Crap. Someone else. Marlow lost the grin for a slight moment, while he tried to figure out what to do. He figured he'd explain the nicer parts of his plan when the small girl wasnt listening. He picked up his smile again to turn to the new girl.
"The reason why we're here! You remember the game right?" With that, he turned back to his original audience, and continued. "The first to collect all the Oress's wins! They're all manifestations of the earth's elements, and the one who gathers them all together gets a wish! Although, the twist is that each Oress is bonded with someone who represents their element, and they get powers based off of it to defend themselves. I got the worst bit of luck though... I got the element of emotion, which is useless unless it can be used to help someone else. How about you, little girl? I promise that whatever power you have can be helped by me heightening your emotions." Before she could answer, he placed his Oress in her hands. "I trust you, so I'm going to give this one to you to help you out. Although be careful, almost everyone but me and this girl over here dont know about the game, but think that this is a survival contest!" He pointed at the small heart on the inside. "If it's beating, it means that I'm telling the truth. Always look to that when I'm talking to see if I'm being honest or not, okay?"
He walked towards the other girl. "Aita, I'm going to be right back, okay? I have to talk to this girl about the game." He thought of his extreme distaste of the boring man John, causing his heart to beat slightly and to "prove" he wasn't lying. Let's hope he's boring enough for the rest of the game, he thought to himself. He took the other girl's arm gently, and led her down the hallway.
"Now then. Are you going to stop me or tell her the truth? I'd be perfectly willing to help you, as long as you dont do either of those." He kept up his smile, although it had faded slightly.
