As soon as our feet stepped inside the cruise ship, Drei and I felt a sudden rush of excitement!
This trip is definitely worth it.
My best friend and I have planned this trip for months already.
It took me sometime before I realized that I should capture every moment in a shot.
I felt the heavy tug of my Nikon DSL Camera on my neck and I started snapping pictures like crazy.
"Hey smile girl," Drei's background was perfect.
"Let me take your pic as well. I'm not the only one who should enjoy this cruise," Drei said as she flashed her perfect smile.
I passed the camera to her and posed by the railings.

Cassandreia
I never felt a rush like this my whole life.
One of my dreams finally came true. Helena and I are finally on board to the Caribbeans.
I was so overwhelmed that I couldn't stop smiling.
Then I heard Helena say, " "Hey smile girl!"
I posed for snapshots and said after, "Let me take your pic as well. I'm not the only one who should enjoy this cruise!"
She handed me the camera and time went flying by.

Naomi

Naomi made her way onto the cruise ship, the wind blowing against her face. Her hair was down and in its natural form, wavy and curly. She had managed to pull it back so it raced down her back and was away from her face. Brown eyes looked at the other people arriving on the ship, some were couples. She frowned and looked away from them. She had to find her way. She pulled her luggage behind her smiling at the few people.
I'm glad their are so many happy people. Maybe this won't be such a bad trip after all..., she thought to herself.

Naomi ran a few fingers through her hair before she made her way towards the front desk to see what room she had been assigned. She would now be living in that room by herself for the rest of the trip.
I should have never had come., she thought to herself.

HELENA
"That was a good pose, it reminded me of that old lady down your block!" I giggled which sent the both of us laughing as we made our way to the front desk.
"Imagine that! We were just saving up for this trip and next thing we know we are on board. I can't wait for more," I beamed a smile at Drei.

"I'm starving. Can't wait for lunch. What do you think will they serve us?" Drei rubbed her stomach, frowned but then smiled again when she started imagining the gourmet entry.

"Well now that you are done with your diet, we can feast,"

"I know! At least we can fit in our bikinis again. Size 0 should be banned, but oh well." she rolled her eyes and gave out a giggle once more.

"Oh shiz, I need a to take a leak. Where could the loo be?" I'm part British and there are habits that are hard to break.

"Why do you keep calling it a loo?! You know I can't stand that word. Go ahead look for it before you wet yourself here," Drei pushed me away playfully.
"I'll take care of our reservations," she continued as she lined up to the receptionist.

CASSANDREIA
Helena and I were on our way to the front desk when she made a comment about my pose in the picture she took.
We kept on giggling and then I felt my stomach grumbled.
I was so hungry after almost starving myself so that I can fit on that size 0 bikini Helena bought for the two of us.

On our way, Lei felt the need to take a leak which left me alone to confirm our reservation for the room.

I was walking towards the counter when a rushing kid bumped into me and I came bumping into a girl who was combing her hair.
She had beautiful brown skin but her eyes looked sad.
"Oh my, I'm sorry! The kid was running. It created a domino effect. I'm so sorry!"
I turned to the girl and apologized.
Her curly hair slightly covered her face.
"I'm really sorry!"
I kept on apologizing.

Aiden sauntered out of his room seeing as he checked in before all the other annoying people came to check in and ask question or take pictures. He sighed, as he made his way towards the main part of the boat. Sure enough, there were people freaking out and two girls taking pictures. He rolled his eyes, "Typical," he muttered under his breath. He didn't bother looking them over, because they'd probably notice him. His milk chocolate eyes landed on another girl who looked utterly depressed. He rolled his eyes. Sure, he didn't like that he had to be here, but this was a cruise. How can you not enjoy yourself on a cruise? He'll never understand girls.

Aiden leaned casually against the railing as he watched the three girls once more. Oh, he was definitely a happy camper here. His parents sent him on this cruise as punishment. They said, "We just think it'd be best if you got a way from home for a little bit and figured some stuff of." He rolled his eyes and groaned. Caught up by his own thoughts, he didn't notice the girls walking away. He sighed and pushed himself up off the railing.

Quickly, he walked towards them. He was just fast enough to bump into one of the girls. He smiled at her, it seemed she was heading to the bathroom. "Hey," he said in an enticing tone. "Sorry." He ran his hands through his hair and locked his eyes with hers. Oh, she was gorgeous alright. This would be tons of fun. "Are you okay?" He inquired.

Naomi looked at the girl as she waved to her saying that she was sorry. At first all Naomi could do was stare at her, wondering why she was saying sorry so much. She had just bumped into her, it was nothing to freak out about. She scratched the back of her head before smiling and shaking her head. "It's alright. It was just an accident. I'm not hurt," Naomi said, trying to calm the girl down. The girl before her was pretty and she bet boys followed after her where ever she went. Naomi chuckled a bit, before sweeping away her curly hair that had fallen in front of her face.

"I should be the one saying sorry for bumping into you. I wasn't paying any attention. I'm Naomi by the way and you are?" Naomi asked, extending her hand.

If she was going on this cruise then she was going to make some friends. She had to forget about her past and look forward towards a good time. But no matter how much she reassured herself, she knew that it wasn't going to be that easy.

HELENA
I was trying to make my way towards the loo when a guy bumped into me.
"Hey," he said in an enticing tone.
"Sorry." He ran his hands through his hair.
"Are you okay?" He inquired.
He asked me three questions in a row but I'm really, really, really need to release my pee.
Their was a certain look in his eyes but I shrugged it off and went running towards the loo.
But before I got lost in the crowd, I shouted back, "SORRY!"
Then I went running again.

CASSANDREIA
"I should be the one saying sorry for bumping into you. I wasn't paying any attention. I'm Naomi by the way and you are?"
The pretty girl offered her hand for a shake.
I accepted it and explained, "I can get really clumsy when I'm around a lot of people. You can call me Drei. It's nice meeting and bumping into Naomi."
I grabbed the passports and tickets on my sling bag and asked her, " I suppose your headed for the front desk as well. Who are you with?"
I gave her one of my friendliest smile.

"Its nice to meet you Drei," Naomi said with a smile. She looked around just in time to see another girl rushing into the crowd as if he were in dire need of something. She chuckled a bit before picking up her bags, tossing one of them over her shoulder. When Drei asked who she was with she had to try and keep the smile on her face. She didn't want to think about the plans that fallen apart right before the trip. "Oh I came by myself. I decided that I needed a little vacation to clear my head," Naomi explained, as she began to walk towards the main desk to check in and get her room.

"Who did you come with?" she asked as they arrived at the desk. She quickly reached into her bag, handing her tickets and showing the lady behind her desk that she had passport as well. The woman smiled pleasantly at Naomi before handing her the key to her room and telling her what floor it was on. She turned back and looked at the other people arriving. She saw happy couples, staring into each others eyes. She nearly gagged on the spot. Maybe she should just stay in her room the whole time.

CASSANDREIA
"It's just me and my best friend, she's off to take a leak. And oh boy, its gonna be some revelation vacation," I sighed but I perked up again.
"Hey why don't you join us if in case you need some company? Our room number is R302," I fished around my organizer for a calling card and handed it to her.
"Here in case you need to contact me. It's really nice meeting you but I won't be keeping you too much. Anyway, I know you are as tired as we are but I do hope we get to see you around," I smiled and offered my hand again.
Well I guess having someone around Lei and I will prevent awkward moments when I get to tell her the important thing.

I waited for Lei to come back and when she did I flashed our key card and we continued to hunt for our suite.

We tracked our room and dropped our bags, took a dip and prepped up.
I loved how the room had a spacious tub so I turned on the hot water and filled it.
"Hey what took you so long? Long line?" I asked as I dipped into the tub full of warm water and bubbles.
"No not really, it was a bit way up the hall and this guy..." Lei was twisting her hair into a bun as she prepared dipping in with me
"Wait what guy?!"
Splasssh! Lei jumped in, sending bubbles flying in the air.
I giggled as I wiped my face with the back of my hand
"As I was saying before you interrupted me, I bumped into this guy who asked for my bloody name but nature was calling so I had to rush off without introducing myself," she leaned to reach the side table and lit the aromatherapy candles she brought.
"What?! That's unacceptable!" My mouth was left hanging out of shock.
Lei leaned her back by the other side and properly placed her arms on the sides of the tub.
She slowly closed her eyes as her feet bumped my side under the warm water and said, "It's a cruise ship dearest. If it's fate that I should meet him then I'll be able to meet him no matter what."
I did the same but even if my eyes were already closed I can help but feel excited, nervous and scared at the same time.

We remained quiet for a long time, inhaling the fragrant scent of cotton and vanilla.
Twenty minutes more and we decided to rinse ourselves in the shower and dress up.
I picked a maxi dress I bought especially for this trip. Hope it can be a good luck charm.

HELENA
When I got back, I found Drei shaking hands with a pretty girl and they separated ways.
She flashed the key card towards me so we looked for our suite.
Soon we were inside the tub discussing my little rendezvous with the guy I bumped into earlier.
I left Drei with the following words, "It's a cruise ship dearest. If it's fate that I should meet him then I'll be able to meet him no matter what."
I relaxed and soon I found myself drifting in dreamland.
I still don't know how I'll be able to make myself lost in a different place on purpose.
I can't tell Drei.
I wanted to go away for a while where no one knows me or where no one who knows me of my location.
A little adventure I always wanted.

After a long time on the tub, I felt a tap from Drei and we took a shower.
I picked a short romper Aunt Leila gave me as a going away gift.

Maybe I'll just try to escape on the last day so I can still enjoy myself. Whatever.

Aiden's face fell when the girl walked away. Had he just been rejected? Odd, it wasn't often rejected. He ruffled his hair and then turned. "What the fuck," he muttered, watching the girl bolt towards the bathroom for a second. She certainly intrigued him. Turning once more, he headed back to his room. Sure he had seen it before, but everytime he saw it, he got a little flabbergasted. After all, this was his punishment. He smirked a little.

Quickly, he changed into a tank top and basket ball shorts so that he could go running. Then, he proceeded to the Litto deck and began running around the track.

The track went around the whole top of the ship and he got a nice view of the ocean and the sunset. There were one or two people running with him, but he wasn't going to make any contact with them. One of the ladies looked like she was about to die because she was breathing so heavily and the other guy was doing some awkward dance/run while listening to music. Aiden shook his head as he continued.

Finally, after the sun had set and it was growing darker Aiden called it quits.He returned to his room and showered. Then, he into black pants, white t-shirt, a black jacket, black beanie, and white sneakers. He nodded, looking at himself. He would get that girl. He would. He headed to the 'Teen Club' to see if she was there. He was a determined fellow.

Naomi looked down at the number that Drei had handed her before nodding her head and sliding it into her pocket. "Sure, I'll catch up with you later," Naomi said before she looked at her own room number. She waved to Drei before making her way towards her own room. She stumbled up a few steps, and weaved her way through a number of hallways before arriving at her room, which read R322. She slid in her key and entered the room, and dropped her things at the door. The room was large and beautiful. The room was painted a sultry red color that reminded her of cinnamon. She picked up her bags before making her way towards the bed, and dropping down onto it. She smiled and laid back. It couldn't be that bad to stay in a room this luxurious.

She sat up and made her way over to a full length mirror, before looking herself over. She wore a blue blouse that hugged against her waist with a pair of shorts and a comfortable pair of flats. She smiled, before moving her curly hair way from her face and grabbing her key from off the bed. She slid that and her phone into her pocket, along with a little cash before exiting her room to get a look at the rest of the ship. She left her room, deciding that she would give time for Drei and friend to settle in before she said high.

She walked down the stairs and began to walk around the ship, taking everything in. She arrived on the main deck, and looked at the pool before. She smiled, knowing she would have to take a dip sooner or later. She wove her back around deciding that she would head to the lounge to relax and take in the scenery.

The two girls hoped on the elevator and walked towards the restaurants.
Both girls ordered dinner as they chatted in between bites.
"You reckon they'll have an amazing party?" Lei's English accent poured out of her lips.
"I reckon? Hahahahaha," Drei always find it funny when Lei forgot about her accent.
"Fine fine fine! But really do you think will have a blast their?"
"Of course! We are around," Drei said as she took a final bite.
Lei sipped on her juice and let her gaze wander around to take a look at the other passengers.
She pulled out her card and waved at a waiter for their bill.
Once they have settled everything they went inside the girls room and retouched their lip gloss and re fixed their hairs (even if it doesn't take much. Girls.)
Drei pulled Lei's arm and went straight to the club.

The area was already filled with young people who were moving with the beat with alcohol and cocktails on their hands.
Lights streamed everywhere.
Soon the two girls were in the middle of the dance floor moving to the beat as their hairs flipped and their hips grind.

Drei was also scanning the floor for a familiar face, Naomi.
Lei's eyes however were closed as she was trying to absorb the vibe.
A guy walked towards the two with 2 glasses of Gilbeys. He smiled and tried to say hi over the music.
The girls stopped and looked at him.
It was Lei who asked, "Yes? How can we help you?"
"Well I was thinking you and your friend would want to join me any my friend over their," he pointed the glass towards a table with a guy. "And by the way, here are some complimentary drinks on me." He offered the glasses.
"I'm sorry but we are not here to get wasted," Drei said it this time.
"It's just a glass of Gilbey's, I'm not here to get you wasted," he said in response.
"No really, we are not interested," Lei said and turned her back on him.
The guy placed the glasses on top of a passing waiter's tray and continued to pursue them.
"Then maybe we can just dance," the guy said as he touched Lei's elbow.
It irritated her that she had to pull away and face him.
"What part of no cant you understand?" her face was already fuming red.
"Let's just go," Drei grabbed her and tried to make her leave with her.
But the guy pulled Lei again, "Don't be such a tease baby!"
Lei slapped his face and tried to pull away...

Aiden watched as everyone danced at the club. He wasn't much of a dancer and he was against the music they were playing. It wasn't his style. In fact, he found it humorous. I mean Akon was trying be respectful, but failed epically. Being respectful to a girl doesn't include calling her a sexy bitch. He sighed and rolled eyes, leaning back against the seat. Already people around him were drunk, but he wasn't one for to much alcohol. He had one beer tonight, but he wasn't having fun with it so he was better without it.

Scanning over the crowd, his eyes fell to the middle of the floor where he saw that girl from before. To his dismay, the girl was with another guy. He heaved a sigh, missed his shot. Then, he noticed how the guy seemed to be hassling the girl and she slapped him across the face. He sighed and decided perhaps it was time to step in and be like a superman. He walked forward over to the two and smirked.

"Dude, get your horny ass out of here."

"Wha... Who are you?" Drei was surprised by the knight in shining armor who came to the rescue for her friend.
"You!" Lei looked at the guy in astonishment as well.
I doesn't need a rocket scientist to figure he was the guy the bestfriends were talking about earlier at the tub.
The prick stepped away showing signs of defeat, or maybe because the bouncers already stepped on his game and was approaching their location.
"Let's just get out of here Lei," Drei clasped her hand to Lei's wrist and walked towards the exit.
"Thanks, I guess I'll see you around," Lei wriggled her fingers as a sign of goodbye towards "Superman".
Drei smiled towards him as well and the two walked out of the club.

"Me? I'm Superman. Nice to meet you," he smirked. Then, he returned his eyes to the guy. He gave him a glare and he backed away slowly. Aiden couldn't help but crack a smile. Guys these days were so soft. He then turned back to the two girls, but the girl from before was being dragged away. He almost let his face fell, until she hollered she'd see him later.

"Yeah. Maybe," he called back. He smirked and then returned to his seat. He ordered another beer and sucked it down. Not that he wanted it, but just that he was bored. It was sad, really. The guy, and his gay group, were all staring at him. He walked over, smiled, and said, "Take a picture, it last longer. Faggets." Then, he walked away and went back to his room.

"Time to turn in early, I suppose." He changed and slid into bed. Tomorrow was the day at sea and he was going to enjoy it by the pool. He closed his eyes and waited for sleep to slowly take him over.

"What was that all about?" Lei asked her as she continued getting dragged out of the club.
"You saw what almost happened in there, no way I'll let you get in trouble," Drei finally let go of Lei's wrist.

Lei rolled her eyes and silently thought to herself. This was supposed to be a vacation! I thought I left my parents back home?!
She let out a deep sigh and tried to understand her friend's over protectiveness.
They arrived at the mess hall and stood in front of a vending machine, Lei grabbed a few changes from her purse and purchased an iced coffee.
"Then what are we going to do instead?" The can rolled out and she opened the tab.
"Let's just retire to bed early," Drei grabbed the can from her and took a sip herself.
Lei frowned at the suggestion and gazed towards the dark horizon just ahead of them.
"I'm not even tired."
"Well be having our first stop tomorrow, we should get some rest."
"You go ahead, I'll just roam around the upper deck to tire myself so I can get to sleep," Lei drank the final amount from the can, crashed it and dunked it into the trash can.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah. You have your key card right? I have mine here."
"Alright I'll go ahead. Be careful okay?" Drei kissed her friend on the cheek and slowly walked towards the other exit and waved goodnight.

Back at the Ledo deck, Lei was absorbing the gentle wind that caressed her hair and face.
She leaned over the railings and smelled the salty air then closed her eyes.
There were a couple of people passing by who might have been wanting to get a whiff of fresh air themselves.
On the last day and I'll run away. I'm sorry Drei but I have to do this for myself. I'll send a postcard from time to time.
A single tear trickled from her right eye. She let the wind dry her tear as she pushed her hair back.

Drei checked in their room and dropped her sling cocktail bag by the sofa.
She grabbed the make up remover and cotton ball and erased every trace of cosmetics in her face as she looked at her reflection in the mirror.
Lei, I hope you get to understand the situation. It's not my fault.
After much ritual she brushed her teeth.
When she was done, she changed into her sleeping gown and tucked herself in one of the two single beds in the room.
She was tired but she couldn't go to sleep at all, she tried to close her eyes but they seem to have their own lives that no matter what she does they tend to open up again.
She grabbed the remote control and switched on the TV.
She found a channel that was playing the movie "If Only" and soon she was absorbed by the program.
After a few minutes of romantic movie she was snoozing softly.

Tossing and turning in bed, Aiden sighed. Sleep obviously wasn't an option so early during the night. He sighed, but there was nothing to do. Nothing at all. He was bored sitting there in his room. He didn't even bother with the T.V. because cruises never had good television. It's a known fact. Unless, you're a girl or gay. Sighing, once more, he rolled out of bed. Luckily, his bed attire was the same as his running attire. He decided he'd tire himself out.

Up to the Ledo deck he went and he smiled as he saw the running track. "Well, here goes nothing," he muttered. He proceeded running around the track. No one ran at night, but him. He was alone on the track with all but a few passer-byers enjoying the view, smell, and feeling of being at see. Running, he passed by a familiar person but he didn't stop. Instead, he went around the track once more just to make sure he was correct.

Once he figured out that he was, he ran over to her. His tanned and muscular body was wet with sweat and his breath was ragged. "He...heey," he breathed. He leaned against the railing as the breeze cooled his overheated body. Finally, he looked at her face. "You...okay?"

"He...heey," a voice said beside Lei by the railings.
She was startled that she quickly dried her cheeks with her palms and wiped it against her dress.
"You...okay?" He asked again. It was the guy she bumped into earlier as well as the same guy who tried to shake off the a*hole back at the club.
Lei swallowed as if there was a big lump in her throat and spoke,"Yeah"
She raised her hand and offered a shake towards him, "I haven't formally introduced myself for two consecutive times. I'm Helena. And by the way thanks on what you did back there at the club."
After the handshake she returned her gaze on the vast waters and closed her eyes again.

Not one for clubbing, and with a lot on his mind, Danny sat at the opposite end of the deck, out of sight, guitar in hand. Again, he couldn't sleep. Again, he was looking down at the photo of his band mates on the card they had given him along with the ticket. It was a really stupid photo, right after their first gig together, when they were all still excited from the adrenaline rush. He smiled to himself as he examined the picture, reminiscing. They'd stood together, like brothers: Dave - the temperamental bassist; Danny - rhythm guitarist and vocalist (and songwriter); then Jerome - the insane drummer; and finally James, the flashy lead guitarist. They were crazy. Or at least, had been.

He felt so old.

They'd all known that this day would come - the separation - but it didn't make missing them any easier. He missed the fooling around, the insane stupidity with which they all behaved when both drunk and sober, the fights and the pranks, and the laughs. All of it. They had separated after high school, because the other guys headed off to colleges spread across the world a year before him, and hadn't spoken except at Dave's funeral. Dave died in a car accident, and they'd all rushed back to identify and bury him.

Now it was as though the picture was broken, with Dave's face just a memory caught in the flash of a camera, telling him that life was there to be lived, and not to be spent reminiscing. Again, he read the words they'd written inside the 'good luck' card, simple words he could hear them saying:
'Go kick ass, man! Show them who Danny really is.' That was Jerome, of course, whose stance towards life was all-in, head-on confrontation, reaction before thought.
'Rock 'n' roll, it's all we've got.
Think ahead, but don't think a lot!
Rock them by the foundations, Dan!' And that was James, their guitarist who loved to make wise words rhyme.

Before he could let himself ponder on the missing signature too much, he quickly put the card back in his pocket.
'Focus,' he told himself. He looked at the guitar in his hands, then looked at his surroundings. Strumming absent-mindedly, he began to think on the task at hand: the demo he had to send. Two songs. And he had neither.

He played simple chords, stringing them together like someone with a stutter stringing together a sentence. He couldn't find a melody - it seemed as though his brain jarred whenever he began to think on writing the music. It had been happening ever since the others left and Dave died. Instead, he looked to finding the words, keeping his fingers occupied with simple strumming of three main chords. He whispered words that he'd written down the night before, but he felt they still didn't fit any melody.

"Can't sleep at night,
I'm can't see right,
I know it's my fault,
because my words are false
and I'm so good,
so good at lying to myself..."

Either it was because she was alone or the fact that she was sleeping on a boat with the waves gently crashing against it, but she couldn't sleep. At least not as long as she had wanted to. After leaving the lounge and stopping to get a view of the ocean she had returned to her room and decided to get some sleep. She fell asleep quickly enough only to be awoken again by the fact that she was alone. She tried drifting off again, but in the end she just ended up staring up at her ceiling listening to the ocean.

The sound itself was relaxing, but she couldn't relax. This trip was suppose to be about fun and new beginnings and thinking about where she wanted to go in life, and who she spent it with. But the one she wanted to spend it with wasn't here and she didn't know what she wanted to do any more. Naomi sighed and rolled over, staring at her guitar that rested up against the wall. She hadn't played it in a while, and it made her feel guilty. Slowly she rose out of bed, throwing on a pair of jeans and jacket before grabbing hold of her guitar.

If she wasn't going to sleep, then she was going to spend her time doing something. She left her room, and stepped out into the quiet hallway, a small chill going down her spine. She hated when things were like this. Naomi ran a few fingers through her wild hair, that she had somehow managed to pull back into a ponytail. She sighed, wishing she hadn't been born with it. She quietly arrived on the deck, a gentle breeze blowing against her face, carrying with it the smell of salty ocean air and the sound of strumming. That caught her a bit off guard. She smiled, happy to know she wasn't the only one who couldn't sleep.

She plopped herself down in a lounge chair, before taking hold of her guitar and strumming it gently making sure it sounded right. Once she was satisfied she started playing, her hands moving delicate from string to the next. The music was delicate and soothing and she found herself closing her eyes as she continued to play.

At the sound of strumming in the distance, he stopped, briefly thinking he might be hearing music in his own head, due to exhaustion or something. It was as though someone was playing a response to what he was playing, thus having a 'conversation' in music.

He stood up and walked around, his guitar strap stretching across his back to make sure his instrument wouldn't fall, as he was curious as to the source of the sound. Who could produce such a delicate tune? After a few minutes of searching, he found her, her eyes half-closed as if in ecstasy. His footsteps rested light on the deck, making no sound to interrupt her as he sat down opposite her - far enough for her to not feel threatened, but close enough for her to notice him. He adjusted a few strings for tuning and ever so softly met her tune with one of his own, in harmony with her melody.

At first Naomi thought she was just dreaming as she heard a second guitar join her in perfect harmony. She continued to play her fingers continuously moving as she continued to play. She opened her eyes, and found a young man sitting across from her, playing right along with her. It was odd, she hadn't even heard him walk up and sit down. She watched him, admiring his looks and the way he played. She smiled before looking back down at her guitar and continuing to strum the same melody. Never before had she heard a song quite like this, delicate and beautiful, and yet equally strong. She continued on for a few more minutes before bringing her song to a close. She looked up and smiled at the young man that sat across from her.

"Well, we sure make quite a pair," she began, "I'm Naomi Harding by the way," she said, as she introduced herself. The young man looked to be about her own age, with sparkling sapphire blue eyes and shoulder length golden-brown hair.

He watched her with his sapphire blue eyes, smiling slightly.
"I'm Daniel Bourbois, but most people call me Danny," he replied as he shook her hand. "I'm guessing I'm not the only one having trouble sleeping." He gazed at her shyly. Girls were like kryptonite to him, he just froze and didn't know what to say or do.

"You play really well," he remarked. "Where'd you learn to play like that?"

A scream woke Drei from her slumber, it made her jump from bed and look around for the source.
Then she heard the "dun dun dun duuuun" familiar sound effects from the television. It made her breath a sigh of relief. So she stood up and opened a water bottle and took a swig from it. She picked up the remote from the bed and turned it off before washing her face inside the bathroom.
After patting her face dry, she looked at her reflection and stared at it for the longest time.
Then suddenly she remembered Lei. Thinking that she might be in another trouble, Drei changed her clothes and headed out their suite.
She checked the time, it was around 12:15am. And it was a bit chilly outside. She tried to check the ledo deck but was halted by a sound of strumming.
She found a guy strumming his guitar. He stopped and looked around and stood up.
Looks like he found what he was looking for so he stood up. Drei decided to follow him.
He was not that good looking, heck he wasn't even that appealing to most girls but he had the most beautiful expressive eyes she saw.
He stopped by his tracks and seemed to be talking to someone. So what Drei did was to go around a little bit and she found something that disappointed her a lot.
It was Naomi.
She felt happy, bad and guilty all at the same time. Happy because Naomi's eyes lit up and she seemed happy as well, the first time Drei saw her like that since she met her. Bad because she really liked guitar guy and guilty at the same time because she was supposed to look for Lei.
Drei was about to turn around when she recognized Lei's image next to a guy by the railings.
So she silently passed by Naomi and guitar guy, the only way she can get to Lei's location. Hoping the two didn't notice her she tried her best to pass by unnoticed.

Once she was near enough Lei, she called out her name, "Lei!"

After hearing someone call her name, she glanced at the side and Lei saw her bestfriend approaching which made her sigh. She wanted to break free from Drei even for just a while. Not that she doesn't appreaciate Drei, but sometimes she just wants to be alone.
Quickly she grabbed "Superman's" hand and tried her best to go stay out of Drei's sight.
"You don't mind if Louise Lane would take you away for a while, do you?"
Her pace started to increase as running away made her feel free and happy.

Drei almost tripped by a rope that was on the way, luckily she was able to retain her balance.
She glanced back to where she saw Lei with someone when she found nothing. She was very sure she saw Lei.
She still proceeded but the scene was empty.
Something made her glance back to where she saw Guitar Guy a while back.
Hoping she'd see something that will at least satisfy her.
She turned around and saw______....

As he spoke to Naomi, Danny smiled, but something was amiss. His ear was musically trained, so he picked up sounds quite easily. He glanced up and saw no one. Shrugging it off as something he'd imagined, he focused his attentions on Naomi once more.

"Did you hear that?" he held his hand up briefly, as if to keep her silent. He muttered to himself: "Maybe I'm really going insane..." He turned around with the sincere feeling he was being watched, but he couldn't see anyone for a few moments. Eventually, his blue eyes focused on the figure who gazed back at him from the other side of the deck. He smiled shyly at the stranger - his broad smile also betraying relief for it meant he wasn't a nutcase (yet).
