Tell me, why does your blood run cold at the sight of me? Is it because you know death is staring you in the face? Or is it because you finally understand that you are nothing but cattle, and I've come to lead you to slaughter?
Sage is roughly six feet, five inches tall with a rather pale complexion and hair as black as the night sky. His eyes are blood red, and often have slit pupils instead of those of a human. He has a decently muscular physique, though he is rather lean, the majority of his muscles not fully showing. There are no scars on Sage's body, however he does have a tattoo on his right shoulder. It is of a spread wing raven with crossed swords behind it. His appearance does not betray his age. No, he only appears as a normal twenty year old male would. However, his eyes tell a tale of one who has lived longer than any mortal could imagine. He can usually be seen wearing clothes that the current humans would call "goth"; A black t-shirt with a white skull in the middle, black jeans, black armored boots, half finger gloves, one black skull ring, one silver cross ring, and a black tripp coat. On other occasions he wears black dress clothes and a red tie, covered with a long, black coat made of military uniform cloth. Most of his clothes are thicker than normal, or are armored.
Sage appears to be blunt or uncaring to most. Often times human adults may describe him as being apathetic or lethargic. However, he is really a caring person underneath. Though his is half vampyre, he still finds himself pitying human women or children. Men, however, appear to him as nothing more than cattle who he can kill at any given moment.
Among Sage's personal effects are Genesis and SoulRender. Two swords gifted to him by his parents. Genesis is the first sword to be passed down through the Akia family, the fact having resulted in its name. Its true form is a crimson blade long sword with a rapier style hilt, accented with a cross shaped guard. A ruby is set in the pommel, and silver runes run along the edges. It may appear as a six sided star-burst amulet with a red gem when worn as a necklace, but can be changed into a silver ring with red crosses running along it. This sword was given to him by his mother mere minutes before her death. Soulrender is a sword that would make even the devil run in fear. It absorbs the life force, energy, or essence of whatever it cuts. There is always a cold mist running along the edges of the blade, as the endlessly hungry sword absorbs the heat from the air around it. It appears as a sword with a long, black blade with silver runes running along the center. The hilt is made of pure silver, the guard being of an outcropping spiked shape, and the pommel having an obsidian gem set in it. It only appears as a black ring with silver skulls running along it when worn. The sword was given to him by his father, who so pitied the sight of his beaten son before him, that he gave him a means to even the odds between them. Both swords are made of a godlike material that does no wear, bend, or break.
In a dual holster he wears on the back of his belt rest his two guns, Misery and Regret, pistols customized heavily by Sage himself. Both are augmented with his power, and are made of a metal known as orihalcon. They are painted blue and black, respectively.
Sage appears to most as an uncaring man who wanders about carelessly from city to city, with no home to call his own. What humanity sees in him is little. To them he is nothing other than a regular person, to be counted among the billions of them, never to stand above, forever sinking lower with the rest of them. However, in reality, he is the only member of a species born of humanity, and a creature far more powerful than they can comprehend. Sage is the one and only true half-vampyre. The first of two, the only one to remain. He’s been around for more than a millennia, working behind the scenes, changing the courses of history, laying the way for the humans who despise him, the race that has wronged him many times over and has earned his hatred. He moves through the human world now, seeking the one person who holds the answers to the questions he has carried all of his life, the person responsible for his existence.
