War, it was what filled the land of Elenia. Both kingdoms were in a massive war, each fighting to stop the other. Centuries it lasted and it seemed like it would never end. That is, till the Light kingdom of Alzard turned to a legend. The tale of twin blades of light were found in the royal library. Seeing it as the only way to end this war, the king worked in training two promising young people so when they come of age, they can try to gain this power to end the Dark kingdom of Rune of their terror.

Our story starts off where these events officially begin...deep within an ancient cavern, where it is told that the blades rest, gaurded by two powerfull beasts of light. But little did the kingdom know..that this legend of light also had a shadow.

Deep in slumber, a young man with dark hair laid resting. In his hand, a dark blade held firmly in his hand. Unknown to the arriving group of soilders and their two "chossen" he and another were actually not far from teh alter they were heading, behind a wall just ahead of where the twin blades of light were placed.

Wandering the forest in search of medicine, Miyuki picked healthy herbs off of a plant and examined them carefully before tucking them away in a bag she brought. Suddenly, she heard the echoes and sounds of people. She lifted her head before crouching and watched them cautiously.
'This is an ancient area...' She thought, narrowing her eyes at the men, 'What are they doing here?'
"We will stay guard out here." The other spoke as one of them went down a path. Miyuki was curious but she knew she didn't belong there and she shouldn't interfere either. As she went to make her way back, through the forest of course, she accidentally stepped on a few leaves, making noise.

The crushing of greaves against the leaves and twigs echoed through the forests as a group of soldiers charge through the forest. In front of them is a guy with a black sleeveless shirt and baggy grey pants with brown leather boots. His blonde medium length hair russelled in the winds then a soldier behind the boy called him "Athadius we are approaching the cave very soon. We will accompany you as best as we can." Athadius turned and replied "Very good soldier I trust in you all the way to the end."

The soldiers and Athadius started to arrive at an ancient pathway with stone pillars and vines growing over rubble of the ruins. At the end of the pathway was a dark cave that had ancient rune markings stating only "A warrior granted with the sacred sword shall enter." A soldier said to Athadius "We cannot trespass the ancient caves. You have to go alone. If you take too long we will go in and search for you. We will stay guard out here." Athadius nodded to the soldier and began walking down the ancient pathway.

As dark storm clouds passed over the shining sun the forest below sat with lifelessness. That is not to say the trees did now sway with the winds that had only just began to whip violently, more that no animals moved. The wise creatures had voted to stay within their caverns and small nooks to escape the oncoming storm. However, one creature remained out in the open. As to whether or not it was by carelessness or choice was questionable either way.

A young man with obscenely long blonde hair placed in a ponytail upon his head laid silently in a clearing. His pale skin took on an even lighter appearance with the dissappearance of the sun while his red lips became even darker. His clothing consisted of a dark shirt with leather straps that kept it closed and a pair of completely black, with the exception of some faded spots, trousers and a pair of sturdy leather boots. When all was said an done he could be considered a handsome young man with femine features. The dream of all fine ladies or at least the ones he had met.

From the cloud above a single drop fell and landed on his long eyelashes and then under that his eyelid. With a little fluttering of his brilliant blue eyes he sat up and wiped the drop off. "Looks like rain," he said to no one in particular, being that he was completely alone. Almost immediately he reached for two things: his bow, which was of the finest quality and showed, and his arrows which couldn't really be appraised since they were in their case. I suppose I should find some shelter before it really starts to pour, he thought. Only moments after that a bright lightning bolt flashed across the sky and a steady downpour followed it. "Lovely, way to jinks it," he said to himself.

Increasing his speed the young man, found a seemingly drier space, of course drier was even an exaggeration. However it would suffice for now. In all honesty the man never really minded the rain but he really didn't want his bow string to get wet. Sure, he may have been being overly protective; after all it was doubtful anything truly bad would happen from the rain, but it was his most treasured and useful weapon. Holding his weapon to him he readjusted himself against the trunk of a tree and soon resumed his rest, although one couldn't truly say that the man was actually asleep.

Just what this boy is doing alone in the middle of a forest that could be safe but at the same time is probably extremely dangerous is an easy question to answer. He of course is outrunning the authorities from a nearby city that is in search of the archer known as Ian Kattori. That of course is to be expected however, especially after obliterating the house of an infamous business man. But hey, the pay was good.

Athadius went through the dark silent cave and only could hear the sounds of water dripping from the roof of the cave. The stench of feces and rotted flesh filled the air but Athadius tried to not pay any attention and continued through the dark pathway. Athadius saw nothing for the longest amount of time and it felt like a neverending purgatory of darkness. Athadius would gather the right amount of courage to continue. Athadius was to break the seal and obtain the great sword of light. Athadius was completely clueless on how to do this but his job would be simply to improvise.

His mind was set on a glowing part of the tunnel he continued unsure where he would end up next.

On the outside of the cave the soldiers stood guard outside the cave until all of a sudden the sound of branches broke. The soldiers reacted quickly pulling out crossbows a group of soldiers charged to the direction of the noise. The soldiers quickly arrived and found a girl the soldiers surrounded the girl and demanded "HALT! State your name!" They drew their spears and aimed it at the girl escape was inevitable and death was certain if she would not answer.

Miyuki sighed pathetically and raised her hands without much enthusiasm, "Miyuki." She had a feeling that they wouldn't go easy on her one bit. She could tell them the truth, but she wasn't sure if they would believe her or not. Before glancing back at the guards, she glanced down at her bag that contained the herbs for the clinic she worked for. She lightly gulped, but kept sangfroid.

The girl seemed to have a blank expression being on the killing end of a spear she stated her name was Miyuki. One soldier then replied "Miyuki..." The soldier took off his steel helmet he had short brown hair and scruffy facial hair. "Your one of the guardians of light we been searching for. We have a job for you to do" declared the soldier the soldiers grabbed her bag and escorted her to the ancient pathway with spears drawn and aimed at Miyuki. These were dark troubling times and they are not willing to let any suspicious characters leave. They recognized her name but was not sure if she truly is a guardian of the light. The Kingdom of Alzard was desperate for solution so they pointed her to the dark ancient tunnel. The soldier holding his helmet in his arms said "Go into the dark tunnel and we will see if you are of Alzard." The guards stood all around her if she were to run she would be killed by the soldiers crossbows or spears.

Athadius took a break inside the dark cave he felt he was brought here on a blind quest he is only to take guesses on what he must do. Will instinct guide him to his destiny? Or will fate meet Athadius no matter what pathway he takes? Athadius tried his hardest not to think about it. Athadius went back through the cave from where he came from. Athadius felt to rethink what he is doing before he continues in the cave. All of a sudden his name was being called outside the cave. Athadius charged through the cave and escaped through the entrance of the cave and found a girl being imprisoned by the guards against her will. Athadius commanded the guards "What is going on? She's just a girl" The soldier shouted "She is a spy of Rune." Athadius yelled back at him "You can't be entirely sure of that did you check her." The soldier with his helmet off approached and spoke "She declares her name is Miyuki as in the scriptures Miyuki is one of the guardians of light. We wish to see if thats true. If she is a member of Alzard she will survive the Ancient Tunnels. If she is a member of Rune she will not be allowed to leave with her life." Athadius nodded his head and looked at the girl and introduced "My name is Athadius seargant of Alzard. Come with me!" The soldiers helped Miyuki off the ground and escorted Athadius and Miyuki to the ancient tunnels.

"Guardian of Light?" Miyuki muttered to herself, almost silently, "Please." Knowing the guards didn't hear her, she sighed lightly before she was forced to be escorted to a creepy tunnel. She was planning on fighting back and running away, but she knew she wouldn't last long if she did. After they took her bag, she became frustrated and annoyed.
"Go into the dark tunnel and we will see if you are of Alzard."
She lowered her eyes to the guard and turned back to the tunnel, glancing down into the darkness before a person came running out from inside. She eyed him suspiciously, not knowing who to trust. Soon, she was stuck with him, and was forced to go to the tunnel. After he introduced himself, she sighed again, this time with her eyes closed. It felt as if she was dreaming.
