Description

Ethan is a biracial man in his early thirties, with short dark brown hair, and a lightly tanned complexion. He has a chiseled jaw and angled features, an aquiline nose and round, soft brown eyes. Arching eyebrows and tightly curled hair give him an almost angelic appearance. Ethan is almost six feet tall, and of average weight, with an athletic build and well-toned muscles. His most distinguishing features are a long, sloped forehead, a long, knotted scar running the length of his left arm, and his warm, cherubic eyes. He typically dresses in street clothes - jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and jackets, although if necessary, he can dress up in collared shirts and a tie.

Personality

I prefer this comes out in roleplay. Then again, you probably have a good idea of some of his personality, at least outward characteristics, anyhow, based on the introduction to the roleplay.

Equipment

Ethan is always armed with two guns and a knife. He also has access to a number of other potential weapons or items that can be used as torture devices, due to his latest assignment.

History

Ethan was born and raised in the infamous housing projects of Chicago, by a single mother struggling to feed five children. Ethan was the oldest and was often tasked with watching his younger brothers and sisters while their mother worked double and sometimes triple shifts in a minimum wage position. From as young as ten, Ethan became involved with the criminal activities of some of the older members of local gangs in the projects, carrying out simple tasks, until he was finally caught by local police selling dope to schoolkids in the next neighborhood. Ethan dropped out of school in the eighth grade to serve a stint in juvenile detention, and then returned to the only life he knew, becoming even more deeply entangled with local crime, beginning to make a reputation for himself as someone willing to commit even the most heinous crimes in order to feed his family.

By the time he was eighteen, Ethan had relocated his family, with the blessings of his mother, to a new city, New York, where they moved into a small apartment in Brooklyn. Ethan's criminal behaviors didn't end there, though, as he continued to sell drugs and accept money to beat money out of debtors and traitors. Arrested again at nineteen, Ethan was sentenced to another three years for simple assault, and upon release, was determined to at least complete his education. Ethan earned his GED, while strengthening his criminal network to include one of the underbosses of New York's mafia. His younger siblings attend school in Brooklyn, and none of them have been caught up in Ethan's criminal activity, and he plans on keeping it that way.
