if there is a job to do, it is worth doing well.

“Taro, Taro! Didja see me Calliope brought me on stage!” Jenga was radiating excitement. “Taro…?” The youngster was standing on his tip-toes trying to get into his view. “Tarooooooo!”
“Eh?” The white haired young man had a blank expression on his face, “Sorry, sorry…Jenga, why don’t you go get Sayako? I’m gonna go have a chat with the entertainment.” Taro smirked, glancing back at the stage.
“Huh? You can’t just go…” But before the boy could protest, Taro was already atop the stage, a devilish grin across his face. “Wow…he’s really dedicated.
When Taro arrived on stage, he could feel eyes burning hundreds of holes in his back from the crowd, he paid them no mind though, he was on a mission. The siren, as they called her, she managed to spark his interest, what that interest was, he didn’t quite know at the moment. Was it her looks? Sure she was a beautiful face, but he had seen those before. The singer’s voice though, that was what immediately drew him in. A creative soul was the best kind.
He took a boastful look around the stage, “Nice view…” He smiled a bit, “That song you sing…Calliope right? I can’t help but think about how familiar it sounds…” He slid through a wall of dancers to get closer to her, she was even prettier up close.

In life Ren had always been one to let his blades do the talking for him. With flashing steel and unmatched tactics he had proven no single person was his match. But the ability to kill had left his more subtle tricks of persuasion by the way side. For there had been no need to speak to a target, all his master had desired back when blood still flowed through his veins was the target's death. Nothing more or nothing less and in this regard Ren had been and still was the true master Death. But simple murder had been replaced with a mission far beyond the normal skill set of an assassin. Information was his master's true desire and the skills endowed in this Revenant made him ill suited to such a task. He threatened, tortured, and maimed but the Neesha had thus far refused to speak.
And that more then anything made this tireless hunter's mission in life all the more lengthy. But in Ren's mind it did not matter. If he had to kill every single Neesha in existence then he would make the streets of every city run red with their demonic blood. If he had to face the Dark Goddess Hecate himself and force the answers out of her mind he would. Nothing was out of the question for this assassin. Murder, rape, genocide whatever it took to fulfill his master's wishes. Ren was in many ways no better then the foul creatures he hunted but sometimes evil had to be fought by a different kind of evil. And despite his true nature Ren and the Master he served were truer guardians of the world then the most virtuous knight in shining armor. For they had never failed to deliver and dying a hero's death was a foolish idea. So many times had disastrous events been halted by the skills of the assassins Ren was a part of. Through murder and chaos they preserved order. To them the balance was the utmost concern and foolish ideas of morality were scoffed at.
And thus Ren marched through the forest seeking answer his master desired using whatever methods got results. His silent footfalls holding the authority of fate itself.
The mists cleared as the day wore on revealing once more the bright summer sun that Kishima sweated under. It's place in the sky sent it's golden light through the ageless trees bathing the forest in a verdant light were once mist covered everything. And as if on cue the birds sang their melody sweeter then anything a mortal could produce. A timeless choir that was the envy of any musician it wove itself around the wind that flowed in it's gentle breeze. The heat made the scent of flowers rise in a heady perfume that reinforced the sense of life that bathed the forest.
But this beauty was once more lost on the hollow spirit that walked the forest path. Instead Ren began a distance eating jog his long legs flowing from step to step with the grace of a dancer but as ever the utter silence they fell with spoke of his dark skills. After all even the most skilled living being makes some noise however slight with each step. But even a master tracker would fail to hear Ren walking. Faster and Further he ran not even breathing heavily. He was a tireless hunter marching ever onwards. Exhaustion nothing but a faint memory of days when he lived. For a thousand years he could run and he would still be capable of running for another thousand.
However he did not plan to run forever this Revenant. No he reckoned in a day and half perhaps to be in Firefly city were the mortals gathered as in any city in groups. Easy Prey for the Neesha and thus Ren planned to be their for the pickings at Kishima had grown slim. And the Neesha he found either knew nothing or were disinclined to talk. This assassin hoped in Firefly to have better luck. And if not well then true to other half of his mission the streets would run red with the blood of Neesha. Then again Ren was planning on that eventuality anyways. As his master had said such foul creatures could not be allowed to live.

Re: [OOC] Lacrimosa
I know that there's a wide spectrum of what someone could choose to be, but the reason why I allowed that was simply because I don't want to hold someone's creativity back. Plus, it'll make things a lot more interesting.
&, they are in a world with humans. Sorry, I should have explained things a lot more clearly. ^^;
Re: [OOC] Lacrimosa
You just said mythical races so:
Dahlia
She's an elf/half elf who has abilities with shadow magic. Because of this, she is seen as an outsider and evil, but she is not. She is actually good, and when one gets past her hard exterior, they see she is quite kind and friendly. I'm not sure how you are handling this, i.e. they are in the world with the humans or separate.
But I'd also be up to playing any of these races:
Wemic
Halfling
Gnome
Elf
Nymph
Half dryad (has to be half dryad cause dryads cant stray too far from their trees)
