This is Jesus Christ. This is His time.

The year is 2015. The world that exists around this time isn't that much different than the world we are used to. Human beings still traverse the Earth's surface, doing as they please. They make a living, they fall in love, they worship what they may, and they die.

1)But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2)People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3)without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5)having a form of godliness but denying its power.

Yet, as it was stated from the very beginning, there is a Truth that has remained as well. Unfortunately, at this time, the World and it's Advocates have squelched this Truth, attempting to hide its Light. The World is rampant with immorality, reeking and drowning in its Sin, and it is high time for Christ to make his appearance, take His own back to the Heavenly realms, and allow the Wrath of God to be unleashed upon the earth's surface.

We will be Left Behind.

We are everyman. We have a role to play in our society, and we are here to exist. We did not believe in the Truth, so we are condemned to face the Wrath to come. Whether or not we wish to believe as time goes on is left entirely up to us. More specifically, to you. Survival is unlikely. It is estimated that there will only be a small fraction of the world's population left standing once the Triumphant Return takes place. Yet, while we have the Truth, we live forever. Without that Light, we die in our Darkness.

Your character is acting out in response to the events that are about to take place. Din and I, as the GM's, will have the first posts. I will be initiating most of the action, and you are all invited to respond and create your own action so long as it doesn't deviate away from the initial story-line. We are strictly following the progression of the book of Revelation, and what that book details in regards to world events, the rise of the Antichrist, and the Triumphant Return. Should your character become a Christian throughout the duration of these events (which I'm fairly certain will occur for most if not all of you), then there will be a Rebellion that will rise up. I'll explain more of that as the plot progresses. In other words, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

A forward movement of the plot will be indicated by a post of my own, containing a Bible verse that indicates the upcoming chaotic event. I'd like it that everyone has an opportunity to post before we move forward, but I understand that some take longer to post than others, so I'm willing to work with you guys on the pacing of this roleplay.

Rules:

1) This is a passionate, sensitive, and potentially awe-inspiring topic to roleplay. I expect that, should you commit to this, that you post AT LEAST once a week, and with detailed, moving, productive posts. I'm not a grammar Nazi, but I expect your writing to be legible. I need all of your support and dedication in order to make this work. I want to see it through to the end, and I can't do that without you.

2) Language is acceptable in appropriate circumstances. I understand that those who aren't Christian don't bind themselves to the same moral standards as some Christians, but I want this to be clean, and as fun to read as it is to participate in.

3) Romance is allowed. While the circumstances aren't ideal, loving, lasting relationships can pop up in the strangest of places.
