Introduction
Brianna has a lot to be proud of; good grades, great art, a somewhat stable family, and slightly popular. One thing has eluded her grasp, though; love. That's right, she's without love. Men have always been a puzzle to her, and she's never been able to get one to love her. They have avoided her for stupid reasons: she's fat, and she has a mental disorder. Both of these things are unappealing to men, and driven them away despite her good traits. She has spotted a man around town like no other, one that goes by DJ. She's not only attracted by his looks, but his personality and his accepting and kind ways. Very unlike most men. He, however, has a dark secret, and a not so dark secret. Will she find out before he crushes her heart?

Personality: She's mild mannered, but can flip at any time. She's also very blunt and brutally honest. Her wit is as sharp and quick as a butcher knife on a side of meat.
Appearance: She appears unkempt, her brown hair is often messy and sometimes wet in the mornings as she neglects to dry it. Her eyes are hazel, and often make her appear P.O.'ed even when she isn't. She is chubby, to say the least.
History: She's had a normal life other than the fact that her father and aunt sheltered her way too much. As a result, she's afraid of disobeying adults.

OOC Notes
Brianna was at the public library. She'd meet a friend of hers here, as this was their favorite spot to get together for a good time reading. She also needed to return a book that was a day late, not that there was a penalty until 3 days after the due date, but still. The afternoon sun blazed, it was the beginning of July and the national holiday finished up just a few days before today. Humidity made Brianna's forehead drip with perspiration, as if she was a melting candle. She decided to go inside, it was way too hot not to appreciate the AC inside.
OOC Notes
Midnight walked up to the library, glad to have finally made it. It was much too hot, and much too humid. She went inside, looking around. Her friend had said she would be here...oh, there! "Brianna," she said, i na soft voice as she made her way over to her. "I'm a little late...I had to finish washig dishes first; you know I get stuck with dishes..." She trailed off, glancing around. Where to start... "What section today?"

"Ummm....let's start in Maths and Science today, since we started in Social Sciences yesterday" Brianna whispered with some hesitation, "Hmmm....we've only got this section left until we've read all the books in the library, collectively." She thought for a minute then continued whispering, "You know Richard, the guy in grade seven at our school? He has an older brother in grade twelve. I never saw him around though, until recently. Probably because Richard's family just moved here from a town west of here. He told me of all of his siblings, including his two older brothers. I saw one of them in school the last day, he was really hot and very kind to people. His name is Daniel, but everyone calls him DJ".

"Okay...wait, what?" She glanced at the librarian, who had shushed her, then back at Brianna. "Hot and nice to people? ...That's an unusual combination..." She glanced at the librarian again. "Come on, let's go to the books, where she can't hear us..." Midnight suggested, hesitantly. "And...if his name is Daniel...where does the j come from in DJ?" She glanced around again. "...Or maybe we should head to the back, so the lbrarian won't even know we're talking."

"Okay," Brianna said, heading towards the back. When she reached there, she started whispering "The J comes from his middle name, Joshua". Brianna had picked up a huge Chemistry textbook and read it quickly. "Interesting...." she uttered once in a while whilst reading it.

Midnight grabbed a randome book from the shelf; biology. She read through a couple of pages in silence, then, "That makes sense. ..." She grinned slightly, whispering, "You like him, then?" Then, realizing that she might be prying, she mumbled, "Sorry..." And went back to her book, still mumbling, "It probably isn't my business...if you don't want to answer..."

"Yeah, I like him. If you were there on the last day of school, you would have saw him at the graduating ceremony. He looked so cute in what he was wearing, the robe and mortarboard. He looks good in the school colors, too. He graduated with honors, I overheard the ceremony when I was getting my report card, then I peered inside. I got into trouble though, but not too much as it was the last day" Brianna whispered.

"I was going to go, too...too bad I got sick that day, huh? ...Looks good in school colors...no one looks good in those..." Midnight laughed quietly. "If he can pull off school colors, he must be something else..." She flipped the page slowly, reading only the first paragraph before looking back up at Brianna. "They had to let you off easy, of course; what can they do on the last day; suspend you for the summer?" She laughed quietly again, then, realizing just how much she was talking again, stopped and looked down to the book.

Brianna chuckled quietly and read the book she had, a folded piece of photo-paper fell from her pocket. It was a picture of DJ in the robe and mortarboard receiving the diploma. She'd managed to snap a quick picture, disguised among the other flashes of light from delighted parents' cameras. She had it developed on the second of July, after she used up the rest of her film on the national holiday that took place the day before. She didn't notice it had dropped from her pocket.

Midnight was absorbed in her book, and, as she looked up, noticed a piece of paper on the ground. "Someone dropped something..." she said, reaching over to pick it up. She examined it carefully. Then she giggled quietly. "You took this...the school colors do suit him..." she said, showing it to Brianna. "I think you took it, anyway..." she added quickly, quietly, thinking for a second that she might have been mistaken. But it had to be...she had to have taken it...it was next to her, anyway... "I think it fell out of your pocket...you carry it everywhere?"

"Yeah, I took it and I carry it everywhere. I love him that much, but I think I may be obsessed" Brianna admitted quietly, "Whenever I fall in love, I become an obsessed person, wanting to get my dose of the person in question, as if he or she were a drug."
(Maybe Midnight could be a competitor for DJ's affection, once someone plays him. Eh, I'll play him now until someone claims him)

(...eh, maybe not...i'm not so good at playing a competitor...much better as a supportive person than a competitor...i kinda imagined Midnight as one not to notice she likes anyone until they say something about them liking her, anyway...)

Midnight watched him walk away, thinking. Then she whispered, "The heat from outside? A better story would have been sunburn from being outside a little too long. ...And...you could have said something to him.." She glanced back at him. "That might have been on of the few chances you would get to talk to him..." she added, looking back down at her book.

"I'm so shy....especially when it comes to men. Can you help me find the right words to say?" Brianna whispered. Midnight was probably right about it being one of the only chances she might see him; he was going away to a university soon. He'd been accepted with multiple scholarships, since he graduated top of his class. He'd be going away in September, and she'd never see him since the post secondary school was in a city that was a little more than an hour or two away.

"Can I...?" Midnight paused to think. "...I can't think of any words to say...you know I'm no good with men either...but, if you can force the blood out of your face, maybe you can thank him for his concern...it's the best shot you've got, really...and it could only be seen as common courtesy to thank someone for making sure you're okay, especially since he doesn't know you very well..." she suggested, then realized that this time, she really was talking too much, and looked back down at her book. She whispered, "If you don't move soon enough, he might leave the library," with another glance at him, as if to make sure he wasn't leaving just yet.

Brianna forced the blood out of her cheeks, then approached DJ. "Umm....h..hi".
"Huh? Oh, it's you"
"I just wanted to say thanks for your concern. I appreciate it."
"Oh, well, you're welcome," DJ replied, "I didn't get to know you that well. My name's Daniel".
"I knew that, your brother Richard told me," Brianna said softly, "But thanks for telling me. He could've been lying". She laughed to let him know it was a joke.
"Oh? You know him?"
"He's a great friend of mine".
"Oh yeah! You're Brianna, that girl that he always talks about. You know, he admires you a lot. He may be a little to young for you, though."
"I'm not really interested in him, he isn't my type, what with his constant friendly teasing which is hard to tell apart from his regular teasing".
DJ giggled, "I know what you mean. Tell me something, though, why do you always look at me with that look?"
Brianna was floored, but answered anyway, "I like you. A lot. In...that way".
DJ's smile was wiped clear off his face, "I...I'm not interested. In fact, I don't even like girls like that...I'm....I'm into guys."
Brianna prevented herself from welling up right then and there, but then ran back to Midnight and told her what happened.

"Wow...we never expected that one..." Midnight whispered after she had explained. She glanced around. "Maybe we should talk about this somewhere else...i think my house is empty right now...if you want to talk..." she offered, hesitantly. She had no idea what else to do about this... "Well...his younger brother admired you..." she added, in attempt to make a joke.

Brianna nodded as tears streamed down her face. She still held onto the picture she had of DJ, but didn't realize it. I...I loved him! How could he do this to me? Why? That was all that went through the poor girl's mind as she got up. "Yeah, at least Richard admires me", she didn't smile though. "I could use a good talk right now."
The book DJ picked up, the one about the art of murder, wrapped him deeper into it. So much so, in fact, that he didn't notice that he made the girl cry.

Midnight stood, too, noticing the tears Brianna was crying. She cast a quick glare in his direction, hoped he didn't see it, and turned back to Brianna. "Yeah, let's just go back to my house...we have some ice cream lying around; no one would notice it going missing," she whispered, grinning. She thought for a second, then added, "And we won't have to whisper!" She grabbed Brianna's hand and led her out; she herself knew that tears could make vision a little blurry.

Brianna stumbled a little bit after dropping the Chemistry book, as it was the only thing keeping her balance at the time. "I wonder why everyone else gets their own way and I don't. I mean my other friend got DJ's older brother Frank. I know because she told me. He's cute too, I saw him before."

"Well...we can't all get what we wanted; there would be a lot of fighting because there are often a lot of people that want the same things. At least it wasn't beacuse of you...it was just because he was...because he was gay," Midnight explained, trying to be soothing. She glanced around, just looking. She gave a little sigh. "There was nothing to be done about it. His brother wasn't, but that can happen a lot; siblings can be very different; I'm sure you noticed that with me and my siblings."

"Yeah, I noticed" Brianna said with a sigh, "It's just that....that DJ was just the right age and right combination of traits for me. Richard is too young, a seventeen year old cannot date someone who's only twelve. That's technically pedophilia." She leaned a little on Midnight in a gesture of tiredness, "Crying makes me tired".

Midnight nodded, and allowed her to lean against her, putting the arm around her shoulder to keep her from falling. "There are always others...and yeah, it technically is pedophilia...until he grows up a little, anyway..." She shook her head, realizing that that wasn't the point. She looked up and saw the street her house was on. "Almost there...crying makes me tired, too...and you barely know him, anyway...how do you know it was the right combination of triats? He might be hiding some..." She realized the accusation she was unintentionally making. "I mean, everyone has secrets, Brianna."

"I'm glad we're nearly there" Brianna said, her eyes were red and puffy with tears. "I was talking about the traits I saw, including how kind he was to people and his looks. His looks were perfect, albeit he's a bit short but that's okay. Well, I hope there's a guy or girl out there for me, I don't want to be alone forever."

DJ spied upon a man outside the library, he was the person he was looking for in the first place. He got up, tossed the book back on the table, and withdrew a small blade from his belt. He snuck up behind the walking man and pierced the back of his neck. Blood came out in a rush as well as cerebrospinal fluid, but not very much becaue of the hole's size. DJ pretended that the person tripped, then he "helped him up". He carried the corpse to a place where he'd planned to bury it, and filled the hole with lime below and on top of the bleeding body.

Well, this is my second roleplay. My first one was unrelated, and I think it has died.
Anyway, the information for it is in the roleplay introduction. If you have any character suggestions or questions, here is where to ask.
Seriously, suggestions would be nice, be it for people, places and such. I'm a noob at making roleplays, so bear with me on this one. I really want this RP to work out, it's such a great idea.
